Stampin’ Up Beautiful Detailed Anniversary Card for Fab Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  Well the weekend is upon us already.  Have you made any plans?  Don’t forget to move your clocks ahead Saturday before you go to bed or Sunday morning as soon as you get up.

For today’s card I used the absolutely gorgeous Beautiful Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  This paper has a Petal Pink side and a Whisper White side.  I chose to use the Petal Pink side for my card.  Take a look.

I played along with the Fab Friday color challenge #158 for my card today.  Their colors are just beautiful together.  Here’s their color challenge.

I started with a panel of Calypso Coral cardstock and adhered a panel of the Beautiful Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to it.  I adhered the card front to a Mossy Meadow card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using my Big Shot I cut out 2 hearts from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  I cut one in Petal Pink card stock and one in Calypso Coral cardstock.  On the Petal Pink heart I stamped the Happy Anniversary from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink.  I connected the Petal Pink heart to the scalloped Calypso Coral heart using Stampin’ Dimensionals then adhered it to the card front.  I cut out a few embellishments from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies in Mossy Meadow cardstock.  I adhered them under the hearts using Stampin’ Dimensionals or Glue Dots.  I added a couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the embellishments.  I colored a Heart Epoxy Droplet using my Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend Marker and adhered it to the Petal Pink heart.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the heart cluster from the Stampin’ Up Forever Lovely Stamp Set in Calypso Coral Ink on either side of the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Petal Pink mat using Snail then adhered it to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the heart cluster image from the Forever Lovely stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink on both sides of the envelope front and around the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  I love when I can let the paper do most of the work for me.  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up You’re Inspiring for The Paper Players

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How has your week been?

For today’s card I’ve made an Easter card using the Stampin’ Up You’re Inspiring Stamp Set.  With spring less then 2 weeks away I’m just waiting for the daffodils to start blooming.  Here is my card.

I’ve played along with The Paper Players Theme Challenge #431.  Be sure to stop by to play along and see the beautiful projects everyone has made.  Here is their challenge.

I started with a Mint Macaron card base and cut 3 1/4″ off the top of the front leaving 2 1/4″.  On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the small daffodil image from the You’re Inspiring stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink a couple times to fill the panel.  I colored the image in using my Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the tiny background image from the same stamp set in Pool Party Ink above the daffodils.  I adhered the artwork to a Daffodil Delight mat using Snail then to the bottom of the front card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a larger panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the larger daffodil image from the You’re Inspiring stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink so that it would be coming up from behind the small card front panel.  I colored the image in using my Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I adhered the larger Whisper White panel to a Daffodil Delight mat using Snail then to the inside of the Mint Macaron card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a butterfly from the Stampin’ Up Butterfly Gala Stamp Set that I had stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and Daffodil Delight Ink.  I punched the butterfly out using the Butterfly Duet Punch and adhered it by the daffodils using a Glue Dot.  I added a couple Pearl Basic Jewels that I had colored using my Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blend Marker.

On the inside I added the sentiment from the You’re Inspiring stamp set.  I stamped the Happy Easter in Mint Macaron Ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the tiny background image around the sentiment in Pool Party Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using my Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies and my Big Shot.  I edged the stitched rectangle using my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend Marker.  I adhered it under the daffodils using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large daffodil image from the You’re Inspiring stamp set on the front of the envelope.  I stamped the smaller daffodil image from the same stamp set on the envelope flap.  I colored all the daffodils in the same as I did for the card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Wishing You Well

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  We’re half way through the week, YAY!  ONLY 2 WEEKS TILL SPRING!!  I don’t know about you, but I am definitely getting spring fever.  I can’t wait till it warms up.  I’m done with winter now.

For today’s card I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up Wishing You Well Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog.  I  love this set and it just screams SPRING to me.  Here’s my card.

Today I also played along with 2 challenges.  First is CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #311.  Be sure to stop by to see what everyone has made and to play along.  Here is their sketch.

