Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? By the time you are reading this I will be in the air flying to Georgia for our retreat (hopefully). I can’t wait to get there to stamp, eat and laugh with friends all weekend long.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. A couple weeks ago I told you I was going to a Sunflower Maze. I did go and it was amazing. That is where some of my inspiration for my card today came from. I’ve shared a few pictures below of our day at the maze. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Cling Stamp Set, the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by cutting my Night of Navy card base. I cut the front panel at the 2 3/4″ mark to the outside edge. I then cut on the 4 1/4″ score line up from the 2 3/4″ cut line. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to a Cinnamon Cider mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the small sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and the bouquet from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Stampin’ Up! Plentiful Plants Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on the Basic White panel. I colored the images in using my Balmy Blue, Cherry Cobbler, Cinnamon Cider, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the small sunflower image out using my Sunflower Dies and the flowerpot image using my Perfect Plants Dies. I fussy cut the sunflower bouquet using my Paper Snips. I cut a few sprigs from the Sunflower Dies from a panel of Soft Succulent cardstock.

I fussy cut one of the flowerpot images from a panel of the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP using my Paper Snips. I adhered the Soft Succulent sprigs to the back of the flowerpot using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sunflower bouquet to the front of the flowerpot using Glue Dots then adhered the arrangement to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside on a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the stem image from the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set in Garden Green Ink. I cut the panel at 2 1/2″ and fussy cut around the stem using my Paper Snips. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the top of a Cinnamon Cider mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic White panel with the stem to the bottom of the Cinnamon Cider mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Plentiful Plants stamp set in Garden Green Ink on the DSP panel. I adhered the small sunflower die to the top of the stem using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the die cut flowerpot to the bottom of the stem using Stampin’ Seal.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the small sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom front of the envelope and colored it in the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. If you do CASE this card, please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under the post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and heading towards the weekend. How is your week going?

It’s time for another inspiration challenge for The Card Concept. For the next 2 weeks we have a Luck of The Irish challenge. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used multiple stamp sets for today’s card, but mainly the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Bundle and the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set. I was inspired by the colors and the bouquet of flowers for my collage card.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concept and join us this week to play along with our challenge #150. How are you inspired by this photo?

I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a Thick Basic White Card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered another darker panel of In Good Taste DSP to the card front using Stampin’ Seal.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped multiple fern images from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set in Garden Green, Just Jade and Pear Pizzazz Inks. I cut the images out using the Forever Flourishing Dies. I punched 9 daisies using the Medium Daisy Punch and adhered them together in sets of 3 using tiny amounts of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the flower pot from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Cling Stamp Set and stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the flower pot and sentiment out using the Potted Succulents Dies and colored the flower pot in using my Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers. Using my Forever Flourishing Dies I cut other fern and leaf images from the Just Jade, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce and Soft Seafoam panels of cardstock. Using the tiny flower dies from the Wreath Builder Dies I cut out 12 flowers from the panel of So Saffron cardstock. I cut the tiny flowers using the Confetti Flowers Border Punch from the panel of So Saffron cardstock.

I flipped the flower pot upside down and adhered a piece of the 1/4″ Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim with an Antique Slide from the Antique Corners & Slides Embellishments around the pot adhering it in the back with Glue Dots. I adhered the flower pot to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the pieces of fern and flowers to the card front arranging them how I liked using Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment and small daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in the center of a Basic White panel in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the daisy centers in using my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped some of the fern images from the Forever Fern stamp set on the envelope front and adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflower Easel Birthday for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Are you ready for the weekend? It’s starting to feel like fall here.  It’s been really cool at night and in the mid to upper 70’s during the day, perfect walking or yard work weather.

I’ve made another easel card for you today.  Now I know why my team member Mary loves these so much.  They are so much fun to design.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors were inspired by Paper Players Challenge #508.  Here are their colors.

