Stampin’ Up! Sunset Coast Lighthouse for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful week. We’re halfway through and on our way to the weekend. We made it home safely from the Incentive trip, now to get back to normal life.

Today’s card is for the inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo #228a is Summer By The Sea. There are 2 Inspiration Photos this month, the other is #228b Christmas in July. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sunset Coast Bundle and the Scenic Coast 6 x 6 Specialty Designer Series Paper for my card today. I was inspired by the overall theme along with the lighthouses and colors in the photo for my Clean & Layered Card.

Adhere a panel of Hydrangea Hue to the Night of Navy card base. Using the Everyday Arches Dies, cut a panel of Night of Navy with the 2nd largest die and a panel of Scenic Coast DSP with the 3rd largest die. Adhere the die cut DSP panel to the Night of Navy die cut panel. Adhere the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Sunset Coast Dies, cut the lighthouse from a panel of Night of Navy, the birds from a panel of Smoky Slate and the seashells from a panel of Crumb Cake and scraps of Scenic Coast DSP. Trim the lighthouse from the circle. Adhere the lighthouse to the bottom of the die cut DSP so the bottom edges are even, with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the starfish and shells along the bottom of the die cut arches. Adhere the birds in the sky.

Stamp the sentiment from Sunset Coast stamp set in Hydrangea Hue Ink on a panel of Basic White. Cut the sentiment out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots. Add Sunset Sparkle Sequins to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Sunset Coast stamp set in Hydrangea Hue Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the water images from the Sunset Coast stamp set in Night of Navy and Hydrangea Hue Inks on the bottom of the panel. Stamp the sailboat images from the Sunset Coast stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink on the water. Adhere the birds around the sentiment. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Hydrangea Hue mat then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base

Decorate a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the water image from the Sunset Coast stamp set in Night of Navy and Hydrangea Hue Inks on the envelope front. Stamp the sailboat in Cherry Cobbler Ink on the water. Adhere a panel of Scenic Coast DSP to the envelope flap.

How my shares work:  I order full packs of all of the Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ X 6″ pieces (or 6″ X 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list.  I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the Name, Item # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can!

Using 2 different sizes of the Everyday Arches Dies, cut a panel of Peaceful Pine using the larger one and a panel of Waterside Retreat DSP using the smaller one. Adhere the DSP panel to the Peaceful Pine mat. Adhere the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Cut a panel of Basic White using the 1 3/4′ Circle Punch, a panel of Peaceful Pine using the 1 7/8″ Circle Punch and a panel of Gray Granite using the 2″ Circle Punch. On the Basic White circle, stamp the sentiment from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set in Peaceful Pine Ink. Stamp the grass image from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set in Gray Granite Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on the bottom of the circle. Adhere the Basic White circle to the Peaceful Pine circle then to the Gray Granite circle. Tie a multi loop bow from Linen Thread and adhere it to the card front. Adhere the layered sentiment to the card front over the Linen Thread bow using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the die cut panel of Basic White, stamp the floral image from the Delicate Whispers stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink. Color the image using Hydrangea Hue and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers. Stamp the sentiment from the All Aflutter stamp set in Hydrangea Hue Ink on the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to the Hydrangea Hue mat. Stamp the detailed butterfly image from the All Aflutter stamp set on a panel of Basic White in Crumb Cake Ink. Stamp the solid butterfly image from All Aflutter stamp set in Crisp Cantaloupe Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the detailed image. Cut the butterflies out using the All Aflutter Punch.

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re already halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend. I know this was a short week for some because of the weather. It’s a normal week for me, even though we got a lot of snow, the store was open Monday morning, just a couple hours later than normal to give everyone time to get in.

Today’s card I let the DSP do all the work for me. I love the Stampin’ Up! DSP, it gives me colors to use and makes card fronts all by itself. Stamp the sentiment from Layers of Beauty stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Cajun Craze. Sprinkle the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Adhere the layered card front to an Old Olive card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere 2 strips of Cute as a Bug DSP to the sides of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Cajun Craze mat then to the inside of the Old Olive card base.

From scraps of Full of Life DSP cut 5 of the smallest Everyday Arches Dies. From a panel of Country Wood DSP, cut 5 of the long ovals from the More Messages Dies. Adhere the long oval die cuts to the Everyday Arches die cuts with Glue Dots to make ice pops. Adhere one of the ice pops to the card front with Glue Dots. Adhere the other 2 ice pops to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Tie a small bow with the Strawberry Slush twine from the Pack Your Bags Twine Three-Pack. Adhere the bow to the bottom of the card front with a Glue Dot. Adhere the layered sentiment over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few 2024-2026 In-Color Flat Pearls to the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. I hope you all had a wonderful week and are looking forward to the weekend.

I received my Online Exclusive Preorder yesterday and I didn’t know what to play with first. The first thing on my list was the new embossing folder, so I thought I’d start with that. I did pair it up with some DSP that is available now. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Online Exclusive Products coming July 1st for today’s card. The Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful Cling Stamp Set, Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Up! Prairie Grass Cling Stamp Set along with the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper and Everyday Arches Dies.

Start by folding the Old Olive card base into an accordion fold. Adhere 3 panels of Floral Impressions DSP to each panel with Stampin’ Seal. Cut 3 panels of Old Olive using the 3rd larges Everyday Arches Dies.

