Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Daisy Hello

Good Monday morning my stamping friends and Happy Memorial Day. I hope you can enjoy your day with family and friends getting together for a picnic or some fun activities. Please take a moment to remember all those who have served for us. We’ll be having a small picnic today with some friends and family. We’ll be celebrating my daughter and puppy’s birthday. My husband and a few of his friends will be walking into town to watch some of the Tour de Somerville bike races. This is a big thing here on Memorial Day in my town, hundreds of people come from all over the world to race in this. They start closing the streets in town at 3am to get set up. For 13 years I walked with my girl scouts in the parade at 8am that kicked everything off. They now start all the races at 8am starting with the family fun races. The big pro womans race starts at 2:15, having to ride 25 miles, and the pro men’s race starts at 3:45, having to ride 50 miles. It’s very exciting watching hundreds of riders starting the races and then how many are left at the end. From what I’ve heard there is a waiting list of contenders to get in on this. They have the award ceremony around 6pm that wraps everything up, with winners from both the pro womans and pro men’s races.

Today’s card is a sketch challenge from my Upline Jaimie. She’s been giving us a sketch a week to work with. I’m really liking this quick and easy one. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Sending Smiles Panel 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper and Designer Tags Dies for my card today.

This is our sketch for this week.

Stampin' Up! Sending Smiles Panel 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to a Lemon Lolly mat using Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the sentiment from Sending Smiles stamp set in Versamark Ink on the bottom of the panel. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool.

Stampin' Up! Sending Smiles Panel 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered 3 panels of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to 3 Lemon Lolly mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the 3 layered panels to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I wrapped a piece of Lemon Lolly 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon from the Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack around the layered panel and tied a bow.

Stampin' Up! Sending Smiles Panel 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the layered panel to a Pebbled Path card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the Designer Tags Dies, I cut a butterfly from a panel of Lemon Lolly cardstock. I adhered the butterfly to the card front using Glue Dots. I added a couple 2023-2025 In-Color Dots to the butterfly. I added a few Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Sending Smiles Panel 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Sending Smiles stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the larger stem from the Sending Smiles stamp set in Garden Green Ink on the side of the panel. I stamped the daisy image from the Sending Smiles stamp set in Lemon Lolly Ink on the stem. I stamped the flower center in Wild Wheat Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Lemon Lolly mat then to the inside of the Pebbled Path card base.

Stampin' Up! Sending Smiles Panel 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the stem image from the Sending Smiles stamp set in Garden Green Ink on the envelop front. I stamped the daisy on the stem in Lemon Lolly Ink and the flower center in Wild Wheat Ink. I adhered a panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to the envelope flap.

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies CAS

Good Monday morning my stamping friends welcome to a new week. What did everyone do this weekend? I can’t believe it’s nearing the end of May already. The end of this week my puppy Coraline will be 1. I have something special for her on Friday, but we will be celebrating her birthday on Memorial Day with my daughter’s birthday.

I have a CAS card for you today. My upline Jaimie has been giving us sketch challenges each week to do. I went a little out of order so I did #2 this week and I believe I did #3 last week. This is my take on the sketch, I turned it for a different look.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies CAS 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper for my card today.

This was our week 2 sketch.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies CAS 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to a Copper Clay mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a strip of the Fresh As A Daisy DSP to the left side of the layered panel. I adhered the layered panel to the Boho Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies CAS 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Copper Clay Ink.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies CAS 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I folded a strip of Vellum Basics Paper into a banner and cut the ends using my Paper Snips. I adhered the vellum banner to the card front using Glue Dots. I adhered the sentiment over the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies CAS 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Copper Clay Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the stem, leaf and medium daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Versamark Ink next to the sentiment. It is very hard to see in the photo. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I stamped the daisy center in Copper Clay Ink on the embossed daisy. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Copper Clay mat then to the inside of the Boho Blue card base.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies CAS 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the small cluster of daisies from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Versamark Ink on the envelope front. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I adhered a panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Desert Details for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my fun fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Is anyone making plans for the weekend yet? It’s supposed to be a rainy one here. We’ll see what happens.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here is my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Desert Details Fun Fold 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the retiring Stampin’ Up! Desert Details Bundle along with the retiring Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper and the Dry Brushed Metallic Paper for my card today. The Dry Brushed Metallic Paper will still be available as an Online Exclusive product after May 1st. The bundle and DSP will only be available until May 1st.

