Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Sketch.

Stampin' Up! Fond of Autumn 1 creativestmpingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn Bundle along with the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here’s our sketch for this week.

Stampin' Up! Fond of Autumn 2 creativestmpingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Rustic Harvest DSP to a Pumpkin Pie mat. I adhered the layered panel to a Mossy Meadow card base using Multipurpose Liquid Gue.

Stampin' Up! Fond of Autumn 3 creativestmpingdesigns.com

On the large panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large image from the Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink twice. I stamped the small acorn image from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink 3 times and the small leaf image 2 times. I cut the images out using the Autumn Bouquet Dies. I colored just the leaf/acorn images using my Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the large leaf/acorn images to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Fond of Autumn 4 creativestmpingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I embossed the panel using the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the sentiment to a Pumpkin Pie mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added the small acorns and leaves to the sentiment using Glue Dots. I added a Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dot to the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Fond of Autumn 5 creativestmpingdesigns.com

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the small acorn and leaf image from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the corners of the panel. I colored the images in using my Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pumpkin Pie mat then to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base.

Stampin' Up! Fond of Autumn 6 creativestmpingdesigns.com

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the small acorn and leaf images from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the images using my Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Rustic Harvest DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Cottage Wreaths Fun Fold Video Tutorial

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I hope you were able to catch all or some of our Facebook Live videos yesterday. I was able to catch all of them and I thought they were great. A lot of great ideas. If you joined our World Card Making Day Facebook page, the videos will be up until Facebook decides that we can’t keep them, so you can go back and watch them over and over. If you haven’t joined yet, you can still join. We are going to allow people in for a few more days.

Today’s card is the one I made on the Facebook Live yesterday. If you caught me live or watched the replay, thank you. If you want to watch and stamp along, the measurements are listed below. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreath Bundle and the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here is the template as promised for cutting the card base.

I started by cutting and folding the card base as in the image above. I embossed a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. Using my Blending Brush, I added some Gray Granite Ink lightly to the embossed panel. I adhered the embossed panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered 2 panels of Boughs of Holly DSP to either side of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths Photopolymer Stamp Set in Gray Granite Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom portion of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the wreath I used the Baby Wipe Technique. I folded a baby wipe in quarters. Using my Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry Ink Refills, I added drops of ink on the baby wipe. I inked up the wreath image from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set from the baby wipe and stamped a Basic White panel. I cut the wreath out using the Country Wreaths Dies. I adhered the wreath to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a multi loop bow using Linen Thread and added it to the wreath using a Glue Dot. I added some of the Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the wreath. I added a couple Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the wreath image from the Cottage Wreath stamp set on a Basic White panel, using the ink from the baby wipe, stamping it off once on scrap paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Gray Granite Ink inside the wreath. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Gray Granite mat then to the inside of the Gray Granite card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the wreath image from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set on the bottom of the envelope front. I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Wreaths stamps et in Gray Granite Ink inside the wreath. I adhered a panel of Boughs of Holly DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you will CASE this card and please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under my post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. If you watch this on my YouTube channel, please remember to subscribe so that you will get notified when a new video goes live. I’m hoping to start doing YouTube lives soon, thanks to all that have subscribed. Happy Stamping!!

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Sketch.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of Friendship Birthday 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Seasonal Labels Dies for my card today.

Here’s our sketch for this week.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of Friendship Birthday 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of the Neutrals DSP to a Soft Suede card base.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of Friendship Birthday 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I stamped the solid image of the treetop from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink and the detailed treetop image in Pumpkin Pie Ink over the Crushed Curry image. I cut the image out using the largest die from the Seasonal Labels Dies.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of Friendship Birthday 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the die cut image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I cut the sentiment out using the smaller die from the Seasonal Labels Dies. I adhered a piece of Crumb Cake Bakers Twine from the Bakers Twine Essential Pack to the artwork using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment over the twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of Friendship Birthday 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I stamped the treetop images from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie Inks. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pumpkin Pie mat and then to the inside of the Soft Suede card base.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of Friendship Birthday 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the tree images from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Soft Suede, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Neutrals DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings Josephs Coat

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. I hope everyone’s weekend is going well. I hope you will all take a moment of silence today for all the lives that were lost over 20 years ago. I remember the day like it was yesterday with all our phone going dead and just glued to the tv watching. My children were both in school in lock down until school was over and I could pick them up. I was so scared of what was happening and what could happen. It was a very sad and scary time.

