Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have any plans for the weekend yet? I’ll be working all weekend in the office and at the dog bakery.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Bundle for my fun fold card today along with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper.

I started by scoring a Gray Granite card base at 3 1/4″ & 4 1/4″. I folded the card base in half at the 4 1/4″ score line and folded the front back at the 3 1/4″ score line. I adhered the 1″ binder edge together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to a Polished Pink mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, using the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Cling Stamp Set, I stamped the flowerpot and 2 succulents in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on the same panel. I colored the images in using my Gray Granite, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. Using my Potted Succulents Dies, I cut the images and sentiment, I cut the aloe plant die from a panel of Evening Evergreen cardstock and the cascading die from a panel of Polished Pink cardstock. I adhered the dies to the flower pot using Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a strip of Polished Pink cardstock to the edge of the card bae using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Using a punch, I snipped both ends to hold the ribbon in place. I wrapped a piece of Gray Granite 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon around the end and tied a bow. I added a few Polished Pink 2021-2023 In-Color Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the Bloom Where you’re Planted DSP to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Polished Pink mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Gray Granite card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flowerpot and succulent images from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images in using my Gray Granite, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. If you do CASE this card, please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under the post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Forever Fern Wedding

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to the weekend. Hope you have something fun planned for the weekend. Today’s my son’s 26th birthday. I can’t believe he’s 26 already, not sure when he got older, but I haven’t. He gets to celebrate with a broken fibula and a ruptured ankle, not much of a celebration. I have to work today, but to my surprise I have off tomorrow, YAY!!! Unfortunately my husband has to work. My intentions now are to get one of my gardens redone. We’ll see how that goes.

Today’s card is something different than my normal. No color. Years ago when my children were little, I did child care. A friend of mine and I both needed to work part-time so we decided to swap kids a couple days a week. It was an even swap till she had a 3rd child and needed me twice a week. I ended up watching her girls along with a couple others 2-3 times a week. I loved the girls that I watched and loved watching them grow up with mine. I was sad when the last one went off to Kindergarten and I only had them in the summer. Well, her middle child is getting marries and I’m going to make a few different wedding cards till I decide which one I want to give her. So here’s my first card for her.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set for my White on White card.

My design and color is from the Try Stamping On Tuesday Challenge #510.

I started by cutting a panel of Shimmery White cardstock using the Potted Succulents Dies and adhered it to a Thick Basic White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I embossed a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Dotty Hearts Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a small panel of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Fern stamp set in Versamark Ink. I immediately sprinkled it with my Silver Embossing Folder and set it using my Heat Tool.

I adhered a piece of 1/2″ White Faux Lined Ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Pack to the back of the sentiment panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Fern stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I cut 3 flowers from a panel of Shimmery White cardstock using the Potted Succulent Dies and adhered them on either side of the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Shimmery White mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Changes To The Upcoming July-December Mini Catalog And Second Sale-a-bration

Stampin’ Up! has shared the following update with us related to the upcoming July-December Mini Catalog and second Sale-a-bration this year.  With the global shipping delays, they will be moving the start dates for those two publications back by one month.  Here are the details from Stampin’ Up!:

We’ve recently been made aware that, due to the current global shipping crisis tied to the COVID pandemic, we are not likely to receive the majority of product inventory for the upcoming July–December 2021 Mini Catalog or July–August 2021 Sale-A-Bration in time for the catalog launches. After careful consideration we have decided to push the launches of both publications back by one month to allow time for inventory to be received.

Change Details

  • The July–December 2021 Mini Catalog will in effect become the August–December 2021 Mini Catalog (though the title of the publication will not change).
    • Demonstrator Preorder: July 1, 2021 – August 2, 2021
    • Customer Sales Period: August 3, 2021– January 3, 2022
  • July–August 2021 Sale-A-Bration will in effect become August–September 2021 Sale-A-Bration.
    • Demonstrator Pre-earn: July 1, 2021 – August 2, 2021
    • Customer Earning Period: August 3, 2021 – September 30, 2021

I’m so happy that Stampin’ Up! made the decision to move the catalog timing back by a month in order to minimize those frustrating backorders and unavailable items!  Let me know if you have questions about this.  Can’t wait to see the upcoming Mini and Sale-a-bration Catalogs this summer!  And as always, I’ll get those catalogs mailed out to you just as quickly as I can once I get them in early July!

