Stampin’ Up! Christmas Means More Elf

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How has everyone’s week started off? I’ve got a busy couple days with work then I start my yearly Christmas baking on Wednesday night. Perfect time to be baking since we are expecting a pretty big snow storm. Last I heard they are predicting 12″-18″ of snow, but I always wait since they are seldom correct. Guess we’ll have a white Christmas this year. I normally have off today, but I felt bad that I couldn’t work this Thursday or Friday and I know how busy the dog bakery is right now, so I told them I could work today.

I have one final super fun Christmas card for you today. All my cards have now been mailed and I think I’m done for the season. I’ve been wanting to make this one and I have someone special in mind that I want to send it to. I forgot how much fun these cards are to make. Here’s my final Christmas card for the season (I hope).

I used the retiring Stampin’ Up! Christmas Means More Photopolymer Stamp Set for the inside of my card. The outside is all cut and punched pieces. I’ve seen a card similar made by Rachel Tessman, I added my own twist to it.

I started by embossing a Granny Apple Green card front using the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder. I cut a panel of the Brushed Metallic cardstock using the Ornate Layers Dies. I sponged the edges of a panel of Granny Apple Green cardstock using Granny Apple Green Ink and my Stamping Sponge. I scored the center of the panel, folded it in half and sponged the inside edges with the Granny Apple Green Ink. I adhered the sponged panel to the center of the Brushed Metallic die using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I took a strip of Basic Black cardstock and adhered a rectangle of Brushed Metallic cardstock in the center using Stampin’ Seal. I cut a smaller rectangle of Basic Black cardstock and adhered it in the center of the Brushed Metallic using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the belt to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut 2 trees from a panel of Whisper White cardstock using the Pine Tree Punch and embossed them using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder. I adhered the trees to the top of the card front using Glue Dots, having them over lap on the score line of the center Granny Apple Green piece. I adhered the card front to a Granny Apple Green card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Means More stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Brushed Metallic mat using Stampin’ Seal then to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the matted panel to the inside of the Granny Apple Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the feather image from the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Cling Stamp Set in Real Red Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock to the bottom of the envelope front. If you know the movie Elf he wears a green hat with a yellow rim and red feather. I adhered a panel of Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

WHISPER WHITE CARDSTOCK PRODUCTS- AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST

Stampin’ Up! announced this information related to the Whisper White paper products late last evening:

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. We believe in the quality of the new Basic White cardstock and we know it will become your new crafting staple!

What does this mean for you?

With Whisper White going out of production, this means a number of Whisper White products will be affected. Below is a list of all products that will be replaced with our new Basic White cardstock. These items are now available while supplies last with an order limit of 2 per item per order.

  • Whisper White 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Cardstock (124302)
  • Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (149710)
  • Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes (131527)
  • Whisper White 3″ x 3″ (7.6 x 7.6 cm) Envelopes (145829)
  • Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 11″ Cardstock (100730)
  • Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 11″ Thick Cardstock (140272)
  • Whisper White Medium Envelopes (107301)

Our new Basic White products will become available to purchase as soon as we have them in stock. This means that some Whisper White and Basic White products may be available at the same time. Additionally, due to the nature of sourcing, some Basic White products may not be available before the Whisper White products sell out. Please know that we are working on getting these products available to you as fast as possible.

Stampin’ Up! Warm and Toasty Yule CAS

Good Sunday morning my fellow stampers. How is everyone’s weekend going? We had a rainy day yesterday, but today is sunny, cold and windy. I’m looking forward to our quarterly ‘In-Person” team meeting today virtually. I always have so much fun at our meetings getting together with my team members, talking and laughing. Hopefully by the next meeting we will be able to really meet in person again.

Just when I thought I was done with my Christmas cards, my aunt asked to make 7 special cards for her. She said she would rather buy them from me than the store, which I was honored about. I used the Stampin’ Up! Warm & Toasty Cling Stamp Set for today’s.

My design is from Try Stamping On Tuesday Challenge #485. Here is their sketch.

My colors were inspired by The Color Throwdown Challenge #622. Here are their colors.

I also played along with the Paper Players Theme Challenge #520. Here is their theme.

I started by embossing panels of Cherry Cobbler and Real Red cardstock using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder and adhering them to a Crumb Cake card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of ‘Tis The Season 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper in the center of the embossed panels using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the adorable deer from the Warm & Toasty stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the image in using my Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Ivory and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Stitched Nested Labels Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Warm & Toasty stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I cut the end into a banner and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Glue Dot on the end overlapping the artwork.

