Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Hello for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How is everyone doing today?  We have a couple new hoppers with our group. Welcome Julie Johnson and Nicole Bloxom, so excited that you joined us.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have sketch challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects .
Here is the fun sketch we had to work from.

Here is my card using this sketch.

I played along with the Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Challenge #506.  I went across the top. Here is their board.

I also joined in with Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #129. Their theme is ‘Just Saying Hello’.

I started by cutting 5 each of the smallest square from the Layering Squares Dies in Cajun Craze Cardstock, Crumb Cake Cardstock and Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I embossed the Cajun Craze squares using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder and I embossed the Crumb Cake squares using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder.

I arranged the squares on a panel of Copper Brushed Metallic Paper and adhered them using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped 3 of the outline maple leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cajun Craze Ink and the fill image of the maple leaf in Cajun Craze Ink, stamped off once, over the outline image.  I stamped 2 of the outline oak leaf image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Bumblebee Ink and the fill image of the oak leaf in Bumblebee Ink, stamped off once, over the outlined image.  I stamped 3 of the acorn outline image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped the fill images of the acorn in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off once, for the top and Crumb Cake Ink, stamped off once, for the bottom.  I stamped 2 of the pinecone outline image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off once, and the fill image from the pinecone image in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off twice, over the outlined image.  Using the Autumn Punch Pack I punched out the acorns, maple leaves and oak leaves, I fussy cut the pinecones using my Paper Snips.

I adhered the acorns, leaves and pinecones on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals in each cardstock square.  I wrapped a piece of Mint Macaron Basket Weave Ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, around the metallic card front adhering it in the back using Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a piece of the Metallic ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack around the basket weave ribbon and tied a bow.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using my Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Very Vanilla card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment and card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the acorn, leaves and pinecone images from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set around the sentiment the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Cajun Craze mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the acorn, leaves and pinecone images from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered a panel of the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Anniversary Rose for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday and a holiday weekend.  Hopefully most of you have today off for a nice long weekend and have some fun plans ahead.  I don’t normally work on Friday’s, so I’m off today and tomorrow.  This is one of the few holidays that our store is closed, and it’s been like this for 60+ years YAY!!

So, did you ever have one of those days you had all planned out and nothing went as planned.  That was yesterday for me.  I made a To Do List as soon as I got up at 5am (yes I’m an early bird).  I knew everything I had to get done and I knew I had plenty of time to get it all done.  Then vertigo hit followed by a panic attack.  I’ve never had an episode before so I didn’t know what was happening.  Long story short, I only got 1 thing done on my list and was not happy. Guess today’s another day to try.

For today’s fun fold I tried another one I’ve never done before.  I can’t remember what it’s called, so I’m calling it a flip card.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors, once again, were inspired by some roses I have.  I ordered plants a couple years ago and they sent me a free St. Patrick’s Day rose bush.  It looked dead when I got it, but I planted it anyway.  I had no clue what color, I thought it would be orange or green.  Here’s what I got.

This was the 1st rose of the season.

I went out yesterday to these 2 beauties.

I was amazed how the same plant could have 2 different color roses on it, 1st to the 2nd 2.

I started by cutting out the front of a Pear Pizzazz card base using the 2nd largest square from the Layering Squares Dies and set the square to the side.  I randomly stamped the outline leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink around on the card front.

I stamped the rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using my Wild Rose Dies.  I cut the 3rd largest square from the Layering Squares Dies out of the panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped it multiple times with the outline leaf image from the To a Wild Rose stamp set.  I colored the leaves in using my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the 3rd largest scallop square out of a panel of Gray Granite cardstock using my Layering Squares Dies.

On the panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Cling Stamp Set in Gray Granite Ink and cut the sentiment out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Gray Granite scallop square to the Pear Pizzazz square I cut out from the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the stamped Whisper White panel on top of the Gray Granite square using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the die cut rose to the Whisper White  square using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front and 1 to the rose.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set in Gray Granite Ink on a Thick Whisper White panel.  I used Thick Whisper White because I knew this was the part that would be opened and closed and get a lot of wear.  I stamped the outlined leaf image from the To a Wild Rose stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink, some full strength and some stamped off.  I stamped the rose image from the To a Wild Rose stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiment.  I adhered a Gray Granite panel to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I scored the Thick Whisper White panel at 2″ & 4″ and adhered it to the top left of the Gray Granite panel using Tear & Tape just on the right 2″ X 4 1/4″ part.  I accordion folded the Whisper White panel and closed the card front on top of it.  I adhered the artwork to the Whisper White panel through the square on the card front, fitting it back in where it came out of.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the outlined rose image from the To a Wild Rose stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the outlined leaf image from the To a Wild Rose stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink around the rose and on the envelope flap, some full strength and some stamped off.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you all have a very safe and fun 4th of July.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Lacey Wild Rose

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  I sure hope everyone staying healthy.  Last week I got a new light for my crafting table, which meant I had to rearrange and clean my table.  While doing so, I came across bits and pieces of cards that I had lying around and never did anything with.  I decided to put some of them to good use and create a card from what I had lying around.  Here’s what I came up with using some of the pieces.

