Stampin’ Up! Adorable Owls Fun Fold Baby Card

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? I had off yesterday and did a little unexpected cleaning. Every once in a while, (more often than I want to admit), I will go to clean 1 small thing/area and it turns into a huge project of cleaning and rearranging. Yesterday was one of those days. I wanted to just clean up 1 little thing and it ended up washing windows, changing curtains and ripping out a carpet.

Today a have a baby card for you that is also a fun fold. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! January-February Sale-a-bration Adorable Owls Cling Stamp Set, the Stampin’ Up! Celebrating You Cling Stamp Set, the Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring my Basic White Thick card base at 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 6 3/4″ & 8″ as stated below in the card cuts. The 2 1/2″ & 6 3/4″ score lines are mountain folds and the 3 3/4″ & 8″ score lines are valley folds.

I adhered a panel of Country Floral Lane DSP to a Calypso Coral mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Seal only on the left side. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the flying owl image from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Mint Macaron & Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using the 2nd largest Layering Circles Dies. From a panel of Calypso Coral cardstock, I cut the coordinating scallop circle from the Layering Circles Dies. I adhered the artwork to the scalloped circle using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the larger thick banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots. I added a few Fun Flower Resin Shapes to the card front.

On the center panel, I adhered a panel of Calypso Coral cardstock to the Basic Whtie Thick card base using Stampin’ Seal only on the left side. I adhered a panel of Country Floral Lane DSP to the right side of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the sentiment from the Adorable Owls stamp set on the panel of Basic White cardstock in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the larger thick banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the panel using Stampin’ Seal.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Calypso Coral mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the owl image from the Adorable Owls stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Mint Macaron & Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Country Floral Lane DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. I hope your weekend is going well.

I have one last card I made using the Sale-a-bration DSP. I have to admit after playing with this DSP, I liked it more than when I first got it. It was fun to play with and create cards. Here’s my card for today.

I started by adhering a panel of Day At The Farm DSP to a Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid glue.

I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Matte Black Dots to the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Day At The Farm

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans ahead. I’ll be at work all day today.

I have another card that I made playing with the Sale-a-bration DSP. This paper really is a lot of fun to play with. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Bundle and the Day At The Farm Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by embossing a Sahara Sand card front using the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the card front to a Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered panels of Day At The Farm DSP to Basic Black mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the longer layered panels to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the 2 square layered panels to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic Black cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment using my Fragrant Flowers Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal. I tied a small bow using the White Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot. I added a few Matte Black Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Fragrant Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic white cardstock. I adhered a strip of the Day At The Farm DSP to the side of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of Day At The Farm DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you. Here is my card using this week’s theme.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes Photopolymer Stamp Set, the Gnomes Dies and the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper for my card today.

We have a LOVE theme for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of Country Floral Lane DSP to a Sweet Sorbet card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a smaller panel of Country Floral Lane DSP to a Basic White mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the 2 gnome images from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images using my Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Pool Party, Sweet Sorbet and Medium/Light Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using my Gnomes Dies. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the mushroom house image from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the panel using the largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the grass image on the bottom of the panel in Granny Apple Green Ink. I adhered the panel to a Basic White mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the gnomes to the layered panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the 2 ends on an angle. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I colored a couple of the Heart Pearls using my Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the colored Heart Pearls and a white Heart Pearl to the card front.

I colored the image using my Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat then to the inside of the Sweet Sorbet card base.

Stampin’ Up! Kind & Sincere At The Farm

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend.

Today’s card is another one I made playing with the Sale-a-bration DSP. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Kind & Sincere Cling Stamp Set along with the Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of Day At The Farm DSP to a Balmy Blue card bae using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Day At The Farm DSP using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the die cut panel to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the larger sentiment from the Kind & Sincere stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I fussy cut the sentiment using my Paper Snips. On a thin strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Kind & Sincere stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the larger sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the strip sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Kind & Sincere stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered a strip of the Day At The Farm DSP to the side of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat then to the inside of the Balmy Blue card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of Day At The Farm DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. I hope everyone’s week has started out well.

I finally got a little time yesterday after work to sit down and create a little. I had gotten a pack of DSP from Sale-a-bration and I wasn’t sure what to do with it. Ideas finally started coming to me yesterday and I put together a few cards using it. Here is one of the cards I made.

I started by adhering a panel of Day At The Farm DSP to a Garden Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a small panel of Day At The Farm DSP to a Basic White mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped a strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock with the splatter image from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink. I cut both ends using the Banner Pick A Punch. I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a thin strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set in Garden Green Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots Assortment to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from Thanks A Bunch stamp set in Garden Green Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the small carrot image from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set in Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green Inks on either side of the sentiment . I adhered the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat then to the inside of the Garden Green card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the small carrot image from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set on the envelope front in Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green Ink. I adhered a panel of Day At The Farm DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? I hope you were able to do something fun. It was a gloomy one here in NJ.

Today’s card I played with one of my favorite sets from the new January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. I used it last Wednesday for my live and I think I had mentioned that I wasn’t sure I was going to like it alot. I do and I’ve been playing with it a lot. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Bundle, the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Cling Stamp Set, Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper and Subtle 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP to a Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of Subtle DSP to the card front on an angle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle Dies. I embossed the panel using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. Using my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and the flicking technique, I added black ink on the embossed panel.

I stamped the flower and small bee images from the Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the images using the Queen Bee Dies. I colored the flowers only using my So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. Using the Queen Bee Dies, I cut the hives from a panel of Basic Black cardstock and the leaves and flowers from a panel of So Saffron cardstock. I adhered the floral image and small bee to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiments from the Queen Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Queen Bee Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the embossed panel overlapping the flowers a little using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the die cut leaves under the sentiment using Glue Dots. I adhered the hives around the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added Classic Matte Dots to the flower centers. I tied a small bow using the Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot. I adhered the embossed panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the floral and bee images from the Queen Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the flowers using my So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I randomly stamped the newsprint image from the Queen Bee stamp set in So Saffron Ink on the Basic White panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a So Saffron mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.
