Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Birthday for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Are you ready for the weekend?  I was suppose to have off this Sunday, but my boss asked me if I could come in to relieve my cashiers for a lunch break.  Of course I said yes, but I told him to make it worth my while, I was going to go in the office to get a little work done.  Weekends have been beyond crazy busy in the store and we are still kind of in lock down here.  I can’t image what it’s going to be like when things open up again.

For today’s card I was playing around with some of the new items in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here’s what I came up with.

My design is from Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #232.  Here is their sketch.

I also joined in with Always Fun Challenge #165.  They have a theme challenge and it’s “Layers”.

I played along with Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #123.  Their challenge is ‘More Than One Score (Fold)’.

I also joined in with Just Add Ink Challenge #508.  Here is their challenge.

I started by adhering the 2 panels of Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper to the front of the card base using the new Stampin’ Seal.  I embossed the small panel of Soft Sea Foam cardstock using the Greenery Embossing Folder and adhered it to the front of the smaller card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the 2 similar fern images from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the images out using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock, which I cut using the 5th from the largest Layering Squares Dies, I stamped one of the larger fern images from the Forever Fern stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I stamped the splatter image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink around the Pear Pizzazz image multiple times.  From a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock I cut 2 of the eucalyptus images using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  I cut 1 of the leafy images from the Forever Flourishing Dies from a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.

I cut the 2nd & 3rd largest squares from the Stitched Shapes Dies from a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock.  I adhered the Whisper White square to the larger stitched square using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered one of the Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper fern pieces to the artwork using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I arranged and adhered all the other fern/leaf/eucalyptus pieces using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Glue Dots.  I stamped the splatter image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the small stitched square panel and adhered it to the small card front using Glue Dots.  I adhered the artwork above the small square, overlapping it, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I made a multiloop bow out of Linen Thread and tied it off using the Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.  I adhered the bow to the bottom corner of the artwork using a Glue Dot.  On a strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using the smallest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the small card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front.

I adhered the small card base to the left gate fold of the Pretty Peacock card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Friend Like You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the leafy image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Pretty Peacock card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the leafy image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on the bottom of the envelope front.  I stamped the splatter image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink around the leafy image.  I adhered a panel of Forever Greenery DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Sailing Home

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  We’re halfway through the week already.  I’m not sure where all these weeks are going, but they are just flying by.

For today’s card, I’m using one of last years sets which is one of my favorites and has carried over.  Here’s my card.

My colors were inspired from Inspire. Create. Color Challenge #070.  Here are their colors.  I love these colors together, but it did take a bit for me to figure out what to do.

I played along with The Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #493.  Here is their board.  I went diagonally from the bottom left to the top right, but also added embossed layers.

My sketch is from Try Stamping On Tuesday Challenge #459.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Rich Razzleberry card front using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I embossed a Coastal Cabana panel using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and gently tore the bottom edge.  I adhered the panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue only on the top and 2 sides.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the lighthouse image from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink on the side of the panel.  I masked the lighthouse by stamping the image on a Post-It note and cutting it out using my Paper Snips.  I placed the Post-It on top of the stamped lighthouse image and stamped the water image from the Stampin’ Up! High Tide Photopolymer Stamp Set in Coastal Cabana Ink, some full strength and some stamped off.

On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the small sailboat image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Rich Razzleberry Ink and cut it out using the Smooth Sailing Dies.  I colored just the boat part of the image in using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the bird image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the top of the panel then adhered the sailboat using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the artwork to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On another scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greetings Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the Smooth Sailing Dies and adhered it just under the torn layer using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the bottom of the panel, stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Rich Razzleberry mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the larger sailboat image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Rich Razzleberry Ink on the envelope flap twice and the smaller sailboat image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of the other 2.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Friendship

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s week started off?  Yesterday was such a beautiful spring day here, cool in the morning and 70 in the afternoon with very low humidity, but a lot of pollen.  Don’t forget, today is the last day to sign up for my 2020-2021 Annual Catalog Paper Shares and the last day to purchase retiring items from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog and the January – June Mini Catalog.

