Sales Tax Holiday July-August

The 2026 back-to-school sales tax holiday season is upon us!  During select dates in July and August, thirteen states and Puerto Rico are offering a sales tax holiday for school supplies.

Good news: this includes select Stampin’ Up! products!  According to state statutes, “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes” are eligible.

You can find the list on the 2026 Back-to-School Tax Holiday Information handout.  The handout also includes participating states, tax-exempt products, sales tax holiday dates, and information about how these exemptions work.  Click on the image below to open the full size handout:

Please note that you must place your Stampin’ Up! orders during the tax holiday period to receive qualifying items tax-free.  Orders must be placed between midnight on the first day and midnight on the last day of the applicable tax holiday. Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How are you all doing today? I missed you yesterday, how was your weekend? I spend Sunday weeding a couple gardens in front of my house. It always amazes me how quickly those weeds grow. I spent about 5 hours outside working only on 2 of my gardens. I have a big one to tackle one day soon and a couple more that need a little TLC.

Today’s an exciting day for demonstrators. We get to preorder from the September-December 2026 Catalog. It’s another great catalog. I’ll be ordering my catalogs too, so if you are a customer of mine and you’ve placed an order in the past year, be watching your mailbox for them. I’ll be shipping them out just as soon as they arrive at my house. You can get your hands on the new products early too. How many of you struggle from crafters block? I’m always struggling. I come up with ideas right before I fall asleep and tell myself I’ll remember that one. I go for a walk and come up with an idea, but by the time I get home it’s gone. I scroll through Pinterest to see ideas that are out there and right when I come up with something, either someone interrupts me or one of my dogs decide that would be the perfect time to go out. What kind of things do you do to get past the crafters block?

Stampin’ Up! Moonlit Flora

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Our concert for last night got postponed because of the weather here. We had multiple server thunderstorms throughout the day and then we had a tornado watch. We’ll see when it gets rescheduled.

Today’s card is similar to a card front last week, but I rotated it in a different direction. Here’s my card for today.

Emboss a panel of Golden Glow using the Fern & Flora EF. Adhere the embossed panel to the Golden Glow card base.

Adhere the 2 panels of Moonlit Flora DSP to the panel of Basic White. Wrap a piece of Golden Glow 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon around the layered panel and tie a bow.

Adhere the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a Dewdrop Embellishment to the card front.

Stamp the moth image from the Fern & Flora stamp set next to the sentiment and the floral mage on the bottom of the panel in Secret Sea Ink. Color the image using Golden Glow and Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere a strip of Moonlit Flora DSP to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Peaceful Pine mat then to the inside of the Golden Glow card base.

Good Saturday morning stamping friends, welcome to the weekend. What kind of plans do you have for the weekend? I’ll be working all day today, then tonight we have tickets to a concert. It’s outdoor, so we’re hoping the weather holds out. Last I heard we’re supposed to have server thunderstorms with heavy winds. We’ll see what happens.

I’ve updated my retirement list with a LOT of new products. They are marked at least 50% off the original price. Stamp sets are gently used and might have some stains on them. The 2026 back-to-school sales tax holiday season is upon us!  During select dates in July and August, thirteen states and Puerto Rico are offering a sales tax holiday for school supplies.

Good news: this includes select Stampin’ Up! products!  According to state statutes, “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes” are eligible.

Twelve states and Puerto Rico are having Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!

Stampin’ Up! September – December 2025 Mini Catalog & September Online Exclusive Shares Open to Order

Good Friday morning stamping friends. I’m hoping to be back later today with a card. My big preorder arrived yesterday, and it took me most of the morning to get all the catalogs packed up and shipped out to all my customers. Then I got to open my huge box of goodies. I think this is my favorite mini catalog in a while. I want it ALL!!! How my shares work:  I order full packs of all of the Designer Series Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ X 6″ pieces (or 6″ X 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list.  I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the Name, Item # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can!

God Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week. I hope you a had a great weekend!! We all went to the baseball game Saturday night, it’s always so much fun getting together outside of work with all my fellow employees. It was the Yankees minor league game, the Patriots, which they are located about 10 minutes from my home. They won the game and it was ended by a great firework display.

Color the image using Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stamp the sentiment from Charming Day stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the leaf and flower images from the Charming Day stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the corners of the panel. Color the images with Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Timid Tiger mat then to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base.

Good Saturday morning stamping friends, welcome to the weekend. What kind of plans do you have for the weekend? I’ll be working all day today and tomorrow Tara and I will be holding our Sweet Jar of Joy Online Zoom class. We’re super excited about this class and can’t wait to make the cards with everyone who signed up.

I used the Stampin’ Up! With You IN Mind Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Paper Tags Cling Stamp Set, Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder and Blackberry Bliss Two-Tone Cardstock for my card today.

Emboss a panel of Blackberry Bliss Tow-Tone cardstock using the Pressed Flowers EF. Stamp the sentiment from With You in Mind stamp set in Versamark Ink on the top of the panel. Sprinkle the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool.

With a very fine piece of sandpaper or a craft sanding block, lightly go over the embossed portion of the card front to bring out the core white. Adhere the embossed panel to a Basic White mat.

Wrap a piece of White 1/4″ Starter Ribbon around the layered panel and tie a bow. Adhere the layered panel to a Basic White Thick card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Iridescent Faceted Gems to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Paper Tags stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere the panel of Blackberry Bliss Two-Tone Cardstock to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

Finish your card by decorating a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the sentiment from Paper Tags stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the envelope front. Emboss a panel of the Blackberry Bliss Tow-Tone cardstock using the Pressed Flowers EF. Use the sanding block to lighten the image and adhere it to the envelope flap.

Registration Open for our August Online Technique Class

Tara Carpenter, Nicole Bloxom and I are teaming up to offer a fun Technique Online Zoom Class.  We will be creating 6 different cards using 6 different techniques.  This class is free with a $50 purchase from my Online Store.  We will supply a list of supplies we are going to be using in the next couple days. We decided to open registration early so you can take advantage of the Free Shipping and my Double Rewards and also earn a free class.

The class requirements and What You Will Receive:

The class will be held on Sunday August 24th from 1pm – 5pm Eastern Time via Zoom.  This will allow everyone all over the United States to participate live!

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How did your week start off? After my busy weekend and start of a new week, I’m hoping to play catch up today since I have off.

I played with the Blending Brushes today and an Embossing Folder. Here’s my card for today.

Emboss a Basic White panel using the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder. Using the Blending Brushes, add Summer Splash Ink to the bottom of the panel. On the top portion, add Lemon Lolly, fresh Freesia and Highland Heather Inks with the Blending Brushes. Adhere the colored embossed panel to a Highland Heather card base.
