Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. I hope your week has started off well. I’m having a great time in TN with my friend Judi and her husband Paul. We’re having fun creating together and just spending time chatting.

Before I get going, I’ve been getting emails from some who have signed up for my shares. I just wanted to let you all know that they were mailed out Thursday Sept 10 by 4pm ET either UPS or USPS. I’ve tracked most of them and I know a lot have been delivered. Just remember it is the mail delivering them and some may take longer than others to get to you, though you should all have them by now

Well, our 2026 retreat is in the books and already can’t wait to get together with everyone again. I thought I’d share some photos from the retreat today with you. We had such a wonderful time laughing till our sides ached and tears rolled down our faces.

Here’s the craft area we get to work in. Look at the amazing lighting that James installed since last year. None of us had to use our desk lights to see this year. I think one of the things I like the most is the socializing with everyone and making the cards they designed. I got to play with sets that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to purchase, of course now I want them all.

We were all hard at work creating along with doing a lot of chatting.

This is Poe, one of James’ pups.

And this one is Cooper the other pup that was there with us.

Our first night’s dinner was a delicious Beef Lasagna, veggies and garlic bread.

In the morning James made his amazing Blueberry French Toast bake and this year he added a crumble topping on it.

Friday night he made a delicious Pork Loin with Apple-Cranberry Chutney, Lemon Garlic Grilled Zucchini, Mushroom & Spinach Risotto and 2 pans of his famous Carrot Souffle.

Saturday afternoon we celebrated Mary Deatherage, the one who coordinates this whole event, for her MILLION Dollars in Sales Achievement.

Her team had been arranging this whole thing for months leading up to the retreat knowing she would reach it by then.

Of course we needed our group picture at the end.

We had a great group of cards to make. These beautiful fall and birthday cards were designed by Judi, Karen F, Amy and Becky.

These Christmas cards were designed by Janet, Charlene, Mary (a gift card holder YAY) and Tara. I got to work on other projects while I was there also.

Virtual Card Retreat – October 1 & 2 – Now Available to Order

Sharing More Beautiful Christmas Cards

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend!! What kind of plans do you have for the weekend? I’ll be at work all day today. I have a feeling we’re going to sell out of salt today. We were supposed to have a snowstorm yesterday into today, unfortunately it started with sleet which just put a coating of ice everywhere.

I have more cards to share with you today from more team members. I am part of such a talented team.

This beautiful ornament card was made by my friend and team member Donna. I love the touch or sparkle and that dove sends off peace vibes.

This beauty was made by my friend and team member Wendy. It’s a sliding gift card holder that slides up when you open it.

This gorgeous card was made by my friend and team member Jeanie. That embossing folder is just gorgeous used with that DSP.

This absolutely stunning fun fold card was made by my friend and team member Charlene. Those touches of gold are stunning against the Real Red.

This adorable fun fold card was made by my friend and team member Michele. That little elf is just too cute popping out from behind the trees. Perfect background DSP too.

This amazing card was made by my friend and team member Tammy. I love how she stamped on the glimmer paper and popped up the gold ornaments.

This gorgeous card was made by my friend, team member and roommate Judi. On =e of my favorite colors, Pretty Peacock and I love how it was made with the Party Banners Dies.

This beautiful card was made by my friend and team member Linda. LOVE Cherry Cobbler and Gold and this card just pops with the gold poinsettia.

This awesome card was made by my team member and friend Christine. I love how she placed those trees in the snow and the trees have a velvety texture to them.

Sharing Some Beautiful Christmas Cards

Good Friday afternoon stamping friends. How was your Christmas? Ours was very quiet and enjoyable. My son and his fiancé come over Christmas Eve for dinner and to exchange gifts. They came back over on Christmas day to open stockings together. My daughter came home Christmas morning (she’s away dog sitting this week) for our traditional Christmas morning gift opening and Popovers. She headed back to spend time with the pup she’s staying with for a couple hours, then came back for Christmas dinner. Does anyone go out for the after Christmas sales today? I’ll be staying in to finish up a couple gifts that I started and waiting for the snowstorm to start.

For the next couple day’s I’ll be sharing some beautiful Christmas cards that I received in the mail over the past few weeks. I’m so blessed to have so many stamping friends that send cards.

