Stampin’ Up! Seaside Notions Thank You

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  It was a hot one here yesterday.  The sun was shining and the temperatures were high.  We hit the real feel of 105.

For today I have something a little different for you.  I have the same card one for Beginner Stampers and one for the Casual Stamper.  For those of you that know me, you know that one of my favorite things to do is walk the beach and collect shells.  I have a big curio cabinet full of them, all kinds all shape.  I don’t like just perfect shells, I like all the pieces that I can find too.  Here are the cards.

My colors are from Color Throwdown Challenge #602.  Here are their colors.

I played along with Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #126.  Their theme is ‘Sea Shells’

I also played along with Double “D” Challenges.  Here’s Their theme.

With both cards I started by stamping Whisper White card fronts starting with the sand image from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Notions Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off once, multiple times across the bottom of the panels.  Using the masking technique, I stamped the shell images from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the panels.  To do the masking technique I stamped the shell images on a Post-It note and fussy cut them using my Paper Snips.  I stamped the first shell, covered it with the post-it note and stamped the other shell over the top of the first.  I continued doing this until I got the image that I wanted.

I colored all the shells in using my Balmy Blue, Ivory, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Best Year Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink next to the shell images.  For the Beginner Stamper, I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For the Casual Stamper. I adhered the card front to a Brass Brushed Metallic mat (available Aug. 4th), using Stampin’ Seal and then to a Petal Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside of both I stamped the sentiment from the Best Year stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of Whisper White panels.  I stamped the sand image from the Seaside Notions stamp set across the bottom of the panels in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the larger shell from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panels and colored them in using my Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.

To finish my card I decorated Medium Whisper White Envelopes.  I only have the Casual Stamper card in the above photos since the envelopes were identical.  I stamped the sand image from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off once, across the bottom of the envelope front and envelope flap multiple times.  I stamped the shell images from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front and flap and colored them in using my Balmy Blue, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my 2 different, but the same, cards and will give it a try.  Everyone has to start somewhere and that is usually the beginning.  I have trouble doing simple stamping since it’s been so long, but most of my cards start off that way and they continue from there.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Seaside Notions Birthday for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month so that means Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. If you’ve hopped over from Karen Finkle’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “Celebrate Summer”.  We can interpret this however we want.  I chose to make a birthday care since I have a lot of summer birthdays.  Here’s my card.

I played along with Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #343.  Here is their Inspiration.  I’d like to be at any of these places right now.  I love spending time on the beach, it’s so peaceful and relaxing to me listening to the waves and seagulls.

I started by stamping the coral, seahorse and seashell images from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Notions Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the images in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered them each to a Crumb Cake mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of a Petal Pink card front and embossed the panel using my Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the matted panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the card front to a Calypso Coral card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few Elegant Faceted Gems.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Best Year Cling Stamp Set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Soft Suede Ink.  I stamped the coral image from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink and colored it in using my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the seahorse and coral images from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front and the seashell image on the envelope flap.  I colored the images in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for visiting by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Stampin’ Up! Seaside View for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Are you ready for the weekend?  I have to work all day Saturday, but Sunday I have off.  I was sure to tell my boss on Wednesday that I had plans on Father’s Day and he doesn’t believe it’s going to be all that busy that I would have to go in, YAY!!

I have a double Z-Fold card for you today using one of my favorite new sets from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card.

My colors were inspired by Sunday Stamps Color Challenge #233.  Here are their colors.

I also played along with Just Add Ink Challenge #510.  Here is their theme.

I started with the smaller Sahara Sand Z-Fold card by scoring it at 4 1/2″ & 7 1/2″.  I embossed the front fold using the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the larger image from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside View Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Just Jade and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I then stamped the waves in the water using the Stampin’ Up! By The Dock Cling Stamp Set in Pacific Point Ink.  I stamped the sand speckles from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Notions Cling Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I cut the image out using the 4th largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it to the front of the Sahara Sand card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the top corner of the artwork.  I added a few Calypso Coral Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.

I adhered a panel of the Whale of a Time 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Balmy Blue mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the back panel of the large Pacific Point card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the small card base to the larger card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back panel and Stampin’ Dimensionals on the front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Seaside View stamp set on 2 different panels of Whisper White cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the Adirondack chair image from the Seaside View stamp set on one panel and the palm tree and bird images from the Seaside View stamp set on the other panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the images in using my Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, Just Jade and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panels to Balmy Blue mats using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the chair and palm tree images from the Seaside View stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored the images in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake and Just Jade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Whale of a Time 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Seaside Notions for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week? Ready or not, which I’m assuming most of us are ready, the weekend is here.  Has anyone made any plans?  I’ll be at work this weekend, we’re having a bucket sale for the Children’s Miracle Network.  You make a donation by buying a bucket and almost everything you can fit in the bucket you get 20% off.   I’m sure it will be a busy weekend there.