Today’s card is filled with new items for you from cardstock, to DSP to Stamp Set.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by adhering a panel of the Flowers For Every Season 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Magenta Madness card front using Snail.

I wrapped a piece of the Misty Moonlight/Silver Bakers Twine, from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Pack, around the card front 3 times and tacked it with Glue Dots on the back.  I adhered the card front to a Misty Moonlight card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink, stamping off once.  I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock using the scalloped circle that was just a bit larger that the stitched circle from the Layering Circle Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the scalloped circle mat using Snail and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a couple Magenta Madness 2020-2022 In-Color Enamel Dots to the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink stamping off once, in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped one of the fern images from the Forever Fern stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on either side of the sentiment, stamping off twice.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Magenta Madness mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the fern image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink, stamping off once then continuing to stamp without reinking, on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Flowers for Every Season DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Always… Field of Flowers

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Can you believe it’s June 1st already???  That means only 2 days and the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog goes live, YAY!!!  I can’t wait.  I’ve got my order all written down and ready to enter.

I have a super simple card for you today.  There is very little color to it compared to yesterday’s card that was full of color, this is a real switch.  I have to admit this was also very difficult for me not to use more that 1 color other that black and white. Here’s my card for today.

My design is from CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #374.  Here is their sketch.

My colors are from Color Throwdown Challenge #595.  Here are their colors.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Field of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set (available Wednesday)on a Whisper White panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the stem and flower image from the Field of Flowers stamp set to the left of the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I embossed the panel using the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pacific Point mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the matted panel to a Thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the dragonfly image from the Field of Flowers stamp set on either side of the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the stem and flower image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pacific Point mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stem and flower image from the Field of Flowers stamp set on the envelope front and flap in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the dragonfly image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope flap.

Good Sunday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s weekend going?  We’re having an absolutely gorgeous weekend here, though I’ve been inside at work.  The humidity has been lower and the sun is shining, what more can you ask for.

I’ve used another new stamp set coming in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, coming this Wednesday June 3rd, for my card today.  My card has a LOT of stamping going on.  I’ve also used a couple of the 2018-2020 retiring colors, so if you like these colors, you only have 2 days left to get them.  Here’s today’s card.

My colors were inspired by As You See It Color Challenge #226.  Here are their colors.

My design is from CAS Colours & Sketch Challenge #372.  Here is their sketch.

I started with a Shimmery Whisper card front and randomly stamped the images from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You Cling Stamp Set in Call Me Clover, Daffodil Delight and Lovely Lipstick Inks.  Some of the images are stamped full strength and some are stamped off to give different shades.

I embossed a panel of Call Me Clover cardstock using the new Greenery Embossing Folder.  I cut the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies out of Daffodil Delight cardstock and embossed it using the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder.  On a panel of Lovely Lipstick cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set in Soft Suede Ink.  I cut the panel out using the 2nd smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the Daffodil Delight circle and the Call Me Clover rectangle to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Lovely Lipstick oval to the card front overlapping the Call Me Clover and Daffodil Delight panels using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the card front to a Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and added a few Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the card front.

On the inside I randomly stamped the images from the Lovely You stamp set in Call Me Clover, Daffodil Delight and Lovely Lipstick Inks around the edges of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Cling Stamp Set in the center of the panel in Soft Suede Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Call Me Clover mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I randomly stamped the images from the Lovely You stamp set in Call Me Clover, Daffodil Delight and Lovely Lipstick on the bottom of the envelope front and the envelope flap.

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  Does anyone have plans for the weekend?  I’ll be at work all day today.

I have a masculine card for you today using a new bundle coming in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog starting this Wednesday June 3rd, YAY!!!  Here’s my card for today.

My design is from Global Design Project Challenge #242.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Cinnamon Cider card front using the new Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered 2 strips of the new World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper to the top and bottom of a Cinnamon Cider card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the embossed panel to the center of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added the Antique Corners & Slides Embellishments to the 4 corners of the panel using Glue Dots.

