Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Hello

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Saturday was sticky and rainy here and Sunday was hot and humid. Luckily I was inside with A/C all day working.

Today’s card uses one of my favorites sets from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set and the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies for my card today.

My colors are from Just Add Ink Challenge #560.

My design is from Sunday Stamps Challenge #260.

I started by adhering a panel of the Coastal Cabana Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Gray Granite mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I embossed a panel of Blackberry Bliss cardstock using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the Gray Granite mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Gray Granite card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the shoe, lipstick and perfume bottle images from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images in using my Blackberry Bliss and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using my All Dressed Up Dies. I arranged the die cut images on the side of the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Coastal Cabana Playing With Patterns Resin Dots to the card front. I brushed the lipstick and perfume bottle with Clear Wink of Stella.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the lipstick image on the bottom of the panel in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it in using my Blackberry Bliss and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the lipstick smudge image in Blackberry Bliss Ink, stamping off once, on the bottom of the panel. I brushed the lipstick with my Clear Wink of Stella.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the sentiment and lipstick image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set on the envelope front. I colored the image in using my Blackberry Bliss and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the lipstick smudge in Blackberry Bliss Ink, stamping off once, on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

For today’s card I pulled out an older set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I colored the images in using my Pool Party and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I brushed Wink of Stella on the shoe images to give it a little shimmer. I cut the images out using my All Dressed Up Dies. I adhered the die cut pieces to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Winter Dressed To Impress

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? It warmed up here this weekend a bit. I thought with the weather last week that we were going to get an early winter.

For today’s card I pulled out one of my favorite sets from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. A coworker asked me to make a good friend of hers a birthday card with shoes on it and she said her favorite colors were blues and purples. Here’s what I came up with.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper.

My design is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #462. Here is their sketch.

I also played along with the Double ‘D’ Challenge. Their theme is Winter Blues. Here is their mood board.

I started by adhering a panel of Snowflake Splendor DSP to a Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a stitched square out using the Stitched Shapes Dies. I stamped the smudge image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink, stamped off twice, in the center of the square. On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the shoe image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink twice. I colored the shoes in using my Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends Markers and cut the images out using my All Dressed Up Dies. I brushed Clear Wink of Stella on the shoes to give them a shimmer. I adhered the bottom shoe to the stitched square using Glue Dots and the top shoe using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut another stitched square out of a panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock using my Stitched Shapes Dies. I stamped the sentiment from Dressed To Impress stamp set in Versamark Ink on the top of the square. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.

I cut one last stitched square out of a panel of Purple Posy cardstock using my Stitched Shapes Dies. I embossed the panel using my Winter Snow Embossing Folder. I adhered the Purple Posy Square down first using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Misty Moonlight square next using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the square with the shoes on the top of the other 2 using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped 2 sentiments in the center of a Whisper White Panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. One of the sentiments is from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set and the other is from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set. I stamped the shoe image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set twice on the bottom of the panel. I colored the shoes in using my Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends Markers and brushed them with Clear Wink of Stella. I stamped the flower image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set on the top of the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored it in using my Just Jade and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Purple Posy mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the shoe and flower image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the images in using my Just Jade, Misty Moonlight and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers. I brushed Clear Wink of Stella on the shoes. I adhered a panel of Snowflake Splendor DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! All Dressed To Impress CAS

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s weekend started off?  We are having a beautiful spring day here.  They actually did open the parks today, but not the playgrounds.  I’m thinking since I have the day off and it’s so nice out, I may take my little fur baby and head out for a nice long walk.

For today I have a very quick and easy card for you using some retiring DSP and a stamp set and dies that are carrying over to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card.

My design is from CAS Colour & Sketch Challenge #368.  Here is their sketch.

I adhered a 2 panels of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper to a panel of Whisper White cardstock using Snail.

I wrapped a piece of the Mint macaron 1/8″ Sheer Linen Ribbon around where the DSP meets in the middle and tied a bow.  I adhered the panel to a Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the All Dressed Up Dies and adhered it over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Just a reminder that although this set is carrying over to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, the bundle price is not.  If you purchase this set now as a bundle you can save yourself 10%.   I added a couple Purple Posy 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dots on either side of the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the flower images from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on 2 of the corners of the panel.  I colored the flowers in using my Mint Macaron and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Mint Macaron mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom front of the envelope.  I colored the images in using my Mint Macaron and Purple Posy Stampin ‘ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of Best Dressed DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Kindness is Always in Style

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  Has anyone been able to start gardening or getting yard work done with all this time being home?  It’s still a little early here to plant flowers, but we did have to start cutting our lawn already and I’ve done some clean up.  We had a couple nights that we got frost again and that damaged some of my plants.  I’m hoping they come back when it warms up.

Today’s card is another version of a card I did last Thursday.  You can see that card here.  That card was a portrait card and I had 2 pieces of DSP left over so I thought I’d use it up making a landscape card.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by very lightly tacking the 2 panels of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper to the Pretty Peacock cardstock with Snail.  Using my Paper Trimmer, I cut all the panels at the same time on a slight angle.  I adhered the 2 pieces of Best Dressed DSP that I wanted, to the Pretty Peacock mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panels to a Petal Pink card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to a Thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the perfume bottle image from the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set, which I colored just the outline using my Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Marker.  I stamped the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center of the bottle image.  I cut the image out using my All Dressed Up Dies.

