Stampin’ Up! Lacey Wild Rose

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  I sure hope everyone staying healthy.  Last week I got a new light for my crafting table, which meant I had to rearrange and clean my table.  While doing so, I came across bits and pieces of cards that I had lying around and never did anything with.  I decided to put some of them to good use and create a card from what I had lying around.  Here’s what I came up with using some of the pieces.

I had an Old Olive panel which I had embossed using the new Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered a Whisper White panel which I had cut using the Stitched Lace Die, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of Seaside Spray 1/4″ Metallic Ribbon around the card front and tied a bow.  I adhered the card front to an Old Olive card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in Seaside Spray Ink.  I cut the panel out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I had a rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set which I had stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I also had some leaves from To A Wild Rose stamp set which I had stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The images were all cut using the Wild Rose Dies.  I adhered the die cut rose to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added the leaves under my rose using Glue Dots.  I added a few  Seaside Spray 2019-2021 In- Color Faceted Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.   I stamped the leaf image from To A Wild Rose stamp set by the rose and on the top of the panel.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Old Olive mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the rose and leaf images from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to the envelope front and envelope flap.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Check your craft area, I bet you may have bits and pieces of cards you started and didn’t do anything with.  See what you can come up with.  We all have a lot of extra time since we’re not supposed to be going out, so it’s the perfect time to clean up our area.  Happy Stamping!!
