Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Easel Stand Up Card for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? What’s everyone doing for the weekend? As of now, I’m only working on Sunday, so I’m not sure what I’m doing Saturday yet. I have a lot of gardening to do, I just need to get the energy to start.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Petals Bundle for my Fun Fold card today.

I started with an 8″ X 8″ panel of So Succulent cardstock for my card base.  I scored it at 4″ then turned it and scored at 4″ again.  I then cut from the center down one side only.  On the top portion that was not cut I scored from the outside scored edges to the center top scored edge for the angle fold.  Using my Bone Folder I gave it a good crease on all the score lines.  The 2 straight score lines, I folded in and the 2 angle score lines I folded out.

I cut a panel of Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper in half to make 2 triangles for the outside folds.  I adhered the 2 triangle pieces of DSP to the outside folded pieces using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I took a 3″ X 6″ piece of Soft Succulent cardstock and folded it in half.  Using the 3rd largest scalloped circle from the Layering Circle Dies, I cut it out not putting the full circle on my paper, letting it hang over the folded edge about 1/4″ so that it would open up like a card.  I folded the top of the scallop circle up and in half meeting the little scallops to make the easel.  I cut another of the same size scallop circle from a piece of the Pansy Petals DSP and adhered it to the top section of the scallop circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using the small circle from the Layering Circle Dies I cut a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock to make the easel stopper.  Using my Pansy Dies, I cut the pansies pieces from a panel of Basic White cardstock, I cut the detailed pieces from a panel of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I cut the solid leaves from a panel of So Succulent cardstock and the detailed leaves from a panel of Evening Evergreen cardstock. I adhered the Blackberry Bliss pieces to the Basic White flower pieces using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then adhered the flower pieces together using Glue Dots. I adhered the detailed Evening Evergreen pieces to the Soft Succulent leaves using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered them to the back of the flower using Glue Dots. I added one of the Playing With Patterns Resin Dots to the center of the flower. I adhered the pansy to the DSP scalloped circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals making sure to place it so the card could close properly. I stamped the detailed pansy images from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the Basic White panel. I stamped the flower center in Daffodil Delight Ink. I stamped the leaf image in Soft Succulent Ink and the detailed leaf image over the solid image in Evening Evergreen Ink. I cut the images out using my Pansy Dies.  I adhered the stamped pansy to the small circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered a panel of Evening Evergreen to the right bottom panel of the card base using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a Square Vellum Doilie to the Evening Evergreen panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue just in the center. I adhered the easel piece to the center of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the easel stop piece in front of the easel piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added one of the adorable Bumblebee Trinkets by my pansy using a Glue Dot.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in the center of the panel in Blackberry Bliss. I stamped the 2nd sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink below the 1st. I stamped the detail images of the pansy from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the top of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to the card base, under the easel panel, using Stampin’ Seal.

The card folds up to a 4″ X 4″ square to fit into our Basic White Medium Envelope.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope.  I stamped the detailed pansy image from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Pansy Petal DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Products I used for my card today will be available on May 4th. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Thoughts Mother’s Day

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend. Hope you are starting to make plans.

Today’s card is another we made at our class last Monday. This one was a little different. I didn’t show the ladies the card. I handed them an envelope with all the card pieces cut out and gave them 2 stamp sets to choose from to work with and told them to create. One of them had Poppy Parade cardstock and ink and the other had Melon Mambo cardstock and ink. I used Flirty Flamingo for mine. Everyone had the same pieces of True Love Designer Series Paper to use. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the card designs they came up with. None were like mine. Here’s my card for today.

My card used the Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Thoughts Bundle. This bundle will be retiring soon, so if it’s one that you like now’s the time to grab it.