Stampin' Up! Desert Details Fun Fold 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by scoring and folding a Basic White card base as listed below. I adhered 2 panels of the Delicate Desert DSP to the front panels of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Desert Details Fun Fold 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered 2 panels of Delicate Desert DSP to 2 Cajun Craze mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the larger layered panel to the left side of the card front using Stampin’ Seal +. I adhered the smaller layered panel to the right side of the card front, centering it with the larger pane, using Stampin’ Seal +.

Stampin' Up! Desert Details Fun Fold 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Delicate Desert DSP, I stamped the larger flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Desert Details Cling Stamp Set in Gray Granite Ink. I stamped the smaller flower image from the Desert Details stamp set in Gray Granite Ink 2 times. I cut the flowers out using the Desert Details Dies. From a panel of Dry Brushed Metallic paper, I cut 4 of the aloe or spikey dies (I’m not sure what that plant is called) from the Desert Details Dies. On a strip of Cajun Craze cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Desert Details stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I adhered the sentiment to the right layered panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered 3 of the die cut pieces above the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the larger flower using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the smaller flowers using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Gold Faceted Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Desert Details Fun Fold 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I adhered a panel of Delicate Desert DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Desert Details stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered another one of the Dry Brushed Metallic dies to the panel. I adhered a large and small flower I had stamped on a panel of Delicate Desert DSP in Gray Granite Ink and cut out using the Desert Details Dies on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Cajun Craze mat then to the inside of the card base.

Stampin' Up! Desert Details Fun Fold 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the larger flower from the Desert Details stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Delicate Desert DSP to the envelope flap.

The 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and the January-April Mini Catalog both end on Monday May 1st. So if you haven’t gotten those retiring items, you might want to grab them before they are gone. The 2023-2024 Annual Catalog goes live on Tuesday May 2nd. You have less than a week to sign up for my Designer Series Paper Share. My share closes on Sunday April 30th at 5pm. Here’s the information on my share.

Today’s card is a bundle coming in the new catalog. I played with it last week and had to play with it again. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Lazy Days 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days Bundle (available May 2nd) along with the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper (available May 2nd) for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Lazy Days 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by stamping the floor image from the Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pecan Pie Ink (available May 2nd) on the bottom front or a Thick Basic White card base. Using the Lazy Days Dies, I cut the trellis and 3 railing dies from a panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the die cut pieces to a panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I trimmed off the excess using my Paper Snips. I adhered the panel to the front of the Thick Basic White card base using Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin' Up! Lazy Days 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the panel of Basic White, I stamped the rocking chair and table images from the Lazy Days stamp set in Gray Granite Ink. I stamped the hanging plant image from the Lazy Days stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the images out using the Lazy Days Dies. I colored the glasses on the table using Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers (available May 2nd). I colored the planter using Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the hanging plant leaves from the Lazy Days Dies, 2 from Granny Apple Green and 1 from Garden Green. I adhered the rocking chair and table to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the hanging plant using Glue Dots and the leaves Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Lazy Days 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Lazy Days stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. I adhered the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Lazy Days 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Lazy Days stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the chair from the Lazy Days stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Gray Granite Ink. I stamped the hanging plant on the top of the panel in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to an Azure Afternoon mat then to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base.

Stampin' Up! Lazy Days 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the chair and table from the Lazy Days stamp set on the envelope front in Gray Granite Ink. I stamped the hanging plant on the envelope flap in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images using my Lemon Lolly, Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stampin' Up! Lazy Days 7 creativestampingdesigns.com

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like the card and maybe this is one of the bundles on your wish list. It’s a lot of fun to play with and make some awesome scenes. Happy Stamping!!

MY CURRENT HOST CODE IS:    XMVFTAU4

Use this host code when placing an order with me. When you order $50 or greater you will receive a free gift from me! If your order is over $150, please do not use this code, but you’ll still get the free gift. The free gift is your choice of any 1 item valued up to $10.00 from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog or the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog!  Unfortunately, packs of cardstock are no longer an option for a free gift. Shipping has become too expensive to ship and it’s costing me as much to ship as the cardstock costs. For any orders $50 or more I will also send you my monthly class tutorials.  Click HERE or go to my Customer Rewards for more details and to see what this month’s tutorials are.

Please remember to use my current Host Code and make sure that you can see my name on the final checkout page listed as your Demonstrator when you order so that you know that you’re ordering with me, and you’ll get my rewards!