I did not stamp a sentiment on the inside yet. This one is for her Great Grandson and I need to see what she wants. I stamped the deer image from the Warm & Toasty stamp set on the bottom of the Very Vanilla panel and colored it in using my Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Ivory and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope. I stamped the deer image from the Warm & Toasty stamp set on the envelope front and colored it in using my Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Ivory and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the ‘Tis The Season DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Holly CAS

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers. How is everyone’s week going? We’re halfway through already. Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow? I’ll be making all my pies and pumpkin cheese cake tonight. We’re having a very small gathering tomorrow, just my family and my son’s girlfriend. Hopefully next year our gatherings can be back to normal.

For today’s card I kept it pretty clean and simple. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Joyful Holly Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card.

My design is from Sunday Stamps Challenge #244. Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Garden Green card front using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the panel to a Garden Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the holly image from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Garden Green Ink twice. I stamped the holly fill image from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Garden Green Ink, stamping off once. I stamped the berry fill image from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Real Red Ink. I cut the image out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies and embossed it using my Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder. On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Garden Green Ink and cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of ‘Tis The Season Designer Series Paper using my Stitched Rectangle Dies, 2 sizes larger than the artwork. I adhered the artwork to the DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Garden Green Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the holly images from the Joyful Holly stamp set on two of the corners in Garden Green Ink. I stamped the holly fill image from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Garden Green Ink, stamping off once. I stamped the berry fill image from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Real Red Ink. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Garden Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the holly image from the Joyful Holly stamp set on the envelope front in Garden Green Ink. I stamped the holly fill image from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Garden Green Ink, stamping off once. I stamped the berry fill image from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Real Red Ink. I adhered a panel of ‘Tis The Season DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Zany Zebras Birthday

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? I’m heading into work again today. I was hoping to have the day off, but they put me on the schedule. It’s a short day at the dog bakery though, I don’t go in until noon and I’m done by 5pm.

For today’s card a co-worker asked me to make her nieces daughter a 1st birthday card. It took me a bit to come up with something, since I thought I didn’t have anything appropriate for a 1 year old. Then I remembered and here’s what I came up with.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Zany Zebras Cling Stamp Set for my card along with a sneak peek inside of a new set coming in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.

I started by cutting a panel of Whisper White cardstock using the largest Stitched Triangle Dies. I stamped the adorable little zebra image from the Zany Zebras stamp set in Magenta Madness Ink on the bottom of the triangle. I added a little color to her stripes, mane and tail using my Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers. I then embossed the triangle using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. From that same panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the zebra image again in Magenta Madness Ink and I stamped the sentiment from the Zany Zebras stamp set in Magenta Madness Ink. I used some washi tape to cover the happy part of the sentiment so I would just get the birthday. I cut the sentiment out using the smallest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and I fussy cut the zebra using my Paper Snips, not cutting the mane or the tail. I added some color to her stripes using my Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I adhered the fussy cut zebra on top of the stamped zebra on the triangle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the triangle to a Whisper White card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut all the letters and the #1 from a panel of Rainbow Glimmer Paper, which I adhered to a Foam Adhesive Sheet, using the Playful Alphabets Dies.

I cut 3 of the small balloons out using the Happy Dies one in Granny Apple Green, one in Highland Heather and one in Mango Melody. I embossed the Granny Apple Green and Highland Heather balloons using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder. I cut the 3 strings and 3 bows from a panel of Magenta Madness cardstock using the Happy Dies. I adhered the strings to the back of the balloons using Glue Dots and the bows to the bottom of the balloons using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the balloons to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the #1 to the Mango Melody balloon. I adhered the letters to the card front the way I wanted them and adhered the die cut birthday under the happy using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added some Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front. I adhered the card front to a Granny Apple Green mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to a Magenta Madness card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from a new set coming in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, the Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Cling Stamp Set. This is 1 large stamp with 19 sentiments on it. I used my Stamparatus to get just the one sentiment centered on a panel of Whisper White Cardstock. I used my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker to ink up just the sentiment I wanted to use. I stamped the zebra image from the Zany Zebras stamp set to the side of the sentiment in Magenta Madness Ink and I stamped the party hat from the Zany Zebras stamp set in Magenta Madness Ink on the opposite side. I added color to the strips on the zebra and the pom-pom on the hat using my Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers. I colored the dots on the hat in using my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker. I stamped the grass image from the Zany Zebras stamp set under the zebra in Granny Apple Green Ink. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Magenta Madness card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the zebra image from the Zany Zebras stamp set in Magenta Madness Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the grass image from the Zany Zebras stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink below the zebra. I added some color to the zebras stripes, mane and tail using my Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Warm Hugs for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. Hope you are all doing well today.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a Theme challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects .
Here is our Theme for this week.

