Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. It’s Cinco de Mayo, who’s having Mexican tonight for dinner? Maybe tacos or burritos or maybe just nachos. I’ll be at work all day, so I’m not quite sure what we will be having. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have a Color Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Colors.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Bundle along with the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder for my card today

These are our colors for this week.

I started by stamping the sprig image from the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink on a Crumb Cake card base. I embossed a Basic White card front using the Brick & Mortar 3d Embossing Folder. I gently brushed my Crumb Cake stamp pad across the embossed panel letting the ink catch on just some of the bricks.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the 3 flowerpot images from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink. 2 of the flowerpots I fussy cut using my Paper Snips and the other I punched out using the Cactus Builder Punch. I stamped the 3 cactus images from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent Inks. I stamped the tiny flower image from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink 4 times, twice full-strength ink and twice stamped off once on scrap paper. I punched out the oval cactus images that I stamped in Soft Succulent Ink and the tiny flower images using the Cactus Builder Punch. I fussy cut all the other images using my Paper Snips. I adhered the flowerpots and the cactus images to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I wrapped a piece of Evening Evergreen baker’s twine from the Fan Baker’s Twine Pack, around the top of the panel and tied a small bow. On a small strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink. I cut the end of the strip into a banner using the Banner Pick A Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the card front, over the baker’s twine, using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to the Crumb Cake card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Calypso Coral Polished Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Cactus Cuties in Evening Evergreen Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink, stamped off once, on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the cactus image on the flowerpot in Evening Evergreen Ink, stamped off once on scrap paper. I stamped the tiny flower image from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink on either side of the sentiment. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Crumb Cake mat and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the larger cactus image from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink and the flowers in Calypso Coral Ink. I stamped the sentiment on the flowerpot in Crumb Cake Ink. On the envelope flap I stamped the flower and sprig images from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake Inks.

Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have a Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Sketch.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of Hand Penned DSP to a Garden Green card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the outline floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered a Post-It note to the panel and stamped the floral image once. I flipped the panel over and adhered the Post-It note again and stamped the floral image a second time. I stamped the leaves in Garden Green Ink. I stamped the flowers in Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Pool Party Inks.

I embossed the panel using my Timeworn Type 3d Embossing Folder. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Garden Green cardstock. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment out using my Waves Dies.

I threaded White Bakers Twine through the sentiment and adhered it to the back with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple Brushed Brass Butterflies and a Bumblebee Trinket to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the outlined floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the leaves in Gaden Green Ink and the flowers in Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Pool Party Inks. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat and then to the inside of the Garden Green card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the outlined floral image from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the leaves and flowers the same as i did for the card front. I adhered a panel of Hand Penned DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through and see everyone’s projects today. Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Hello

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans in store. I’m working all day today, which is fine since it’s supposed to rain again. I do have off tomorrow though YAY!!!

I was busy yesterday getting everything ready to send out the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalogs to my customers and lost track of time. I was focused on getting them to the post office and shipped out. With that being said, I have a quick card for you today using retiring items. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper. Not only both of these items will be retiring, but 2 of the colors I used, Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider, will be retiring too.

I started by adhering a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to a Cinnamon Cider card base.

I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the new Stylish Shapes Dies (available May 3rd). I stamped the flowerpot image from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the cactus image from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the flowerpot. I stamped the flower image from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Bumblebee Ink on the cactus image. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Cinnamon Cider mat on an angel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple 2020-2022 In-Color Square Gems to the sentiment and a Bumblebee Trinket to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flowerpot, cactus and flower images from the Cactus Cuties stamp set the same as I did for the card front on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Cinnamon Cider mat and then to the inside of the Cinnamon Cider card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the cactus, flower and flowerpot images from the Cactus Cuties stamp set them same as I did for the card on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties For Fun Fold Friday with Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends, welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s St. Patrick’s Day? Did everyone have a good week and looking forward to the weekend? I have to work all day Saturday and Sunday.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Bundle along with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here is the template for scoring and cutting the cardstock for the card base.

I started by scoring, cutting and folding the cardstock as in the photo above. I adhered panels of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the coordinating Mossy Meadow mats. I adhered the layered panels to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the cactus and cactus branch from the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Photopolymer Stamp Set that does not go with the punch in Mossy Meadow Ink and fussy cut them using my Paper Snips. I stamped the flowerpot with the diamonds from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink and fussy cut it using my Paper Snips. I stamped the cactus and cactus branch from the Cactus Cuties that go with the Cactus Builder Punch in Pear Pizzazz Ink and punched them out. I stamped the lined flowerpot from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink and punched it out using my Cactus Builder Punch. I stamped the flower image from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Mango Melody and Polished Pink Ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock and punched them out using the Cactus Builder Punch. I adhered the Mossy Meadow cactus branch to the Mossy Meadow cactus and then to the diamond flowerpot and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the 3 Mango Melody flowers to the cactus. I adhered the Pear Pizzazz cactus branches to the Pear Pizzazz cactus and then to the lined flowerpot. I adhered this cactus to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the Polished Pink flowers to the branches.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink to the Basic White strip of cardstock. I adhered the Basic White cardstock to a Mossy Meadow mat and then to the bottom of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few 2020-2022 In-Color Square Gems to the sentiment and a Bumblebee Trinket by the flowers.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the lined flowerpot from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the cactus and cactus branch from the Cactus Cuties stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink in the flowerpot and the flowers in Polished Pink Ink on the cactus. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and then to the inside of the Pear Pizzazz card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the cactus, flowerpot and flowers from the Cactus Cuties stamp set on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you will CASE this card and please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under my post. I’d love to see your take on the card.