I started by embossing a Basic White card front using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Everyone had the same embossed panel to start with. I adhered s strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock to the back of the strip of True Love DSP using Stampin’ Seal and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the flower image from the Tranquil Thoughts stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink and cut it our using my Tranquil Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tranquil Thoughts stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the Basic White panel and cut it out using the Layering Circle Dies. I cut a panel of Flirty Flamingo cardstock using the next size up Layering Circle Dies and adhered the sentiment to the mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the flowers to the side of the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to a Flirty Flamingo card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the flower image from the Tranquil Thoughts stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Flirty Flamingo mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Flirty Flamingo card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower image from the Tranquil Thoughts stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the True Love DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month so that means Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. If you’ve hopped over from Karen Finkle’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “For Girls/For Ladies”.  We can interpret this however we want.  I decided to make a Mother’s Day Card using a new bundle coming in the 2021-2020 Annual Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Pansy Petals Bundle for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper to a Thick Basic White card base using Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the new Scalloped Contours Dies and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape Ink on the top of the die cut panel. Using my Pansy Dies, I cut a panel of Basic White, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Just Jade and Shaded Spruce cardstocks. I adhered the detailed Shaded Spruce Leaves to the solid Just Jade Leaves and the detailed Gorgeous Grape pansy pieces to the Basic White pansy using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Using my Blending Brush, I added a little Highland Heather Ink to the edges of the Highland Heather petal pieces then adhered them to the back of the pansy using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the small Highland Heather pansy bud piece to the Basic White bud piece and the Shaded Spruce piece to the Just Jade stem using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then adhered the pansy bud to the back.

I adhered the assembled flower to the scalloped die using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added one of the adorable Bumblebee Trinkets by the pansy bud using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the small detailed pansy image from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Gorgeous Grape Ink on the bottom of the panel twice. I stamped the pansy center in Bumblebee Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Gorgeous Grape mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the detailed pansy image from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Gorgeous Grape Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Pansy Petals DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Quick and Easy Card Pack

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. How has everyone’s weekend started off? I’ll be at work all day today and tomorrow. Last I heard, we will not be getting snow this weekend, but it’s still early to tell.

Today I have something a little different for you. I don’t have step by step instructions for you since I made a pack of cards. This would make a great gift for someone tied up with some ribbon or put in one of our Acetate Card Boxes and decorated. If you have any questions about any of the cards, please message me and I will explain how I made them. Here are the cards.

I used 1 sheet of the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and 1 sheet of the Golden Garden Designer Series Acetate to make all 6 cards. I placed the acetate over the DSP, tacked it in a couple places using Glue Dots and cut 4″ X 5 1/4″ panels.

This card I used So Saffron and Poppy Parade cardstock and just did a simple layering. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink and cut it our with the Messages Dies. Adhered it to Hippo and Friends die cut mat and adhered it to the card front.

This card I used Petal Pink and Terracotta Tile cardstock and just did a simple layering. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink and cut it our with the Label Me Fancy Punch and adhered it to the card front. Stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set in Petal Pink & Terracotta Tile, stem in Old Olive and cut images out with Floral Gallery Dies.

This card I used Bumblebee and Old Olive cardstock and just did a simple layering. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink, cut it our with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and adhered it to the card front. Stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set using my Bumblebee and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers and cut image out with Floral Gallery Dies.

This card I used Pool Party and Night of Navy cardstock and just did an angle layering. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink, cut it out with the Floral Gallery Dies and the large sentiment out of Night of Navy cardstock and adhered them to the card front.

This card I used Blushing Bride and Merry Merlot cardstock and just did a simple layering. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Merry Merlot Ink, cut it our with the Stitched Shapes Dies. I cut a scalloped mat from Merry Merlot cardstock using the Layering Ovals Dies, adhered the sentiment and adhered it to the card front.

This card I used Flirty Flamingo and Mossy Meadow cardstock and just did a simple layering. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink, cut it our with the Messages Dies. I cut an oval mat using the Layering Ovals Dies, adhered the sentiment and adhered it to the card front.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card pack and will try it. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Winter Dressed To Impress

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? It warmed up here this weekend a bit. I thought with the weather last week that we were going to get an early winter.

