Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Thank You Card

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone get to go apple picking or pumpkin picking?  The extent of my apple picking was going to Costco.  It’s not looking too promising for me going this year.

For today, I made another thank you card.  I need to send quite a few out in the next week or so, so I figured I’d better get busy making extra.  My card design and colors were a challenge given to us by my upline.  She’s doing a weekly challenge for our group.  Here’s my card.

Here are the sketch and colors for our challenge.

I started by embossing a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock I stamped the large leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the image out using the Gathered Leaves Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the larger pumpkin image from the Gather Together stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I colored the pumpkin in using my Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers and cut it out using my Gathered Leaves Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! New Wonders Cling Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce inside the pumpkin.  I adhered the pumpkin to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added 2 large and 2 small Pearl Basic Jewels that I had colored using my Dark Shaded Spruce and Dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.

On the inside I stamped the smaller pumpkin image from the Gather Together stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of a Whisper White panel.  I masked the smaller pumpkins and stamped the larger pumpkin image from the Gather Together stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink next to them.  I colored all the pumpkins in using my Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Big Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped and colored the pumpkin images from the Gather Together stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the inside of the card.  I stamped the large leaf image from the Gather Together stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up New Wonders for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Fun Fold Friday.  Hope you are all ready for the weekend, it’s suppose to be beautiful weather this weekend here.

I needed a card for a sweet little girls birthday and I though I would try a new fun fold today that I’ve never made before.  I’m really having fun playing around with new folds for my cards.  I hope you are trying them along with me. I thought I would use one of my favorite Host sets for my card which I think is perfect for a little girl.  Here’s my card for today.

The colors for my card were inspired by Fab Friday Challenge #170.  Here are their colors.

I started by adhering a panel of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to the folded side of my Grapefruit Grove card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I colored a piece of the Silver 3/8″ Metallic Edged Ribbon using my Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I wrapped the ribbon around the left side of the card front and tied a bow.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the fairy image from the Stampin’ Up Host Exclusive New Wonders Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Magical Mermaid Cling Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel Ink under the fairy image.  I colored the fairy image in using my Call Me Clover, Crumb Cake, Ivory and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the artwork to a Call Me Clover mat using Snail.  I then adhered the matted artwork to the small Grapefruit Grove card front panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a few of the Blueberry Bushel Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the artwork along with a Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel Ink to the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped another one of the fairy images from the New Wonders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink above the sentiment on the Whisper White panel.  I colored the fairy image in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Now to assemble.  I adhered the 3/4″ folded edge to the back of the Whisper White panel so that the artwork folded over the inside of my card, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Call Me Clover mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Grapefruit Grove card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off, I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped a fairy image from the New Wonders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored it in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a panel of the Bird Ballad DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up New Wonders Birthday Card

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  Are you almost ready for the weekend?  It’s coming up really quick now.  I never made it to the 4-H Fair yesterday.  We had bad thunder storms and a lot of rain.  I feel bad for all those kids that worked so hard on their projects and with their animals to have the 1st day be rained out.  Today and tomorrow are suppose to be beautiful so hopefully they will have a good turn out.

For today’s card I used a Host Exclusive set.  There are a few sets in the catalogs that are set aside just for hosts to earn.  I used one of my favorites, the Stampin’ Up New Wonders Cling Stamp Set.  I just love the fairy images in this set.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #320 today.  Here’s their sketch.

I also played along with TGIF Challenge #223.  Here are their colors.

I started by adhering a Coastal Cabana panel of the Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Melon Mambo mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panel to a Gorgeous Grape card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped one of the fairy images from the New Wonders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I only colored the hair and skin of the fairy in using my Crumb Cake and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered it to a Melon Mambo scalloped circle mat, which I cut out using my Layering Circles Dies, using Snail.  I adhered the artwork just under the DSP strip using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the New Wonders stamp set on a strip of Melon Mambo cardstock in VersaMark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I punched the top of the strip using the  Delightful Tag Topper Punch.  I adhered the tag to the card front using a Glue Dot and Stampin’ Dimensional.  I added a small bow that I had made from my Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine and adhered it using a Glue Dot.  I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots to the tag and the card front.

On the inside I stamped another one of the fairy images from the New Wonders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamping off twice, on a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the leaf image from the New Wonders stamp set in all 4 corners in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the New Wonders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on top of the fairy image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Melon Mambo mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Gorgeous Grape card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the fairy image from the New Wonders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Painted Harvest Triple Time Thank You

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone do anything fun?  I actually had a really fun day at work Saturday.  The group that I work with are always a lot of fun.  As busy as it was with our bucket sale going on, we laughed and had a really good time which made the day fly by.  Sunday I was able to get some crafting time in, which is always relaxing for me.

