Stampin’ Up! Bottled Happiness Shaker Card

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? We had our quarterly team meeting yesterday and made some beautiful cards. I’ll be showing them in the next week or so. I was so happy to leave my town yesterday. I dropped my daughter off at work yesterday 2 hours before the parade was going to start and the parking lots were packed and there were people everywhere. There were bagpipers walking down the street getting ready, rescue trucks lining up along with scouts, 4-H clubs, school bands and many more. I walked 13 years in the parade with my girl scouts. My daughter said that the parade was over 2 1/2 hours long.

Today I made a shaker card for you. My card is CASE’d from my team leader Amy, but I did change a couple things. I’m having fun with these shaker cards, and I have some other ideas that I’m playing with to make more. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Bottled Happiness Shaker 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Bottled Happiness Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea Photopolymer Stamp Set and Butterfly Kisses 6 X 6 Designer Series paper for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Bottled Happiness Shaker 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Butterfly Kisses DSP to a Parakeet Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Using the Vintage Bottle Punch, I punched out the bottle from a panel of Basic Whtie cardstock. I centered the punch on the panel pushing the cardstock all the way in on the punch. I stamped the flower image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set in Fresh Freesia Ink above the bottle opening. I stamped the leaf image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink over the flower image lining up the flower centers. I cut the panel using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I embossed a panel of Gray Granite cardstock using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. I put the strip of cardstock into the Vintage Bottle Punch putting it all the way to the bottom of the punch and punched out the bottom of the bottle. I adhered the strip of cardstock to the bottom of the Basic White panel lining up the bottom of the bottle. I trimmed off the excess using my Paper Snips. I adhered the Vintage Bottle Shaker Dome to the back of the Basic White panel so that it popped through the opening. I filled the bottle with Effervescent Elements small amounts at a time, so they didn’t go all over. I removed the adhesive from the back of the bottle and adhered a panel of By The Bay 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the back of the bottle (I used a piece that looked like water).

I adhered the panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Bottled Happiness stamp set in Orchid Oasis Ink next to the bottle. I tied a small bow using the Orchid Oasis 1/8″ Metallic Ribbon and adhered it to the bottle using a Glue Dot. I added a few 2022-2024 In-Color Matte Decorative Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Orchid Oasis Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the flower image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Fresh Freesia Ink. I stamped the leaf image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink over the flower image. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Fresh Freesia mat then to the inside of the Parakeet Party card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set in Fresh Freesia Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the leaf image over the flower image in Parakeet Party Ink. I adhered a panel of Butterfly Kisses DSP to the envelope flap.

MY CURRENT HOST CODE IS:    7KF3QB4G

Use this host code when placing an order with me. When you order $50 or greater you will receive a free gift from me! If your order is over $150, please do not use this code, but you’ll still get the free gift. The free gift is your choice of any 1 item valued up to $10.00 from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog or the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog!  Unfortunately, packs of cardstock are no longer an option for a free gift. Shipping has become too expensive to ship and it’s costing me as much to ship as the cardstock costs. For any orders $50 or more I will also send you my monthly class tutorials.  Click HERE or go to my Customer Rewards for more details and to see what this month’s tutorials are.

Please remember to use my current Host Code and make sure that you can see my name on the final checkout page listed as your Demonstrator when you order so that you know that you’re ordering with me, and you’ll get my rewards!

Happy Stamping, Karen

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month so that means Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. If you’ve hopped over from Akiko’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays”. We can interpret this however we want.  Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Snowman Magic Shaker 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Magic Bundle along with the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper for my shaker card today. This was the 1st time I made a shaker card, and it won’t be the last. They are a lot of fun to make.

Stampin' Up! Snowman Magic Shaker 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Storybook Gnomes DSP to a Mint Macaron card base. I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the snowflake frame die from the Snowman Dies. I cut a panel of White Glimmer Paper from the Red & White 6 X 6 Glimmer Paper using the Basic Borders Dies. I adhered the panel to the back of the snowflake frame using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a Window Sheet to the back of the frame using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered Adhesive Foam Strips all around the frame. I placed Sparkle & Shine Sequins Assortment in the center of the card and place the frame over it.

Stampin' Up! Snowman Magic Shaker 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the snowman image twice from the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Magic Photopolymer Stamp Set and the bunny image in Smoky Slate Ink. I stamped the snowman faces on the snowmen in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored the carrot using my Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the branch arm images 4 times in Soft Suede Ink. I stamped the hat and scarf images in Fresh Freesia Ink. I stamped the top hat and bow tie images in Starry Sky Ink. I stamped the bird image in Cherry Cobbler Ink. I cut all the images out using the Snowman Dies. I cut the 2 trees from a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock using the Snowman Dies and the 5 snowflakes from a panel of Silver Foil Paper. I adhered all the pieces together using Glue Dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the pieces to the card front using Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Snowman Magic Shaker 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Magic stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink. I cut the ends on an angle using my Paper Snips and adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Snowman Magic Shaker 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Magic stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I sprinkled the sentiment with my Silver Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the bottom of the panel using the Basic Borders Dies. I stamped the images from the Snowman Magic stamp set the same as I did of the card front on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Mint Macaron mat then to the inside of the Mint Macaron card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the images from the Snowman Magic stamp set the same as I did of the card front on the bottom of the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Storybook Gnomes DSP to the envelope flap.
