Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Here we are halfway through the week already. I hope your week is going well.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. We have a double challenge this week. It’s the second challenge of the month, we are posting two challenge photos!  You can choose whichever photo you prefer, or you could create two separate cards, one for each photo! The inspiration photo #193a is New Arrival and 193b is Busy Bee.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

Stampin' Up! Honeybee Home 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Bundle, the Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Bundle, the Hive 3D Embossing Folder and the Beautiful Shapes Die for my Clean and Layered card. I was inspired by the inspiration photo 193b with the colors and bees. All these Items will be retiring at the end of the month except for the color. If you would have told me that less than a week after I got the new In-Colors that I would be using the Wild Wheat, I would have said you were crazy. It’s my least favorite color, but it works so well with these stamp sets.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concepts and join us for our challenge 193a or 193b.  How are you inspired by the photos?

Stampin' Up! Honeybee Home 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by cutting a panel of Basic Black cardstock using the Beautiful Shapes Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Cling Stamp Set on the bottom of the panel in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I embossed a panel of Wild Wheat cardstock using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. Using my Wink of Stella brush, I flicked some shimmer on the embossed panel.

Stampin' Up! Honeybee Home 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large bee from the Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with Black Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I stamped the 3 small bees from the Honeybee Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the same panel. I cut the small bees out using the Honeybee Blossoms Dies and the large bee using the Queen Bee Dies. I colored the bees using the Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stampin' Up! Honeybee Home 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the hive embossed panel to a Wild Wheat card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the die cut Basic Black card front over the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the bees to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Honeybee Home 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Honeybee Home stamp set in Wild Wheat Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the 3 bees from the Honeybee Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink by the sentiment and on the bottom of the panel. I colored the bees using my Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat then to the inside of the Wild Wheat card base.

Stampin' Up! Honeybee Home 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the large bee from the Queen Bee stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the 3 smaller bees from the Honeybee Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope flap. I colored all the bees in using my Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Marker.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like the card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Birthday

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? I hope you were able to do something fun. It was a gloomy one here in NJ.

Today’s card I played with one of my favorite sets from the new January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. I used it last Wednesday for my live and I think I had mentioned that I wasn’t sure I was going to like it alot. I do and I’ve been playing with it a lot. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Queen Bee Birthday 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Bundle, the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Cling Stamp Set, Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper and Subtle 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Queen Bee Birthday 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP to a Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of Subtle DSP to the card front on an angle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle Dies. I embossed the panel using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. Using my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and the flicking technique, I added black ink on the embossed panel.

Stampin' Up! Queen Bee Birthday 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I stamped the flower and small bee images from the Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the images using the Queen Bee Dies. I colored the flowers only using my So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. Using the Queen Bee Dies, I cut the hives from a panel of Basic Black cardstock and the leaves and flowers from a panel of So Saffron cardstock. I adhered the floral image and small bee to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Queen Bee Birthday 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiments from the Queen Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Queen Bee Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the embossed panel overlapping the flowers a little using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the die cut leaves under the sentiment using Glue Dots. I adhered the hives around the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added Classic Matte Dots to the flower centers. I tied a small bow using the Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot. I adhered the embossed panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Any plans for the weekend yet? I have off of work tomorrow, but I’ll be working all day on Sunday. Tomorrow would have been a very special day if my dad were still here. It’s his 100th birthday. I’m sure he’ll be enjoying it up in heaven with my mom and all his siblings and family members.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here is my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Bundle, Sale-a-bration Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper and the Hive 3D Embossing Folder.

Stampin' Up! Queen Bee Fun Fold 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by scoring and folding the large and small card bases as listed below. I randomly stamped a panel of Crushed Curry cardstock using the newsprint stamp from the Stampin’ Up! I adhered the embossed panel to the back of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the small card base to the center back of the large card base and the front of the large card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

From a scrap of Dainty Flowers DSP, I cut the tiny heart die from the Queen Bee Dies and adhered it to the large bee. I added a few Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Queen Bee Fun Fold 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I adhered a panel of Dainty Flowers DSP to the center of the large card base. I adhered a panel of the Dainty Flowers DSP to the center panel of the small card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut 3 of the small leaf dies from the Queen Bee Dies from a panel of Old Olive cardstock. I cut the larger flower die from the Queen Bee Dies from a scrap of Rich Razzleberry cardstock. I adhered the leaves to the center of the small card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the flower using a Glue Dot. I stamped the small bee image from the Queen Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the center panel. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiments from the Queen Bee stamp set in Stary Sky Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to the back section of the small card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut 5 of the beehives dies from the Queen Bee Dies from a panel of Basic Black cardstock.

