Stampin’ Up! Winds of Change

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started out?  We’re back to rain here.

For today’s card I used a set from the Annual Catalog.  Take a look.

My colors were inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #333.  Here are their colors.

My design was from Paper Craft Crew #371.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the large windmill image from the Stampin’ Up! Winds Of Change Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the image out using my Layering Circle Dies.  I cut a scalloped mat from a panel of Lovely Lipstick cardstock using the Layering Circle Dies.  I adhered the artwork to the scalloped mat using Multipurpose Liquid glue.

I stamped the windmill image from Winds of Change stamp set again on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock in Soft Suede Ink.  I cut a small circle out of the image using the Layering Circle Dies.  I colored the small circle image in using my Lovely Lipstick and Mint macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the small circle to the artwork using a Stampin’ Dimensional lining the images up.  On a Thick Whisper White card base I stamped the splatter image from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape, Lovely Lipstick and Mint Macaron all around the front of the card base.

I adhered the artwork to the center of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Winds of Change stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a Lovely Lipstick mat using Snail.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Winds of Change stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tulip image from the Winds of Change stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Lovely Lipstick mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the tulip image from the Winds of Change stamp set on either side of the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Lovely Lipstick and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the envelope flap with the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Gorgeous Grape, Lovely Lipstick and Mint Macaron Inks.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Day Pressed Petals CAS

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone’s week going?  This Friday is Valentine’s Day, is anyone doing anything fun?  It’ll be a stay at home night for me.  Maybe make a nice dinner, but I definitely will not be going out to dinner.  I did make cute little valentines for all my cashiers and co-workers.  I love giving them little treats every now and then just to let them know how much I appreciate them.

I made a really quick and easy card for you today.  I used one of my favorite 2018-2020 In-Colors, Blueberry Bushel.  This is one of my favorite shades of blue, it’s such a rich color.  The 2018-2020 In-Colors will be retiring at the beginning of June.  If there is one or all the colors that you like, don’t wait to get them.  The paper and ink are the first things to sell out.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by cutting a band for the card front in Blueberry Bushel cardstock using the Detailed Bands Dies.  I adhered it to a Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper card front using Glue Dots.  I folded the ends of the band around the back of the DSP and adhered them with Glue Dots.  I just love when the Designer Series Paper does most of the work for you.  This paper is so gorgeous and realistic looking.

I adhered the card front to a Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a scrap of Shimmer White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Cling Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel Ink.

I cut the sentiment out using the oval die from the Detailed Bands Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the center of the band on the card front using Snail.

On the inside I stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the top left of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the cascading leaves image from the Very Versailles stamp set on top of the script image in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the cascading leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on top of the script.  I adhered a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Poppy Moments

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is your week starting off?  Tonight is my Stamp Camp Class so I have another pretty easy card since I’m not sure what kind of stampers the new ladies are.  Here’s my card.

I started by using the splatter image from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set and stamped the Pool Party card front using Pool Party Ink.  I stamped the 2 poppy images and the leaf image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my Painted Labels Dies.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies making sure that the sentiment was near the top of the circle.  I cut the swirly circle  out of Sahara Sand cardstock using the Painted Labels Dies.

I adhered the sentiment to the center of the swirly circle using Snail.  I adhered the flowers and leaves to the bottom of the sentiment using Glue Dots.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and I adhered the card front to the Sahara Sand card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Love What You Do Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the poppy  and leaf image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I colored the image in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Pool Party Ink all around the edges of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Pool Party Ink all around the front of the envelope.  I stamped the poppy and leaf images from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope flap.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Pinwheel for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How is everyone doing today?  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects today. This week we had a Color Challenge, here are the colors we got to work with.

Here is my card using these beautiful colors.  I just love Petal Pink and Pool Party together.