For today’s card I pulled out one of my favorite sets from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. A coworker asked me to make a good friend of hers a birthday card with shoes on it and she said her favorite colors were blues and purples. Here’s what I came up with.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper.

My design is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #462. Here is their sketch.

I also played along with the Double ‘D’ Challenge. Their theme is Winter Blues. Here is their mood board.

I started by adhering a panel of Snowflake Splendor DSP to a Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a stitched square out using the Stitched Shapes Dies. I stamped the smudge image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink, stamped off twice, in the center of the square. On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the shoe image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink twice. I colored the shoes in using my Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends Markers and cut the images out using my All Dressed Up Dies. I brushed Clear Wink of Stella on the shoes to give them a shimmer. I adhered the bottom shoe to the stitched square using Glue Dots and the top shoe using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut another stitched square out of a panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock using my Stitched Shapes Dies. I stamped the sentiment from Dressed To Impress stamp set in Versamark Ink on the top of the square. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.

I cut one last stitched square out of a panel of Purple Posy cardstock using my Stitched Shapes Dies. I embossed the panel using my Winter Snow Embossing Folder. I adhered the Purple Posy Square down first using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Misty Moonlight square next using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the square with the shoes on the top of the other 2 using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped 2 sentiments in the center of a Whisper White Panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. One of the sentiments is from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set and the other is from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set. I stamped the shoe image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set twice on the bottom of the panel. I colored the shoes in using my Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends Markers and brushed them with Clear Wink of Stella. I stamped the flower image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set on the top of the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored it in using my Just Jade and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Purple Posy mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the shoe and flower image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the images in using my Just Jade, Misty Moonlight and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers. I brushed Clear Wink of Stella on the shoes. I adhered a panel of Snowflake Splendor DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You Graduation Cards for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s short week?  We’re upon a weekend again and things are starting to open up slowly here.  The Jersey shores opened last weekend and I believe hair salons are opening up next week.  Time will tell.  I have to work both days this weekend, Sunday is the last of the month.  Where did May go???  What is everyone else doing this weekend?

For those of you who know me you know that I was a Girl Scout leader for 13 years.  Last week a couple of my girls that I was very close with graduated from college.  One with a nursing degree and one with a teaching degree.  I watched them grow from Kindergarten on up.  Also my daughter’s best friend graduated with honors with a Bachelors degree in behavioral science and a minor in history.  She is like a 2nd daughter to me.  I am so proud of all these girls, so of course I had to make them all graduation cards.  Unfortunately, some of the items I used have been sold out since before I could get my cards posted.  Most of you know I don’t do any 2 cards alike, but since they are all for graduation they are all similar.  I also looked up each of the girls school colors and coordinated the cards accordingly, one was navy & white, one was blue & green and one was blue & red.  Here are my cards for today.

I started by adhering panels of Regals and Neutrals Designer Series Paper to the card bases, which are 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, using Snail.  The card bases are Garden Green, Night of Navy and Real Red.  I adhered the small cards to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The small cards are Garden Green, Night of Navy and Real Red.

On Whisper White panels I stamped the dancing woman image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the images in using my Dark Night of Navy (for the top one), Light Night of Navy, Dark Granny Apple Green, Dark Real Red and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the top artwork to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and the bottom 2 artwork to Blueberry Bushel mats using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to the front of the small cards using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  To make the caps, I cut 1 Night of Navy and 2 Blueberry Bushel pieces of card stock to  1/2″ X 1/2″ and adhered them to the womens heads using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  To make the tassels I took a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine and folded it in half and tied a knot.  I then frayed the ends to look like a tassel and adhered them to the caps using Glue Dots.  I trimmed them so they weren’t too long.  For the top one, I cut the sentiment from Well Written Dies out of a panel of Night of Navy cardstock and adhered it under the artwork using my Fine Tip Glue Pen.  I added a few Night of Navy Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the artwork.  For the bottom 2, I stamped the sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set and Beautiful You stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut one of the sentiments out using the Timeless Label Punch and the other out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the sentiments to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added some Granny Apple Green Glitter Enamel Dots to the Garden Green card and Red Rhinestones to the Real Red card.

