Stampin’ Up Strong and Beautiful

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  The weekend is upon us.  Has anyone made any plans?  I’m hoping to get some craft time in after work tonight and tomorrow, but we’ll see what happens.

For today’s card I have a super quick and easy one for you.  My house is a bit under construction so I had to whip something up quick when I was done packing things up.  Here’s my card.

I started with a card front of the, FREE from Sale-A-Bration with a $50 order, Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set in the soon to be retired, Tranquil Tide Ink.   I adhered the DSP to a Tranquil Tide mat using Snail.

Using my Big Shot, I ran the matted card front through using the .Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Since the card was so simple I wanted it to have a little texture.  I then adhered the embossed card front to a Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I added a few Tranquil Tide Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set in Tranquil Tide Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I adhered a strip of the Petal Promenade DSP to the bottom of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Tranquil Tide mat using Snail then to the inside of the Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I adhered Petal Promenade DSP to the envelope front and  the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. This has to be one of the quickest cards I’ve ever made.  I let the Designer Series Paper do most of the work for me.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Hold On To Hope

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How is your week going?   Today’s our first full day of spring.  I’ve got a lot of crocus and daffodils blooming at my house, so that’s a sure sign of warmer weather coming.

For today’s card I made another quick and easy card for you using the Painted Seasons Bundle which is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item with a $100 order.  Only 10 days left to get your Sale-A-Bration items!!   Here’s my card.

I started with a Whisper White card front and adhered it to a Petal Pink mat and then to a Poppy Parade mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a piece of the beautiful Petal Pink/Whisper White 5/8″ Variegated Ribbon around it and tied a knot.  I adhered the matted card front to a Thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I took a piece of the gorgeous Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a Petal Pink mat and then to a Poppy Parade mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted DSP to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the ‘God Is Love’ sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Hold On To Hope Stamp Set in Poppy Parade Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using my Big Shot and the Cross Of Hope Framelits Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the center of the DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the flower image from the Stampin’ Up Painted Seasons Stamp Set in Petal Pink Ink on the corners of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the leaf image from the same stamp set in Call Me Clover Ink by the flowers and I stamped the center of the flowers in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up You’re Inspiring Stamp Set in Poppy Parade Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Painted Seasons stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a piece of Painted Seasons DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  We made this card at my last workshop and everyone was able to put it together really quick.

Don’t forget Sale-A-Bration is only here for another 10 days.  So don’t wait any longer if there is something you’ve had your eye on.  Get it while it’s still available because after the 31st Sale-A-Bration items will be gone for good.

Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Meant To Be

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  Happy 1st Day Of Spring!!!

There are less than 2 weeks left for Sale-A-Bration, yikes!  If there are still items you wanted to get, don’t wait.  Things are selling out.  They’ve added a 3rd release, you can see it below.

For today’s card I have a real quick and easy card for you.  Take a look.

I started by cutting the rectangles.  I used the 3 middle Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies along with my Big Shot and cut the largest in Lovely Lipstick cardstock, the middle one in Flirty Flamingo cardstock and the smallest one in All My Love Designer Series Paper.  Once I cut them out I layered them inside one another.

As you can see, this is a very flat card since they are inside and not layered on top of one another.  I adhered the rectangles to a Whisper White card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I just love how the stitching looks on all the rectangles.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Meant To Be Stamp Set in Versamark Ink and immediately sprinkled it with my Lovely Lipstick Embossing Powder.  I heat set it using my Heat Tool then cut the circle out using my Big Shot and the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  I also cut a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies and adhered the stitched circle to it using Snail.  I adhered the circle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered a small Flirty Flamingo bow made from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack.  I adhered the card front to a Thick Whisper White card base.

On the inside I stamped the single flower from Stampin’ Up Forever Lovely Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Lovely Lipstick Ink in the center.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower from the Forever Lovely stamp set on the envelope front.  I adhered a piece of All My Love DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my quick and easy card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up All That You Are for Sunday Stamps

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has your week started off?  Spring officially starts tomorrow, now we just need the temperatures to go with it.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up All That You Are Stamp Set.  This is another beautiful set that is great for coloring with your favorite coloring instrument. I decided to use a few of the soon to retire colors for my card.   Here’s my card.