I started by scoring and folding a Blackberry Bliss easel at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″ and adhering the 2 3/4″ section to a Blackberry Bliss card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the stem image from the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the leaves and the stem in using my Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Four Seasons Floral Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the top of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the small sunflower image from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Cling Stamp Set in Cajun Craze Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I brushed some Clear Wink of Stella on the center of the sunflower go give it a little shimmer.  I fussy cut the sunflower out using my Paper Snips and adhered it to the stem using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a couple of the leafy stems out from the Sunflower Dies in Pretty Peacock cardstock and adhered them to the stem using Glue Dots.  I tied a small bow using the 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon and adhered it to the stems using a Glue Dot.

I adhered the artwork to the easel, just adding Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the bottom section of the easel.  I colored a few Pearl Basic Jewels with my Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Marker and adhered them to the card front and the card base.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set towards the top of a Whisper White panel in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I stamped the small sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink, stamping off twice, over the sentiment.  I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the flower center.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the Blackberry Bliss card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the image out using my Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a scalloped oval out of a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock using the Layering Ovals Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the Pretty Peacock scallop oval using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the matted sentiment to the Whisper White panel, where I wanted the easel to set, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the small sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Cajun Craze and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of Pretty Peacock 2019-2021 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Smile Daisy Lane for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Is anyone planning anything for the weekend?  I’m working a partial day tomorrow and getting my spring cleaning done.

For today’s card I made a fold I haven’t done in a while and forgot how much I like it.  I do have detailed pictures and instructions for you since it is a little hard to explain.  Here’s today’s card.

I’ve combined the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper with the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set for my card.  Click HERE for a  template which I got from Lisa Curcio, to do the braid on the edge.

I lined the template up with the edge of my card and cut carefully on the lines all the way down the edge so it looks like photo above.  When you open your card base it looks like the 2nd picture above.

Starting at the bottom, you want to fold down the bottom  cut piece and carefully cut it off using your Paper Snips as shown above and set it aside (you will need it later).  Fold the next cut piece down and tuck it behind the point below it.  Continue doing this all the way to the top cut piece.

When you finish folding and tucking all the pieces down it will look like the 1st picture above.  Take the small piece that you cut off and adhere it to the top of the card, using Glue Dots, lining it up and tucking it under the top point so it looks like the middle photo above.  When you fold your card back in half it will look like the end photo.

I adhered a panel of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to the card front using Snail.  On a small panel of Whisper White card stock I stamped the stem image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Early Espresso Ink across the stem.  I cut the image out using my Rectangle Stitched Dies.

On a small piece of Vellum card stock I stamped the medium daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink twice.  I cut the images out using the Medium Daisy Punch.  I adhered the 2 cut daisies together using a Glue dot and adhered it to the stem image using a Glue Dot.  I added a Perennial Essence Floral Center to the daisy.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a small bow made from the Terracotta Tile 1/4″ Ornate Garden Ribbon and adhered it to the bottom of the stem using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the stem image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink, stamping off once, on the side of the panel.  I stamped the small daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink, stamping off once, to the top of the stem.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Terracotta Tile mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stem image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the small daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink on the top of the stem.  I adhered a panel of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Very Versailles Daisy Lane Card

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers and Happy August!!   How has your week been going?  The weekend is approaching quickly.

IT’S THAT TIME!! TIME TO REDEEM YOUR BONUS DAYS COUPONS THAT YOU EARNED IN JULY

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Very Versailles Cling Stamp Set.  We made a similar card at my last Stamp Camp class.  Here’s my card.

I started with a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the top right and bottom left of the panel.  I then stamped the leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on the opposite sides coming out from the center.  I tore the edges all around the panel and sponged them with my Basic Gray Ink.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat using Snail.

On a panel of Petal Pink Vellum I stamped the larger daisy from the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set twice in Petal Pink Ink.  I stamped the smaller daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Petal Pink Ink twice on the Petal Pink Vellum.  I punched all the daisies out using the Daisy Punch and the Medium Daisy Punch.  I adhered the larger daisies together using a Glue Dot and the smaller daisies together using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the smaller daisy to the larger daisy using a Stampin’ Dimensional and adhered the daisies to the center of the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I added a Terracotta Tile 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dot to the center of the daisy.

