Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Easter

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s weekend started off?  Yesterday was such a strange day weather wise here.  It was sunny, then it snowed, sunny again, then the hail came down strong, sunny again, then rain.  All this with heavy gusts of wind all day.  It did not feel like spring at all.  I was able to get one of our traditional Easter dishes made and my niece and nephew stopped by for some.  I handed it out the door to them, keeping a distance.  I can’t wait till this Social Distancing is over, but until then I do what I have to do.

I was all done with Easter cards, mailed all that I had out on Tuesday.  My son’s girlfriend asked me Thursday night if I could make her 3 Easter cards, of course I couldn’t say no.  Here’s one of the cards I made for her.

My colors were inspired by the Color Throwdown Challenge #588.  Here are their colors.

I also played along with Just Add Ink Challenge #500.

I joined in with Inspire. Create Challenge #066.  Here is their Theme.

I started by adhering a panel of the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to a Daffodil Delight mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panel to a Granny Apple Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the stem image from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set in Granny Apple Green Ink 3 times.  I stamped the leaf image from the Timeless Tulips stamp set on either side of the stems in Granny Apple Green Ink.  I stamped the largest tulip image from the Timeless Tulips stamp set 3 times on the Whisper White panel.  I stamped the 1st tulip in Daffodil Delight Ink and sponged the edge using my Sponge Dauber with Melon Mambo Ink.  The 2nd tulip I stamped in Melon Mambo Ink, stamped it off once, then sponged the edge with my Sponge Dauber in Melon Mambo Ink.  The last tulip I stamped in Pumpkin Pie Ink and sponged the edge in Melon Mambo Ink using my Sponge Dauber.  I cut all the tulips out using my Tulip Builder Punch and cut the stem images out using my Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

I adhered the tulips to the stamped stem images using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut the sentiment out in Daffodil Delight cardstock using my Word Wishes Dies and adhered it on the artwork using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Wish For Everything Cling Stamp Set in Granny Apple Green Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the stem image from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink 3 times on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the leaf image from the Timeless Tulips stamp set twice on the stems in Granny Apple Green Ink.  I stamped the medium tulip image from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie Inks on the stems.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Daffodil Delight mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Granny Apple Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stem image from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink 3 times on the bottom front of the envelope.  I stamped the medium tulip image from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie Inks on the stem images.  I adhered a panel of Perennial Essence DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Happy Easter

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  We’re halfway through the week already.  Hope you are having a productive week.

I have another card from our card class last week that we made.  My card was CASEd from my team leader Amy Koenders.  You can see her card here.  I thought I would change it by using a different color.  Here’s my card.

I started by stamping the large floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Purple Posy cardstock.  I immediately sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  Using my Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write Markers I added a little color inside the embossed flowers.  I adhered the Purple Posy panel to a Gorgeous Grape mat using Snail.

I adhered a panel of the New Sale-A-Bration item, So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper which is available free with a qualifying purchase, to a Purple Posy card base using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the sentiment out of a panel of Soft Sea Foam cardstock using my Word Wishes Dies.  I brushed the sentiment using Clear Wink of Stella to give is a little shimmer.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Wish For Everything Cling Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape Ink.  Using my Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write Markers, I colored the large floral image from the Forever Blossoms stamp set and stamped it on the top of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Gorgeous Grape mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Purple Posy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large floral image from the Forever Blossoms stamp set, which I colored using my Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write Markers, on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the 2019-2021 In-Colors 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas Wish for Everything

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers and Happy December!!  How was everyone’s long weekend?  Did anyone brave going out on Black Friday to start their holiday shopping? I definitely did NOT.  I stayed in and got my house decorated for Christmas.  This has been a tradition of mine for years to decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving.  I decorate the inside and my husband does the outside.  Sometimes I think he is trying to compete with Christmas Vacation though.  I didn’t decorate as much this year as I normally do.  Christmas usually explodes in my house, going all out decorating every room to the fullest.  We are leaving for a vacation (finally after 5 years) on January 6th and I will need to pack up everything before I leave, I don’t want to have to come home to having to pack up Christmas.

For this week, I’m doing some pretty quick and easy cards for you.  We’re getting to crunch time to finish up Christmas cards, so I figured I give you some quick ones using up a lot of DSP.  Today’s card was inspired by my upline Jaimie.  I’ve had this piece of DSP and didn’t know how to use it without ruining the beautiful picture, Jaimie made a card last week using this paper and I loved it.  Here’s today’s card.

This is one of the cards we are going to make at my Stamp Camp this week.  I started by cutting the panel of Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper in half so that I could make 2 cards from this one piece.  Now everyone knows that I don’t make any 2 cards the same, but when I’m having a class everyone else makes my card.

I adhered the Night Before Christmas DSP to a Very Vanilla mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted DSP to a Night of Navy card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the Merry Christmas sentiment out of a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Word Wishes Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

They are a little difficult to see, but I added a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front to add a little glimmer.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Wish For Everything Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the tree image from the Stampin’ Up Winter Woods Cling Stamp Set off to the side in Old Olive Ink.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the tree image from the Winter Woods stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Night Before Christmas DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! A Wish For Everything Halloween Card

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone doing today?

Last night I had one of my Stamp Camp Classes at my house.  The ladies made 4 different cards.  I tried to make it a little fun by using different designs from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper.  Everyone picked an envelope with the DSP in it not knowing what they were going to get so that everyone’s card was a little different.   Here is my card for today.

My card was inspired by Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge #203.  Here is their theme.

I started by cutting the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper into 1 1/2″ strips.  I adhered the DSP to a Basic Black card front using Multipurpose Glue.  I wrapped a piece of the Terracotta Tile 1/2″ Scalloped Lined Ribbon around the card front and tied a knot.  I put a small Glue Dot under the knot to hold it in place.

I cut the Happy Halloween sentiment from the Word Wishes Dies out of a piece of Basic Black and Very Vanilla cardstock.  I adhered them together giving it a shadow effect.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front on an angle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels that I had colored using my Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I adhered the card front to a Terracotta Tile card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Wish For Everything Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Terracotta Tile card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I adhered a strip of the Monster Bash DSP to the envelope bottom and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Wrapped In Plaid Swirly Frames Sneak Peek Christmas Card

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone doing today?  Hope your week has started off well.

I have a sneak peek for you today from the 2019 Holiday Catalog.  If you are a customer of mine you have seen this set in the catalog on page 13.  This is a pretty quick and easy card to make.  Here’s my card.

I started by stamping the large and small circles from the Stampin’ Up Swirly Frames Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on a Shaded Spruce card front.  I immediately sprinkled it with my Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the card front to a Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I punched 3 trees out from the new gorgeous Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper (available Sept 4th) using the Pine Tree Punch (available Sept 4th).  I adhered 2 of the trees using Glue Dots and the center tree using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the sentiment out from Cherry Cobbler cardstock using the  Word Wishes Dies and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Perfect Plaid Photopolymer Stamp Set (available Sept 4th) in Cherry Cobbler Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the plaid tree image from the Perfect Plaid stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the plaid tree from the Perfect Plaid stamp set in Shaded Spruce twice and Cherry Cobbler once on the bottom of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card.  The Perfect Plaid Stamp Set, the Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper and the Pine Tree Punch will be available for purchase on September 4th.
