Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  We ended up having a beautiful weekend here.  No rain, except for when we were sleeping, YAY.  Looks like spring might finally be here.

For today’s card I’m giving you a little sneak peek of a new stamp set coming in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  It’s the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set.  It coordinates with the Stampin’ Up Daisy Delight Stamp Set that we already have and uses the same Daisy Punch for both.  Here’s my card.

I’ve joined in with the Color Throwdown Color Challenge #543.  Here are their colors.

I’ve also joined in with the CAS Colours & Sketches Sketch Challenge #321.  I have to admit, this sketch was a real challenge for me.  Here is their sketch.

I started with a Basic Gray card front and ran it through my Big Shot using the Subtles Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to give the background a little texture.  I adhered it to a Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I took a piece of Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and cut it on a diagonal from corner to corner and then turned it slightly in my Paper Trimmer and cut it again from corner to corner.  I did the same thing with a piece of Pool Party cardstock.  I adhered the long triangular cuts of DSP to the same Pool Party mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue so that I would have a little wiggle room to center it properly.  I adhered the 2 matted triangles to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue having the smallest part of the triangles meet.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped 3 of the larger daisies from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pool Party Ink.  I punched them out using the Daisy Punch.  I arranged the daisies on top of one another meeting in the center and adhered them using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the daisy to the center of the triangles using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink and immediately sprinkled it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder then I heat set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using my Big Shot and the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.  I edged the oval using my Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker and adhered it just under the daisy on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I colored a few Pearl Basic Jewels using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered them to the center of the daisy.

On the inside I stamped the stem image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink, stamping off 3 times to get a very light image, on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped another one of the daisy images from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pool Party Ink, stamping off twice, on top of the stem.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink on top of the floral image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Basic Gray mat using Snail and then adhered it to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink and one of the daisy images from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a piece of the Neutrals 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  The Daisy Lane Stamp Set will be available June 4th along with lots of other beautiful new stamp sets from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Floral Essence Sneak Peek

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  Well the weekend is here ready or not.  Has anyone made any fun plans?  I’m really hoping, in between working, to supervise getting some of my flowers in the ground.  I’m still with 1 arm and can’t seem to get the digging down properly yet.  I’ve mastered quite a bit 1 handed, most importantly card making.

So I have a little sneak peek for you today.  I’ve used a new stamp set coming in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  If you don’t have a demonstrator and would like a catalog, drop me a line and I’d be happy to send one out to you.  Here’s my card for today.

I’ve used a tiny bit of old and a whole lot of new on my card.  I’ve also played along with Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge #314.  Here’s their sketch.

I started with a panel of the soon to retire Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered a panel of the gorgeous new Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to a mat of Blueberry Bushel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted DSP to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel Ink to the left of the matted DSP.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flower from the new Stampin’ Up Floral Essence Photopolymer Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel Ink.  I stamped the inside of the flowers in Crushed Curry Ink.  I stamped the leaf images from the same stamp set in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive Inks.  I colored the flowers in using my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the leaf image in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I fussy cut the flowers and the smaller leaf image out using my Paper Snips.  I punched the larger leaf image out using my Leaf Punch.  I arranged the flowers and leaves how I liked them on the card front and adhered them with Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped a couple flowers from the Floral Essence stamp set on the bottom corner of a Whisper White panel in Blueberry Bushel Ink using the masking technique.  I stamped the leaves from the same stamp set in Old Olive Ink and the flower centers in Crushed Curry Ink.  I colored the flowers in using my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers and the leaves in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flowers from the Floral Essence stamp set on the envelope front and colored them in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a panel of the Perennial Essence DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card.  These products will be available on June 4th if you are interested in them.  It’s truly a beautiful suite.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Love What You Do

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s week going?  We finally have a couple days without rain.  As of Tuesday my husband was telling me it rained 27 of the past 29 days.  We really need to dry up a little around here.

For today’s card I’ve made a pretty quick and easy one.  I used the soon to retire How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with a couple challenges with my card today.  First off is Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge #316.  Here’s their sketch.

