Stampin’ Up All That You Are Strong and Beautiful

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Mine was very wet and soggy.  It rained all weekend.  Did anyone do anything fun?

For today I have another Mother’s Day card for you.  I really need to get all my cards in the mail, today!!  Here’s my card.

I’ve joined in with 3 challenges today.  First is the Fab Friday color challenge #162.  Here are their gorgeous colors I got to work with.

Next I joined in with Aud Sentiments Challenge #226.  Their challenge theme was to Make a Feminine Project and An Appropriate Sentiment.

I also joined in with Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  Here’s their theme.

I started with a panel of Tropical Escape 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper (retiring June 3rd) and adhered it to a Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the large image from the Stampin’ Up All That You Are Stamp Set on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock in Soft Suede Ink.  This stamp set will be retiring on June 3rd.  I love this image, it’s perfect to color.  I colored the image in using my Petal Pink, Pool Party and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Strong and Beautiful Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a strip of the Tropical Escapes 6 X 6 DSP.

I adhered the artwork, with Snail, to a panel of Pool Party mat which I ran through my Big Shot with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a bow made from the Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon (also retiring June 3rd) to the stem of the stamped image with a Glue Dot.  I adhered the stamped strip of DSP to the top of the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the flower image from the All That You Are stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the corners of a Very Vanilla Panel.  Masking the flowers I stamped the stem image from the same stamp set in Pool Party Ink around the flowers.  I colored the flowers in using my Petal Pink and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Strong and Beautiful stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of the Very Vanilla panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the flowers from the All That You Are stamp set on the envelope front and colored them in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a piece of Tropical Escapes 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Don’t forget if you liked the stamp set, DSP or ribbon that I used for my card, they will all be retiring as of June 3rd.  Grab them while you can.

A few notes about the lists:

  • Due to high demand for retiring stamp sets, these items will have guaranteed availability until May 24; all other products are not guaranteed and are available while supplies last only.
  • Order deadline to get the retiring products:  June 3, 2019; 11:50 PM (MT)

Please note, some of the bundle items may be carrying over into the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  However, the bundle pricing will go away, so get them while you can at the discounted price!!

Stampin’ Up! Retirement List Clarification

It looks like every single stamp set from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog is being retired and that isn’t the case, the carryover sets are being transitioned to Cling Mount.

The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).

If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog!  All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.

You can download copies of the full retiring lists in PDF Form here:

Stampin’ Up All That You Are for Sunday Stamps

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has your week started off?  Spring officially starts tomorrow, now we just need the temperatures to go with it.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up All That You Are Stamp Set.  This is another beautiful set that is great for coloring with your favorite coloring instrument. I decided to use a few of the soon to retire colors for my card.   Here’s my card.

My design was inspired by Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #200.  Be sure to stop by and play along with their challenge.  Here is their sketch.

I started with a Powder Pink card front and ran it through my Big Shot using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper I stamped the floral image from the All That You Are stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the leaves of the image in using my Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the flowers in using my Aqua Painter, filled with alcohol, and my Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Powder Pink Inks.  I adhered the artwork to a Fresh Fig mat using Snail.  I added some Rose Metallic Thread to the back of the matted artwork then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the ‘God Is Love’ sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Hold On To Hope Stamp Set in Fresh Fig Ink on a scrap piece of Powder Pink cardstock and cut it out using my Big Shot and the Cross Of Hope Framelits Dies.  I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Glue Dot.  I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the floral image from the All That You Are stamp set in Powder Pink Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the ‘Easter Blessings’ sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set in Fresh Fig Ink on top of the floral image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Fresh Fig mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the floral image from the All That You Are stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered a piece of the Floral Romance Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you like my card and will give it a try.  If you really like any of the soon to retire 2017-2019 In-Colors, now is the time to get them.  Get them before the hit the retired list and sell out.  Happy Stamping!!
