Stampin’ Up Beauty and Joy Birthday Card

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has your week started off?  We have had beautiful weather here.  I hate going into work when it’s this nice.

Today’s card is another one that we made at my last Stamp Camp.  I just wasn’t ready to make any fall cards, but I wanted to share one of my new stamp sets with the ladies.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper on a Smoky Slate mat using Snail.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flower pot image from the  Stampin’ Up Beauty & Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set (available Sept 4th)in Smoky Slate Ink.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink above the flower pot.  I stamped the leaves from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the tree trunk.  I randomly stamped the tiny flower image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink  on the leaves.

Using my Banner Triple Punch, I punched the bottom of the cardstock to make a banner.  I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the top of the card front twice and tied a bow.  I adhered the card front to a Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tiny flower image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink around the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pear Pizzazz mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower pot with tree images from the Beauty & Joy stamp set on the envelope front the same way that I did on the card front.  I adhered a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  The stamp set I used will be available for purchase September 4th.                        Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Beauty and Joy for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Fun Fold Friday.  Is everyone ready for the weekend?  Are you making any fun plans?  I’m going to be heading to the shore for the day today.  I’m really looking forward to going and just relaxing for a few hours.  I’m hoping that the water won’t be as rough as it was last time I was there.

I have a sneak peek for you today along with a Fun Fold.  I received my Pre–Order on Tuesday.  I heard the UPS truck coming down my street and I just knew it was for me.  I ran to the door to meet him and got my package and just tore into it.  I was so excited to see my new items and the new Holiday Catalog.  If you’re on my mailing list you will be receiving one soon. This fun fold is another new one that I’ve never done before.  I really had a lot of fun making this one.  This actually might be my new favorite fun fold.  Here’s my card.

Aren’t these colors gorgeous together.  I was inspired by the Global Design Project #201.  Here are their colors.

I also played along with Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #233.  Here is their theme.

I started by adhering a panel of the new Come To Gather Designer Series Paper to the side card front panel using Snail.

I stamped the wicker pot image from the new Stampin’ Up Beauty & Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink.  I stamped the leaves image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink above the tree trunk.  I stamped the tiny flowers from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink on top of the leaves.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail and then to the side panel of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center.  I stamped the tiny flowers from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink in the corners of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted sentiment to the inside card front right behind the card front artwork using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I added a few Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the bottom of the inside card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in the center of the inside of the Whisper White card base in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I stamped the tiny flowers from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink in the corners.  I adhered the Whisper White card base inside the Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the tree trunk from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the leaves from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink above the tree trunk on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Come To Gather DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Very Versailles Daisy Lane Card

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers and Happy August!!   How has your week been going?  The weekend is approaching quickly.

IT’S THAT TIME!! TIME TO REDEEM YOUR BONUS DAYS COUPONS THAT YOU EARNED IN JULY

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Very Versailles Cling Stamp Set.  We made a similar card at my last Stamp Camp class.  Here’s my card.

I started with a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the top right and bottom left of the panel.  I then stamped the leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on the opposite sides coming out from the center.  I tore the edges all around the panel and sponged them with my Basic Gray Ink.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat using Snail.

On a panel of Petal Pink Vellum I stamped the larger daisy from the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set twice in Petal Pink Ink.  I stamped the smaller daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Petal Pink Ink twice on the Petal Pink Vellum.  I punched all the daisies out using the Daisy Punch and the Medium Daisy Punch.  I adhered the larger daisies together using a Glue Dot and the smaller daisies together using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the smaller daisy to the larger daisy using a Stampin’ Dimensional and adhered the daisies to the center of the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I added a Terracotta Tile 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dot to the center of the daisy.

I adhered the card front to a Terracotta Tile card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the leafy image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on both sides of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink in the center of the Very Vanilla panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Terracotta Tile card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Petal Pink Ink 3 times across the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Above The Clouds Fun Fold Card

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  Welcome to Fun Fold Friday.   I’ve made a Corner Flip Fun Fold card for you today.  Here’s my card.

My card today joined in with Global Design Project Theme Challenge #195.  I didn’t even see this challenge until after my card was done.  Here is their theme for the week.

I started with a Thick Whisper White card base.  After scoring it at the 4 1/4″ mark,  I slid the end of the card to the 3″ mark on my trimmer.  The 8 1/2″ side should be up against the bottom edge.  I placed the cutting blade at the 2 1/2″ mark and cut to the 4 7/8″ mark.  I then turned the card with the 5 1/2″ side against the bottom edge and placed the long edge at the 3″ mark.  I placed the cutting blade at the 3″ mark and cut to the 5/8″ mark.  I turned the cut edge, which is in the middle of the card front, in from the bottom and brought it up to the top and using my Bone Folder gave a good press on the folded edges.

After flipping the cut piece, I adhered a panel of Night of Navy of Navy and Mango Melody to the turned panel.  On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the cluster of clouds from the Stampin’  Up Above The Clouds Photopolymer Stamp Set in Seaside Spray Ink.  I then stamped the cluster of hot air balloons from the Above The Clouds stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink.  On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the 2 large hot air balloons from the Above The Clouds stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and punched them out using the Hot Air Balloon Punch.  I colored all the balloons in using my Call Me Clover, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Night of Navy, Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the artwork panel to the card front using Snail.  I adhered the 2 larger hot air balloons to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a scrap piece of Crumb Cake cardstock I stamped the balloon basket from the Above The Clouds stamp set in Soft Suede Ink twice and punched them out using the Hot Air Balloon Punch.  I adhered them using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional to the bottom of the larger balloons.

