Stampin’ Up! Free Skate Memories for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s Thanksgiving?  I hope you were able to enjoy some time with family and friends or even a nice relaxing day.   How many of you were in a food coma yesterday?  I was close, but I was able to control myself.  I don’t know about you, but I always enjoy the leftovers the day after more than I do on Thanksgiving Day.  I’m in full Christmas decorating mode today.  I always decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving, but since I have to work Saturday and Sunday this year, I’m planning on getting as much as possible done today.

For today’s card I made another new to me fun fold, the Double Easel Fold.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with a couple challenges with my card today.  First off is Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #328.  Here’s their inspiration.

Next I got my color inspiration from Global Design Project #217.  Here are their colors.

My card also played along with Inspire. Create. Challenge #057.  They had a theme challenge for this week which was right up my Friday’s ally.  Here’s their theme.

I started by folding the Flirty Flamingo Easel card and adhering the 2 smaller panels of Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper using Snail.   On the larger panel of Christmastime is Here DSP I stamped the snowflake image from the Stampin’ Up! Free Skate Cling Stamp Set multiple times in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the panel to the back portion of the easel card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the easel card base to the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut the skates out from the Whisper White panel using the Detailed Skates Dies.  I adhered the detailed skate to the solid skate using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut 2 skate blades out of a scrap of Silver Foil Sheet and adhered them to the skate blade on the bottom of the Whisper White skate using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the skates together using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the holly image from the Free Skate stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink, on the Whisper White panel that I cut the skates from, and cut it out using the Detailed Skates Dies.  I colored the holly and berries in using Dark Flirty Flamingo and Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the holly to the skates using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the skates to the easel card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Flirty Flamingo cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Free Skate stamp set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I cut a Crumb Cake mat using the next size up of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the Crumb Cake mat using Snail and then to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a bow out of Mossy Meadow cardstock using the Detailed Skates Dies and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot.  I brushed the bow and holly with my Clear Wink of Stella to give it a little sparkle. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels around on the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Cling Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the holly image from the Free Skate stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the top corners of the panel.  I colored the holly in using my Dark Flirty Flamingo and Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Markers and added Clear Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Free Skate stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White pane to a Flirty Flamingo mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the skate image from the Free Skate stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the holly image from the Free Skate stamp set on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and cut it out using the Detailed Skates Dies.  I colored it in the same as I did for the card front and adhered it to the skate image using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a pane of Christmastime is Here DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning and Happy Thanksgiving my fellow stampers.  Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  By the time you read this I will have my turkey on the grill (yes we barbeque our turkey) and will be doing the 2nd step of my homemade pumpkin crescent rolls (a lot of rising with them) and the Macy’s Day Parade will be on in the background.  The Christmas season doesn’t officially start in my house until Santa arrives in the parade.  Cranberry sauce made , stuffing made √, pies made √, sweet potatoes prepared and ready to go in the oven √.  Things are moving along in a timely matter and we will have a nice family dinner with my nieces and nephews over.   Unfortunately we are missing a lot of our family members that have passed on, but I am SO thankful for the family that I have.  I could never imagine not having them in my life.

If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for taking the time to stop by. This week we had a Color Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here’s my card using our colors.

Here are our colors for this week.

I played along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #249.

I also joined in with the Always Fun Challenge #138.  There theme is ‘Anything Goes’.

I started by cutting a scalloped circle in the center of a Night of Navy card front using the largest scallop from the Layering Circles Dies.  I embossed the Night of Navy panel using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Copper Foil mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then I adhered it to a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut the 2nd from the largest star out of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Stitched Stars Dies.  I cut a small detailed star and the flourish pieces out of Copper Foil Sheets using the Stitched Stars Dies.  To make the star look 3D I scored from each point to the opposite indent using my Paper Trimmer score blade.  I then folded on each of the score lines and that made it pop up.  I adhered the small copper star in the center of the Very Vanilla star using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the star to the center of a Night of Navy circle, which I cut using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the copper flourish pieces using Multipurpose Liquid Glue at every indent of the star onto the Night of Navy circle.  I adhered the layered circle in the center of the scallop circle on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I made the strip into a banner and adhered it to a Copper Foil banner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink, stamping off once, on either side of the sentiment and on the bottom corners of the panel.  I added a couple of the stars cut out of Copper Foil from the Stitched Stars Dies on either side of the sentiment.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the small cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the bottom of the envelope front.  I stamped a larger cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink all over the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Christmas Wishes

