Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. This month is flying by, I wish it would slow down a bit. TODAY starts Double Stampin’ Rewards from Stampin’ Up! I hope you have those shipping lists together to get your double rewards. I’ll be getting my order in as soon as I get home from work today.

For the past few days, I’ve been creating and re-creating cards featuring the Radiant Sunflowers Bundle and Sunflower Fields DSP. I’m so excited for all the cards I’ve created for my class. I’ve gotten 10 cards done and I’m loving them all. Details about my class re below. Here’s my card today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder along with the Stampin’ Up! Radiant Sunflowers Stamp Set (avail Sept 1) and Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper (avail Sept 1) for my card today.

Emboss a panel of Cajun Crae using the Sunflower EF. Using the White Craft Ink Pad, swipe it across the panel to highlight the leaves and flower petals and let dry. Adhere the embossed panel to a Cajun Craze card base.

Adhere a panel of Sunflower Fields DSP to the embossed panel. On a panel of Cajun Craze, stamp the sentiment from the Radiant Sunflowers stamp set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Cut the end of the sentiment on an angle using the Detail Scissors. Adhere the sentiment over the panel of DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Tie a small bow using the new Mossy Medow/Very Vanilla 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon (avail Sept 1). Adhere the bow to the card front. Add a few Radiant Gems (avail Sept 1) to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from Radiant Sunflowers stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the sunflower image from the Radiant Sunflowers stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on the corners. Color the images with Pecan Pie and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink Two-Tone mat then to the inside of the Cajun Craze card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish the card. Stamp the sunflower image from the Radiant Sunflowers stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on the envelope front. Color the image with Pecan Pie and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere a panel of Sunflower Fields DSP to the envelope flap.

Creative Stamping Designs Class by Mail

Introducing a Creative Stamping Designs Class by Mail. As a lot of you know I love my Sunflowers and when they came out with the Sunflower Fields Suite I knew I wanted it immediately. I’ve decided to offer a Class by Mail and I’d love for you to join in. I spent all day Sunday designing cards just for this class and I hope you love them!! I created 10 different cards featuring products from the suite along with a couple other products. Emboss 2 panels of Darling Duckling using the Sunflower EF. Swipe across the embossed panels using the White Craft Stamp Pad. Adhere the panels to the Early Espresso card base. Adhere a panel of Everyday Essentials DSP to the Early Espresso bridge panel. Using the Bone Folder, curve the layered panel from the back. Adhere the layered panel to the bottom of the card front. Adhere a panel of the Everyday Essentials DSP to the panel of Early Espresso. Score the DSP where the Early Espresso is scored. Adhere the layered panel to the card front , lining up the score lines of the smaller panel and card base.

On a panel of Basic Whtie, stamp the scarecrow, haystack, flag and sunflower images from the Fun For Fall stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. Stamp the sentiment from the Fun For Fall stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the flag. Stamp the crow image from the Fun For Fall stamp set in Black Ink. Color the images using Crumb Cake, Darling Duckling, Golden Glow, Ivory, Misty Moonlight, Pecan Pie, Poppy Parade, Old Olive and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. Using the Fun For Fall Dies, cut all the images out. Fold the 2 – 1″ pieces of Early Espresso in half and adhere them with folded edges against the score line of the center panel. Adhere the scarecrow to the 2 folded panels. Adhere the haystack, sunflowers and flag to the card front. Adhere the crow to the scarecrow’s hand with a Glue Dot. Add a few Earthy Matte Dots to the card front

On one of the Basic White panels, stamp the sentiment from the Fun For Fall stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. Stamp the sunflower image from the Fun For Fall stamp set on the bottom of both panels of Basic White in Early Espresso Ink. Color the images with Darling Duckling and Peacn Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere a panel of Everyday Essentials DSP to the bottom of each panel. Adhere the Basic White panels to Darling Duckling mats then to the back of the Early Espresso card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to complete the card. Stamp the sunflower image from the Fun For Fall stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope front. Color the images with Darling Duckling and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. Stamp the grass image from the Fun For Fall stamp set in Old Olive Ink at the base of each flower. Adhere a panel of Everyday Essentials DSP to the envelope flap.

Good snowy Wednesday morning stamping friends. Yup, another 2″ of snow to shovel this morning. At this rate, I’m not going to see my lawn and gardens until May. I hope you are having a good week; we’re already halfway through it and this is the last week of February.

For today’s card I did some dry embossing on Vellum. As a lot of you know, I’m not a fan of orange, but I love Timid Tiger. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder along with the Stampin’ Up! Paradise Garden Stamp Set (available March 3), Vellum Specialty Paper and Stampin’ Up! Notes & Totes Stamp Set for my card today.

Emboss a panel of Vellum Paper using the Sunflower EF. On the back of the embossed panel, color the sunflower centers using the Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere the embossed panel to a panel of Timid Tiger.