For today’s card, I’ve seen this one done a few time using a circle.  I’ve decided to be a little different and use a square turned diamond.  Here’s my card.

My card was able to join in with a couple challenges.  First off is The Library Challenge

Next is the Stampin’ Up Only Challenge #228: New Catalog Favorites

I also played along with Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #232 “Anything Goes”

I started with a Pear Pizzazz card base and scored it at 4 1/4″ and 8 1/2″.    I adhered 2 panels of Petal Pink Subtle 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the card front.  I opened my card base and placed the 2″ square die from the Layering Squares Dies on the shorter end score line having the 2 corners on the score line and cut it out.

I stamped the Coral, Seahorse and Shells from the Stampin’ Up Seaside Notions Cling Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink on scrap pieces of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I colored everything in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Purple Posy, Seaside Spray, Smoky Slate and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I fussy cut all the pieces out using my Paper Snips.

I wrapped a piece of Flax Ribbon around the top portion of the card front and tied a knot.  I adhered all the Coral, Shells and Seahorse where I wanted them on the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a 2″ square out or Petal Pink cardstock using the Layering Squares Dies.  Using the layered square just smaller than the 2″ I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock out and stamped it with the sentiment from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I cut the scalloped square out using the Layering Squares Dies that is a hair larger that the Whisper White square out of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  I adhered the Whisper White square to the Pear Pizzazz scalloped square using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered it to the Petal Pink square using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I lined up the cut out square with the card base area that was cut out and adhered the square to the inside section of the card base using Glue Dots.  I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to the sentiment panel.

On the inside I stamped the sand and seahorse from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the sand along the bottom of the Whisper White panel stamping off once and the seahorse on the side of the panel.  I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Pear Pizzazz card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the front of the envelope with the sand and seahorse from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I adhered a panel of the Subtle 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Stampin’ Up Seaside Notions For Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and you know what that means, it’s time for another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some awesome projects. This month our theme is ‘CELEBRATE SUMMER’. We can interpret this any way we would like to.  I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with.  If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects. If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders , welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.

For today’s card I chose the Stampin’ Up Seaside Notions Cling Stamp Set to use.  Nothing says summer to me more than seashells and waves.  Here’s my card.

I played along with the Paper Craft Crew Challenge #342.  They had a Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I went right across the top.   Here’s their challenge.

I started by stamping the seahorse from the Seaside Notions stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of So Saffron Vellum from the Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I then fussy cut the seahorse using my Paper Snips.  I stamped the 3 different seashells from the Seaside Notions stamp set in VersaMark Ink on scraps of Petal Pink, Pool Party and Purple Posy cardstock.  I sprinkled them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set them using my Heat Tool.  I fussy cut all the shells out using my Paper Snips.  I cut the seaweed out from the Smooth Sailing Dies in Pear Pizzazz cardstock and Old Olive Vellum cardstock.  I cut the coral out in Petal Pink Vellum cardstock from the Under The Sea Dies.  I cut the sand dollar out of Whisper White cardstock using the Under The Seas Dies.  Last I cut the school of fish out from the Under The Sea Dies in Calypso Coral cardstock.

Using the 3rd largest Layering Circle Dies, I cut the circle out of the card front and the card base.  I embossed the card front using the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered all the elements to the card front using Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Fine Tip Glue Pen or Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Doing the collage part on the bottom was fun, but when it came to the school of fish on the top, I don’t know what I was thinking.  The Fine Tip Glue Pen really came in handy for them along with my craft tweezers. I added a few Clear Epoxy Droplets above the seahorse.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sand image from the Seaside Notions stamp set on the bottom of the Whisper White panel in Sahara Sand Ink stamping off once.  I took the negative piece where I cut the school of fish and used that as a stencil and sponged the fish on top of the sentiment in Calypso Coral Ink using a Sponge Dauber.  I added a couple more shells that I had embossed and fussy cut on the bottom of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the sand image from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink across the bottom front of the envelope and the bottom of the envelope flap.  I stamped the seahorse from the Seaside Notions stamp set on the side of the envelope front.  I stamped the shells from the Seaside Notions stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope and the envelope flap in Petal Pink, Pool Party and Purple Posy Inks.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card.  Now be sure to hit Previous to hop back to Amy Koenders blog or hit Next to head over to Jaimie Babarczy’s blog. You can also click on each of the names and hop around that way. Happy Hopping!!