I cut a panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock using the World Map Dies.  I also cut a panel of the new Brass Foil Sheet using the detailed globe from the World Map Dies.  I adhered the detailed globe to the Misty Moonlight die cut panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then I adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front, across the globe, using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the ends only.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the ink pot image from the Beautiful World stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the panel, stamping off once.  I stamped the quill image from the Beautiful World stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off once, to the right of the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cinnamon Cider mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cinnamon Cider card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the globe image from the Beautiful World stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom front of the envelope.  I stamped the compass image from the Beautiful World stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off 2 times, next to the globe.  I adhered a panel of the World of Good Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You Graduation Cards for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s short week?  We’re upon a weekend again and things are starting to open up slowly here.  The Jersey shores opened last weekend and I believe hair salons are opening up next week.  Time will tell.  I have to work both days this weekend, Sunday is the last of the month.  Where did May go???  What is everyone else doing this weekend?

For those of you who know me you know that I was a Girl Scout leader for 13 years.  Last week a couple of my girls that I was very close with graduated from college.  One with a nursing degree and one with a teaching degree.  I watched them grow from Kindergarten on up.  Also my daughter’s best friend graduated with honors with a Bachelors degree in behavioral science and a minor in history.  She is like a 2nd daughter to me.  I am so proud of all these girls, so of course I had to make them all graduation cards.  Unfortunately, some of the items I used have been sold out since before I could get my cards posted.  Most of you know I don’t do any 2 cards alike, but since they are all for graduation they are all similar.  I also looked up each of the girls school colors and coordinated the cards accordingly, one was navy & white, one was blue & green and one was blue & red.  Here are my cards for today.

I started by adhering panels of Regals and Neutrals Designer Series Paper to the card bases, which are 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, using Snail.  The card bases are Garden Green, Night of Navy and Real Red.  I adhered the small cards to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The small cards are Garden Green, Night of Navy and Real Red.

On Whisper White panels I stamped the dancing woman image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the images in using my Dark Night of Navy (for the top one), Light Night of Navy, Dark Granny Apple Green, Dark Real Red and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the top artwork to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and the bottom 2 artwork to Blueberry Bushel mats using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to the front of the small cards using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  To make the caps, I cut 1 Night of Navy and 2 Blueberry Bushel pieces of card stock to  1/2″ X 1/2″ and adhered them to the womens heads using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  To make the tassels I took a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine and folded it in half and tied a knot.  I then frayed the ends to look like a tassel and adhered them to the caps using Glue Dots.  I trimmed them so they weren’t too long.  For the top one, I cut the sentiment from Well Written Dies out of a panel of Night of Navy cardstock and adhered it under the artwork using my Fine Tip Glue Pen.  I added a few Night of Navy Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the artwork.  For the bottom 2, I stamped the sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set and Beautiful You stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut one of the sentiments out using the Timeless Label Punch and the other out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the sentiments to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added some Granny Apple Green Glitter Enamel Dots to the Garden Green card and Red Rhinestones to the Real Red card.

On the inside of all the cards I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy or Blueberry Bushel Inks.  On the Night of Navy and Garden Green cards I stamped the sentiment from Peaceful Moments stamp set below the 1st sentiment in either Night of Navy or Blueberry Bushel Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panels to Night of Navy (for the top card) and Blueberry Bushel (for the bottom 2 cards) mats using Snail and then to the inside of the small cards using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my cards I decorated 3 Medium Whisper White Envelopes.  I stamped the dancing woman image from the Beautiful You stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on all 3 envelopes.  I colored the images in using my Dark Granny Apple Green, Ivory, Night of Navy and Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set on the envelope fronts in Garden Green, Night of Navy and Real Red Inks.

I adhered panel of Neutrals of Regals 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flaps.

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Thank You for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. How is everyone doing today?  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects today. This week we had a Color Challenge.  Here are the colors we had to work with.

Here’s what I came up with for these colors.