Today’s card is one that we made at our Stamp Camp Class this past Tuesday night. I thought I’d have fun with a couple techniques with the ladies. This one I saw one of my team members make, Mary Deatherage, and I thought it would be perfect with our fall theme. It’s called the Josephs Coat Technique. You can see Mary’s video making this card Here. Here is my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings Josephs Coat 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

Today’s card once again uses the Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings Cling Stamp Set. This is such a perfect set for fall cards and all kinds of techniques.

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings Josephs Coat 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started with a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and using my Blending Brushes I added Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie Inks completely covering the panel. I set the panel to the side to dry completely. You can also use your Heat Tool on the #1 setting to dry the panel. You want to make sure the ink is completely dry before stamping or the embossing powder will stick to the ink and this technique will not work.

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings Josephs Coat 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

Once the panel was completely dry, I stamped the large leaf image from the Soft Seedlings stamp set in Versamark Ink randomly around the panel. I sprinkled it with my Clear Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. Once the panel cooled, I used my Blending Brush again and brushed Early Espresso Ink all over the panel completely covering it again. Once I had the amount of ink I wanted, I took a paper towel and gently rubbed all over the panel wiping the ink off the embossed areas and letting the colors shine through. I adhered the panel to an Early Espresso mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Very Vanilla Thick card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings Josephs Coat 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a small panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Soft Seedlings stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered a piece of Old Olive ribbon from the Old Olive & Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon Combo Pack to the card front. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Textural Element to the card front just under the sentiment using a Glue Dot. I added a few Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings Josephs Coat 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Soft Seedlings stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock. I used my Blending Brushes and added color to the large leaf image from the Soft Seedlings stamp set and stamped the leaves on the panel. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to an Early Espresso mat and then to the inside of the Very Vanilla Thick card base

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings Josephs Coat 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the large leaf image from the Soft Seedlings stamp set on the envelope front and flap in Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie Inks.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Triple Time

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have something fun planned or maybe relaxing is the plan. It’s supposed to be a beautiful weekend here in NJ. I’m hoping to get in a walk or 2 with Coraline to get some of her energy out. Tomorrow, I get to visit my team leader Amy for our meeting and see her dog, Ginny. Ginny always knows I’m coming, and I bring her some kind of treat from the bakery.

Today’s card I used a set from the Annual Catalog doing one of my favorite techniques. This card used Stamps, Ink and Paper all layered together. I added a couple embellishment to dress it up a bit. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Triple Time 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set for my Triple Time card today.

Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Triple Time 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Forever Fern stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the smallest panel of Basic White cardstock. I took the 3 panels of Basic White cardstock and lightly adhered them together using a tiny amount of Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Triple Time 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I randomly stamped the leaf and splatter images from the Forever Fern stamp set in Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry Inks on the layered panels.

Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Triple Time 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the 2 smaller stamped panels to Rich Razzleberry mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the larger Basic White panel to the Rich Razzleberry card base using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the other 2 panels to the card front matching up the leaf images. I added a few Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Triple Time 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Fern stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the leaf and splatter images from the Forever Fern stamp set in Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry Inks on the top and bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and then to the inside of the Rich Razzleberry card base.

Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Triple Time 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf images from the Forever Fern stamp set on the envelope front and flap the same as I did for the card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the large leaf image from the Soft Seedlings stamp set. I inked up the stamp with Blushing Bride Ink then using my Sponge Dauber, I added some Soft Suede Ink along the edges. I cut the image out using my Deckled Rectangle Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Soft Seedlings stamp set along the bottom in Soft Suede Ink.