I had an Old Olive panel which I had embossed using the new Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered a Whisper White panel which I had cut using the Stitched Lace Die, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of Seaside Spray 1/4″ Metallic Ribbon around the card front and tied a bow.  I adhered the card front to an Old Olive card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in Seaside Spray Ink.  I cut the panel out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I had a rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set which I had stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I also had some leaves from To A Wild Rose stamp set which I had stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The images were all cut using the Wild Rose Dies.  I adhered the die cut rose to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added the leaves under my rose using Glue Dots.  I added a few  Seaside Spray 2019-2021 In- Color Faceted Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.   I stamped the leaf image from To A Wild Rose stamp set by the rose and on the top of the panel.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Old Olive mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the rose and leaf images from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to the envelope front and envelope flap.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Check your craft area, I bet you may have bits and pieces of cards you started and didn’t do anything with.  See what you can come up with.  We all have a lot of extra time since we’re not supposed to be going out, so it’s the perfect time to clean up our area.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Strong and Beautiful Wild Rose CAS Card

Good Saturday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone doing today with your social distancing?  Hope your weekend is starting off well and you are able to keep busy.  I’ve finally had extra time to spend at my craft table and I’ve been thrilled.  I know I don’t usually blog on the weekends, but I thought I’d start since we all have a little extra time lately.

I have a Clean and Simple card for you today.  Take a look.

My colors were inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #362.  Here are their colors.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #427.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a strip of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered the strip to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to a So Saffron card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock, using my Stamparatus, I stamped the outlined rose image from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the 2nd part of the rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink over the outlined image.  I stamped the 3rd part of the rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once, over the stamped image.  I cut the rose out using my Wild Rose Dies.  I adhered the rose to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front.  I adhered the card front to a Basic Black card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the 2nd rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the outlined image in Balmy Blue Ink.  I stamped the 3rd image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the stamped image in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a So Saffron mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I finished my card by decorating a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the outlined rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope and on the envelope flap.  I stamped the 2nd rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the outlined image in Balmy Blue Ink.  I stamped the 3rd rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink over the stamped images, stamping off once.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Blue Wild Rose for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is upon us, have you made any plans yet?  Today we’re off to Epcot after a quick stop at Hollywood Studios again. The new Star Wars – Rise of the Resistance ride broke right when we got on yesterday (after waiting 9 hours for our que and over an hour on line).  We were rushed on to a ship, flown into space and taken by the Storm Troopers and it broke 😦   They gave us a ticket to go back to Hollywood Studios today and Fast Pass to go back on that ride.  I thought it was going to be a laid back day walking around Epcot, but plans have changed.  I’m sure I’ll be getting another 10 miles+ of walking in again.  My son wants to bring my daughter drinking around the world at Epcot,  guess I’m going to be the designated one to get everyone back to the hotel safely.  My daughter turned 21 last May and does not drink, this should be interesting.  I know we have Mission Space and Test Track on the agenda at Epcot for today.  My husband hasn’t mentioned Soaring yet.  That one got me a little nauseous last time we were here.  We’ll see what happens, just give me the Dramamine.

I have another new to me Overlay Fun Fold for you today using the beautiful Stampin’ Up To A Wild Rose Bundle.  I saw this card done by Lisa Curcio and thought I would CASE it. Here’s my card.

I started by scoring and folding a Seaside Spray card base.  The card base is 5 1/4″ X 5 1/2″  You need to score it so that you have a 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ card base.  I embossed a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the 4″ X 4″ Seaside Spray panel under the fold of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, lining up the bottom edges.  I adhered the embossed Crumb Cake panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a 5″ X 4 1/2″ panel of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the outlined rose image once and the outlined leaf image3 times from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the rose image in using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the leaf images in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my Wild Rose Dies.

I adhered the rose to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the leaves under the rose using Glue Dots.  I wrapped a piece of Seaside Spray 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon around the top of the card front and tied a square knot.  I’m not sure if I am going to use this card for Birthday, Mother’s Day, or any other occasion, so I didn’t put a sentiment on the front panel yet.  Once I decide I will stamp and punch a sentiment and adhere it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the outlined rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink, stamping off once, to the center of a Shimmery White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the rose image.  I adhered the Shimmery White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the outlined rose image from the To A Wild Rose stamp set on the envelope front.  I stamped the fill image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the outlined image in Seaside Spray Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the detail fill image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink over the other image.  I adhered a panel of the Seaside Spray 2019-2021 In-Color Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my fun fold card and will give it a try.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  we’ll be spending it at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios again.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s short week?  We’ve got another short week coming up after this weekend.  Other than a tiny bit of running around yesterday, I was able to have a relaxing day off.  My main work place told me not to come in since there really wasn’t going to be any work and the dog bakery that I work at was closed for the day.  I can’t complain about a couple days off since I have been working 7 days a week for the past month or so.

For today’s fun fold card I used some of the new DSP in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog available on January 3, 2020.  Sale-A-Bration is where you get free merchandise with a qualifying order.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in the center of a panel of Whisper White cardstock in Garden Green Ink.  On either side of the sentiment I stamped the 1st rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set in Lovely Lipstick Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the 2nd rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set in Lovely Lipstick Ink over the 1st image.  I stamped the 3rd rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the colored rose image.  I adhered the artwork to a Granny Apple Green Mat using Snail.

I folded a Granny Apple Green card base in half and then the front piece back and adhered a panel of the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (Sale-A-Bration item) to the top panel using Snail.  I wrapped a piece of the 3/8″ Linen Ribbon w/ White Edge from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack around the left side and tied a knot.  I adhered matted artwork to the card front half way across using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots to the artwork.

I adhered a panel of the Lily Impressions DSP to the inside of the card base using Snail.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from To a Wild Rose stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Garden Green Ink.  I stamped the rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set on either side of the sentiment the same as I did for the artwork on the front of the card.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat using Snail and then adhered it to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a panel of Lily Impressions DSP to the envelope flap

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Happy Stamping!!
