Adhere a panel of Brushed with Beauty DSP to an Early Espresso mat. Adhere the layered panel to the Crumb Cake card front.

Adhere another panel of Brushed with Beauty DSP to an Early Espresso mat. Adhere the layered panel to the front of the small card base. Using the Words of Beauty Dies, cut the detailed sentiment form a pane of Crumb Cake and the sentiment mat from a panel of Early Espresso. Adhere the detailed sentiment to the sentiment mat. Cut 2 of the large leaf dies using the Petals of Beauty Dies from a panel of Brushed with Beauty DSP. Stamp the large, detailed flower image from the Petals of Beauty stamp set in Basic Beige Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla 2 times. Stamp the flower center image from Petals of Beauty stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink in the center of the flowers. Cut the flowers out using the Petals of Beauty Dies.

Adhere the leave die cuts to the small card front with Glue Dots. Adhere the 2 flowers over the leaves. Adhere the layered sentiment over the leaves and flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Pearls of Beauty to the small card front.

Adhere a panel of Brushed with Beauty DSP to an Early Espresso mat. Adhere the layered panel to the inside of the large card base. Adhere the small card base to the inside of the large card base, centering it on the panel. Stamp the sentiment from Words of Beauty stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. Stamp the small, detailed flower image from the Petals of Beauty stamp set on the bottom of the panel 3 times in Basic Beige Ink. Stamp the flower centers in Crumb Cake Ink. Adhere the Very Vanilla panel to an Early Espresso mat then to the inside of the small Crumb Cake card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the small, detailed flower image from the Petals of Beauty stamp set in Basic Beige Ink on the envelope front. Stamp the flower center image from the Petals of Beauty stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the flowers. Adhere a panel of Brushed with Beauty DSP to the envelope flap.

Emboss a panel of Real Red Two-Tone cardstock using the Ladybug Picnic EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Basic Black card base.

Using the Springtime Scenes Dies, cut panels of Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist with the detailed leaf die. Cut a panel of Garden Green with the solid background circle die. Cut the ladybugs from panels of Basic Black and Real Red. Cut the flowers from Daffodil Delight (for the flower centers) and Pretty in Pink. Adhere the Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green die cuts on the Garden Green die cut. Adhere the Real Red ladybug on top of the Basic Black ladybug body. Adhere the ladybugs to the layered leaf circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the tiny Pretty in Pink Flowers to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals and add the Daffodil Delight centers. Adhere a panel of Real Red Two-Tone cardstock that was embossed with the Ladybug Picnic EF, to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the DSP banner to the Secret Sea banner. Adhere the small square panel of Lovely Blossoms DSP to a Secret Sea mat. Adhere the layered strip to the card front panel horizontally. Adhere the layered banner to the card front vertically. Adhere the layered panel to a Cloud Cover mat. Adhere the layered panels to a Secret Sea card base.

Using the Lovely Arrangement Dies, cut the flower image, the sentiment and the leaves from a panel of Lovely Blossoms DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Peace on Earth

Good Saturday morning stamping friends. We are having the best time every here in GA. We’ve been doing a lot of laughing, catching up and eating. There’s always a lot of eating going on when we’re together. Yesterday started with James’ delicious Blueberry French toast and homemade Hash Browns. Lunch was a little lighter with a Baked Potato bar & Salad. We had an amazing Dijon-Crusted Roast Pork Loin with Cranberry & Apple Chutney along with his famous Carrot Souffle (which he really needs to make a double batch of), Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Spinach & Mushroom Risotto.

Today’s card is one of the cards I prepared for our shoebox card swap. We all have to bring a card for everyone else to make at the retreat. Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday!! Are you getting ready for the weekend? I was finally able to get outside and do some weeding and dead heading to my flowers yesterday. I spent about 5 hours outside and only made a small dent. I decided it was time to call it quits when it was 85 with a real feel of 100, and it was going up to over 90. This morning I’m heading out really early again to do the same in my backyard gardens. It’s supposed to be in the upper 90’s today. Hopefully I won’t be out there as long.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Centerpiece Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Pattern of Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set, Country Woods Designer Series Paper and Textured Notes Dies for my card today.

I got this template from Mary Deatherage which made assembling the card super easy.

Score and fold the Gray Granite card base at 1″, 2″, 3″ & 4″. Add the 3 panels of Country Woods DSP to the center 3 sections. Add Tear & Tape on the 1st scored section (see the image above). Adhere the panel of Country Woods DSP to the larger section of the card base. Adhere the first section to the back panel making a cube.

Stamp the succulent image from the Rustic Centerpiece stamp set in tuxedo Black Ink towards the bottom of the Basic White panel. Color the image with Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Lost Lagoon, Petal Pink and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers. Stamp the sentiment from Pattern of Friendship stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on the top of the panel.

Using the 2nd largest Textured Notes Dies, cut a panel of Gray Granite. Adhere the artwork to the center of the die cut panel. Adhere the layered panel to the tower section of the card base using adhesive only on a small section on the back left of the panel. Add a few Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Pattern of Friendship stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink mat then to the back of the card base.

Sales Tax Holiday
