Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Thanksgiving

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s week started off?  I hope everyone has a productive week.

Today’s card is another one we made at our virtual in person team meeting on Sunday.  My card for today was designed by one of my team members Mary.  Mary loves making collage cards and they always look incredible.   Here’s my card for today.

I started by embossing a panel of Cinnamon Cider cardstock using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Cinnamon Cider card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a panel of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and Plaid Tidings 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper using the 2nd largest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I adhered the 2 die cut rectangles to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue both on slight angles.  On a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock I stamped the pumpkin image and the line with leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink about an inch apart.  I colored the images in using my Pumpkin Pie and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Bumblebee and Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Markers.  I cut the image out using the 2nd smallest label from the Celebration Labels Dies.  I adhered a piece of 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon in a wide ‘Z’ to the card front using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the label on top of the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the pumpkin image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set 2 times on a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock in Early Espresso Ink and colored just the pumpkins in using my Pumpkin Pie and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker.  I fussy cut just the pumpkins using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the pumpkins to the label using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut 2  of the small sprigs from the Celebration Labels Dies from a panel of Bumblebee cardstock and adhered them under the pumpkins using Glue Dots.  On a small panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Bumblebee Ink and cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the label using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the top where it overlapped the pumpkins.  I added a Bumblebee 2020-2022 In-Color Enamel Dot to the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Wish for Everything Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the pumpkin image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the panel and the line with leaves image in Early Espresso Ink on the top of the panel.  I colored the images in using my Pumpkin Pie and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Bumblebee and Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Cinnamon Cider card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the pumpkin image and line with leaves image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the top and bottom of the envelope front.  I colored it in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a panel of Plaid Tidings DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked the card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Christmas

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone do anything fun?  It was a gorgeous one here and I had the whole weekend off from work, YAY!!!  We had our in person, virtually, team meeting yesterday, we have such an awesome team.  Even though we’re all in our own homes, I love stamping with everyone and it’s always great to be able to put the faces with their names.

Over the next couple days I will be sharing some of the projects that we made after our business meeting.   All the cards we made used the Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Bundle, but they are all so different.  My first card was designed by my Upline Jaimie.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by embossing a Cherry Cobbler card front using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and adhering it to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Plaid Tidings 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper using the 3rd largest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered it to a Whisper White mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the right side of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, I cut a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock using the 4th smallest die and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Whisper White cardstock using the 2nd smallest label die from the Celebration Labels Dies and scored it in half.  I stamped the flourish image from the Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on an angle on the front of the label.  I colored the image in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I added a couple Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of the label.

On the inside of the label, I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrations Tidings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink.  I adhered the label to the Shaded Spruce panel using Stampin’ Seal and adhered another Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the Shaded Spruce panel.

On the inside I stamped the flourish image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the 2 corners of a Whisper White panel.  I colored the images in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set in the center of the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flourish image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink twice on the envelope front and colored the images in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a thin strip of Plaid Tidings DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked the card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Special Someone for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How is everyone doing today?  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a Theme challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects .
Here is our theme for this week.

My niece needed a card for a friends son who’s turning 4 and she wanted something with animals.  Worked out perfectly for me.  Here’s my take on the theme.

I started by embossing a panel of Pacific Point cardstock using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder.  Since this is a mini embossing folder, I embossed half the panel then moved the embossing folder over to the other side, being sure to match up the dots, and embossed again.    I adhered the card front to a Pacific Point card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a panel of Granny Apple Green cardstock using the grass die from the Special Day Dies and adhered it to the bottom of a Balmy Blue panel using Stampin’ Seal.  I cut 3 rectangles out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the racoon outline image from the Stampin’ Up! Special Someone Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped the racoon fill image over the outlined image in Sahara Sand Ink.  I stamped the squirrel and mouse outline images from the Special Someone stamp set in Basic Gray Ink.  I stamped the squirrel fill image over the outlined image in Smoky Slate Ink and the mouse fill image over the outlined image in Smoky Slate Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the balloon outline and string images from the Special Someone stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Real Red Inks.  I stamped the balloon fill images over the outlined images in the same colors stamping off once.  I cut all the images out using my Special Day Dies.

I adhered the racoon image to the largest rectangle and the squirrel and mouse images to the smaller rectangles using Glue Dots, tucking them in the grass a little.  I adhered the rectangles to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the strings and balloons to the squirrel and mouse using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On 1/4″ strips of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiments from the Special Someone stamp set in Pacific Point Ink and adhered them to the artwork using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Pacific Point Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the outline balloon and string images from the Special Someone stamp set around the sentiment in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Real Red Inks.  I stamped the balloon fill image over the outlined images in the same colors stamping off once.  I had stamped and cut out 2 of the racoon images on the Whisper White panel so I decided to adhere one of them to the inside using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Pacific Point card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the racoon outline image from the Special Someone stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the racoon fill image over the outlined image in  Sahara Sand Ink.  I stamped the balloon outline and string images from the Special Someone stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Real Red Inks on the envelope flap.  I stamped the  balloon fill image over the outlined images in the same colors stamping off once.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! In The Pines Christmas

Good Sunday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s weekend going?  Hope you are enjoying some fun activities.