I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a bow using the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon and adhered it to the bottle using a Glue Dot.  I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the perfume bottle image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set, which I colored just the outline using my Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Marker, on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the flower image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink inside the bottle image.  I stamped the color fill image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Petal Pink Ink over the flower image.  I stamped the small dot image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set on either side of the sentiment in Petal Pink Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Petal Pink mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the perfume bottle image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set, which I colored just the outline using my Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Marker, on the envelope front.  I stamped the flower image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set inside the bottle image in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I stamped the color fill image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on top of the flower.  I adhered a panel of Best Dressed DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Hello Fabulous! for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. How is everyone doing today? Hope you are all staying heathly, we’re all good here. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects today. This week we had a Color Challenge, here are the colors we got to work with.  I just love this color combo.

Here’s what I came up with for these colors.

My design is from Sunday Stamps Challenge #228.  Here is their sketch.

I started by very lightly tacking the 2 panels of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper to the Blackberry Bliss cardstock with Snail.  Using my Paper Trimmer, I cut all the panels at the same time on a slight angle.  I adhered the 2 pieces of Best Dressed DSP that I wanted, to the Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panels to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  On the same panel of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the perfume bottle and lipstick images from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the perfume bottle in using my Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  To get the darker purple around the outside of the bottle, I colored it over multiple times.  I colored the lipstick image in using my Blackberry Bliss and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my All Dressed Up Dies.  I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the images to give it a little shimmer.

I adhered the cut images to the sentiment oval using Glue Dots.  It’s hard to see in the photo, but I adhered some Rose Metallic Thread to the back of the artwork then adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Purple Posy 2019-2021 Faceted Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the perfume bottle and lipstick images from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the lipstick smudge image, (not real sure that’s what it’s supposed to be but it fit), from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink.  I colored the images in using my Blackberry Bliss, Purple Posy and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers and added a little Clear Wink of Stella to the images.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the perfume bottle and lipstick images from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the lipstick smudge image from the Dressed to impress stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Blackberry Bliss, Purple Posy and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of Best Dressed DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress CAS

Good Saturday morning mu stamping friends.  How is your weekend going so far?  I have to work for a couple hours this morning.  We’re taking shifts so that no one is exposed for too long a time to the public.  They have set up what looks like an Ice Hockey penalty box for us and have marked the floor where customers have to stand to wait to be checked out.  Our owner/manager is doing everything to protect us and stay open at the same time.

I have a quick and easy CAS card for you today using the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Bundle.   Here’s today’s card.

My sketch is from Inspire.Create. Challenge #065.  Here is their sketch.

My colors were inspired by Color Throwdown Challenge #586.  Here are their colors.

I started by adhering a panel of the Best Dressed 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Gorgeous Grape card base using Snail.  I adhered a strip of the Best Dressed 6 X 6 DSP to a Gorgeous Grape mat using Snail and then to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape Ink.  Using my Banner Triple Punch I made a banner out of the strip and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the lipstick image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Dark Lovely Lipstick, Dark Petal Pink and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I added some Clear Wink of Stella to give it a little shimmer.  I cut the image out using my All Dressed Up Dies and adhered the image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Glue Dot.  I added a few Gorgeous Grape Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the lipstick image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel and colored it in using my Dark Lovely Lipstick, Dark Petal Pink and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the panel to the inside of the Gorgeous Grape card base using Snail.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the lipstick image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set on the bottom of the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Dark Lovely Lipstick, Dark Petal Pink and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Best Dressed 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my CAS card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed To Impress Birthday

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started off?  I was informed yesterday that the doors to the store will be locked to the public for a couple weeks.  Even though I don’t deal with the public daily, the work I do does.  So, I’ve got extra time on my hands to craft for a bit, do my spring cleaning and get things done that I’ve put off doing.  I hope everyone is staying healthy, staying home and crafting a lot!!

For today’s card I used a new to me bundle, the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Bundle.  When I first saw this one, I thought I’d never use it.  Once I got it, I LOVE it.  I can’t wait to play with all the other images.  Did you ever make a card and as you are creating it you just know exactly who it will be for?  That was today’s card.  I didn’t start off making it for anyone in mind, but as I was creating I just know who I want to send this one to.  I just have to wait for her birthday to get here.  Here’s my card for today.

My design was from Just Add Ink Challenge #497.  Here’s their sketch.

I also joined in with TGIF Challenge #256.  They have a Suite Inspiration Challenge.  Here’s their challenge.

I started by adhering a panel of the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail. I then adhered it to a Purple Posy card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a square panel of Whisper White cardstock using my Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the top of the panel.  I stamped the watercolor image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink, stamping off once, below the sentiment.  I adhered the panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail.  On a scrap panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped 2 of the shoe image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Basic Gray Ink.  I colored the shoes in using my Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my All Dressed Up Dies and brushed them with my Clear Wink of Stella to give them a little glimmer.  I adhered the shoes to the stitched square Whisper White panel using Glue Dots and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Using my Stitched Rectangle Dies I cut a panel of the Best Dressed DSP and a small panel of Purple Posy cardstock.  I embossed the Purple Posy rectangle using my Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Best Dressed DSP rectangle to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail.

I started at the bottom and adhered the matted DSP first to the card front using Snail.  I then adhered the embossed panel using Glue Dots on top of the DSP panel.  Last I adhered the artwork to the top using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels, which I colored using my Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Marker, to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink below the 1st sentiment.  I stamped another one of the watercolor images from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiments.  I stamped the shoe image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set twice on the bottom of the panel in Basic Gray Ink and colored them in using my Purple Pose Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I added  some Clear Wink of Stella to the shoes for some glimmer.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Purple Posy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the shoe image from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Basic Gray Ink on the bottom of the envelope front twice and colored them in using my Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I added a little Clear Wink of Stella for some glimmer.  I adhered a panel of Best Dressed DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