Here is my card using this Theme.

My design is from Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #477. Here is their sketch.

I also played along with “Just Us Girls” Word Week Challenge #556. Here is their word.

I started by adhering a panel of Plaid Tidings 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I embossed a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock using the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder and adhering it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock using the largest square from the Layering Squares Dies. I cut a panel of Plaid Tidings DSP into a banner using my Paper Snips and adhered it to the Cherry Cobbler square using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the matted banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the outline mug image from the Stampin’ Up! Warm Hugs Photopolymer Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink. I stamped the mug fill image in Shaded Spruce Ink, stamped off once. I colored the inside of the mug in using my Crumb Cake Stampn’ Blends Markers. I stamped the decorative round border image from the Warm Hugs stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Warm Hugs stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink. I cut the images out using my Warm Wrapped Dies. I cut the other small panel of Whisper White cardstock using the 4th largest square from the Layering Square Dies and stamped the steam image from the Warm Hugs stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink. I adhered the die cut mug below the steam using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the artwork to the banner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Shaded Spruce Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Warm Hugs stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the outline mug image from the Warm Hugs stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the fill image in Shaded Spruce Ink, stamped off once, inside the outline. I stamped the steam image from the Warm Hugs stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink above the mugs. I colored the inside of the mugs in using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the mug image from the Warm Hugs stamp set along the bottom of the envelope front the same as I did for the card.

I adhered a panel of Plaid Tidings DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Special Someone for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How is everyone doing today?  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a Theme challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects .
Here is our theme for this week.

My niece needed a card for a friends son who’s turning 4 and she wanted something with animals.  Worked out perfectly for me.  Here’s my take on the theme.

I started by embossing a panel of Pacific Point cardstock using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder.  Since this is a mini embossing folder, I embossed half the panel then moved the embossing folder over to the other side, being sure to match up the dots, and embossed again.    I adhered the card front to a Pacific Point card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a panel of Granny Apple Green cardstock using the grass die from the Special Day Dies and adhered it to the bottom of a Balmy Blue panel using Stampin’ Seal.  I cut 3 rectangles out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the racoon outline image from the Stampin’ Up! Special Someone Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped the racoon fill image over the outlined image in Sahara Sand Ink.  I stamped the squirrel and mouse outline images from the Special Someone stamp set in Basic Gray Ink.  I stamped the squirrel fill image over the outlined image in Smoky Slate Ink and the mouse fill image over the outlined image in Smoky Slate Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the balloon outline and string images from the Special Someone stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Real Red Inks.  I stamped the balloon fill images over the outlined images in the same colors stamping off once.  I cut all the images out using my Special Day Dies.

I adhered the racoon image to the largest rectangle and the squirrel and mouse images to the smaller rectangles using Glue Dots, tucking them in the grass a little.  I adhered the rectangles to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the strings and balloons to the squirrel and mouse using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On 1/4″ strips of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiments from the Special Someone stamp set in Pacific Point Ink and adhered them to the artwork using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Pacific Point Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the outline balloon and string images from the Special Someone stamp set around the sentiment in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Real Red Inks.  I stamped the balloon fill image over the outlined images in the same colors stamping off once.  I had stamped and cut out 2 of the racoon images on the Whisper White panel so I decided to adhere one of them to the inside using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Pacific Point card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the racoon outline image from the Special Someone stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the racoon fill image over the outlined image in  Sahara Sand Ink.  I stamped the balloon outline and string images from the Special Someone stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Real Red Inks on the envelope flap.  I stamped the  balloon fill image over the outlined images in the same colors stamping off once.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Hello for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How is everyone doing today?  We have a couple new hoppers with our group. Welcome Julie Johnson and Nicole Bloxom, so excited that you joined us.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have sketch challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects .
Here is the fun sketch we had to work from.

Here is my card using this sketch.

I played along with the Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Challenge #506.  I went across the top. Here is their board.

I also joined in with Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #129. Their theme is ‘Just Saying Hello’.

I started by cutting 5 each of the smallest square from the Layering Squares Dies in Cajun Craze Cardstock, Crumb Cake Cardstock and Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I embossed the Cajun Craze squares using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder and I embossed the Crumb Cake squares using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder.

I arranged the squares on a panel of Copper Brushed Metallic Paper and adhered them using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped 3 of the outline maple leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cajun Craze Ink and the fill image of the maple leaf in Cajun Craze Ink, stamped off once, over the outline image.  I stamped 2 of the outline oak leaf image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Bumblebee Ink and the fill image of the oak leaf in Bumblebee Ink, stamped off once, over the outlined image.  I stamped 3 of the acorn outline image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped the fill images of the acorn in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off once, for the top and Crumb Cake Ink, stamped off once, for the bottom.  I stamped 2 of the pinecone outline image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off once, and the fill image from the pinecone image in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off twice, over the outlined image.  Using the Autumn Punch Pack I punched out the acorns, maple leaves and oak leaves, I fussy cut the pinecones using my Paper Snips.

