Stampin’ Up! Wild About You

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s week going?  How are you all doing with your Social Distancing?  I don’t know about you, but this is getting tougher as the days go by.  I miss spending time with my niece, nephews and all my other family members and friends.  I know this is all for the best, but I’m ready to go back to normal.

For today’s card, I made a real challenging one for me.  I’m not a big fan of Orange or Yellow, but I was determined to make a card using these colors.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors are from the Fab Friday Color Challenge #186.  Here are their colors.

My design is from the CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #366.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with Paper Players Theme Challenge #485.  Here is their theme.

I started by stamping the giraffe image from the Stampin’ Up! Animal Outing Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I then cut the image out using the Animal Friends Dies.  On a panel of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Animal Outing stamp set in Soft Suede Ink and cut the sentiment out using the 2nd largest square from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut the scalloped square mat using the Layering Squares Dies out of a panel of Terracotta Tile cardstock.  I adhered the stitched square to the scalloped square using Snail and adhered the giraffe image to the square using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the giraffe pattern die from the Animal Friends Dies, I cut a Daffodil Delight panel twice.  I adhered the die cut panel to a Mango Melody mat, which I cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a piece of Terracotta Tile 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon across the middle of the panel using Snail.  I cut a panel of Whisper White cardstock using the Ornate Layers Dies and then embossed it using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered a panel of Pumpkin Pie Regals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Thick Whisper White card base using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White die cut panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted die cut panel on top of the Whisper White panel using Glue Dots and the artwork on top of the matted die cut panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Terracotta Tile 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Big Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the giraffe image from the Animal Outing stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panel and colored it in using my Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pumpkin Pie mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the giraffe image from the Animal Outing stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom front of the envelope and colored it in using my Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Mango Melody Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

I have a quick and easy card for you today using the beautiful Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Here’s my card.

I started by cutting a panel of Rococo Rose cardstock using the Stitched Lace Die.  I adhered it to the back right side of a panel of Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper using Snail.  On the back left side of the DSP I adhered a thin strip of Rococo Rose cardstock.  I adhered the panel to a Crumb Cake card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To the left of the artwork I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink.  I added a piece of Rococo Rose 5/8″ Scalloped Trim Ribbon which I tied in a knot and adhered it to the artwork using a Glue Dot.

I adhered the card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Big Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the flower image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink on the leaf image.  I stamped the small flower image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the leaf and flower image.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Rococo Rose mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the leaf image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the bottom front of the envelope.  I stamped the larger flower image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink over the leaf image.  I stamped the smaller flower image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink over the leaf and flower images.  I adhered a panel of Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Thank You Card

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone get to go apple picking or pumpkin picking?  The extent of my apple picking was going to Costco.  It’s not looking too promising for me going this year.

For today, I made another thank you card.  I need to send quite a few out in the next week or so, so I figured I’d better get busy making extra.  My card design and colors were a challenge given to us by my upline.  She’s doing a weekly challenge for our group.  Here’s my card.

Here are the sketch and colors for our challenge.

I started by embossing a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock I stamped the large leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the image out using the Gathered Leaves Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the larger pumpkin image from the Gather Together stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I colored the pumpkin in using my Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers and cut it out using my Gathered Leaves Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! New Wonders Cling Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce inside the pumpkin.  I adhered the pumpkin to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added 2 large and 2 small Pearl Basic Jewels that I had colored using my Dark Shaded Spruce and Dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.