I adhered the card front to a Terracotta Tile card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the leafy image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on both sides of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink in the center of the Very Vanilla panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Terracotta Tile card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Petal Pink Ink 3 times across the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Birthday Card and Buying Special

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that some of you were lucky enough to have a 4 day weekend. At the end of my post today I have a little special going on, so don’t forget to scroll down.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Bundle for my card.  Here’s my card.

My design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #395.  Here is their sketch.

I also joined in with Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #228.  Here is their theme.

I started by adhering a panel of the gorgeous Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to a Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered another strip of the Perennial Essence DSP across the center of the card front using Snail.

I cut a circle out or Whisper White cardstock using the largest circle from the Layering Circle Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Beauty Abounds Cling Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the top of the circle.  I stamped the fern image from the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set 3 times in Old Olive Ink, stamping off once, below the sentiment on the circle.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the smaller daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink twice and punched them out using the Medium Daisy Punch.  I adhered the daisies together using a Glue Dot and then adhered it to the center of the stamped circle using a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Using the Leaf Punch, I punched out 3 leaves from Old Olive Vellum paper from the Perennial Essence 12X12 Vellum Cardstock.  I adhered the leaves using Glue Dots under the punched daisy.  I adhered a Perennial Essence Floral Center in the center of the daisy.

On the inside I stamped the stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock, stamping off 3 times.  I stamped the daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the stem stamping off 4 times.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set over the stamped image in Blackberry Bliss Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card, I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the fern image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the bottom front stamping once in full strength and then stamped off once.  I stamped the daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink between the fern.  On the envelope flap I adhered a panel of the Perennial Essence DSP.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Delight Thank You Card

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is you week going?  I spent over 6 hours on the beach yesterday and it was simply wonderful.  The air was in the 90’s and the water was a chilly 70.  I found lots of sea glass, which seems to be a lot harder to find these days.  The only bad thing was the sand was so hot It burned our feet, other than that, it was a perfect day.  I can’t wait to go back again real soon.  Is anyone making plans for the 4th of July?

I have another quick and easy card for you today where I let the Designer Series Paper do most of the work for me.  Here’s my card.

I have combined the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up  Daisy Delight Cling Stamp Set on my card today.  I started by adhering a panel of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to a Mossy Meadow card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Delight stamp set in VersaMark Ink on the bottom of the Mossy Meadow panel. I immediately sprinkled it with Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I wrapped a piece of the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack around the card front twice.  I adhered the card front to a Mossy Meadow card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the smaller daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink 3 times.  I punched the daisies out using the Medium Daisy Punch.  I adhered the daisies together using Glue Dots and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Perennial Essence Floral Center to the daisy.

On the inside I stamped the stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink, stamping off 3 times, on a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the stem stamping it off twice.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the daisy from the Daisy Lane on the stem in Flirty Flamingo Ink  I adhered a panel of the Perennial Essence DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Quick and Easy Card

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend.

For today I have a Clean and Simple, Quick and Easy card for you.  This is one of the very few times that I only used one color, not counting white.  I’m trying out some ideas do use for my next class that I’d like to feature the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Bundle.  Here’s my card.

I started by coloring a piece of the Silver Metallic-Edged Ribbon using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  While that was drying, I stamped a Whisper White card front  with the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set in Seaside Spray Ink.  I embossed the stamped card front with my Layering Leaves 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered it to a Seaside Spray mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Once the ribbon was dry, which was pretty quick, I wrapped it around the matted card front and tied a bow.  I adhered it to a Thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped 2 of the smaller daisies from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink and punched them out using the Medium Daisy Punch.  I adhered the 2 daisies together using a Glue Dot and then adhered it to the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a large Seaside Spray 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dot to the center of the daisy.

On the inside I stamped another one of the daisy images from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink on the top and bottom corner of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Seaside Spray mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I stamped the smaller daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the medium daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set on the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my CAS, QAE card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Smile

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How has you week been going?  The weekend is right around the corner.

