Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Birthday

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Yesterday was such a beautiful day here in NJ. It was a little cool, in the 60’s, but sunny and beautiful. It felt like spring was in the air. I did have to work all day, but it was fun seeing all the dogs that came in to visit (and there were a lot of them).

I have one more card featuring the DSP. After making these cards the past few days, I realized I don’t use DSP nearly as much as I like. I love that I can create all different designs with the DSP and a sentiment. You can make these cards with any DSP you have and some of them use just scraps. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Moments Birthday 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set along with Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper and the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Moments Birthday 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by embossing a Pear Pizzazz card front using the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder. I adhered the Pear Pizzazz card front to a Pear Pizzazz card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Moments Birthday 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered a panel of Awash In Beauty DSP to a Blushing Bride mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered 3 panels of Awash In Beauty DSP to a Blushing Bride Mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Moments Birthday 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Waves Dies. I threaded a piece of 1/2″ Balmy Blue/White Variegated Ribbon through the ends of the die cut piece. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Moments Birthday 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a strip of the Awash In Beauty DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Blushing Bride mat then to the inside of the Pear Pizzazz card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of Awash In Beauty DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like the card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your Demonstrator. Just click HERE to go directly to my online store or drop me an email if you have any questions.

MY CURRENT HOST CODE IS:    7KF3QB4G

Use this host code when placing an order with me. When you order $50 or greater you will receive a free gift from me! If your order is over $150, please do not use this code, but you’ll still get the free gift. The free gift is your choice of any 1 item valued up to $10.00 from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog or the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog!  Unfortunately, packs of cardstock are no longer an option for a free gift. Shipping has become too expensive to ship and it’s costing me as much to ship as the cardstock costs. For any orders $50 or more I will also send you my monthly class tutorials.  Click HERE or go to my Customer Rewards for more details and to see what this month’s tutorials are.

Please remember to use my current Host Code and make sure that you can see my name on the final checkout page listed as your Demonstrator when you order so that you know that you’re ordering with me, and you’ll get my rewards!

Happy Stamping, Karen

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Stampin’ Up! Color Refresh Coming Soon!!!

Stampin’ Up1 is all about creativity and sharing what we love with those we love. And that means providing a compelling selection of high-quality craft supplies in coordinating colors and designs. We’re always working to not only meet trends but set them. That means evaluating and even refreshing our current products—This year we’re refreshing our complete color collection!

Stampin’ Up! has announced that, in addition to the new 2023-2025 In Colors, we’ll be getting some new colors in the core color families (Brights, Neutrals, Regals and Subtles) with the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog! You’ll find some new friends and returning favorites among our Brights, Neutrals, Regals, and Subtles. And you won’t want to miss our new 2023–2025 In Colors. We hope you’re as excited as we are to start crafting with these fresh new colors and to share them with your fellow crafting enthusiasts.

We haven’t been told what colors will be retiring, but if you have any favorites that you can’t live without, stock up now!   We do know that the current 2021-2023 In-Colors (Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent) will be retiring. You might want to stock up on the Cardstock, DSP, Reinkers, Stampin’ Blends Markers, Stampin’ Write Markers, Ribbons etc. When supplies run out, they will not be restocking them.

More details about the updates to the color list will be announced on March 29 so look for more information then.  And pick up a few of your favorite colors now to make sure that you’ll have a good supply if your favorites end up retiring with the color refresh!

Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have a Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Sketch.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of Hand Penned DSP to a Garden Green card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the outline floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered a Post-It note to the panel and stamped the floral image once. I flipped the panel over and adhered the Post-It note again and stamped the floral image a second time. I stamped the leaves in Garden Green Ink. I stamped the flowers in Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Pool Party Inks.

I embossed the panel using my Timeworn Type 3d Embossing Folder. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Garden Green cardstock. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment out using my Waves Dies.

