Good Monday morning my stamping friends and Happy First Day of SPRING!!! How was everyone’s weekend? The birds are singing my tulips have sprouted, my crocus have bloomed, my daffodils are blooming, and I think I may have even seen some buds on my Bradford Pear tree. Sound like spring to me.

I have a nice simple card for you today using just Stamp, Ink, Paper and an Embellishment. I went back to Simple Stamping for a day. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Every Chapter Cling Stamp Set along with the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Bragworthy Cling Stamp Set for my card.

My colors are from Color Throwdown Challenge #684.

My design and theme is from the Fusion Card Challenge – Bookshelf.

I also joined in with the TGIF Technique Challenge #360 – Simple Stamping.

I started by stamping the book image from Every Chapter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic Whtie card front. I stamped the 2 middle books from Every Chapter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Hand Penned DSP.

I adhered the strip of DSP to my card front lining up the image. I trimmed the sides using my Paper Snips. I colored the cup and glasses in using my Crumb Cake, So Saffron and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I adhered the card front to a Smoky Slate mat and then to a So Saffron card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Classic Matte Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Bragworthy stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the cup and glasses from Every Chapter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake, So Saffron and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Smoky Slate mat and then to the inside of the So Saffron card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the cup and glasses from Every Chapter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and colored it using my Crumb Cake, So Saffron and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Hand Penned DSP to the envelope flap.