I adhered the acorns, leaves and pinecones on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals in each cardstock square.  I wrapped a piece of Mint Macaron Basket Weave Ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, around the metallic card front adhering it in the back using Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a piece of the Metallic ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack around the basket weave ribbon and tied a bow.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using my Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Very Vanilla card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment and card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the acorn, leaves and pinecone images from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set around the sentiment the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Cajun Craze mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the acorn, leaves and pinecone images from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered a panel of the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How is everyone doing today?  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have sketch challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects .
Here is the sketch we had to work from.

Here’s my card for today using this sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Plaid Tidings 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Shaded Spruce card base using Stampin’ Seal.  I embossed a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock using the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the  Stampin’ Up! Coming Home Photopolymer Stamp Set, I stamped the car, house, trees and wreath in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored all the images in using my Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Shaded Spruce, Smoky Slate, So Saffron and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut all the images out using my Home Together Dies.

From the same panel of Whisper White cardstock, I cut the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the 2 largest trees to the oval using Glue Dots.  I adhered the house, trees and car to the oval using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added the wreath to the house using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I adhered the oval to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Cling Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the Whisper White panel and fussy cut it using my Paper Snips and adhered it to the top of the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wishes & Wonder Cling Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the large and small trees from the Coming Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel and colored them in using my Shaded Spruce and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the card and house images from the Coming Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Plaid Tidings 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Partial Die Cut

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  We’re halfway through the week and on the downhill to the weekend.  Hope you are starting to make some plans for something fun.  We had an awesome time at the beach yesterday.  The water was beautiful, it was a bit hazy, but still a wonderful day.  I went for my usual walk along the water looking for shells and sea glass.  Our day got cut a little short by a thunderstorm that came rolling in really fast.  Everyone got called out of the water as soon as the lightening and thunder started.  It was a great day spent with my daughter, nephew, niece and her 2 boys.

For today I tried something new called the Partial Die Cut card.  I’m really liking this and can’t wait to try it again with different dies.  Here’s my card for today.

I played along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #284.  Here is their theme.

I started by adhering a panel of Bumblebee cardstock to a Just Jade mat using Stampin’ Seal.  On the Bumblebee card base I stamped the large sunflower image from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Cling Stamp Set in Cinnamon Cider Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with my Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I placed the matted panel over part of the sunflower and lined up the die from the Sunflower Dies.  I tacked it on the panel, so it wouldn’t move, using washi tape.  I cut the 1/2 of sunflower out of the panel, then embossed the panel using my Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder.

I adhered a strip of the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series paper to the left side of the card base using Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I cut the sentiment into a banner using the Triple Banner Punch.  I cut a strip of Just Jade cardstock into a banner using the Triple Banner Punch and adhered the sentiment to it using Stampin’ Seal.  I cut the banner down to 3 1/2″.

I adhered the matted embossed panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals, making sure the sunflower lined up with the die cut.  I adhered the sentiment banner to the top of the panel using Stampin Dimensionals.  I added a few Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In-Color Enamel Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Cinnamon Cider Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I adhered a strip of the Flowers For Every Season DSP to the side of the panel using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Just Jade mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Bumblebee card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped part of the large sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of Flowers For Every Season DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Warm and Toasty Cool Yule

Good Saturday morning my fellow stampers.  How has your weekend started off?  I’m working today, but I have off tomorrow.  I’m not sure what we are doing tomorrow, if anything.

I’m on a roll with Christmas cards now.  I need to get 50 done by the beginning of December.  I figured as long as I try to get 3-5 done a week I should be good.  Here’s today’s card.

My design is from Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #468.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Plaid Tidings 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, which I made into a banner using the Banner Triple Punch, to the left side using Stampin’ Seal.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the adorable deer image from the Stampin’ Up! Warm & Toasty Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink.  I colored the image in using my Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Warm & Toasty stamp set above the deer in Early Espresso Ink.  I cut the top of a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock using the Delightful Tag Topper Punch and embossed the panel using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder.  I adhered the artwork to the tag using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I added a piece of the Gold Metallic Trim, form the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack, to the top of the tag and frayed it.  I adhered the tag to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Shaded Spruce Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Warm & Toasty stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I adhered a strip of Plaid Tidings DSP to the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the deer image from the Warm & Toasty stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Plaid Tidings DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