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  Is everyone ready for a long weekend?  I’ll be baking apple and pumpkin pies today and making a pumpkin swirl cheesecake.  I’ll make my homemade cranberry sauce and make sure the turkey is  cleaned and ready for the grill in the morning.  How about all of you, what do you have to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner?

For today’s card I used some DSP and embossing folder and some dies.  Take a look.

My design was inspired by Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #436.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Poppy Parade card front using the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered 2 panels of Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a stitched circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies from a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.  I cut a circle a little smaller than the stitched circle using the Layering Circle Dies out of Pretty Peacock cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set in Poppy Parade Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using a smaller circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

I adhered the sentiment to the Pretty Peacock mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted sentiment to the stitched Crumb Cake circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a candy cane which I cut and put together using the Cup of Cheer Dies.  I cut the base in Very Vanilla and the top in Poppy Parade.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the cup image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink on the front of the envelope.  I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set inside the cup in Poppy Parade Ink.  I adhered a panel of the Night Before Christmas DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for  visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started out?  This is a short week for most, so today would be halfway through the work week already.  Tomorrow I’m hoping to spend most of the morning making all my pies and pumpkin cheesecake.  I’ll get my sweet potatoes started and the first step of my stuffing done.

For today’s card I made a collage card for you using a lot of different elements.  I also used a pre-made card base, which I don’t usually use.  I’m always up for trying something different.  Here’s my card.

I started off with a Night Before Christmas Memories & More Cards & Envelopes for my card base.  It’s larger that my regular cards so I had more room to decorate.  I adhered a panel of Wrapped In Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas Host Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I immediately sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I sponged a little White Craft Ink around the edges using my Stamping Sponge.  I cut some pine boughs out using the Beautiful Boughs Die in Shaded Spruce cardstock.  I cut some berries out using the Flourish Dies in Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I cut the scroll out of a Gold Foil Sheet using the Christmas Cardinal Dies.  I cut some foliage out of Vellum cardstock using the Frosted Frames Dies.

I arranged and re-arranged the pieces until I liked the way they looked.  Once I had everything how I wanted it, I started adhering the pieces using Glue Dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the sentiment on top of the collage using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the pine boughs from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs Cling Stamp Set on either side of the sentiment in Shaded Spruce Ink, stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail and then to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Night Before Christmas Memories & More Cards & Envelopes comes with decorated envelope.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Time of the Year CAS Card

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Is anyone starting to prepare for Thanksgiving?  I picked up my turkey this weekend and some of the ingredients for the trimmings.  I can’t believe we’re at the end of November already.  This month has really flown by.

For today I have a quick and easy card for you again.  Once again I let the beautiful designer series paper do most of the work for me.  Ok, so yellow is not my favorite color, but I do love the holly in this paper and I was pretty happy with how it came out. Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper to an Old Olive mat using Snail.  I adhered a Cherry Cobbler strip near the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Free Skate Cling Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the stitched oval to an Old Olive scallop oval which I cut using the Layering Ovals Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the holly image from the Free Skate stamp set.  I colored the holly in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers and I colored the berries in using my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the holly out using my Detailed Skates Dies and adhered it to the sentiment oval using a Glue Dot.  I added a couple Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals under the holly leaves to support them.

On the inside I stamped the holly image from the Free Skate stamp set in all 4 corners of a Whisper White panel.  I colored them in using my Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas Host Cling Stamp Set in the center of the Whisper White panel using Old Olive Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Old Olive mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the holly image from the Free Skate stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope.  I colored them in using my Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Night Before Christmas DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Hope it was a productive one.  Are you ready for the weekend?  Can you believe that Thanksgiving is less than a week away?  I can’t.  Before you know it Christmas will be here and then the New Year.  One of the best things about the new year is the New Mini Catalog (formally occasions catalog) will go live.  I can’t wait for you to see it.  If you have ordered from me this past year I will have one in the mail to you as soon as I get them at the beginning of December so that you can start making your list.  If you haven’t ordered from me and would like a catalog all you have to do is place an order and you will be on my list.