For today’s card I used the Triple Time Technique for you  Here’s my card.

My card played along with the Color Throwdown Challenge #554.  Here are their colors.

I started by layering the 3 Whisper White panels of cardstock together with the tiniest amount of Snail just so that they would stay in place while I was stamping.  I first stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up New Wonders Host Exclusive Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the smallest Whisper White panel.   I then stamped the 1st part of the sunflower from the Stampin’ Up Painted Harvest Photopolymer Stamp Set randomly around using Real Red Ink that I stamped off once.  I then stamped the 2nd part of the flower from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink on top of the 1st part of the flower.

I stamped all the centers of the flowers from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the seed image from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink in the center of each flower.  I stamped the 1st part of the leaf image from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Old Olive Ink randomly around the layered panels.  I stamped the 2nd part of the leaf image from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Old Olive Ink on top of the 1st image stamping off once.  I carefully took the panels apart and adhered the small and medium one to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail.  I adhered all the layered panels together, making sure to line up the flowers and leaves, using Snail.

I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the card front 3 times and tied a knot.  With another piece of Linen Thread I made a double bow and adhered it to the card front using a Glue Dot.  I colored a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels using my Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker and adhered them to the smallest panel.  I adhered the card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped a few more flowers and leaves from the Painted Harvest stamp set the same as I did for the card front on a Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail and adhered it to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I did not use a sentiment on the inside so that I could write my own thank you.

To finish my card off I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Painted Harvest stamp set on the front of the envelope and the envelope flap the same as I did for the card front.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Floral Essence Thank You Card

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone do anything fun?  I went for a ‘walk’ with my husband and daughter to Duke Foundation which is right near where I live.  There are beautiful gardens, landscaping and waterfalls throughout the foundation.  There are bridges that go over different lakes on the property, one in particular leads to a meditation garden which is simply gorgeous.  Our walk ended up being over 3 hours and 7 1/2 miles long.

For today’s card I used a few different stamp sets.  I picked one for my focal image, one for the stripes and 2 different ones for the sentiments.  I like mixing stamps set on cards to give it a different look sometimes.  I was pretty happy how my card came out and all I used was Stamp, Ink and Paper, the basics to card making.   Here’s my card.

My card was inspired by 2 challenges.  First was the Colour & Sketch Challenge #326.  Here are their colors.

The other one that inspired me was the Just Add Ink Challenge #462.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the sketched flower from the Stampin’ Up Floral Essence Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the solid flowers from the Floral Essence stamp set on either side of the sketched flower in Gorgeous Grape Ink using the masking technique.  I stamped the leaves from the Floral Essence stamp set around the flowers in Mossy Meadow Ink.  I stamped the center of the flowers in Sahara Sand Ink stamping off once.  I colored the sketched flower in using my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the leaves.  I adhered the artwork to a Gorgeous Grape mat using Snail.

On a Whisper White card front I stamped the distressed filigree image from the Stampin’ Up Woven Heirlooms Cling Stamp Set using Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow Inks.  I adhered the card front to a Gorgeous Grape card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the top corner of the artwork, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up New Wonders Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on an angle.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the larger solid flower image from the Floral Essence stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink on the bottom corner of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the smaller solid flower image from the Floral Essence stamp set in Gorgeous Grape Ink, stamping off once, on either side of the Calypso Coral flower.  I stamped the leaves from the Floral Essence stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink around the flowers.  I stamped the flower centers in Sahara Sand Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Gorgeous Grape card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flowers from the Floral Essence stamp set on the envelope front the same way I did on the inner liner.  I stamped the distressed filigree image from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set on the envelope flap the same way I did on the card front.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up New Wonders for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and that means it’s time for another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some amazing projects. This month our theme is ‘BIRTHDAY’. We can interpret this any way we would like to. If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects. If you’ve hopped over from Karen Finkle , welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.

For today’s card I used a new  Host Exclusive stamp set from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with Sunday Stamps challenge #206  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with TGIF color challenge #215  Here are their colors.

I started by adhering a panel of Granny Apple Green Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the large image from the Stampin’ Up New Wonders Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory, Granny Apple Green and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the New Wonders stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the bottom left of the artwork panel.  I adhered the artwork to a Night of Navy mat using Snail.

On a panel of Pool Party cardstock, I stamped the small leaf image from the New Wonders stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the top and bottom.  I adhered the matted artwork to the Pool Party panel using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the small leaf image from the New Wonders stamp set in Granny Apple Green in across the top and bottom of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party Mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the girl image from the New Wonders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a Granny Apple Green panel of the Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.