My design was inspired by Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #200.  Be sure to stop by and play along with their challenge.  Here is their sketch.

I started with a Powder Pink card front and ran it through my Big Shot using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper I stamped the floral image from the All That You Are stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the leaves of the image in using my Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the flowers in using my Aqua Painter, filled with alcohol, and my Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Powder Pink Inks.  I adhered the artwork to a Fresh Fig mat using Snail.  I added some Rose Metallic Thread to the back of the matted artwork then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the ‘God Is Love’ sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Hold On To Hope Stamp Set in Fresh Fig Ink on a scrap piece of Powder Pink cardstock and cut it out using my Big Shot and the Cross Of Hope Framelits Dies.  I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Glue Dot.  I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the floral image from the All That You Are stamp set in Powder Pink Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the ‘Easter Blessings’ sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set in Fresh Fig Ink on top of the floral image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Fresh Fig mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the floral image from the All That You Are stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered a piece of the Floral Romance Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you like my card and will give it a try.  If you really like any of the soon to retire 2017-2019 In-Colors, now is the time to get them.  Get them before the hit the retired list and sell out.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Hello Cupcake

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  We’re back to the cool weather here after the tease last Thursday and Friday.  That really gave me spring fever.  I’m ready for the warm weather.

For today’s card I used one of the cute Sale-A-Brations sets, Hello Cupcake Photopolymer Distinktive Stamp Set.

The colors for my card today went along with the ‘Just Us Girls‘ color challenge #479. Be sure to stop by to play along. Here are their colors.

The sketch I used went along with the Paper Craft Crew challenge #329.  Be sure to stop by to see what everyone has made and to play along.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the cupcake image from the Hello Cupcake stamp set (FREE Sale-A-Bration item), using my Stamparatus, in Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Gorgeous Grape Inks on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I then fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips and set it aside.

On a Whisper White card front I stamped the watermark image from the Stampin’ Up Love What You Do Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight Ink, stamping off once, a couple of times.  I adhered a piece of the Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, that I had cut out using my Big Shot and the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, over the watermark image.  I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Cupcake stamp set in Gorgeous Grape Ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.  Again using my Big Shot, I cut the sentiment out with the second largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies making sure the sentiment was to the right of the oval.  I took a strip of Bermuda Bay cardstock, which I had made a banner from and ran it through my Big Shot using the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (FREE Sale-A-Bration item), and adhered it under the sentiment oval using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the sentiment oval to the card front on top of the DSP oval, off centering it,  using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some of the Silver Metallic Thread behind the cupcake image and adhered the cupcake to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Glimmer Enamel Dot to the sentiment.  I adhered the card front to a Gorgeous Grape card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the cupcake image from the Hello Cupcake stamp set on a Whisper White panel stamping it the same as I did for the card front except I stamped it off twice to get a very light image.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink over the cupcake image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Gorgeous Grape card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the cupcake image from the Hello Cupcake stamp set the same as I did for the card front on the front of the envelope.  I adhered a piece of the Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Don’t forget, you have less than 2 weeks before Sale-A-Bration ends.   If you have your eye on one of the gorgeous stamp sets or something from the additional items, grab it before it’s too late.  Happy stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Vertical Greetings Z-Fold Card

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  How was your week?  Is anyone doing anything fun this weekend?

For today’s card I made a Z-Fold card.  I just love doing this type of card.  I used the Stampin’ Up Vertical Greetings Stamp Set.  I also used some of the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper that is a FREE item with Sale-A-Bration.   Just a little reminder, Sale-A-Bration will be ending on March 31, 2019.  If you haven’t gotten the free items that you would like, now’s the time to get that order placed.  Don’t miss out on getting all the free goodies you want.  Here is today’s card.