For today’s card I made something different to me again.  I made a double Z-Fold card.  Here’s my card.

I started by making my 2 card bases, the larger one in Purple Posy cardstock and the smaller one in Highland Heather cardstock.  Purple Posy cardstock is still available, it’s just the ink and refill that are no longer available.

I adhered the larger Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper to the Silver Foil Sheet mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the smaller Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP to the Purple Posy mats using Snail.  I adhered the larger matted DSP’s to the Purple Posy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the smaller matted DSP’s to the Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment image from the Stampin’ Up Toile Christmas Cling Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink.  I cut the image out using the Christmas Cardinal Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the front of the small card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then adhered the Highland Heather card base to the Purple Posy card base.  I lined up the Highland Heather card base where I wanted it on the Purple Posy card base and closed the card.  I turned it over to adhere the back portion first using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I opened the card back, applied the glue and closed it onto the smaller card base.  For the front, because I thought it might need a little extra adhesive, I opened the small card front and adhered a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive to the edge of the Highland Heather card base and to the edge of the Purple Posy card base.

This is how it looks when it is open.  It does not open flat.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from Toile Christmas stamp set on a Whisper White panel in Smoky Slate Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Purple Posy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the snow flake image from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage Cling Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink, stamping off once, around the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it at try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Beauty and Joy for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Sketch Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here’s what I came up with for the sketch.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by embossing Cherry Cobbler card front using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  I sponged the top with Whisper White Craft Ink to give it a little shading.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flowerpot image from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty & Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the flowerpot.  I stamped the holly image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set on the tree trunk in Shaded Spruce Ink.  I cut the artwork out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the holly image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set again in Shaded Spruce Ink and fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips.  My upline made a similar card last week and she inspired me to stamp the holly separate and fussy cut it.  I adhered the fussy cut holly to the stamped image using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the holly and a Star Design Element to the top of the tree.

On a strip of Shaded Spruce cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas Cling Host Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a strip of a Copper Foil Sheet using Snail.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the sentiment over the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the holly image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink over the tree trunk.  I stamped the berry image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink over the holly.  I stamped the star image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink on the top of the tree.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the holly tree image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card.  It’s hard to see, but I embossed the envelope flap using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. If you click on the Next Blog button, you’ll go right to Amy’s page. Or you can just click on the names below to go directly to all the blogs! Happy Hopping!!

Kristi Gray:  I will be in Disney  World this week (squeal) and will not be hopping.

Stampin’ Up! Cup of Christmas Cheer

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  We’re half way through the week already.  Has anyone noticed that some of the radio stations started playing Christmas music?  What ever happen to waiting till after or at least a couple days before Thanksgiving?  Christmas season doesn’t start for me until I see Santa at the end of the Macy’s Day Parade.

Today’s card was another one we made at our Stamp Camp.  I realized after we made this card, that I made a very similar one a few weeks ago, but I really love it with the blue.  Here’s my card.

I started by embossing a Blueberry Bushel card front using the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered a panel of Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Seaside Spray mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted DSP to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Blueberry Bushel card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut out a Real Red and Shaded Spruce cup using the Cup of Cheer Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on the Shaded Spruce cup.  I immediately sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the stripes for the Real Red cup in Flirty Flamingo cardstock using the Cup of Cheer Dies.  I adhered them to the Real Red cup using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the cups to the card front using Stamping’ Dimensionals.

I cut 2 of the scrolls out of Silver Glimmer Paper using the Christmas Cardinals Dies.  I adhered them just inside the cups using a drop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Blueberry Bushel Ink.  I stamped the poinsettia image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink in the corners of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the cup image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in the center of the cup in Real Red Ink.  I stamped the flourish image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink above and below the sentiment in the cup.  I adhered a panel of Let It Snow Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front to add a little extra sparkle.