I started by adhering a panel of the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper to a So Saffron mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted DSP to an Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of So Saffron cardstock using the larges scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered a panel of Tropical Oasis DSP to the scalloped rectangle using Snail.  I adhered a piece of the Braided Burlap Trim to the card front using Glue Dots and adhered the matted DSP to the card front, on top of the Burlap Trim, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Cling Stamp Set in Mango Melody  Ink.  I cut the image out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Tropical Oasis Trinket to the sentiment die.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Mango Melody Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the pineapple image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set on the bottom of the panel.  To get the 2-tone color, I stamped just the bottom portion of the pineapple in my So Saffron Ink and colored the top leaves using my Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a So Saffron mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the pineapple image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set on the front of the envelope getting the 2-tone by stamping the bottom in my So Saffron Ink and coloring the top using my Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker.  I adhered a panel of Tropical Oasis DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Field Flowers

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  We’re already halfway through the week.  I just love these short weeks.

For today, I kind of have a triple time card, but not really if that makes sense.    I used some new items coming in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, some retiring colors and some items carrying over.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors were inspired by Fab Friday Color Challenge #190.  Here are their colors.

I started by embossing a Whisper White panel using the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the panel to a Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a panel of the gorgeous new In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock using Snail.  This DSP is just so pretty and looks so real.  Every time I pull it out I have to touch it because it looks almost 3D.  I adhered the matted DSP to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the stem image from the Stampin’ Up! Field of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set, (available June 3rd), in Call Me Clover Ink (retiring June 2nd).  I stamped the flower image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on top of the stems.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set in Call Me Clover Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the artwork to a Blushing Bride mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to the DSP panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the small butterfly from the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink twice.  I stamped the fill color image from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Pineapple Punch Ink on top of the outlined butterfly image.  I punched the butterflies out using the Butterfly Duet Punch, bent the wings forward and adhered them to the artwork using Glue Dots.  I added a few Melon Mambo Rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones pack to my artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Call Me Clover Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the stem image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Call Me Clover Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the flower image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on top of the stems.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Whisper White mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s Memorial Day?  I hope you all enjoyed your day.  It was a beautiful day here. We had a small picnic and enjoyed sitting around just talking and being with people.  My husband was busy with my nieces boys playing bean bag toss and laser tag.  Now it’s back to ‘normal’.  Today is my daughters actual birthday, so I’m hoping to do something with her even if it’s just watching a movie or going for a nice walk.

For today I thought I’d make a tropical card for you using some retiring items and items that are carrying over.  I did use multiple stamp sets for my card. Here’s my card for today.

My design is from CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #373.  Here is their sketch.

I joined in with Seize The Birthday Totally Tropical Challenge #191.

I started by adhering a panel of Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper to a Pear Pizzazz card base using Snail. 

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the shoreline image from the Stampin’ Up! By The Dock Cling Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the palm tree image from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Cling Stamp Set, which I colored using my Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers, on the shoreline.  I stamped the bird image from the By The Dock stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink above the palm trees 3 times.  I stamped the water image from the Stampin’ Up! High Tide Photopolymer Stamp Set first in Coastal Cabana then in Pacific Point Inks below the shoreline.  I stamped the small grass image from the High Tide stamp set in Garden Green Ink around the base of the palm trees.  I adhered the artwork to a Pear Pizzazz mat using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a piece of the Braided Burlap Trim across the artwork using Glue Dots.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the By The Dock stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink and cut the image out using the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front, over the Burlap Trim, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Ukulele Tropical Oasis Trinket to the card front using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink in top center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the shoreline image from By The Dock stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the palm tree image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set, which I colored using my Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers, on the shoreline.  I stamped the bird image from the By The Dock stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink above the palm tree.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pear Pizzazz mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Pear Pizzazz card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the shoreline image from the By The Dock stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the palm tree image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set, which I colored using my Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers, on the shoreline.  I stamped the small grass image from the High Tide stamp set in Garden Green Ink around the base of the palm trees.  I adhered a panel of Tropical Oasis DSP to the envelope flap.
