Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s week going? I hope you are having a productive one.
Today’s card was requested by my son. This past weekend they celebrated one of his friend’s birthdays. He’s been friends with him since the 1st grade, my son is 26 now. He said all his friend asked for was a card made by me. So, here’s what I came up with.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Catch You Later Cling Stamp Set along with the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I started by adhering an In Good Taste DSP card front to a Smoky Slate card base. I adhered a smaller panel of In Good Taste DSP to a Misty Moonlight mat and then to the card front.
On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the cant & fish image from the Catch you Later stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Pale papaya, Pool Party and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the sentiment from Catch You Later stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the Basic White panel. I cut the image out using my Tasteful Labels Dies. I cut the sentiment out using my Paper Snips.
I adhered the die cut image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the cut-up sentiment to the side DSP panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Catch You Later stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the cat & fish image from the Catch You Later stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using my Pale Papaya, Pool Party and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Misty Moonlight mat and then to the inside of the Smoky Slate card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the cat & fish image from the Catch You Later stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored it in using my Pale Papaya, Pool Party and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.