Punch the sentiment out using the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. Punch a mat from a panel of Petal Pink using the 1 7/8″ Circle Punch. Adhere the sentiment to the mat. Adhere the layered sentiment to the card front over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Sunflower for Fun Fold Friday.

Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. I hope you all had a great week. Amy and I arrived in GA yesterday for our retreat. We headed to Mary’s and then drove with Mary and Janet up to the cabin. The fun started immediately when everyone started to arrive. It was so exciting seeing everyone again. Once we all got unpacked, we set up our stations in the craft room. Everyone was passing out their little gifts to each other and the chatting and laughing began. Before we knew it, it was time for a delicious dinner of Beef Lasagna, Roasted Broccoli, Lemon-Garlic Grilled Zucchini, Honey-Garlic-Siracha Cauliflower and of course Garlic Bread. We had an amazing Creme Brulé for dessert. We sat around the table for a few hours after dinner and laughed till our sides were aching.

I have a quick fun fold card for you today focusing mainly on the embossing folder. Here’s my card for today.

Emboss 2 panels of the Earthen Toned Metallic Paper using the Sunflower EF. Adhere the embossed panels to the Basic Beige card base.

Wrap a Basic Beige belly band around the card and adhere the ends in the front. Wrap a piece of Old Olive Linen Thread around the belly band 3 times and tie a bow. Stamp the sentiment on a panel of Basic Beige in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the sentiment with Bronze Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool. Cut the sentiment out using the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. Using the 1 7/8″ Circle Punch, cut a panel of the Earthen Toned Metallic Paper. Adhere the sentiment to the Metallic mat then to the belly band. Add a few Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Amber Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Basic Beige. Stamp the leaf image from the Gathering Moments stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the top of the panel. Adhere an embossed panel of the Earthen Toned Metallic Paper to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic Beige panel to an Earthen Toned Metallic mat then to the inside of the Basic Beige card base.

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you are all having a great weekend. It’s the last day of August, which means I have to work in the office today.

Emboss a panel of Strawberry Slush Two-Tone Cardstock using the Sunflower EF. Lightly rub over the entire panel using a sanding block.

Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the ribbon. Add a few 2025-2027 In-Color Flat Pearls to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from You Are Remarkable stamp set in Secret Sea Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the splatter image from the You Are Remarkable stamp set in Strawberry Slush Ink around the sentiment. Emboss a small panel of the Two-Tone cardstock using the Sunflower EF. Rub it lightly with the sanding block and adhere the panel to the bottom of the Basic White panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Secret Sea mat then to the inside of the Strawberry Slush card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the stem/leaf image from the You Are Remarkable stamp set in granny Apple Green Ink on the envelope front. Stamp the flower image in Strawberry Slush Ink on the stem and the flower center in Crumb Cake Ink. Stamp the splatter image from the You Are Remarkable stamp set in Secret Sea Ink around the flower. Emboss a panel of Strawberry Slush Two-Tone cardstock using the Sunflower EF. Gently rub the panel with the sanding block. Adhere the embossed panel to the envelope flap.

Cut the center out of a panel of Petunia Pop with the 3rd largest Textured Notes Dies. Put the panel back together and emboss the panel with the Sunflower EF.

Cut a panel of Darling Duckling using the 4th largest Everyday Arches Dies. Stamp the sentiment from Label Me Grateful stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the top of the panel. Emboss the panel using the new Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. Using the Small Blending Brush, add Pecan Pie Ink to the sunflower centers. Adhere the embossed panel to one of the Old Olive die cut arches with Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered panel to the front of the Old Olive card base with Tear & Tape.

Cut a panel of Floral Impressions DSP using the 4th largest Everyday Arches Dies. Adhere the panel to an Old Olive die cut panel with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the center section of the Old Olive card base with Tear & Tape.

cut a panel of Basic White with the 4th largest Everyday Arches Dies. Stamp the sentiment from Label Me Grateful stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. Stamp the grass image from the Prairie Grass stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to an Old Olive die cut arch with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the back section of the Old Olive card base with Tear & Tape.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Adhere a strip of Floral Impressions DSP to the front of the envelope and a panel to the envelope flap.

Karen & Tara’s Cheers & Sips Online Zoom Class Registration Open

Tara Carpenter and I are teaming up to offer a fun online class using Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Cheers & Sips Bundle.  We will be creating 6 different cards during the class including 2 fun folds.

The class fee includes:

  • Stampin’ Up! Holographic Resin Dots (full pack)
  • Stampin’ Up! Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon (full pack)
  • Pre-cut card kits to complete each card
  • Zoom class with complete instructions to complete each card
  • PDF with detailed directions

During sign up you will have the option to add additional items to your order that you can take advantage of at no additional shipping cost.  These items are optional, however if you want to recreate the cards you will need them.

The class will be held Sunday June 29th from 1 to 5 pm Eastern Time via Zoom.  This allows anyone in the United States to participate live!  Can’t join us live… no worries, we will record the session so it can be replayed at any time.