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Gala

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends and Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you. Even if you are not Irish, today everyone has just a bit in them. I don’t have any Irish in me (just Italian), but growing up my mom always made corn beef and cabbage on St. Patrick’s Day. Don’t forget to wear your Green today!! We’re halfway through the week and heading towards the weekend, hope you are making some fun plans.

It’s time for another inspiration challenge for The Card Concept. For the next 2 weeks we have a Butterfly Brilliance challenge. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala Photopolymer Stamp Set. The butterfly was my main inspiration for my clean and layered card today.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concept and join us this week to play along with our challenge #151. How are you inspired by this photo?

I started by cutting a Shimmery White card front using the Potted Succulents Dies and adhered it to a panel of Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front to a Mint Macaron card base using Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the largest butterfly from the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Cling Stamp in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I cut the butterfly out using my Brilliant Wings Dies. I colored the butterfly in using my Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather and Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends Markers. From a panel of Basic Black cardstock I cut the largest detailed butterfly using the Brilliant Wings Dies and adhered it to the colored butterfly using Multipurpose Liquid Glue just on the butterfly body and fluffed the wings out. I adhered the butterfly to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I immediately sprinkled it with my Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment out using the Potted Succulents Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I adhered 2 strips of Butterfly Bijou DSP to either side of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Mint Macaron card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I adhered a strip of Butterfly Bijou DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Thanks

Good Saturday morning my fellow stampers. How has everyone’s weekend started off? Hope you have some fun activities planned, or maybe just have a relaxing day ahead.

For today’s card I combined the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Bundle with the new Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. Here’s my card for today.

My colors are from Color Throwdown Challenge #632. Beautiful spring combo I think.

I also played along with The Spot Inspiration Photo Challenge #152.

I started by adhering a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP to a Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the largest succulent image, the flowerpot image and the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images in using my Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using the Potted Succulents Dies.

I adhered the flowerpot to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the succulents above the flowerpot using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut the panel of butterflies out of the Butterfly Bijou DSP using the Brilliant Wings Dies and adhered one of the small butterflies to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the butterfly and card front.

I cut a Mint Macaron mat for the sentiment using the Potted Succulents Dies and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the sentiment to the mat using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the medium succulent image from the Simply Succulent stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink in the corners of the panel and colored them in using my Mint Macaron and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered another one of the butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou DSP next to the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic White panel to a So Saffron mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Butterfly Bijou DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Do you like this Simply Succulent Bundle??? Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and heading towards the weekend. How is your week going?

It’s time for another inspiration challenge for The Card Concept. For the next 2 weeks we have a Luck of The Irish challenge. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used multiple stamp sets for today’s card, but mainly the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Bundle and the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set. I was inspired by the colors and the bouquet of flowers for my collage card.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concept and join us this week to play along with our challenge #150. How are you inspired by this photo?

I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a Thick Basic White Card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered another darker panel of In Good Taste DSP to the card front using Stampin’ Seal.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped multiple fern images from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set in Garden Green, Just Jade and Pear Pizzazz Inks. I cut the images out using the Forever Flourishing Dies. I punched 9 daisies using the Medium Daisy Punch and adhered them together in sets of 3 using tiny amounts of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the flower pot from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Cling Stamp Set and stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the flower pot and sentiment out using the Potted Succulents Dies and colored the flower pot in using my Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers. Using my Forever Flourishing Dies I cut other fern and leaf images from the Just Jade, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce and Soft Seafoam panels of cardstock. Using the tiny flower dies from the Wreath Builder Dies I cut out 12 flowers from the panel of So Saffron cardstock. I cut the tiny flowers using the Confetti Flowers Border Punch from the panel of So Saffron cardstock.