On the inside I stamped the smaller pumpkin image from the Gather Together stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of a Whisper White panel.  I masked the smaller pumpkins and stamped the larger pumpkin image from the Gather Together stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink next to them.  I colored all the pumpkins in using my Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Big Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped and colored the pumpkin images from the Gather Together stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the inside of the card.  I stamped the large leaf image from the Gather Together stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Natures Beauty Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone do anything fun or exciting?  It was a beautiful weekend here. I went for a couple walks on Sunday.  I took a walk into town in the morning and since it was still cool enough I was able to bring Jasmine for a walk.  I feel so bad not bringing her, but the pavement is just too hot for her paws.  She love walking into town, she always thinks we’re going to her store, the dog bakery.  She knows they always give her extra treats.  Unfortunately they weren’t open yet.  Then in the afternoon my family and I went over to Dukes Estate for a nice long walk.  We only walked about 3 miles this time compared to the 7 last time we went.  I can’t wait to go back there in the fall when all the leaves are changing, and it will be a little cooler then.

I have another sneak peek from the 2019 Holiday Catalog for you.  Here’s my card for you today.

I joined in with Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #400 with my card today.  Here is their sketch.

My colors were inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #333.  Here are their colors.

I started by stamping the sentiment from Stampin’ Up A Little Lace Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of an Old Olive card front. I embossed the card front using the Woodland Embossing Folder and added 3 Gold Metallic Pearls to the top.

I embossed a small panel of Grapefruit Grove card stock using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered it to a Cajun Craze mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a piece of the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon around the card front and using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I adhered the card front to an Old Olive card base.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the tree image from the Stampin’ Up Natures Beauty Cling Stamp Set (available Sept 4) in Soft Suede Ink a couple of times.  Using my Stamping Sponges I sponged the Whisper White panel using my Grapefruit Grove Ink on the top and Old Olive Ink on the bottom.   Using the grass image from the Natures Beauty stamp set I stamped some grass around the bottom sponged area in Old Olive Ink.  I adhered the sponged panel to a Cajun Craze mat using Snail.  On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the fox image from the Natures Beauty stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink and fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the fox to the sponged panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered the panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a leaf out of Cajun Craze cardstock using the Gathered Leaves Dies (available Sept 4).  I adhered the leaf to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the fox image from the Natures Beauty stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink, stamping off once, on the bottom of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tree image from the Natures Beauty stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off twice, 3 times across the middle of the Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Big Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cajun Craze mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the fox image from the Natures Beauty stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the tree images from the Natures Beauty stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, some full strength and some stamped off, across the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you like my card.  This set will be available for purchase on September 4th.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up We’ll Walrus Be Friends Friendship Card

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers. How has everyone’s week been going?  Hope you are making some fun plans for the upcoming weekend.  I’ll be at work all weekend, end of the  month stuff.

For today’s card I used another new stamp set from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  It’s the Stampin’ Up We’ll Walrus Be Friends Cling Stamp Set.  The images in this are so cute.  Here’s my card for you.

My design today was inspired by Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge #322.  Here is their sketch.

I started with a panel of Seaside Spray cardstock and embossed it using the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder making the waves my stripes.  Using my Stamping Sponge, I sponged Seaside Spray Ink over the panel to highlight the waves a bit.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the walrus floating on the ice berg from the We’ll Walrus Be Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips.  I then colored the image in using my Gray Granite and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the walrus image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.   I stamped the sentiment from the We’ll Walrus Be Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a strip of Whisper White cardstock and using my Triple Banner Punch made a banner out of it.  I adhered the sentiment banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the card front to a Seaside Spray card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dot in Seaside Spray to the sentiment banner.

On the inside I stamped another one of the walrus images and the 2 fish images from the We’ll Walrus Be Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of a Whisper White panel.  I colored the image in using my Gray Granite, Pumpkin Pie and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Big Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in the center of the Whisper White panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off, I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped one of the walrus images from the We’ll Always Be Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black memento Ink on the front of the envelope and another one on the envelope flap.  I colored the images in using my Gray Granite, Pumpkin Pie and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Love What You Do

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s week going?  We finally have a couple days without rain.  As of Tuesday my husband was telling me it rained 27 of the past 29 days.  We really need to dry up a little around here.

For today’s card I’ve made a pretty quick and easy one.  I used the soon to retire How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with a couple challenges with my card today.  First off is Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge #316.  Here’s their sketch.