I threaded White Bakers Twine through the sentiment and adhered it to the back with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple Brushed Brass Butterflies and a Bumblebee Trinket to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the outlined floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the leaves in Gaden Green Ink and the flowers in Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Pool Party Inks. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat and then to the inside of the Garden Green card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the outlined floral image from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the leaves and flowers the same as i did for the card front. I adhered a panel of Hand Penned DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through and see everyone’s projects today. Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Foil

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. Is anyone doing anything fun this weekend? I actually have off today, YAY!!! I do have to work all day tomorrow though.

Today’s card is a quick one that I threw together using some old and new items. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Blue Foil Paper for my card today.

I started by embossing a Coastal Cabana panel of the Blue Foil Paper using my Seashells 3D Embossing Folder.

I cut a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock using the Seaside Seashells Dies. I only cut the larger seaweed part of the die. I snipped it using my Paper Snips. On a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock I stamped the seaweed image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink. On a scrap or Soft Sea Foam cardstock I stamped the smaller seaweed image in Soft Sea Foam Ink. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in tuxedo Black Ink and the small scalloped sea shell in Blushing Bride Ink. On a panel of Shimmer White cardstock I stamped the sand dollar image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Versamark Ink. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the shells and seaweed images out using my Seaside Seashells Dies. I cut the sentiment out using my Waves Dies.

I threaded 2 pieces of the Pool Party 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon through the die cut sentiment and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered the ribbon on the back of the card front using Tear & Tape. I arranged the shells and seaweed the way I wanted and adhered them using Glue Dots. I added a few Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels to the sentiment panel. I adhered the card front to a Basic Whtie card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the seaweed images and the seashell from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sea Foam Inks. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Coastal Cabana mat and then to the inside of the Basic White card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. On the envelope front I stamped the seaweed and seashells from the Friends are Like Seashells stamp set the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Waves of The Ocean Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

  • 3 Day Shipping Upgrade: $15.00 USD ($5.00 USD increase from the previous rate)
  • The expedited shipping option rates above are calculated in addition to the standard shipping rate (e.g., the next day shipping option would cost $7.95 USD or 11%—whichever is greater—plus $38.00 USD)

I want to make sure you’re aware of this change, as it impacts both you and me.  Stampin’ Up! has worked to keep the increase as minimal as possible so they can continue bringing you the unique, high-quality, and coordinated paper crafting products that you love.

Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Gate Fold

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. I hope you week has started out great. I can’t believe we are halfway through the month already.

Today’s card is another one that we made at our quarterly team meeting on Sunday. This one was designed by one of my team members Rosie Kean. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Bundle along with the Waves of The Ocean Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering 2 panels of Waves of The Ocean DSP to Pacific Point mats. I adhered the layered panels to a Thick Basic White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I added a few of the die cut birds from Blue Foil Specialty Paper that I cut using the Waves Dies.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the wave image from the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Cling Stamp Set in Pacific Point Ink. I adhered a Blue Foil Wave that I cut using my Waves Dies. I fussy cut around the wave using my Paper Snips. I adhered the wave to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue only on the left side.

On the inside I adhered 2 more panels of the Waves of The Ocean DSP to Pacific Point mats and then to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiments from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the pelican image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pacific Point mat and then to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the pelican image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Father’s Day Fun Fold

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Is it starting to feel like spring by any of you? We’ve had a couple tease days then back to cold.

Yesterday we had out in person team meeting, which is always fun seeing everyone. After out meeting we got to stamp a little with some team members presenting. This week I’ll be showing a few of the cards that we made. I was one of the presenters. The card I have today is the one that I showed, and everyone made. When I did the presentation, I changed things up a little, I’ll show that one another day. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Celebrating You Cling Stamp Set and the Waves of The Ocean Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering the 4 smaller panels of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the 4 smaller Basic White mats. I then adhered them to the 4 small panels on the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the longer panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the longer Basic Whtie Mat and then to the panel of Pacific Point cardstock and set it aside. On the 2″ X 5 1/2″ panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the pelican image from the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Waves Dies. From the same panel of Basic Whtie cardstock, I cut the 2 cloud images and the detailed cloud images using my Waves Dies. I adhered the detailed cloud die to the bottom of each of the clouds. I cut 6 birds from the Basic Black cardstock using the Waves Dies.