This beautiful card is from my friend and team member Terry Lynn. I just love that DSP and the colors.

This adorable gingerbread man card is from my team member and friend Theresa. She had me for our ornament exchange and made me this cute card that slides open breaking the gingerbread man’s leg off.

This gorgeous card is from my friend and team member Ranese. I love the peppermint ornaments on the tree, and Cherry Cobbler and Basic Beige are one of my favorite color combos.

This cute penguin snow globe fun fold card is from my friend and team member Rosie. Right after I got her card in the mail, we had snow. I think she wished it on us.

This stunning card is from my friend and team member Kathy B. Love, Love, Love that die cut, the DSP she used and that little tree is just too cute.

This beautiful book fold card is from my friend and team member Susan K. I just love when the DSP does most of the work for you, and I love this DSP. It makes it so easy to put cards together Lickety split.

This pretty card is from my team member and friend Michele. I just love Night of Navy, White and Gold together.

This beautiful card is from my team member and friend Kathi W. I just love the layered tree, and the DSP is the perfect background.

Retreat Gifts from the Weekend

Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. If you saw my posts over the weekend, you know I did. We ended our retreat with a delicious breakfast. We took some group photos, said our good byes and everyone was on their way. Amy and I were the only ones that flew in, everyone else drove in from Missouri, Tennessee and Georgia. We arrived safely home last night, and my pups were over the moon with excitement to see me.

I thought I would share some pictures of the gifts that everyone brought, it’s just something we all do. I shared my gift on Saturday, and you can find it Here.

Here’s our group from top left. Amy, Karen, Linda, Susan, Judi. Bottom left, Janet, myself and Tara.

We all put on our hats an scarves from Mary’s mom in this one.

We received personalized bags from Mary & Amy filled with a new kit stamping essentials, a candle, chocolate covered cookies, a homemade ornament and hat & scarf hand made by Mary’s mom.

Susan made us all these beautiful, personalized Christmas sacks filled with all kinds of treats she brought from England and an ornament.

We all received a bag full of goodies from Linda with some body butter, a homemade ornament and Legend of a Candy Cane trinket.

Judi, my roommate, gave us all a gift bag with a bowl cozy, liquid glue, glue holder and scissor trinket, so we always know which scissors are ours, with a heart so we think of her.

Tara made us all these adorable boxes that when you pull up there’s a hand sanitizer in it.

Karen made us all these little purses with the Autumn Expressions Dies and it was filled with candy from Missouri.

Hearts Of Elegance Project Ideas

You can’t get much more versatile than hearts, flowers, and greenery, and the Hearts of Elegance Bundle features all three. These elements are perfect for creating collage focal points, so that’s where we started with each of our projects. In addition to the bundle, ink, and cardstock, we also used Country Lace Designer Series Paper, Subtles 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper, and the Gift Bags Combo Pack.

To create the project on the left:  Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.  Adhere another panel of Country Woods DSP at a slight angle to the card front.  Stamp the images from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set in Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Adhere the stamped panel to the card front and then stamp the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink on a small panel of Basic White card stock.  Adhere the sentiment to the card front to finish it.

To create the card in the middle:  Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.  Cut hearts from Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Petal Pink card stocks with the Hearts Of Elegance Dies.  Stamp the flower images from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set on the Pool Party heart in Lost Lagoon ink. Stamp the leaves from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on Basic White card stock and die cut them with the coordinating Hearts Of Elegance Dies.  Stamp the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card stock and then layer and adhere the die cuts and sentiment.  Adhere Petal Pink gems from the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems to finish the card.

To create the project on the right:  Use a Blending Brush to add Petal Pink ink to the front of one of the large gift bags from the Gift Bags Combo Pack.  Cut hearts from Country Woods and Lost Lagoon DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  Adhere the die cuts to the gift bag.  Stamp and die-cut flowers and leaves from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set in Pool Party and Lost Lagoon inks on Basic White card stock.  Adhere the die cut hearts & flowers to the gift bag.  Cut ten smaller hearts from Petal Pink DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, fold them in half, and glue them together at the fold to create a honeycomb heart.  Stamp the sentiment from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card stock, snip it apart and adhere it to the gift bag.  Adhere Petal Pink gems from the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems to finish the gift bag.