Happy Stamping, Karen

*********************************************************************************************************

Crafting With You

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. I hope your weekend is going as planned. I’m off today, but I’m not sure yet what I’ll be doing. I may tackle another one of my gardens if it’s nice enough out.

Today I played with another bundle that will be coming in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. This one I had a lot of fun playing with. There are images and dies for things I use every day to make my cards along with other crafting items. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You Bundle along with the new Bright & Beautiful 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and some of the new colors coming soon. All the items used for today’s card will be available starting May 2nd from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to a Lemon Lime Twist mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered another panel of the Bright & Beautiful DSP to a Lemon Lime Twist mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the smaller layered panel to the larger layered panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front panel to a Berry Burst card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the 3rd largest die from the Scalloped Contours Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the right side. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine image from the Crafting With You stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink. I cut the image out using the Crafting With You Dies.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

Using the Crafting With You Dies, I cut the paper trimmer and ruler from a panel of Gray Granite cardstock. I cut the scissors from a panel of Silver Foil and Basic Black cardstock. I snipped the scissor handles off the Basic Black die and adhered them to the Silver Foil die using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I put the scissors together using a Glue Dot. I added a Festive Pearl in the center of the scissors. I fed a piece of Bright & Beautiful DSP through the trimmer. I adhered the cutting blade die to the trimmer using a Glue Dot. I adhered the ruler die to the trimmer die using a Glue Dot. I adhered all the die cut images to the sentiment panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sentiment panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a piece of the Lemon Lime Twist 1/8″ Ribbon from the Ribbon Combo Duo to the top of the panel using a Glue Dot. I added a few Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Crafting With You stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a strip of the Bright & Beautiful DSP to the side of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Lemon Lime Twist mat then to the inside of the Berry Burst card base.

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Friendship

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? We had our team meeting yesterday then I got to spend some time stamping. I did go outside in the morning to trim a couple bushes that were bothering me.

I have a speedy quick card for you today using new products. I let the DSP do most of the work for me. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Friendship 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper and a new In-Color, Wild Wheat.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Friendship 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of the Fresh As A Daisy DSP to an Early Espresso mat using Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Friendship 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I wrapped a piece of White Bakers Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack around the layered panel twice and tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to a Wild Wheat card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Friendship 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a strip of Early Espresso cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the sentiment over the baker’s twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies and a Dragonfly Trinket to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Friendship 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the half daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set on either side of the sentiment in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the flower centers in Early Espresso Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to an Early Espresso mat then to the inside of the Wild Wheat card base.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Friendship 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the half daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on the envelope front and flap. I stamped the stem and flower center images from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the daisies.

In The Moment

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? We had the rain and thunderstorms they predicted yesterday and today is supposed to be beautiful. We have our monthly virtual team meeting which is always fun. Our team is made up of demonstrators from all over the US.

I pulled out an older set to play with today, and I’m happy that it’ll be carrying over to the new catalog. I love sketched stamp sets. I also used 2 of my absolute favorite colors that are staying, Petal Pink and Pool Party. Subtle Color Family is my favorite, what’s yours? Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! In The Moment 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Waves Of Inspiration Cling Stamp Set and By The Bay 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Stampin' Up! In The Moment 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by cutting a panel of By The Bay DSP in half on an angle. I adhered the 2 triangles to a Petal Pink panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Pool Party card base using Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin' Up! In The Moment 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the image from In The Moment stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink (available May 2nd). I colored the image using Crumb Cake, Medium Light, Pecan Pie, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the artwork to a Pool Party mat using Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin' Up! In The Moment 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few soon to retire Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

Stampin' Up! In The Moment 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment and bird image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a strip of By The Bay DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink mat then to the inside of the Pool Party card base.

Stampin' Up! In The Moment 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the By The Bay DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap. I stamped the bird image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink on the envelope front.

Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms Fun Fold

Good Monday morning my stamping friends, HAPPY SPRING!!! Living in NJ we’ll probably get a snowstorm next week now since we didn’t really have snow all winter LOL. How was everyone’s weekend? Hope you were able to spend some time for yourself.

Today’s card is one that we made at out quarterly team meeting last Sunday. This one was designed by one of my team member, Carol Buckalew. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Irresistible Blooms Fun Fold 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms Bundle along with the Hello Irresistible 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card. Some of the items used are unavailable at this time but should be back in stock by the middle of April or beginning of May.