Next I played along with TGIF Sweet Color Challenge #201.  Be sure to stop by their blog to play along and see everyone’s projects.  Here are their beautiful spring colors.

I started with a So Saffron card front and stamped it with the Stampin’ Up Hardwood Stamp in So Saffron Ink.  I then ran it through my Big Shot using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I adhered it to a Highland Heather mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the bouquet image from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on an angle.  I then stamped the flowers from the same stamp set in Highland Heather Ink on top of the Soft Sea Foam.  I stamped the bow image from the same stamp set on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock in Highland Heather Ink and fussy cut it.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Highland Heather Ink on the bottom left of the artwork.

I adhered the artwork to a Highland Heather mat using Snail and then adhered it to my card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the bow to the artwork using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few So Saffron Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the bouquet image from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on a Whisper White panel stamping it off once.  I stamped the flowers in Highland Heather Ink over the Soft Sea Foam stamping them off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Big Thank You Stamp Set in Highland Heather Ink over the lightly stamped image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat using Snail then adhered it to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the bouquet from the Wishing You Well stamp set on the front of the envelope the same as I did for the card front.  I stamped the Hardwood stamp on the envelope flap in So Saffron Ink.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Lovely Lattice White Wash Technique

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has your week started out?

For today’s card I’ve done the White Wash Technique for you.  I haven’t done this in a while and I just love how it turns out.  Here’s my card.

I’ve played along with a few challenges for today’s card.  1st is ‘Just Us Girls‘ word week challenge # 477.  Be sure to stop by to play along and see what everyone has made.  Here is their challenge.  This one was pretty easy and left a wide variety.

The next one is Paper Craft Crew Simple Stamping Theme Challenge #328.  I don’t do simple that often, but I really enjoyed it with this card.  This one was a little harder since I’m so used to using multiple layers.  Here’s their challenge.

Last was the Sunday Stamps Natures Hues challenge #199.  They had a some gorgeous colors to work with.  Be sure to stop by and see what everyone has made and play along with their challenge.  Here are their colors.

I started by stamping the large image from the  Stampin’ Up Lovely Lattice Stamp Set, (Free Sale-A-Bration item), in Versamark Ink on a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool.  Using my Aqua Painter I colored the flowers with Craft Whisper White Ink and let it dry throughly.  I actually let it go overnight to make sure it was good and dry.

Once it was dry, using my Blender Pens I added color to the flowers starting darker in the middle and blending it out to the edges.  I used Flirty Flamingo, Gorgeous Grape and Pacific Point Inks for my flowers and Coastal Cabana Ink for my leaves.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape Ink on a strip of Whisper White cardstock and made a banner out of it.  I adhered the banner to the left side if the card front using Snail.  I adhered the card front to a Flirty Flamingo card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a Gorgeous Grape Glitter Enamel Dot to the sentiment banner and a few Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Well Said stamp set in Gorgeous Grape Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the smaller flowers from the Lovely Lattice stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the corners and colored them in using my Blender Pen with the same colors as I did on the card front.

I finished my card by decorating a Medium Craft Envelope.  Unfortunately these envelopes are no longer available, but it seemed to go beautifully with my card.  I stamped the large flower image from the Lovely Lattice stamp set on the front of the envelope and colored it in the same as I did for the card front with my Blender Pen.  I stamped the smaller flowers from the same stamp set on the envelope flap and colored them in the same as I did for the inner liner.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

I played along with the Watercooler Wednesday challenge.  This was a really open challenge this week and I loved it. Be sure to stop by to play along and see what everyone has made. Here is their challenge..

I adhered the sentiment to a piece of Vellum paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Vellum to the card front using Glue Dots.

I wrapped a piece of Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon around the card front and tied a bow.  I adhered the card front to a Thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set in Smoky Slate ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up Forever Lovely Stamp  Set in Powder Pink Ink in the 2 corners.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up Birthday Statements for Inspire.Create

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  How was your week?  Are you ready for the weekend?  Is anyone going to do anything fun?  I’m hoping to get some craft time in after working today and Saturday.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Birthday Statements Stamp Set.  I love the large image that makes the whole card.  I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for spring and I seem to be using more springy colors lately.  Here’s my card for today.

