Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started out?  This is a short week for most, so today would be halfway through the work week already.  Tomorrow I’m hoping to spend most of the morning making all my pies and pumpkin cheesecake.  I’ll get my sweet potatoes started and the first step of my stuffing done.

For today’s card I made a collage card for you using a lot of different elements.  I also used a pre-made card base, which I don’t usually use.  I’m always up for trying something different.  Here’s my card.

I started off with a Night Before Christmas Memories & More Cards & Envelopes for my card base.  It’s larger that my regular cards so I had more room to decorate.  I adhered a panel of Wrapped In Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas Host Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I immediately sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I sponged a little White Craft Ink around the edges using my Stamping Sponge.  I cut some pine boughs out using the Beautiful Boughs Die in Shaded Spruce cardstock.  I cut some berries out using the Flourish Dies in Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I cut the scroll out of a Gold Foil Sheet using the Christmas Cardinal Dies.  I cut some foliage out of Vellum cardstock using the Frosted Frames Dies.

I arranged and re-arranged the pieces until I liked the way they looked.  Once I had everything how I wanted it, I started adhering the pieces using Glue Dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the sentiment on top of the collage using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the pine boughs from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs Cling Stamp Set on either side of the sentiment in Shaded Spruce Ink, stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail and then to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Night Before Christmas Memories & More Cards & Envelopes comes with decorated envelope.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week was a fun Sketch Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects.  Here’s what I came up with for the sketch.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Silver Foil Sheet card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Night of Navy cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a Silver Foil Sheet banner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the scroll stars using the Stitched Stars Dies out of Silver Glimmer Paper.  I snipped the scroll in half so that I could arrange it with the banner so that some was on top and some on the bottom.

I adhered the scroll to the card front using Glue Dots where the banner would cover.  I adhered the sentiment banner over the scroll using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the stars from the scroll, scattered around on the card front, using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped the cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Basic Gray Ink around the sentiment, stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the star cluster image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Basic Gray Ink along the bottom of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today.  If you click on the Next Blog button, you’ll go right to Amy’s page. Stampin’ Up! Lots of Cheer for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Fun Fold Friday.  How has everyone’s week been?  Have you made plans for the weekend yet?  Other than working, I’m not sure what I will be doing.

I figured it was time to get started on my Christmas cards, so you’ll be seeing a lot of Christmas/Holiday cards in the next few weeks.  Here’s today’s card.

I started by folding a Night of Navy card base at 4 1/4″ & 1 3/4″.  I adhered a panel of Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Gold Foil Sheet panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted DSP to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of the 3/8″ Shaded Spruce/Gold Striped Ribbon around the card base and tied a bow.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the boxed snowman image from the Stampin’ Up! Lots of Cheer Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using my Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock using the largest scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Dies and adhered the artwork to it using Snail.  On the thin part of the Night of Navy card front I stamped the sentiment from the Lots of Cheer stamp set in Versamark Ink on an angle.  I immediately sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the matted oval artwork to the folded edge of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the left half of the oval.  I added a few Real Red Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots.

On the inside I stamped the snowman image from the Lots of Cheer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock stamping off 3 times.  I stamped the sentiment from the Lots of Cheer stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on top of the snowman image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base on top of the Wrapped in Plaid DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the boxed snowman image from the Lots of Cheer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored it in with my Stampin’ Blends Markers the same as I did for the card front artwork.  I adhered a panel of Wrapped in Plaid DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Cup of Christmas Cards

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Were you able to join us for our Facebook live videos?  We all had a lot of fun making them.  I did my first ever video and I have to admit, I had fun with it.  If you were able to watch, thank you very much.

For today I have the 2 cards from the video for you.  Both cards are the same style just different color bases and Designer Series Paper.  My directions are the same for both cards just the different colors.  Here are my cards.

My card played along with the Just Add Ink Challenge #477.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing the Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce card fronts using the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper on the Coastal Cabana mat and the Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper on the Gold Foil Sheet using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted DSP to each of the card fronts using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut out Flirty Flamingo, Night of Navy, Real Red and Shaded Spruce cups using the Cup of Cheer Dies.  On the Night of Navy mug I cut out the stripes from the Cup of Cheer Dies in Shaded Spruce cardstock and adhered them to the cup using Fine Tip Glue Pen.  For the Flirty Flamingo cup I cut out a snowflake from the Seasonal Layers Dies in Sparkle Glimmer Paper and adhered it to the cup using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the Real Red and Shaded Spruce cups I stamped them both using sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set with Versamark Ink.  I sprinkled the Real Red one with Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and the Shaded Spruce one with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I immediately used my Heat Tool to set them.  I adhered the cups to the card fronts using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut out the steam with a scroll die from the Christmas Cardinal Dies in Smoky Slate cardstock.  I adhered them to the cups using my Fine Tip Glue Pen.  I adhered the Cherry Cobbler card front to the Cherry Cobbler card base and the Shaded Spruce card front to the Shaded Spruce card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the insides I stamped one of the Whisper White panels in the center with the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped the holly image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set on either side of the sentiment in Shaded Spruce Ink.  On the other Whisper White panel in the center I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage Cling Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Frosted Foliage stamp set in Coastal Cabana Ink, stamping off once, on either side of the sentiment.  I adhered the one stamped with the Night of Navy sentiment to the Shaded Spruce mat and the one stamped with the Shaded Spruce sentiment to the Coastal Cabana mat using Snail.  I adhered the Shaded Spruce matted sentiment to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base and the Coastal Cabana matted sentiment to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my cards I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the polka dot cup image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Wrapped in Plaid DSP to the envelope flap.

For the other Medium Whisper White Envelope I stamped the snowflake image from the Frosted Foliage stamp set in Coastal Cabana Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of Let it Snow Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my cards and will give them a try.  Let me know which one you like better.  The list of supplies are below along with the measurements if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video.  You can watch it on my Facebook page Here.

Stampin’ Up Wrapped In Plaid Swirly Frames Sneak Peek Christmas Card

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone doing today?  Hope your week has started off well.

I have a sneak peek for you today from the 2019 Holiday Catalog.  If you are a customer of mine you have seen this set in the catalog on page 13.  This is a pretty quick and easy card to make.  Here’s my card.

I started by stamping the large and small circles from the Stampin’ Up Swirly Frames Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on a Shaded Spruce card front.  I immediately sprinkled it with my Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the card front to a Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I punched 3 trees out from the new gorgeous Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper (available Sept 4th) using the Pine Tree Punch (available Sept 4th).  I adhered 2 of the trees using Glue Dots and the center tree using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the sentiment out from Cherry Cobbler cardstock using the  Word Wishes Dies and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Perfect Plaid Photopolymer Stamp Set (available Sept 4th) in Cherry Cobbler Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the plaid tree image from the Perfect Plaid stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the plaid tree from the Perfect Plaid stamp set in Shaded Spruce twice and Cherry Cobbler once on the bottom of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card.  The Perfect Plaid Stamp Set, the Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper and the Pine Tree Punch will be available for purchase on September 4th.

Happy Stamping!!