I have another quick and easy card for you today using one of the new bundles from the August – December 2020 Mini Catalog.  Here’s today’s card.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches #450.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper to a Mossy Meadow card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the outline tree image from the Stampin’ Up! In The Pines Photopolymer Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink.  I stamped the fill image from the In The Pines stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink over the outlined images.  I cut the 3 trees out using my Pine Woods Dies.  On a panel of
Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Cling Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies, making sure the sentiment was at the top of the rectangle.

I adhered the trees to the bottom of the rectangle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue for the bottom one and Stampin’ Dimensionals for the top 2.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs Cling Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the fill image of the tree from the In The Pines stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the bottom of the panel, one full strength and the 2nd stamping off once.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the outline tree image from the In The Pines stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the fill image tree from In The Pines stamp set over the outline image in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I adhered a panel of Heartwarming Hugs DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Sounds of The Season

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s week started off?  Today is the first day in months that I am home alone.  My husband had to go into the office, my son is at work and my daughter is house sitting at my nieces.  It’s just me and my dog for the day.  I can have some peace and quiet.  I love being in the house alone in silence.  I am so looking forward to just doing my own thing today without being interrupted.

For today I played with a new set to me and made you a Christmas card.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors are from ‘Just Us Girls’ color challenge # 549.  As soon as I saw their colors I thought they would make a beautiful Christmas card. Here are their colors.

My design is from Mojo Monday Sketch #543.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of the returning Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Merry Merlot card front using Stampin’ Seal.  I cut a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid Photopolymer Stamp Set on the top of the rectangle panel in Merry Merlot Ink and adhered it to the card front between the 2 panels using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I embossed another panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using my Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it near the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut 3 bells out of a Gold Foil Sheet using the Sounds of the Season Dies.  I cut the boughs from the Sounds of the Season Dies out of a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock along with just the tops of the 2 bells with the holly leaves.  I cut the tops of the 2 bells with the holly leaves out of a panel of Merry Merlot cardstock also.  I wanted the holly from the Pretty Peacock panel and the berries from the Merry Merlot panel.  I inserted the holly and berries into the gold bells keeping them in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the bells.  I adhered the center bell pieces which I had cut from  the Merry Merlot and Pretty Peacock card stock, in the center of the bells using a tiny drop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies out of a panel of Shimmery White cardstock.  I attached a piece of the gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack, around the top of the bells.  I adhered the bells to the Shimmery White stitched circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the Pretty Peacock pine boughs to the top of the circle using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the gold trim to the back of the circle using Stampin’ Seal.  I tied a small bow using the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon and adhered it to the top of the circle using Glue Dots.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cherish The Season Cling Stamp Set to the center of a Very Vanilla panel using Merry Merlot Ink.  I stamped the pine boughs from the Cherish the Season stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the top of the panel.  I stamped the smallest bell from the Cherish the Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the boughs.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the pine boughs from the Cherish the Season stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the front of the envelope.  I stamped the smallest bell from Cherish the Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the boughs.  I adhered a panel of Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Fishes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How is everyone doing today?  I’m on my why to Philly today to visit the animals at the zoo.  The zoo has re-opened to members, but you had to make reservations.  I’m looking forward to going, other that the bit of having to wear a mask all day in the heat.  I’m going with my daughter, niece and her 2 boys and I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog.  If you are starting with me, be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see their projects. This week we had a Color Challenge.  Here are the colors we had to work from.  I chose Blackberry Bliss as my choice color.

Here is my card using these colors.

My design is from Try Stamping on Tuesdays Challenge #465.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Just Jade card front using the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered a panel of Whale of a Time 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Pool Party mat using Stampin’ Seal and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of the Whale of a Time DSP using the 5th from the largest Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I cut a panel of Pacific Point cardstock using the 4th from the largest Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the DSP to the Pacific Point panel using Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a piece of Vellum cardstock I stamped the turtle image from Stampin’ Up! Whale Done Photopolymer Stamp Set once in Just Jade Ink and once in Pacific Point Ink.  I stamped the sentiment and the school of fish image from Whale Done stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink.  I cut the image out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered it to the card front using a couple tiny dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added some Whale of a Time Sequins to the vellum panel.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment form the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the turtle image from the Whale Done stamp set on either side of the sentiment, once in Just Jade Ink and once in Pacific Point Ink.  I stamped the seaweed images from the Whale Done stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Just Jade Ink.  I stamped the school of fish image 3 times in Blackberry Bliss Ink and I stamped the bubble image from the Whale Done stamp set in Pool Party Ink above the fish.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Just Jade mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the seaweed images from the Whale Done stamp set in Just Jade Ink on the sides of the envelope front.  I stamped the school of fish image from the Whale Done stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink multiple times across the bottom of the envelope front and stamped the bubble image from the Whale Done stamp set in Pool Party Ink above the fish.  I adhered a panel of Whale of a Time DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Seaside Notions Birthday for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month so that means Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. If you’ve hopped over from Karen Finkle’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “Celebrate Summer”.  We can interpret this however we want.  I chose to make a birthday care since I have a lot of summer birthdays.  Here’s my card.