Next is the Global Design Project Color Challenge #189.  Here are their colors.

I started with a Gorgeous Grape card front and adhered a panel of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper, which will be retired as of June 3rd, to it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered a strip of Pineapple Punch cardstock to a mat of Gorgeous Grape cardstock using Snail.  I adhered the matted strip to the center of the card front using Snail.  I wrapped a piece of Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon (retiring as of June 3rd) around the matted strip and the card front and secured it in the back using Snail.  I adhered the card front to a Coastal Cabana card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up Love What You Do Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the flowers in using my Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using my Big Shot and the circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a scalloped circle out of Gorgeous Grape card stock using the Layering Circles Dies.  I adhered the stitched circle to the scalloped circle using Snail and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Big Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I made a banner of the sentiment strip and adhered it to the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a couple of the Glitter Enamel Dots to the banner.

On the inside I stamped the flower image from the Love What You Do stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom corners of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped them with the small watermark stamp from the same stamp set in Pineapple Punch Ink.  I stamped the large watermark image from the same stamp set in Pineapple Punch Ink in the center of the panel stamping off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the A Big Thank You stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the watermark.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Gorgeous Grape mat using Snail, then adhered it to the inside of the Coastal Cabana card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flowers from the Love What You Do stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and back.  I used the small watermark stamp from the same stamp set to color them in with Pineapple Punch Ink.  I adhered a panel of the How Sweet It Is DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! has posted their retiring lists for the 2018-19 Annual Catalog and 2019 Occasions Catalog.  Head over to my online store to pick up those retiring items now!  They’re only available while supplies last from now through June 3!

A few notes about the lists:

  • Due to high demand for retiring stamp sets, these items will have guaranteed availability until May 24; all other products are not guaranteed and are available while supplies last only.
  • Order deadline to get the retiring products:  June 3, 2019; 11:50 PM (MT)

Please note, some of the bundle items may be carrying over into the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  However, the bundle pricing will go away, so get them while you can at the discounted price!!

Stampin’ Up! Retirement List Clarification

It looks like every single stamp set from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog is being retired and that isn’t the case, the carryover sets are being transitioned to Cling Mount.

The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).

If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog!  All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.

You can download copies of the full retiring lists in PDF Form here:

Stampin’ Up Wishing You Well

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  We’re half way through the week, YAY!  ONLY 2 WEEKS TILL SPRING!!  I don’t know about you, but I am definitely getting spring fever.  I can’t wait till it warms up.  I’m done with winter now.

For today’s card I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up Wishing You Well Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog.  I  love this set and it just screams SPRING to me.  Here’s my card.

Today I also played along with 2 challenges.  First is CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #311.  Be sure to stop by to see what everyone has made and to play along.  Here is their sketch.

Next I played along with TGIF Sweet Color Challenge #201.  Be sure to stop by their blog to play along and see everyone’s projects.  Here are their beautiful spring colors.

I started with a So Saffron card front and stamped it with the Stampin’ Up Hardwood Stamp in So Saffron Ink.  I then ran it through my Big Shot using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I adhered it to a Highland Heather mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the bouquet image from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on an angle.  I then stamped the flowers from the same stamp set in Highland Heather Ink on top of the Soft Sea Foam.  I stamped the bow image from the same stamp set on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock in Highland Heather Ink and fussy cut it.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Highland Heather Ink on the bottom left of the artwork.

I adhered the artwork to a Highland Heather mat using Snail and then adhered it to my card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the bow to the artwork using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few So Saffron Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the bouquet image from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on a Whisper White panel stamping it off once.  I stamped the flowers in Highland Heather Ink over the Soft Sea Foam stamping them off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Big Thank You Stamp Set in Highland Heather Ink over the lightly stamped image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat using Snail then adhered it to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the bouquet from the Wishing You Well stamp set on the front of the envelope the same as I did for the card front.  I stamped the Hardwood stamp on the envelope flap in So Saffron Ink.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