On the inside of all the cards I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy or Blueberry Bushel Inks.  On the Night of Navy and Garden Green cards I stamped the sentiment from Peaceful Moments stamp set below the 1st sentiment in either Night of Navy or Blueberry Bushel Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panels to Night of Navy (for the top card) and Blueberry Bushel (for the bottom 2 cards) mats using Snail and then to the inside of the small cards using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my cards I decorated 3 Medium Whisper White Envelopes.  I stamped the dancing woman image from the Beautiful You stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on all 3 envelopes.  I colored the images in using my Dark Granny Apple Green, Ivory, Night of Navy and Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set on the envelope fronts in Garden Green, Night of Navy and Real Red Inks.

I adhered panel of Neutrals of Regals 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flaps.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my cards and will give it a try.  The measurements for the cards are below, they are all identical I just placed the small card fronts in a different spot on each one.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Grateful We Are Friends

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone’s week going?  We’re halfway through and almost to the weekend again.  We are still quarantined here in NJ, so I won’t be going anywhere except to work.

I’ve been making a lot of Mother’s Day cards lately, in case you haven’t noticed.  I like to send them out to my family and friends. Today I have another one for you using a set that will be carrying over to the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors were inspired by Sunday Stamps Color Challenge #229.  Here are their colors.

My design is from Paper Players Sketch Challenge #488.  Here is their sketch.

I started by cutting a panel of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper using the largest Stitched Rectangle Die.  I adhered it to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail and adhered it to a Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the large flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Band Together Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The top flower is the Daffodil Delight and the bottom is the Mango Melody, but you can’t really see the difference in the photo.  I cut the image out using the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle Die and adhered it to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail.  I adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the butterfly image from the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala Photopolymer Stamp Set, in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the fill images from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in using Mango Melody Ink.  I punched the image out using my Butterfly Duet Punch.  I brushed the butterfly with my Clear Wink of Stella to give it a little shimmer.  I stamped the butterflies antenna on the flower in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and adhered the butterfly to the artwork using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Band Together stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel and cut it out using the smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the artwork using Glue Dots.  I tied a small bow using the Pretty Peacock/Old Olive 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the large flower image from the Band Together stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink on a Whisper White panel, stamping off 3 times to get a very light image.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large flower image from the Band Together stamp set on either side of the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of Peaceful Poppies DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Hello

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started off?  I’ve got a busy week ahead.  Today is my only day off 😦  Normally I only work on Monday’s and Wednesday’s, but it’s the end of the month and the 1st of May on Friday, so I have to work.  I don’t know about you, but April was a big blur to me.  When I was sitting at my desk yesterday I looked at the calendar and didn’t even realize that the month was just about over.  All my days are just blending together lately.

Today I used some more of the retiring items for my card.  I want to use them as much as possible because once they are gone, I won’t use them.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors were inspired by Fab Friday Color Challenge # 188.  Here are their colors.

My sketch is from Just Add Ink Challenge #502.  Here is their sketch.

I joined in with Always Fun Challenge #160 also.  There theme challenge is to use ‘Embossing Folders’.

I started by embossing a Pool Party card front using the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.  I embossed the top 1/3 then turned the cardstock around leaving about 3/4″ and embossed the bottom section.   I wrapped a piece of the 5/16″ Braided Burlap Trim around the un-embossed section and secured it on the back of the panel using Snail.  I adhered a strip of Grapefruit Grove cardstock just under the trim using Snail.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Cling Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I cut the panel using the 2nd largest square from the Stitched Shapes Dies, making sure the sentiment was in the top right corner.  I cut a scalloped square from a panel of Whisper White cardstock using my Layering Squares Dies.  I adhered the stitched square to the scalloped square using Snail.