I stamped the clouds from the Above The Clouds stamp set all around the card base in Seaside Spray Ink stamping off once.  I stamped a couple of the birds from the Above The Clouds stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the card base.  On the bottom of the card base I stamped the sentiment from Above The Clouds stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss  Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool.  It[s very hard to see, but I also stamped a few of the smaller balloons from the Above The Clouds stamp set in VersaMark Ink on either side of the sentiment.  I sprinkled them with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool.

For the inside I took a panel of Night of Navy cardstock and using VersaMark Ink I stamped the smaller hot air balloons from the Above The Clouds stamp set all around.  I sprinkled the panel with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the Night of Navy panel to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a Whisper White panel, I stamped the sentiment from Above The Clouds stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center.  I stamped the clouds from the Above The Clouds stamp set around on the panel in Seaside Spray Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the small hot air balloons and the birds from the Above The Clouds stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the Whisper White panel.  I colored the balloons in the same as I did for the card front.  To adhered the Whisper White panel so that it doesn’t show when the card is closed, I placed it behind the folded card front and folded the card back to it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the clouds from Above The Clouds stamp set all around the front of the envelope and on the bottom of the envelope flap in Seaside Spray Ink stamping off once. I stamped the birds and the smaller hot air balloons from the Above The Clouds stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope flap and colored them in the same as I did for the card front.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you enjoyed today’s fun fold card and will give it a try.  I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Free As A Bird Friendship Card

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  Hope your week is progressing well.  We’re half way through the week and on the downhill to the weekend.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Free As A Bird Bundle.  When you purchase the Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies as a bundle you can save 10%.  Who else likes to save money?  Here’s my card.

I love layers and when I saw this sketch on Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #317 I knew exactly what I wanted to do.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the larger bird image from the Stampin’ Up Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the flowers from the Free As A Bird stamp set around the bird image.  I colored the bird and flowers in using my Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the 4th from the smallest Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I adhered the artwork to a Soft Suede mat, which I had cut out of the 5th Stitched Nested Labels Die, using Snail.

I took a Soft Suede card front and embossed it using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered a larger piece of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to a Pool Party mat using Snail then adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a smaller piece of the Bird Ballad DSP to a Petal Pink mat using Snail.  I wrapped a piece of the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread around the smaller matted DSP and tied a knot. I adhered a bow made from the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread using a Glue Dot.

I adhered the smaller matted DSP to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added 3 Pearl Basic Jewels to the bottom right of the larger matted DSP.  I adhered the card front to a Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the top and bottom corner of a Whisper White panel.  I colored the flowers and leaves in using my Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Free As A Bird stamp set in the center of the Whisper White panel in Soft Suede Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the larger bird image from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the front of the envelope and colored it in using my Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Bird Ballad DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!****************************************************************************************************

Stampin’ Up Lovely Is The Day

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  How was your week?  The weekend is upon us again, have you got any plans?  I’m working Saturday, but Sunday, Father’s Day, I have off.  The past couple years I’ve made my husband a Father’s Day brunch, but I’m not sure what we will be doing this year.

For today’s card I used another new bundle from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  It’s the Lovely Is The Day Bundle.  The images in this stamp set to me are very whimsical and the Dies that goes with it are so pretty.  The one I used only partially cuts out the image.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with Freshly Made Sketches challenge #392.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with Stamp Ink Paper challenge #201.  Here are their colors.

I started by adhering a panel of Sahara Sand Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the floral image from the Stampin’ Up Lovely Is The Day Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink.  I stamped the leaves from Lovely Is The Day stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink and colored the flowers in using my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Using the Lovely Leaves Die I cut the image out, which you can see only partially cuts the image.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely Is The Day stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink above the floral image.  I adhered the artwork to a Calypso Coral mat using Snail.

On the left side of the artwork I adhered 3 thin strips of cardstock, one Pretty Peacock, one Calypso Coral and one Sahara Sand, using a Glue Dot.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel on each one.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the floral image from Lovely Is The Day stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on the bottom of a Whisper White panel.  I colored the leaves in using my Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers and the flowers in using my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely Is The Day stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink above the floral image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Calypso Coral mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the floral image from the Lovely Is The Day stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink.  I colored it in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a panel of Sahara Sand Neutrals 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.   I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Happy Father’s Day to any fathers out there.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Smile

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How has you week been going?  The weekend is right around the corner.

I’ve used a few new items for today’s card.  I received my Stampin’ Up order from the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog yesterday and I couldn’t wait to play with my new items.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with  couple challenges today.  First off I played along with Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #339.  Here is their sketch.

Next I played along with Color Throwdown Challenge #546.  Here are their colors.

I started by embossing a Very Vanilla card front using the new Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a smaller panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I stamped the fern image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink, stamping off once, on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Calypso Coral mat using Snail.

I adhered a strip of the new Pretty Peacock Noble Peacock Foil Sheet to the right side of the matted artwork using Snail.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the medium daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Calypso Coral 3 times.  I punched the daisies out using the new Medium Daisy Punch.  I adhered the daisies together using Multipurpose Liquid glue, then adhered them to the artwork using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I added a few Night of Navy Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the top of the artwork and the center of the daisy.

On the inside I stamped the stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink, stamping off twice, on the left side of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the smaller daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink, stamping off once, on top of the stem.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Night of Navy Ink  over the top of the daisy.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Calypso Coral cad base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink on top of the stem.  I stamped the fern image from the Daisy Lane stamp set along the envelope flap, stamping off once.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