I joined in with the Inspire. Create. colour challenge #037.  Be sure to stop by to see the projects and to play along.  Here are their beautiful pastel colors.

I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the image from Birthday Statements in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Using my Big Shot I cut the image out with the 3rd largest Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.  Then using the 2nd largest Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies I cut out a Daffodil Delight mat.  I adhered the artwork to the Daffodil Delight mat using Snail.

I adhered Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the matted artwork and swirled Silver Metallic Thread so that it was just overlapping the sides and peeking out.  I then adhered the artwork to a Pool Party card base.  I stamped the small sentiment from the Birthday Statements stamp set on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock in Mint Macaron Ink and punched it out using the Classic Label Punch.  I adhered the punched sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added some Daffodil Delight Gingham Gala Adhesive Back Sequins to the artwork and 2 Mint Macaron Faceted Dots to the punched sentiment.

On the inside I wanted to match the flowers the best I could to the card front image.  I found similar flowers in the Stampin’ Up Lovely Latice Stamp Set (FREE Sale-A-Bration item).  I stamped 3 flowers in each corner of a Whisper White panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored them in with my Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set in Mint Macaron Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped 3 of the small flower images from the Lovely Lattice stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and the envelope flap.  I colored them in the same as I did on the card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Life Is Grand Quick and Easy Card

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  Only one more day till the weekend.  Is anyone making any plans?

For today’s card I have a very quick and easy card for you.  I let the Designer Series Paper do most of the work for me.  Take a look.

I started with a Pineapple Punch card front and adhered a piece of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper to it using Snail.  I wrapped a piece of Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon around the card front and tied a knot on the side.  I adhered the card front to a Thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Life Is Grand Cling Stamp Set in Granny Apple Green Ink.  Using my Big Shot I cut the sentiment out with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a couple Granny Apple Green Glitter Enamel Dots to the stitched oval.

On the inside on a Whisper White cardstock panel I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Life Is Grand stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink in the center.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  To decorate the inside a little I added a panel of How Sweet It Is DSP.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the lollipops from the Stampin’ Up Sweetest Thing Stamp Set in Granny Apple Green ink on the envelope front.  I colored them in using my Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered a piece of How Sweet It Is DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my quick and easy card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Incredible Like You

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is your week going?

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Incredible Like You Photopolymer Stamp Set.  I love the sentiments in this set and the floral image  is so pretty.  Take a look.

For my card I also played along with 3 challenges.  The first is Just Add Ink Challenge #445.  Be sure to stop by to see what everyone had made.  Their challenge was Just Add Embossing, which I did.  I heat embossed and I used an embossing folder.

Next I played along with Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge # 309.  Be sure to stop by and play along with their challenge and see what everyone has made.  Theirs is a color challenge, and the colors are beautiful together.
Last is What Will You Stamp challenge #208.  Theirs is a specific stamp set you must use.  Be sure to stop by and play along with them too.

I started by stamping the sentiment from Incredible Like You stamp set in Pool Party Ink on a small piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I immediately sprinkled it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.  You can emboss in any color when you use clear embossing powder.  I then stamped the stems from the same stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink around the bottom of the sentiment, then stamped the flowers, from the same stamp set, on the stems in Highland Heather Ink.  Using my Big Shot and the oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, I cut the sentiment out and set it aside.
On a panel of Pool Party cardstock I stamped the flowers from the Incredible Like You stamp set in Pool Party Ink.  I stamped the inside of the flower stamping off once then stamped the second part of the flower full strength Pool Party Ink.  I stamped the leaf image from the same stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink randomly around.  I ran the Pool Party panel through my Big Shot using the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to give it a little more texture.