On a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock I stamped the hibiscus flower from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I highlighted the center of the flower using my Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker and added some Clear Wink of Stella to the center of the flower.  I cut the image out using my In The Tropics Dies.  On a panel of Pool Party cardstock I stamped the leaf image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Bermuda Bay Ink 3 times.  I cut the images out using my In The Tropics Dies.  I adhered the leaves to the back of the flower using Glue Dots and adhered the flower to the sentiment square using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Tropical Oasis Trinket just under the sentiment using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the card front to a Pool Party card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the hibiscus image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on the bottom of the panel.  Using the masking technique, I stamped the leaves from the Timeless Tropical stamp set around the flower in Pool Party Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blushing Bride mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the hibiscus from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on the bottom front of the envelope.  I stamped the leaf image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Pool Party Ink around the flower and on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Although the stamp set and dies will be carrying over to the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, the bundle pricing will not.  You can still save 10% by purchasing this bundle before June 2nd. Don’t forget, the Grapefruit Grove cardstock, Tropical Oasis Trinkets, Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder, the Braided Burlap Trim and the Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins are all retiring.  Now’s the time to grab them before they’re gone.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Ornate My Friend

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Are you ready for another week of working from home and social distancing?   I’m ready for this to all be over.  I’m ready to socialize and spend time with friends and family sitting together again.  It’s been pretty cool here in NJ, so wearing the mask hasn’t been too bad. Once it starts getting warm though, I will not be going out if we still have to wear them.

Most of my cards this week are using the Ornate Garden Suite.  Last week I was trying to decide which design I wanted to use for my video on Saturday so I made a few extra.  Here’s my card for today.

I played along with the Joy of Sets Tick Tac Toe April 2020 Challenge #JOSTTT016.  I went right across the top and down the left side.  Here are their sets.

I started by embossing a Terracotta Tile card front using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.

Using my Ornate Borders Dies, I cut both sides of a Whisper White panel using the thinnest die.  I adhered a panel of Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper to the die cut Whisper White panel using Snail then I adhered it to the embossed card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small Whisper White panel I stamped the daisy image from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style Cling Stamp Set twice in Early Espresso Ink. I colored the images in using my Light Mango Melody and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies making sure to leave room at the top for a sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a few Gilded Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the daisy image from the Ornate Style stamp set twice on the bottom of the panel in Early Espresso Ink and colored the image in using my Light Mango Melody and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Terracotta Tile mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the daisy image from the Ornate Style stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom front of the envelope 3 times.  I colored the images in using my Light Mango Melody and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Strong and Beautiful Wild Rose CAS Card

Good Saturday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone doing today with your social distancing?  Hope your weekend is starting off well and you are able to keep busy.  I’ve finally had extra time to spend at my craft table and I’ve been thrilled.  I know I don’t usually blog on the weekends, but I thought I’d start since we all have a little extra time lately.

I have a Clean and Simple card for you today.  Take a look.

My colors were inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #362.  Here are their colors.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #427.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a strip of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered the strip to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to a So Saffron card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock, using my Stamparatus, I stamped the outlined rose image from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the 2nd part of the rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink over the outlined image.  I stamped the 3rd part of the rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once, over the stamped image.  I cut the rose out using my Wild Rose Dies.  I adhered the rose to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front.  I adhered the card front to a Basic Black card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the 2nd rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the outlined image in Balmy Blue Ink.  I stamped the 3rd image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the stamped image in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a So Saffron mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I finished my card by decorating a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the outlined rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope and on the envelope flap.  I stamped the 2nd rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the outlined image in Balmy Blue Ink.  I stamped the 3rd rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink over the stamped images, stamping off once.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