Cup of Tea Thank You

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends, welcome to the weekend and Merry Christmas Eve. We’re down to the final countdown till Santa arrives. I’ll be at work today waiting on those crazy people (like me) that waited till the last minute to go shopping. The good thing is, we’re closing the store at 2pm. In all the years I’ve worked here (38 to be exact) I’ve NEVER worked on Christmas Eve. I’m usually home prepping our 7 fish dinner. Things have changed a bit over the past couple years.

I have a fairly quick card for you today using items from the Annual Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Cup of Tea Thanks 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea Bundle along with the Tea Boutique 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

My sketch is from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #404.

Stampin' Up! Cup of Tea Thanks 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering 3 panels of Tea Boutique DSP to a Garden Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. ON a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the teacup image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the lemon slice from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink and the sentiment in Garden Green Ink. I cut the images out using the Teacup Dies. I colored the teacup using the Fresh Freesia and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stampin' Up! Cup of Tea Thanks 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I embossed the die cut panel using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the panel to a Garden Green mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I wrapped a piece of Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon from the Real Red and Garden Green Ribbon Combo Pack, around the layered panel and tied a bow.

Stampin' Up! Cup of Tea Thanks 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered a piece of White Bakers Twine from the Bakers Twine Essential Pack to the back of the teacup. I threaded it through the handle and adhered it to the back of the tag using a Glue Dot. I adhered the teacup to the layered panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the lemon slice using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Glossy Dots Assortment to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Cup of Tea Thanks 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Garden Green Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the teacup image from the Cup of Tea stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using the Fresh Freesia and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the lemon slice next to the cup in Daffodil Delight Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat then to the inside of the Garden Green card base.

Stampin' Up! Cup of Tea Thanks 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the teacup image from the Cup of Tea stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Fresh Freesia and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the lemon slice from the Cup of Tea stamp set next to the cup in Daffodil Delight Ink. I adhered a panel of Tea Boutique DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin' Up! Cup of Tea Thanks 7 creativestampingdesigns.com

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like the card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas tomorrow and are able to spend some time with family and friends.

Contact me if you have any questions.  Head over to my Online Store on Tuesday June 21st to take advantage of this awesome offer.

Today I have a card that we made at our Creativity Now event from Saturday night. The designers from Stampin’ Up! came up with 4 different cards that we made. Some of them were not exactly my style, but I made them anyway. They adhered DSP and dies crooked on the card fronts. Those that know me, know that I like things straight. These cards were out of my comfort zone, and I liked them lol. I’ll be showing the others over the next week. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts Bundle (available July 1st) along with the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set and Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper (available July 1st) for my card today.

I started by embossing a Fresh Freesia card front using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Fresh Freesia card base. I adhered a panel of the Splendid Day DSP to the card front on an angle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I colored a panel of Basic White cardstock using my Fresh Freesia and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I colored the top half with my Light Pool Party and the bottom half with my Light Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Marker. I colored of the center of the panel with Dark Pool Party and Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Marker (I hope this makes sense). I stamped the bumblebee image from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts Cling Stamp Set in Pool Party and Fresh Freesia Inks on their respective colors. I adhered the panel to the card front at the opposite angle of the DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Fresh Freesia Ink. Using my Paper Snips, I cut the ends into a banner. I cut 2 of the leaf dies from the Splendid Stems Dies from a panel of Soft Sea Foam cardstock. I adhered the dies to the back of the sentiment using Glue Dots. I adhered a piece of the beautiful Soft Sea Foam 3/8″ Seam Binding Ribbon (available July 1st) behind the sentiment using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few 2021-2023 In-Color Opal Rounds to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Fresh Freesia Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the eucalyptus and bumblebee images from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat and then to the inside of the Fresh Freesia card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the eucalyptus and image from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the envelope front and the bee image in Fresh Freesia Ink. I adhered a panel of the Splendid Day DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card. The bundle and DSP used for my card today will be available for purchase starting on Friday July 1st. I hope that you are getting those shopping lists ready. I have mine ready to go first thing in the morning. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug Bumblebee, Fun Fold with Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends HAPPY APRIL!!! Welcome to my fun fold Friday. I can’t believe that it’s April, WOW!!! My Bradford Pear Tree has buds on it and so does my Dogwood Tree. My Hydrangeas are starting to sprout green and Tulips are popping up everywhere. Looks like spring is in the air, now if the temperatures would just cooperate. Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I’ll be signed in on my OnTour watching new products get used and learning some new things. I got my preorder placed this morning before I had to leave for work, so once it come in I’ll do an unveiling video. My credit card has gone in hiding for a bit, I guess it was a little bit of a shock all at once for it.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring and folding a Bumblebee card base at 2 1/8″ & 4 1/4″ to make a Z-Fold card. I adhered 2 panels of Pansy Petals DSP to 2 Basic Black mats. I adhered 1 of the layered panels on the front of the card base.