I cut the panel of Blue Foil Specialty Paper using my Waves Dies. I adhered the wave to the 2 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP. I cut around the wave using my Paper Snips leaving about 1/8″ around the wave. I adhered the wave to the long-layered panel of DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the bottom.

I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink on the Basic White panel. I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the cut pelican image to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the cloud to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered 3 of the die cut birds around the sentiment using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. To adhere the bridge, I used 2 pieces of Tear & Tape on both ends of the bridge. I adhered the left side first, then I folded the card flat and adhered the right side lining it up with the edges.

On the back panel of Basic Whtie cardstock, I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink, stamping it off 3 times on scrap paper. I stamped the sentiment form the Celebrating You stamp set in Pacific Point Ink. I adhered the other cloud to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the 3 birds using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue, around the sentiment. I adhered the Basic White panel to the back of the card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the pelican image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set on the envelope front and colored it using my Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Waves of The Ocean DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Fun Fold Friday Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends, welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Are you ready for the weekend? I’m off tomorrow, but I have to work on Sunday.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Waves of The Ocean Collection for my card today.

I started by placing a panel of the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper on the front of a Petal Pink card base and using my Hippo & Friends Dies I cut through the 2 panels using the 3rd largest die. I adhered the DSP to a Coastal Cabana Blue Foil mat using Stampin’ Seal and then lining up the openings I adhered the layered panel to the front of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut the Waves Dies from a panel of Coastal Cabana Blue Foil and adhered it to a panel of the Waves of The Ocean DSP using an Adhesive Sheet. I cut the DSP around the wave using my Paper Snips, then adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and cut off the excess. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the pelican image from the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the image out using my Waves Dies along with cutting out the clouds and detailed cloud dies. I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. From a small panel of Smoky Slate cardstock, I cut a few of the birds using my Waves Dies.

I adhered the pelican image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the cloud images to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals overlapping the opening a little. I adhered the birds to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I scored and folded the smaller card base. Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set on the front of the small card base in Coastal Cabana Ink. I adhered the other detailed wave I cut from the Coastal Cabana Blue Foil paper using an Adhesive Sheet. I adhered the small card to the inside of the Petal Pink card base opening the opposite way. I closed the cards and stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink through the opening on the front of the card. I stamped a few of the bird image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the small card front. I added a cloud that I had die cut from a panel of Basic White cardstock using my Waves Dies, to the top of the panel. I added a few of the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels to the large and small card fronts.

On the inside of the small card base I stamped the birds and sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration in Smoky Salte Ink. I added a cloud that I had die cut from a panel of Basic White cardstock using my Waves Dies, on the top of the panel. I stamped the pelican image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set on the opposite side in Tuxedo Black Ink and very lightly colored it, so the ink didn’t bleed through, using my Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Coastal Cabana Ink.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the pelican image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and colored it the same as I did for the card. I stamped a couple of the birds in Smoky Slate Ink by the pelican. I adhered a panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you will CASE this card and please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under my post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

Paper Pumpkin Price Increases Beginning March 1

On March 1, 2022, Paper Pumpkin kits will see a slight increase in price for both month-to-month orders and prepaid subscriptions. Despite Covid’s continued strain on the global economy, Stampin’ Up! has been working diligently to maintain the lowest possible price for our Paper Pumpkin kits–including absorbing costs to prevent price increases. However, as we continue to see greater cost increases to raw materials, shipping, and overhead, we have made the decision to increase pricing in order to maintain the high quality and value of the monthly kit.

Here are the details:

You will begin to see the price change on paper pumpkin.com

beginning February 11, with the start of the March subscription period.

Shipping added based on order total at time of check out.

Prepaid codes–both redeemed and unredeemed–purchased before the 1 March price change will maintain their full value. No additional payment will be required.

Prices for past kits and refills released before March 1, 2022 will remain unchanged.