Next is the Global Design Project Color Challenge #189.  Here are their colors.

I started with a Gorgeous Grape card front and adhered a panel of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper, which will be retired as of June 3rd, to it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered a strip of Pineapple Punch cardstock to a mat of Gorgeous Grape cardstock using Snail.  I adhered the matted strip to the center of the card front using Snail.  I wrapped a piece of Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon (retiring as of June 3rd) around the matted strip and the card front and secured it in the back using Snail.  I adhered the card front to a Coastal Cabana card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up Love What You Do Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the flowers in using my Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using my Big Shot and the circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a scalloped circle out of Gorgeous Grape card stock using the Layering Circles Dies.  I adhered the stitched circle to the scalloped circle using Snail and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Big Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I made a banner of the sentiment strip and adhered it to the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a couple of the Glitter Enamel Dots to the banner.

On the inside I stamped the flower image from the Love What You Do stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom corners of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped them with the small watermark stamp from the same stamp set in Pineapple Punch Ink.  I stamped the large watermark image from the same stamp set in Pineapple Punch Ink in the center of the panel stamping off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the A Big Thank You stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the watermark.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Gorgeous Grape mat using Snail, then adhered it to the inside of the Coastal Cabana card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flowers from the Love What You Do stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and back.  I used the small watermark stamp from the same stamp set to color them in with Pineapple Punch Ink.  I adhered a panel of the How Sweet It Is DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Lift Me Up CAS

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  Were you able to hop around yesterday for the Blog Hop?  If not, be sure to go back and check out everyone’s awesome projects.

For today’s card I made a Father’s Day card with one of the retiring stamp set.  Here’s my card.

I played along with the Sunday Stamps challenge #204.  Here is their sketch.

I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the large and small hot air balloons from the Stampin’ Up Lift Me Up Stamp Set in Blushing Bride, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy and Poppy Parade Inks.  I did the Masking Technique when stamping the balloons so that it looked like some were in the background.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lift Me Up stamp set below the balloons in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped a few of the clouds from the same stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink stamping off once around the balloons.

I adhered the artwork to a Silver Foil Sheet using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to a Night of Navy card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the large hot air balloon from the Lift Me Up stamp set in Night of Navy Ink stamping foo multiple times until I got the light image that I wanted.  I stamped the clouds from the same stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink again stamping off multiple times until I got the light shade that I wanted.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink inside the hot air balloon.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Poppy Parade mat using Snail then I adhered it to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I stamped a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the larger hot air balloons from the Lift Me Up stamp set on the envelope front in Night of Navy and Poppy Parade Inks.  I stamped the smaller hot air balloons from the same stamp set on the envelope flap in the same color inks.  I used the masking technique the same as I did for the card.  I stamped a few clouds from the same stamp set on the envelope front and flap in Smoky Slate Ink.

The Lift Me Up stamp set along with the matching Up & Away Thinlits will be retiring as of June 3rd.  This is such a fun set, I’m sorry to see it go.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping.

Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Sneak Peek for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and that means it’s time for another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some awesome projects. This month our theme is ‘MASCULINE’. We can interpret this any way we would like to. If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects. If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.

For today’s card I have a little sneak peek for you along with a Fun Fold card.  I used the Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Stamp Set, the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack and one of the new 2019-2021 In-Colors Seaside Spray, all which will be available June 4th.  I really struggle with masculine cards, but I had so much fun with this one.  The Sailing Home Suite makes it really easy to make a masculine card.  Here’s my card.

I started with the new 2019-2021 In-Color, Seaside Spray cardstock and scored it at 2 3/4″ and 8 1/4″ to make a gate fold card.

