Stampin’ Up! Christmas Means More for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. Hope everyone had a productive week and have some fun plans for the weekend. I’ll be attending OnStage @ Home all day today and tomorrow. I can’t wait to be able to share some of the new items coming in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog with you.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watch the replay, thank you very much. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s the card that I made.

My design is from Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #482. Here is their sketch.

I also joined in with Festive Friday Challenge #0071. Here is their Inspo List. I went with Die Cut, Pattern Paper, Sentiment and Fun Fold

For the card front I adhered a panel of ‘Tis The Season 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Stampin’ Seal. On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Means More Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the bells in using my Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Shapes Dies.

I cut a panel of ‘Tis The Season DSP into a banner using my Triple Banner Punch and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the sentiment on top of the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut 4 of the pine boughs out using the Sounds Of The Season Dies from a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock. I adhered 3 of the pine boughs under the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut the medium bell from the Sounds of the Season Dies from a panel of Silver Foil paper. I took the holly and berries out of the bell and colored them in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers. I put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the bell and fit the holly and berries, like a puzzle, back into the spaces (they will stick to the Stampin’ Dimensionals). I adhered the pine bough through the little hanger using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered the bell just under the sentiment using the Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to the Shaded Spruce card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Directions below for the card base.

The card base takes a full sheet of Shaded Spruce cardstock. I first scored the cardstock in half at 4 1/4″. I turned the cardstock a 1/4 turn and scored again at 2 3/4″ & 8 1/4″. At the 2 3/4″ scored line, I cut from the top to the 4 1/8″ mark on my Stampin’ Trimmer. I turned the cardstock and lined the edge up with the 4 3/8″ mark and cut down to cut the panel off. I flipped the cardstock around and lined it up with the 8 1/4″ scored line and again cut down to the 4 1/8″ mark on my Stampin’ Trimmer. I turned the cardstock and lined the edge up with the 4 1/8″ mark and cut down to cut the panel off. On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cherish The Season Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the larger double bell image from the Cherish The Season stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink next to the sentiment and colored them in using my Gray Granite Stampn’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the gate fold part of the card I adhered 2 panels of ‘Tis The Season DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the double bell image from Cherish The Season stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored the image in using my Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of ‘Tis The Season DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch it on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Cherish The Season CAS

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week already and on our way to the weekend. Is anyone starting to make plans?

For today’s card I used Non-Traditional colors, I used pink. I participated in a challenge, Jingle Belles, their challenge is Pink Christmas… For The Cure. For each card linked-up 2 of the design team members will both be donating $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I figured I could make a Pink Christmas card for the cure this year for sure. I also made it very Clean and Simple. Here’s my card for today.

I played along with the Jingle Belles Challenge, ‘I’m Dreaming of a Pink Christmas’.

My design is from CAS(E) This Sketch #394. Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cherish The Season Cling Stamp Set in Magenta Madness Ink on a Whisper White card front.

I drew 2 lines from the sentiment to the left side of the panel using my Magenta Madness Stampin’ Write Marker.

I stamped the bough image from the Cherish The Season stamp set in Just Jade Ink on the top of the panel. I cut 3 of the smallest bells out of a panel of Rainbow Glimmer Paper using my Sounds of the Season Dies. I drew 3 lines from the boughs down to where I wanted the bells to hang using my Magenta Madness Stampin’ Write Marker. I made 3 tiny bows using the Gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack and adhered them to the bells using a tiny drop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the center bell using Glue Dots and the 2 end bells using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to a Rainbow Glimmer Paper mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to a Thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the top of the bell strings on the boughs.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Cherish The Season stamp set in Magenta Madness Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the bough image from the Cherish The Season stamp set in Just Jade Ink a few times on the top of the panel. I adhered a strip of Rainbow Glimmer Paper to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the large bell image from the Cherish The Season stamp set in Magenta Madness Ink on the envelope front.

I stamped the bough image from the Cherish The Season stamp set in Just Jade Ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Sounds of The Season

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s week started off?  Today is the first day in months that I am home alone.  My husband had to go into the office, my son is at work and my daughter is house sitting at my nieces.  It’s just me and my dog for the day.  I can have some peace and quiet.  I love being in the house alone in silence.  I am so looking forward to just doing my own thing today without being interrupted.

For today I played with a new set to me and made you a Christmas card.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors are from ‘Just Us Girls’ color challenge # 549.  As soon as I saw their colors I thought they would make a beautiful Christmas card. Here are their colors.

My design is from Mojo Monday Sketch #543.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of the returning Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Merry Merlot card front using Stampin’ Seal.  I cut a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid Photopolymer Stamp Set on the top of the rectangle panel in Merry Merlot Ink and adhered it to the card front between the 2 panels using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I embossed another panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using my Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it near the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut 3 bells out of a Gold Foil Sheet using the Sounds of the Season Dies.  I cut the boughs from the Sounds of the Season Dies out of a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock along with just the tops of the 2 bells with the holly leaves.  I cut the tops of the 2 bells with the holly leaves out of a panel of Merry Merlot cardstock also.  I wanted the holly from the Pretty Peacock panel and the berries from the Merry Merlot panel.  I inserted the holly and berries into the gold bells keeping them in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the bells.  I adhered the center bell pieces which I had cut from  the Merry Merlot and Pretty Peacock card stock, in the center of the bells using a tiny drop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies out of a panel of Shimmery White cardstock.  I attached a piece of the gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack, around the top of the bells.  I adhered the bells to the Shimmery White stitched circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the Pretty Peacock pine boughs to the top of the circle using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the gold trim to the back of the circle using Stampin’ Seal.  I tied a small bow using the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon and adhered it to the top of the circle using Glue Dots.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cherish The Season Cling Stamp Set to the center of a Very Vanilla panel using Merry Merlot Ink.  I stamped the pine boughs from the Cherish the Season stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the top of the panel.  I stamped the smallest bell from the Cherish the Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the boughs.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the pine boughs from the Cherish the Season stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the front of the envelope.  I stamped the smallest bell from Cherish the Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the boughs.  I adhered a panel of Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