Let me know if you have any questions about the price changes.  ***If you purchase Prepaid Paper Pumpkin Kits during February, you’ll save a few $$ and possibly earn some free Sale-a-bration items too!

Stampin’ Up! Let’s Set Sail for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already and on our way to the weekend. I hope you are starting to make some plans. Yesterday’s post I got a little mixed up on my days. When I have a day on the weekend off, I get a little confused of what day it is lol. I had yesterday off and was able to get a lot done between crafting, cleaning, laundry and paying bills. I’ve learned to love my days when I’m home alone. No one to be calling to me to look at this or help them with that. I can just do my thing and I get so much done.

It’s time for another inspiration challenge for The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo is Cozy Cabin.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Let’s Set Sail Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Gentle Waves Cling Stamp Set for my Clean and Layered card today. I was inspired by the colors and the sailboat on the top shelf in the photo.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concepts and join us for our challenge #169.  How are you inspired by this photo?

I started by stamping the water image on a Basic Whtie panel from the Gentle Waves stamp set first in Balmy Blue and I move the stamp slightly and stamped again in Misty Moonlight, stamping off on scrap paper once. I stamped the bird image from the Stampin’ Up! Let’s Set Sail Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink on the top of the panel. I embossed a Basic White card front using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Basic White Thick card base. I adhered the stamped panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sailboat images from the Let’s Set Sail stamp set in Misty Moonlight, Real Red and Sahara Sand Inks. I cut the panel for easy punching of the stamped images. I punched the images out using my Sailboat Builder Punch. I cut 2 clouds from the panel using my Waves Dies (available March 1). I stamped the sentiment from the Let’s Set Sail stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the panel and cut it apart using my Paper Snips.

I adhered the boat images to the stamped panel. I stamped the shadow image from the Let’s Set Sail stamp set below each boat using Misty Moonlight Ink, stamping off once. I adhered the Misty Moonlight sails using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the Real Red Sails using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the clouds to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added the cut-up sentiment to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment form the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Special Moments Cling Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight Ink on a Basic Whtie panel. I stamped the Gentle Waves stamp on the bottom of the panel in Balmy Blue Ink. I stamped the sailboat images from the Let’s Set Sail stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink, the sails in Real Red Ink and the shadow in Misty Moonlight Ink, stamped off once. I stamped the bird image in Smoky Slate Ink on either side of the sentiment. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic White mat and then to the inside of the Basic White thick card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the envelope front the same as I did for the inner liner of the card. I adhered a panel of the Simply Marbleous 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Sneak Peek for Fun Fold Friday with Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I have off tomorrow so I finally get to go to my great nephew’s basketball game. Sunday I’ll be at work all day and we have our monthly team meeting which I’m hoping to sign into while working.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Bundle (available March 1), along with the Stampin’ Up! Gentle Waves Cling Stamp Set and the Waves of The Ocean Designer Series Paper (available March 1), for my fun fold card today.

I started by scoring and folding the 2 card bases as listed in the measurements below. I adhered panels of the Waves of The Ocean DSP to the front of the larger card base and to the inside of the large card base. I adhered the smaller card base to the center back of the large card base first using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I folded the card and adhered the front of the smaller card base to the front of the large card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

This is how the large and small Z-Fold card bases will look adhered together.

I adhered a panel of the Waves of The Ocean DSP to the front of the smaller card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Gentle Waves stamp in Coastal Cabana Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set in Pacific Point Ink.

On a small panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the pelican image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the image out using my Waves Dies. I colored the image using my Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the image to the sentiment panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sentiment panel to a Pacific Point mat and then to the front of the smaller card base so that it is hanging off the right edge. I added a few Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink, stamping off twice on scrap paper, on a Basic Whtie panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink over the wave. I stamped the bird image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the top of the panel. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to the inside of the small card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. I stamped the pelican and bird images from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and colored it using my Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the Gentle Waves stamp on the bottom of the envelope front in Coastal Cabana Ink. I adhered a panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you will CASE this card and please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under the post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!