On the 2 sides I adhered a panel of the new Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I made a little collage for the overlapping panel.  I stamped 2 of the Whisper White panels with the sailboat image and sentiment from the new Sailing Home stamp set in Night Of Navy Ink.  I adhered the anchor and banner stickers, that come in the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack, on the 2 smaller panels.  I sponged all the panels using my Stamping Sponge and Sahara Sand Ink.  I then adhered all the pieces to a panel of Night Of Navy cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue so that I had a little wiggle room.  I adhered the collaged panel to one side of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a knot using the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine and adhered it to the artwork using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up High Tide Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the water from the same set on the bottom of the panel in Seaside Spray Ink.  I stamped the lighthouse from the Sailing Home stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink and the birds from the same stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then adhered it to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the front of the envelope similar to the inside of the card adding the sailboat from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I adhered a panel of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card, this was a lot of fun to make.  The Come Sail Away Suite made it so easy.  If you like the items I used, they will be available June 4th.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Retirement List Clarification

It looks like every single stamp set from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog is being retired and that isn’t the case, the carryover sets are being transitioned to Cling Mount.

The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).

If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog!  All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.

Stampin’ Up Well Written for CAS On Friday Challenge

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Were all  mothers treated like queens?

For today’s card I’ve made a wedding card. I joined in with a challenge that was a real challenge for me.  I think this was one of the hardest ones for me to do, but I was determined to come up with a design that would work.  Here’s my card.

The challenge was from CAS On Friday challenge #157.  Their challenge was White on White.  I don’t usually do cards like this, but I was pretty happy with the results.  I started with a panel of Shimmery White cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  From another piece of Shimmer White cardstock I cut out the butterflies, floral design and words using the Well Written Framelits Dies.

I started by adhering the words to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the 2 butterflies on the top right and the floral cut out on the bottom all using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added some Pearl Basic Jewels to the butterflies and the flowers.

I adhered the card front to a Shimmery White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the large floral image from the Stampin’ Up Wonderful Romance Stamp Set, (which will be retiring as of June 3rd), in Soft Sea Foam Ink stamping off twice to get a real light image.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the floral image in the center of the Shimmery White panel.  I adhered the Shimmer White panel to the inside of the Shimmery White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the floral image from the Wonderful Romance stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a piece of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

The Well Said Bundle has so many great sayings and dies.  If you are considering getting this set, purchase it before June 3rd to receive the 10% discount.  It will be carried over to the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, but will have to be purchased individually and you will not receive the discount.  The Wonderful Romance stamp set used and the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper used will be retired as of June 3rd, so if these are something you have been wanting, get them while you still can.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Sitting Here

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s week?  Are you ready for the weekend?  Sunday’s mother’s day, I hope all of you that are mothers are gong to be treated to something nice.  This includes mothers for children and animals, if it wasn’t for you they wouldn’t be taken care of and it’s your turn to be treated.  I have to work, so who knows what I will come home to.

For today’s card I’ve used a set that will be retiring as of June 3rd, it’s the Stampin’ Up Sitting Here Stamp Set.  This is actually a very quick and easy card.  Take a look.  Doesn’t the puppy look nice and cozy curled up with the pillows?

I played along with the Color Throwdown challenge # 542.  Here are their colors.

I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the swing, the bird and the flower pot images from the Sitting Here stamp set in Soft Suede Ink.  I stamped the grass image from the same stamp set along the bottom of the panel in Granny Apple Green Ink.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the 3 pillows in Soft Suede Ink and on a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock I stamped the dog image in Soft Suede Ink.

I colored in the swing using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the cushion on the swing with my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the flowerpot, flowers and pillows in using my Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Wood Textures Designer Series Paper mat using Snail, adhering it to the top of the panel.  I adhered the matted card front to a Balmy Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Sitting Here stamp set in Soft Suede Ink.  I fussy cut the pillows and dog out using my Paper Snips. I adhered the pillows and the dog to the swing image using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the sentiment to the top of the swing using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Sitting Here stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I adhered a strip of the Wood Textures DSP to the bottom of the Whisper White panel.  I stamped the dog and flowerpot from the same stamp set in Soft Suede Ink and colored them in using my Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Balmy Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the dog and flowerpot image from the Sitting Here stamp set in Soft Suede Ink and colored them in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a piece of Wood Textures DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

If you are interested in this stamp set of the Wood Textures DSP, they will be retiring as of June 3rd.  Get them before they are gone.