I’ve used a few new items for today’s card.  I received my Stampin’ Up order from the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog yesterday and I couldn’t wait to play with my new items.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with  couple challenges today.  First off I played along with Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #339.  Here is their sketch.

Next I played along with Color Throwdown Challenge #546.  Here are their colors.

I started by embossing a Very Vanilla card front using the new Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a smaller panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I stamped the fern image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink, stamping off once, on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Calypso Coral mat using Snail.

I adhered a strip of the new Pretty Peacock Noble Peacock Foil Sheet to the right side of the matted artwork using Snail.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the medium daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Calypso Coral 3 times.  I punched the daisies out using the new Medium Daisy Punch.  I adhered the daisies together using Multipurpose Liquid glue, then adhered them to the artwork using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I added a few Night of Navy Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the top of the artwork and the center of the daisy.

On the inside I stamped the stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink, stamping off twice, on the left side of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the smaller daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink, stamping off once, on top of the stem.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Night of Navy Ink  over the top of the daisy.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Calypso Coral cad base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink on top of the stem.  I stamped the fern image from the Daisy Lane stamp set along the envelope flap, stamping off once.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  We ended up having a beautiful weekend here.  No rain, except for when we were sleeping, YAY.  Looks like spring might finally be here.

For today’s card I’m giving you a little sneak peek of a new stamp set coming in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  It’s the Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set.  It coordinates with the Stampin’ Up Daisy Delight Stamp Set that we already have and uses the same Daisy Punch for both.  Here’s my card.

I’ve joined in with the Color Throwdown Color Challenge #543.  Here are their colors.

I’ve also joined in with the CAS Colours & Sketches Sketch Challenge #321.  I have to admit, this sketch was a real challenge for me.  Here is their sketch.

I started with a Basic Gray card front and ran it through my Big Shot using the Subtles Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to give the background a little texture.  I adhered it to a Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I took a piece of Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and cut it on a diagonal from corner to corner and then turned it slightly in my Paper Trimmer and cut it again from corner to corner.  I did the same thing with a piece of Pool Party cardstock.  I adhered the long triangular cuts of DSP to the same Pool Party mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue so that I would have a little wiggle room to center it properly.  I adhered the 2 matted triangles to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue having the smallest part of the triangles meet.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped 3 of the larger daisies from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pool Party Ink.  I punched them out using the Daisy Punch.  I arranged the daisies on top of one another meeting in the center and adhered them using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the daisy to the center of the triangles using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink and immediately sprinkled it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder then I heat set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using my Big Shot and the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.  I edged the oval using my Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker and adhered it just under the daisy on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I colored a few Pearl Basic Jewels using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered them to the center of the daisy.

On the inside I stamped the stem image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink, stamping off 3 times to get a very light image, on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped another one of the daisy images from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pool Party Ink, stamping off twice, on top of the stem.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink on top of the floral image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Basic Gray mat using Snail and then adhered it to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink and one of the daisy images from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a piece of the Neutrals 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  The Daisy Lane Stamp Set will be available June 4th along with lots of other beautiful new stamp sets from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! has posted their retiring lists for the 2018-19 Annual Catalog and 2019 Occasions Catalog.  Head over to my online store to pick up those retiring items now!  They’re only available while supplies last from now through June 3!

A few notes about the lists:

  • Due to high demand for retiring stamp sets, these items will have guaranteed availability until May 24; all other products are not guaranteed and are available while supplies last only.
  • Order deadline to get the retiring products:  June 3, 2019; 11:50 PM (MT)

Please note, some of the bundle items may be carrying over into the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  However, the bundle pricing will go away, so get them while you can at the discounted price!!

Stampin’ Up! Retirement List Clarification

It looks like every single stamp set from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog is being retired and that isn’t the case, the carryover sets are being transitioned to Cling Mount.

The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).

If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog!  All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.

You can download copies of the full retiring lists in PDF Form here:

  • Click here to get a copy of the full retiring list from the Occasions Catalog.