Stampin' Up! Irresistible Blooms Fun Fold 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Hello Irresistible DSP to the front of a Flirty Flamingo card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Irresistible Blooms Fun Fold 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I cut the flowers and leaves from the Hello Irresistible DSP using the Irresistible Blooms Dies.

Stampin' Up! Irresistible Blooms Fun Fold 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms Cling Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo Ink to the right side of a strip of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a piece of White 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon to the sentiment using a little Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the flowers to the left side of the card front over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the leaves under the flowers using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added some Loose Frosted Dots to the flowers and card front.

Stampin' Up! Irresistible Blooms Fun Fold 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I adhered 2 panels of Hello Irresistible DSP to either side of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the smaller panels of Hello Irresistible DSP to the narrow panel of cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a couple more of the die cut flowers from the Hello Irresistible DSP to the inside panels using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the leaves under the flowers. On a small panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink. I stamped a couple of the leaves from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set on the panel in Mint Macaron Ink. I adhered the Basic white panel to the right side of the narrow strip using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. To adhere the narrow strip, I adhered the right-side first using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the back of the left side and closed the card base onto it.

Stampin' Up! Irresistible Blooms Fun Fold 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower images from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set on the envelope front. I stamped the leaves from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink by the flowers. I adhered a panel of Hello Irresistible DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Here we are halfway through the week already. I hope your week is going well.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. It’s the second challenge of the month, we are posting two challenge photos!  You can choose whichever photo you prefer, or you could create two separate cards, one for each photo! The inspiration photo #191a is Signs of Spring and #191b is Butterfly Blues.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

Stampin' Up! Nested Friends 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes Photopolymer Stamp Set, Basics 3D Embossing Folder and Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my Clean and Layered Card. I was inspired by the inspiration photo #191a by the colors and the eggs in the photo.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concepts and join us for our challenge 191a or 191b.  How are you inspired by the photos?

Stampin' Up! Nested Friends 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering 2 strips of Neutrals DSP to the top and bottom of a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the branch image from the Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the image using my Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the center of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the nest and bird from the Nested Friends stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the nest using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers and the bird using Crumb Cake and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using the Nested Friends Dies. I stamped the splotch image from the Nested Friends stamp set in So Saffron Ink on a panel of So Saffron cardstock. Using the Nested Friends Dies, I cut the eggs from the panel of So Saffron and the leaves from a panel of Granny Apple Green cardstock. I adhered the nest to the branch using Stampin’ Dimensionals, the eggs and bird to the nest using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. I cut the end of the strip using the Happy Label Pick A Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Enamel Dot Essentials to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Nested Friends stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a strip of Neutrals DSP to the bottom of the panel. I stamped the bird from the Nested Friends stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a So Saffron mat then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base.

MY CURRENT HOST CODE IS:    7KF3QB4G

Butterfly Brilliance Hello

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. It’s been cold and breezy here, but it says it’s supposed to be a little warmer today. We’ll see. I’ll be at the dog bakery all afternoon hopefully giving those good puppies treats.

Today’s card is one that we will be making at my card class this coming Tuesday. I don’t think I’ve made any cards using the Polished Pink cardstock. I’ve used it for a mat, but not the main card. So, this was a little out of my comfort zone, but I was happy with the results. I did change the colors for the ladies to use on Tuesday. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance Hello 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Cling Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings Cling Stamp Set along with the Scalloped Contours Dies, Brilliant Wings Dies and Stitched With Whimsy Dies for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance Hello 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by using the Stitched With Whimsy Die on a Polished Pink card front and running it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered the card front to a Polished Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a panel of Basic Black cardstock using the Scalloped Contours Dies. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I used my Polished Pink Stampin’ Write Marker and flicked color over the panel. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to the Basic Black scalloped mat using Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance Hello 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the butterfly image from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set in Polished Pink Ink. I cut the image using the Brilliant Wings Dies. Using the Brilliant Wings Dies, I cut the coordinating detail butterfly from a panel of Polished Pink cardstock. I adhered the detailed butterfly to the Basic White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the stamped butterfly over the detailed using Stampin’ Dimensionals and fluffed the wings.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance Hello 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink next to the butterfly. I adhered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added 3 Black Matte Dots to the butterfly body and a couple 2021-2023 In-Color Opal Rounds to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance Hello 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from Go To Greetings stamp set on a panel of Basic White in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the butterfly image from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set in Polished Pink Ink on either side of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Polished Pink mat then to the inside of the Polished Pink card base.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance Hello 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the butterfly image from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set on the envelope front and flap in Polished Pink Ink.