I played along with Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #343.  Here is their Inspiration.  I’d like to be at any of these places right now.  I love spending time on the beach, it’s so peaceful and relaxing to me listening to the waves and seagulls.

I started by stamping the coral, seahorse and seashell images from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Notions Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the images in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered them each to a Crumb Cake mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of a Petal Pink card front and embossed the panel using my Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the matted panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the card front to a Calypso Coral card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few Elegant Faceted Gems.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Best Year Cling Stamp Set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Soft Suede Ink.  I stamped the coral image from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink and colored it in using my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the seahorse and coral images from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front and the seashell image on the envelope flap.  I colored the images in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stampin’ Up! Slice of Happiness

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s week started off? Hope everyone is having a productive one.  I’m hoping the weather holds out and I can take a trip down the shore this week.  Where we go, we have to buy tickets in advance now with everything going on. Tickets go on sale at 7am and last week my niece and nephew tried to go and they were sold out before 7:10.  They are really limiting how many people can go on the beach, so fingers crossed that no one wants to go Thursday.

I have one more card for you today using the adorable Stampin’ Up! Cute Fruit Photopolymer Stamp Set from the beginner catalog and it’s a super simple one.  If you are new at stamping, this catalog is perfect for you.  It all starts with simple stamping, I just kind of added a little extra.  Here’s my card for you.

My colors were from TGIF Challenge #271.  Here are their colors.

I started by cutting 6 of the smallest square from the Stitched Shapes Dies out of Whisper White cardstock and 6 out of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  I adhered the squares to a Granny Apple Green card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Flirty Flamingo mat using Stampin’ Seal.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the citrus fruit images from the Cute Fruit stamp set.  I stamped the outer lime image in Granny Apple Green and the inner lime image in Granny Apple Green stamped off once.  I stamped the outer orange image in Mango Melody Ink and the inner orange image in Mango Melody Ink stamped off once.  I stamped the outer grapefruit image in Mango Melody Ink stamped off once and the inner grapefruit image in Flirty Flamingo Ink stamped off once.  I stamped the smiley face image from the Cute Fruit stamp set on the limes in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I adhered all the fruit images to the stitched white squares using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Cute Fruit stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Mango Melody panel.  I cut the panel out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  There wasn’t one that fit perfectly so I had to make my own.  I did this by cutting part way through with the 2nd smallest Stitched Rectangle Die.  I moved the rectangle and made sure that the stitches were lined up, turned it around and ran it through my die cutting machine part way through again.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a multi looped bow with Linen Thread and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the matted card front to a Basic Black card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the fruit with out faces and the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment form the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the citrus fruit image from the Cute Fruit stamp set around the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody Inks.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Flirty Flamingo mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the citrus fruit image from the Cute Fruit stamp set on the bottom of the envelope front in Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody Ink.  I stamped the face image from the Cute Fruit on the fruit in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Wildly Grateful

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone do anything fun?  We had our brunch yesterday then gave my husband his Outside Pizza Oven.  It was a big hit.  He loved it.  We have so much pizza right now, I think we might be eating it all week.  He had a lot of fun cooking in it.  I think next time I might have to invite a lot of people over if he’s going to make this much, LOL.

For today I have a quick and easy card for you.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors are from The Color Throwdown Challenge #598.  Here are their colors.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #440.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with TGIF Technique Challenge #269.  Here is their theme.

I started by making my own designer series paper by randomly stamping 4 of the images from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You Cling Stamp Set  on a panel of Whisper White cardstock using Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo Inks.  Some images I stamped full strength ink and some were stamped off once to give the paper different shades of the colors.

I adhered my card front to a Coastal Cabana card base using Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the image out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  There wasn’t a die the size I needed, so I had to make my own size.  I did this by cutting the panel part way with the die.  I then turned the panel and moved the die to the size I wanted my rectangle, making sure the stitches were lined up.  I then cut the panel part way through again.

I adhered the sentiment to a Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Designer Series Paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the framed sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue just in the center section of the die cut.  I added a few Coastal Cabana Playing With Patterns Resin Dots to the card front and sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the 4 images from the Lovely You stamp set in Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo Ink randomly around the edges of a Whisper White panel.  Some were stamped full strength ink and some were stamped off once.  I didn’t put a sentiment on today’s card because I wanted to write my own thank you.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the 4 images from the Lovely You stamp set in full strength ink on the envelope front and stamped off once on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