I started with a Thick Very Vanilla card base scored at 4 1/4″ and 2 1/8″.  I stamped one of the potted plant images from the Vertical Greetings stamp set on the front of the card base.  I colored the image in using my Balmy Blue, Early Espresso, Grapefruit Grove and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Markers.  This is a great way to stamp an image using multiple colors on the same stamp.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set next to the image in Early Espresso Ink.

On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the squirrel and bird images from the Stampin’ Up Sitting Pretty Stamp Set in Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Balmy Blue Inks.  Using my Big Shot I cut the squirrel, bird and park bench out with my Pretty Park Framelits Dies.  I cut the park bench out using Wood Textures Designer Series Paper so that it had the wooden look.

I adhered the squirrel and bird to the park bench using Glue Dots and adhered the park bench to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using my Butterfly Duet Punch I punched out some of the butterflies from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.  I adhered a couple to the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I adhered a panel of the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a small panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the left of the inside so that it wouldn’t show when the card was closed.  I adhered some more butterflies to the card base using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Glue Dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the potted plant image from the Vertical Greetings stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered a piece of Botanical Butterfly DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping and have a great weekend!!

Stampin’ Up Flowering Desert for SUO Challenge

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is your week going?  We’re half way through already.  Did you have a chance to hop around our Blog Hop yesterday?  If not, try to take the time to go back and see all the beautiful projects.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Flowering Desert Stamp Set.  I’ve done the Masking and Sponging Techniques on it.  I love doing both techniques.  Here’s my card.

My card was able to join in with the Stampin’ Up Only Challenge color challenge #218.  Be sure to stop by to play along and see what everyone else has made.  Here is their challenge. We are doing a fun spring color palette challenge of Granny Apple Green, Lovely Lipstick, and Pool Party, with a bonus color of Mango Melody. All neutrals are allowed.

I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the cactus from the Flowering Desert stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink in the center.  I covered the image with a mask I had made from a Post-It note and fussy cut.

I stamped the mountain image from the Stampin’ Up Waterfront Stamp Set behind the cactus in Basic Gray Ink.  I then began my sponging.  I started with the bottom and sponged Crumb Cake Ink using my Stamping Sponges, up to the mountains.  I stamped the sand image from the Waterfront stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink over the sponged area.

I next sponged Pool Party Ink above the mountains followed by Mango Melody Ink, Lovely Lipstick Ink and along the top I added some Smoky Slate Ink.  As I sponged up I blended the colors together.  I stamped the flowers on the cactus in Lovely Lipstick Ink and the aloe plants in the sand in Granny Apple Green Ink.  Using my Big Shot,  I cut the artwork out using the 2nd largest Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.  I cut a Pool Party frame out using the largest and 2nd largest Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.  I adhered the artwork and frame to a Mango Melody card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a small strip of Pool Party cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Desert stamp set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with my Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.  I made it into a banner and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside on a Whisper White panel I stamped the cactus from the Flowering Desert stamp set in the center using Granny Apple Green Ink stamping off twice.  I stamped the flowers from the same stamp set in Lovely Lipstick Ink stamping off 3 times and the aloe plants in Granny Apple Green Ink some stamping off once and some full strength ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Lovely Lipstick Ink over the cactus.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Lovely Lipstick mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Mango Melody card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the front and back of the envelope with the images from the Flowering Desert stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give these techniques a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Painted Seasons for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to our monthly Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some gorgeous projects.  This month our theme is ‘CELEBRATE SPRING’.  We can interpret this any way we would like to.  If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects.  If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.  I’ve used the FREE with Sale-A-Bration , Painted Seasons Bundle and the Four Seasons Famelits Dies for my card today.  Here is my card for today.

I love doing Fancy Fold cards, it’s one of my favorites.  Whenever I see a different fold, I keep practicing until I get it right.  I just love the challenge of different folds.  My card has a lot of pieces to it.  All the measurements are listed below.  I started with a Pool Party panel and scored it at 5 1/4″.  Putting the short side on the edge of my Stampin’ Trimmer, I lined up the long edge at the 1″ mark.  I cut from 3″ to 7 1/2″.  I then put the long edge with the 3″ side on the edge of my Stampin’ Trimmer and the 5 1/4″ score mark to the right and scored at the 3″ mark.  Keeping the cardstock the same, I scored the 1″ piece at 7 1/2″.  I hope this makes sense to you.

