Stampin’ Up! Whale Done Ocean Panel

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. Hope your weekend is going well. Yesterday was a cold snowy day here. When I left for work it was 40 and dropped to 17 by night with wind gusts. Luckily, I was inside working all day. Today is our quarterly team meeting, so I will be attending in person this month.

Today’s card mixes old and new items that just seemed to work together. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Whale Done Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Cling Stamp Set and Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering 3 panels of Waves of the Ocean DSP to Granny Apple Green mats and then to a silver foil card front from the Blue Foil Specialty Paper. I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a stirp of Basic White cardstock I stamped the turtle image from the Whale Done stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I fussy cut the turtle using my Paper Snips. I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the smallest Hippo & Friends Dies. I then stamped the seaweed image from the Whale Done stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink. I stamped the coral image from the Whale Done stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink and the seahorse image in Crumb Cake Ink on the die cut. I stamped the bubble image in Pacific Point Ink. I adhered the turtle image using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the back of the artwork using a Glue Dot and adhered the artwork and sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Whale Done stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the seaweed image in Granny Apple Green Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the coral image in Calypso Coral Ink and the seahorse image in Crumb Cake Ink. I stamped the turtle image in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Night of Navy mat and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the seaweed, coral and seahorse images from the Whale Done stamp set on the envelope front in Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake Inks. I adhered a panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