I adhered the card front to a Highland Heather mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a piece of 3/8″ Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon around the center of the card front. I adhered the stitched oval with the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered the card front to a Soft Sea Foam card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the stems and flowers from the Incredible Like You stamp set in Soft Sea Foam and Highland Heather Inks on the bottom of a Whisper White cardstock panel.  I stamped the larger flower in the center of the Whisper White panel in Pool Party Ink, stamping the inside colored part off twice and the second part of the flower stamping off once.  I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set in Highland Heather Ink over the top of the flower.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Highland Heather mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Soft Sea Foam card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stems and flowers from the Incredible Like You stamp set on the bottom of the envelope front the same as I did on my card.  I stamped the larger flower image in Pool Party Ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Animal Outing Kids Birthday

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone doing?  How’s the weather by you? VERY windy here yesterday.  We had trees down and branches flying.

For today’s card I made a Z-Fold Kids birthday card using the Stampin’ Up Animal Outing Bundle.  I love fun fold cards, I really need to make more for you.

I started with a Lemon Lime Twist card base and scored and folded it at 4 1/4″  and 2 1/8″.  Here’s what it looks like folded.

I adhered 2 different panels of Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper to a Call Me Clover mats using Snail.  I then adhered them both to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the Giraffe image from the Animal Outing stamp set,  twice in Soft Suede Ink.  I colored both giraffes in with my Light Soft Suede and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Using my Big Shot, I cut both images out using the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies.   I adhered the giraffes looking over the short panel at the 2 frogs on the branch on the larger panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On another small piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the birthday sentiment from Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set in Call Me Clover Ink.  Using my Big Shot again, I cut the sentiment out using the smallest Stitched Rectangle Framelit Die.  Then using the next size up, I cut another Stitched Rectangle out in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment to the mat using Snail and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Call Me Clover Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the card front and the sentiment.  I also added 2 Candle Embellishments to the sentiment.  In case you can’t tell, the card was for a 2 year old.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set in Call Me Clover on a rectangle a hair smaller than the Lemon Lime Twist mat on the card front.  I edged the rectangle with my Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Marker then adhered it to the inside, making sure it was under the rectangle on the card front, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off, I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the giraffe and frog on a branch image from the Animal Outing stamp set in Soft Suede Ink.  I colored the giraffes in the same as I did for the card front and I colored the frog on the branch in with my Call Me Clover, Lemon Lime Twist and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered a piece of Animal Expedition DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up Sweetest Things for Hand Stamped Sentiments

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was your weekend? Did anyone get a lot of crafting done?

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Sweetest Thing Bundle.  This is such a cheerful set with all the bright colors and fun designs.  Take a look.

I played along with Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge #308.  Be sure to stop by to play along and see what everyone has made.  Here is their sketch.

I started with a Melon Mambo card base and adhered a panel of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I took a strip of Melon Mambo cardstock and wrapped a piece of the Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon around it and tied a bow.  I adhered the strip to the left side of my card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped one of the candy jars from the Sweetest Thing stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I then stamped the gummy bears, from the same stamp set, inside the jar in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored them in with my Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Markers.  Using my Big Shot I cut the candy jar out with my Jar Of Sweets Framelits Dies.  I adhered the jar, using Stampin’ Dimensionals, to an oval which I cut out using the largest Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies in Granny Apple Green cardstock.  Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered the oval just under the Melon Mambo strip.  I stamped the sentiment in Granny Apple Green on another scrap of Whisper White cardstock and cut it out using the smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  I cut the smallest scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies in Melon Mambo cardstock.  I adhered the stitched oval to the center of the scalloped oval using Snail then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front in Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Sweetest Thing stamp set in Granny Apple Green in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the gummy bears from the same stamp set along the bottom of the panel and colored them in the same as I did on the card front.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat using Snail then adhered it to the inside of the Melon Mambo card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the candy jar and the gummy bears from the Sweetest Thing stamp set on the front of the envelope.  I adhered a piece of How Sweet It Is DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping y my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