Here is what it will look like once you fold on the score lines.

I adhered my Wood Textures Designer Series Paper on Petal Pink mats using Snail. I adhered my Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper on the smaller Petal Pink mats using Snail.  I adhered all the matted pieces to the scored Pool Party panel where they all fit using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Pool Party card front to a Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using my Big Shot I cut the word ‘friend’ out from the Well Written Framelit Dies in the Wood Textures DSP.  It did not photograph well, but it show up much better in person.  I adhered it to the bottom front section using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock, using my Stamparatus,  I stamped the succulent flower image from the Stampin’ Up Painted Seasons Stamp Set (FREE Sale-A-Bration item) 3 times.  I stamped 2 in Pool Party Ink and 1 in Petal Pink Ink. On the Petal Pink flower I used my Sponge Dauber and lightly went around the edges with Pool Party Ink and then stamped over the 1st image.  I did the same with the Pool Party flowers except I used Petal Pink Ink.  I stamped the leaf image from the same stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink 3 times.  Using my Big Shot, I cut all the images out with my Four Seasons Framelits Dies (available for a limited time during the month of March).  I adhered 2 of the flowers and the 3 leaf images to the front section of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots.  I adhered the 3rd flower to the back section of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I wrapped a piece of Silver and Petal Pink Bakers Twine around the front section of the card front and tied a bow.  I added some Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the succulent flower from the Painted Seasons stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock stamping it off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink over the flower.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the succulent flower from the Painted Seasons stamp set on the front of the envelope once in Petal Pink Ink and twice in Pool Party Ink.  I adhered a piece of Painted Seasons DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you liked my card today.

Stampin’ Up Tea Together Mother’s Day Card

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was your weekend?  Did everyone remember to change your clocks?   Spring is right around the corner, but not soon enough for me.  Daylight savings time is my favorite time of the year.  It stays light out later and I just have more energy.

Today’s card was CASE’d from a wonderful team member and friend Mary Deatherage.  You can see her card HERE.  She made her beautiful card on one of her Sunday night Facebook live videos.  Her videos are great, you should stop by to see her on a Sunday night.  Here is my card.

My card fit in with the Colour and Sketch colour challenge #311.  Be sure to stop by and play along with their challenge.  Here is their beautiful combination of colors.

I started with a Blackberry Bliss card front and ran it through my Big Shot using the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (FREE Sale-A-Bration item with a $50 order).  I then took my Whisper White Craft Stamp Pad and swiped it across the raised design and let it dry.  I adhered it on to a Highland Heather mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the tea pot , flower and leaf images from the Stampin’ Up Tea Together Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Using my Big Shot, I cut the images out with the Tea Time Framelits Dies (FREE Sale-A-Bration item with a $100 order).  I colored the flower, leaves and top of the tea pot in with my Highland Heather and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I adhered the flower to the front of the tea pot using Stampin’ Dimensionals and the leaves under the flower using Glue Dots.  I took one of the Pearlized Doilies (2 – FREE Sale-A-Bration item with a $50 order) and colored it in using my Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I adhered the doily to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered the tea pot on top of it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to the card front and added some Wink Of Stella to the flower on the tea pot.  I adhered the card front to a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the tea cup from the Tea Together stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a Very Vanilla panel and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set inside the tea cup in Blackberry Bliss Ink.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Highland Heather mat using Snail and adhered it inside the Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the tea cup from the Tea Together stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front and stamped the sentiment from the same set inside the cup in Blackberry Bliss Ink.  I stamped the flower from the same stamp set on the envelope flap and colored it in the same as I did for the card front.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. As you can see, I used quite a few FREE Sale-A-Bration items for my card today.  There’s only  20 days left for Sal-A-Bration.  Don’t wait if there are items you’d like to get for free.  Head over to my online store now to see all the great items that are available. Happy Stamping!!