I cut 2 of the flower images from a panel of Pansy Petals DSP and 6 of the leaf images from another panel of Pansy Petals DSP using my Pansy Dies. I adhered the leaves to the back of the die cut flower using Glue Dots. I adhered 2 of the 1 7/8″ Basic Black squares to the card front as diamonds lining up the corners with the edge of the matted DSP. I adhered the die cut pansies to the diamonds using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock. I cut the strip using my Banner Pick A Punch and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered 2 of the Adhesive-Backed Hexagons to the sentiment and 2 to the flower centers.

I cut a small panel of Basic Black cardstock using the Ladybug Builder Punch. I adhered 3 strips of Bumblebee cardstock evenly on the punched ladybug giving it stripes for the bumblebee. I punched a piece of Vellum paper using the Ladybug Builder Punch for the wings. I embossed the Vellum paper using my Hive 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the wings to the bumblebee body using a Stampin’ Dimensional and added an Adhesive-Backed Hexagon in the center of the wings. For the mechanism the bumblebee is on, I took a 2 7/8″ square of Basic Black cardstock scored and folded it from corner to corner one way. I cut a 2 3/4″ square of Pansy Petals in half corner to corner and adhered it to one side of the square. After the inside was finished, I matched up the square with the inner liner, having the DSP side facing out. I added Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Basic Black side of the triangle and adhered the card base to it so that it would line up perfectly. I adhered the bumblebee to the DSP side using Stampin’ Dimensionals. (If I didn’t explain this part clearly it might be better off watching the video).

I adhered the 2nd DSP layered panel to the inside left of the card base. I cut 2 – 2″ Basic Black squares to make triangles. I cut 2 – 1 3/4″ Pansy Petal DSP squares to make triangles. I adhered the DSP to the Basic Black mats and then to the 4 corners of the inside of the card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the flower image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Bumblebee Ink on the Basic White panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the inside of the Bumblebee card base. I added a couple Bumblebee Trinkets to the 2 outside corners.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Pansy Petals DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you will CASE this card and please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under my post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

I want to let you know about a change to Stampin’ Up!’s shipping and handling pricing.  Starting April 1, the minimum shipping charge will increase by $1.00, from $6.95 to $7.95—or by one percentage point, from 10% to 11% of the total order amount—whichever is greater.

If you ever use the expedited shipping options, those fees are going up a bit too.  Here are the new fees for expedited shipping:

  • Next Day Upgrade: $38.00 USD ($3.00 USD increase from the previous rate)
  • 2nd Day Upgrade: $23.00 USD ($3.00 USD increase from the previous rate)
  • 3 Day Shipping Upgrade: $15.00 USD ($5.00 USD increase from the previous rate)

I want to make sure you’re aware of this change, as it impacts both you and me.  Stampin’ Up! has worked to keep the increase as minimal as possible so they can continue bringing you the unique, high-quality, and coordinated paper crafting products that you love.

Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Sneak Peek

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans. Have you gotten your tree up yet? Shopping done? I’m doing all my Christmas cookie baking this weekend. I started Thursday and should be finished up by today. Tomorrow will be finishing touches and putting all my trays together that I hand out.

For today’s card we did a Mystery Stamping at our team meeting this past Tuesday night. It was a lot of fun. Jaimie gave us measurements and told us what to do putting the card together. I got my right and left a little mixed up, but I’m still happy with the results. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Bundle along with the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by embossing a Pale Papaya card front using the new Hive 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the card front to a Pale Papaya card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered 2 panels of the Heart & Home DSP to the card front. I cut a strip of the Heart & Home DSP into a banner and adhered it to the left side of the card front. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the foxglove floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it in using my Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker. I cut the image our using the Honeybee Blooms Dies. Using the same dies, I also cut out the floral and leaf images from panels of Cinnamon Cider and Garden Green cardstock.

I arranged the die cut pieces the way I wanted them and adhered them to the card front. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Honeybee Home stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink and cut it our using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered a piece of the Pale Papaya 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon to the card front and adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Pale Papaya Genial Gems to the sentiment and added a Bumblebee Trinket to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Honeybee Home stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the floral image from the Honeybee Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it the same as I did for the card front. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pale Papaya mat and then to the inside of the Pale Papaya card base.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the foxglove image from the Honeybee Home stamp set on the envelope front and colored it in the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of the Heart & Home DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card. The items I used will all be available starting January4, 2022. I just love this DSP with this bundle. Happy Stamping!!