I flipped the flower pot upside down and adhered a piece of the 1/4″ Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim with an Antique Slide from the Antique Corners & Slides Embellishments around the pot adhering it in the back with Glue Dots. I adhered the flower pot to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the pieces of fern and flowers to the card front arranging them how I liked using Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment and small daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in the center of a Basic White panel in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the daisy centers in using my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped some of the fern images from the Forever Fern stamp set on the envelope front and adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Thanks Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Are your decorations up yet? Gifts bought and wrapped? Cards mailed? The holidays are going to be here in a blink of an eye. I’m not ready. I planned on getting my cards done this weekend, that didn’t happen. At least they are made though, so I just have to write my notes and address them.

My card for today was designed by one of my team members Sue Prather. We had our team meeting yesterday and we had 3 presenters with some beautiful cards. I’ll have another to show you later this week. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Bundle for my card along with many colors.

I started by adhering a panel of the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (this is a Sale-A-Bration item that will be available January 5th 2021) to a panel of Whisper White cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then adhered it to a Blackberry Bliss card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On panels of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the large succulent image and the 2 single images from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink. I immediately sprinkled it with my Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. Using the awesome new Blending Brushes coming in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, I added color. I started with Soft Seafoam, Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzazz, then added a little Highland Heather and Rich Razzleberry. Once I had the color the way I wanted, I cut all the images out using my Potted Succulents Dies. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Cajun Craze cardstock and cut the image out using my Potted Succulents Dies. I adhered the flowerpot to the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the largest succulent to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and the smaller ones on the top using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a small bow using the new Blackberry Bliss 3/8″ Striped Ribbon (coming January 5, 2021) and adhered it to the flowerpot using a Glue Dot.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Soft Suede Ink and cut it out using my Potted Succulents Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the succulent images from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Seafoam Inks on the top and bottom corners of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Soft Seafoam mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Blackberry Bliss card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the succulent images from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzazz Inks on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Oh So Ombre DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you liked my card. All products for my card will be available January 5, 2021 from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and the DSP will be a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. This is really a beautiful set that you’re going to want. If you are a customer of mine you will be getting you catalogs shortly, I just received them Friday. If you need a demonstrator and would like a catalog, send me an email and I will be sure to get one out to you. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers. How was everyone’s weekend? Did anyone do anything fun. Other than working, I packed up my living room and took all my pictures down from the hallways and staircases. All my furniture got moved into a POD for a couple weeks now. We’re having our floors refinished, so that means everything had to get packed and we’re moving out for a couple days. I’ll actually be coming home in the mornings to let the workers in and I’ll be staying in my basement for the day with my dog. She gets to come to the hotel to stay with us at night, I just don’t want to leave her there by herself during the day.

For today I have another sneak peek for you of a bundle coming in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Bundle for my card. My son’s girlfriends birthday is tomorrow and she love her succulents, so when I saw this set I knew I had to buy it to make her a card. I used quite a few colors for my card along with a sneak peek of a Sale-A-Bration item coming soon.

I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a Just Jade card base using Stampin’ Seal. I embossed a panel of the Oh So Ombre 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder. The Oh So Ombre DSP will be a Sale-A-Bration item available in January/February 2021. I adhered the panel to the Just Jade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White Cardstock I stamped 3 of the small succulent images, 1 of the larger succulent image, the flower pot image and the sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set (available January 5,2021) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the images in using my Gray Granite, Just Jade, Rococo Rose and Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using the Potted Succulents Dies (available January 5, 2021). Using the Potted Succulents Dies, I cut one die from a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock and two from a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock.

I adhered the flower pot to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I arranged the succulents the way I wanted them and adhered them using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sentiment below the flowerpot using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few of the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to my card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Best Year Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the largest succulent image from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Just Jade Ink, stamping off twice, over the sentiment. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Rococo Rose mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Just Jade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the succulent image from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored them in using my Just Jade and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you liked my card. The Simply Succulent Bundle and Oh So Ombre DSP will be available for you to purchase January 5, 2021 from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. If you are one of my customers and have made a purchase this year, I will be sending a catalog out to you as soon as they become available. Happy Stamping!!