Cut a panel of Darling Duckling using the 4th largest Everyday Arches Dies. Stamp the sentiment from Label Me Grateful stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the top of the panel. Emboss the panel using the new Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. Using the Small Blending Brush, add Pecan Pie Ink to the sunflower centers. Adhere the embossed panel to one of the Old Olive die cut arches with Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered panel to the front of the Old Olive card base with Tear & Tape.

Adhere the layered panel to the back section of the Old Olive card base with Tear & Tape.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Adhere a strip of Floral Impressions DSP to the front of the envelope and a panel to the envelope flap.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Inspiring Imperfections Bundle along with the Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty Designer Series Paper, Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder and Everyday Arches Dies for my card today.

Emboss a Misty Moonlight card front, with the Joined Together EF. Using the Everyday Arches Dies, cut a panel of Kintsugi Inspirations DSP. Adhere the die cut panel to the card front hanging it off the left side of the card front. trim excess with Paper Snips. Adhere the layered panel to the Misty Moonlight card base with Liquid Glue.

Using the Small Blending Brush, add Old Olive Ink to the panel of Kintsugi Inspirations DSP. On the panel of Cloud Cover, stamp the large vase image from the Stampin’ Up! Inspiring Imperfections Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the image with Clear Embossing Powder and set it with Heat Tool. Using the Inspiring Imperfections Dies, cut the small bow from the Old Olive colored DSP, the large vase from the Cloud Cover and Basic Beige panels and the flowers from a panel of Kintsugi Inspirations DSP. On the Basic Beige vase, stamp the flower image from the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the image with Gold Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool. Adhere the vases and flowers on the card front using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Inspiring Imperfections Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Flower Accents to the card front.

Adhere the Basic White panel to a Cloud Cover mat then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base.

Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week. How was your weekend. We ended up having a beautiful one here. Yesterday the humidity lifted and it turned out to be a beautiful breezy day.

Using the 6th largest Everyday Arches Dies (expected back in stock the 1st week of June), cut out the center of the Pretty in Pink panel. Score the sides of the panel at 1/4″, 1/2″, 3 3/8″ & 3 5/8″. Emboss the panel using the Exposed Brick EF. Fold the sides on the score lines and adhere it to the card front with Tear & Tape.

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend already.

Today’s card is for the inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. We do a month-long challenge, so you have all month to enter multiple times.  The inspiration photo #216 is Spring Celebrations. Here’s my card for today.

Arched Wishes Cling Stamp Set along with the Everyday Arches Dies, Brights 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and the Pastel Ombre Glimmer Specialty Paper, for my Clean and Layered card today. I was inspired by the beautiful pastel colors along with the balloons, cupcakes and tropical leaves in the photo.

Fussy cut the cupcake using Paper Snips. Stamp the balloon image from the Arched Wishes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink 3 times on the panel of Basic White. Fussy cut the balloons using Paper Snips. Stamp the top of the balloon image on the 3 panels of Pastel Ombre Glimmer Paper in Tuxedo Black Ink. Fussy cut them using Paper Snips.

Adhere the Glimmer balloons to the 3 balloons using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the balloons to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the cupcake to the card front lining up the candle with the astric, using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

Adhere a strip of Brights DSP to the top of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat then to the inside of the Granny Apple Green card base.

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. I hope you are all doing well today. I’m still so exhausted from the weekend.

Today’s card I have a little sneak peek for you of something coming in the new 2025 – 2026 Annual Catalog. I received this set as my Prize Patrol on Saturday. As soon as I saw the rose in the set, I thought about my daughter’s friend who love Beauty and The Beast. My daughter needed a birthday card for her, so that’s what I used. Stamp the sentiment from Simply Said stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink on a Basic White card front. Emboss the panel using the Layered Florals EF.

Final Week to Register for Our Online Zoom Class

Tara and I are teaming up to do a Masculine Online Zoom Class on Sunday April 27th featuring the Stampin’ Up! Framed Scenes Bundle. I always seem to struggle with masculine cards, and I know a lot of others do too. We will be making 6 different cards featuring the bundle which is pictured below.

The class will be held on Zoom on Sunday April 27th from 1pm – 5pm ET.

The class fee includes:

  • 6 complete Pre-Cut card kits with envelopes so they are ready to mail when you’re done.
  • Full pack of Natural Matte Dots
  • Full pack of Linen Thread
  • Zoom class with complete step by step instructions to complete each card as we go.
  • PDF with detailed directions and photos
  • A Link to the recorded class after we are done so you can watch it again and make more cards.

When you sign up for the class, you will see that you can add additional items needed to make the cards in the class if you do not already have them. These items are optional to add on, but we will be using the items to create the cards. We are offering the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Framed Scenes Bundle at an additional 10% discount when you order it through me during sign up.

The class will be held on Zoom and anyone in the United States is welcome to purchase the class and join us! If you are unable to join us for the live event, but would still like to participate in the class, we will be recording the session so you can watch the replay any time and make the cards. We will also be emailing written tutorials with instructions and cardstock cuts so that you will have a reference too.

Class Cost: $35.00 + $9.00 priority shipping (additional products will be added to the cost for the products) and invoices will be sent out by March 27th.