I thought I would pull out some scraps of DSP from the Annual Catalog.  I’ve been wanting to try this card and it’s a perfect way to use up some of your scraps.  I started by embossing a Petal Pink card front using the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder.  I adhered the  embossed panel to a Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I took 2 Whisper White panels and adhered them to 2 Pool Party mats using Snail.  Using my Grid Paper for a guide, I adhered one on top of the other so that all sides and points were equal, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue so I had a little wiggle room.

I started at the top and only putting Snail on one side of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper square, I adhered it to the Whisper White panel making sure there was an equal edge around the top.  I continued around the squares adhering every other design of DSP overlapping the left corner of the square on the previous piece and making sure there was an equal edge around the tops.  Each square I put Snail on 2 of the sides.  When I got to the last piece I adhered the left side on the previous piece and tucked the right side under the 1st piece I put down (that is why you only put Snail on one side of the 1st piece).  I then added a little Snail to the 1st piece on the edge overlapping.  I hope this makes sense.  I adhered my pinwheel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a small bow using the Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon and adhered it to the center of the pinwheel using a Glue Dot.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set in Pool Party Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the smallest Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I cut a piece of Pool Party cardstock using the next size Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the Pool Party mat using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Petal Pink Frosted Flower Embellishment to the side of the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Friend Like You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pool Party Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the large and small flowers from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the sides of the sentiment.  I colored the flowers in using my Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped a cluster of flowers from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the flowers in using my Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Bird Ballad DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  As always, if you have any questions or can’t understand my directions, drop me a message and I will try to explain it better.  Now that you’ve seen my card you can hit the next button to hop over to Amy Koenders blog or you can just click on the names below. Stampin’ Up Blue Wild Rose for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is upon us, have you made any plans yet?  Today we’re off to Epcot after a quick stop at Hollywood Studios again. The new Star Wars – Rise of the Resistance ride broke right when we got on yesterday (after waiting 9 hours for our que and over an hour on line).  We were rushed on to a ship, flown into space and taken by the Storm Troopers and it broke 😦   They gave us a ticket to go back to Hollywood Studios today and Fast Pass to go back on that ride.  I thought it was going to be a laid back day walking around Epcot, but plans have changed.  I’m sure I’ll be getting another 10 miles+ of walking in again.  My son wants to bring my daughter drinking around the world at Epcot,  guess I’m going to be the designated one to get everyone back to the hotel safely.  My daughter turned 21 last May and does not drink, this should be interesting.  I know we have Mission Space and Test Track on the agenda at Epcot for today.  My husband hasn’t mentioned Soaring yet.  That one got me a little nauseous last time we were here.  We’ll see what happens, just give me the Dramamine.

I have another new to me Overlay Fun Fold for you today using the beautiful Stampin’ Up To A Wild Rose Bundle.  I saw this card done by Lisa Curcio and thought I would CASE it. Here’s my card.

I started by scoring and folding a Seaside Spray card base.  The card base is 5 1/4″ X 5 1/2″  You need to score it so that you have a 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ card base.  I embossed a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the 4″ X 4″ Seaside Spray panel under the fold of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, lining up the bottom edges.  I adhered the embossed Crumb Cake panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a 5″ X 4 1/2″ panel of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the outlined rose image once and the outlined leaf image3 times from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the rose image in using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the leaf images in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my Wild Rose Dies.

I adhered the rose to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the leaves under the rose using Glue Dots.  I wrapped a piece of Seaside Spray 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon around the top of the card front and tied a square knot.  I’m not sure if I am going to use this card for Birthday, Mother’s Day, or any other occasion, so I didn’t put a sentiment on the front panel yet.  Once I decide I will stamp and punch a sentiment and adhere it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the outlined rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink, stamping off once, to the center of a Shimmery White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the rose image.  I adhered the Shimmery White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the outlined rose image from the To A Wild Rose stamp set on the envelope front.  I stamped the fill image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the outlined image in Seaside Spray Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the detail fill image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink over the other image.  I adhered a panel of the Seaside Spray 2019-2021 In-Color Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my fun fold card and will give it a try.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  we’ll be spending it at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios again.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  By the time you read this we will be at Hollywood Studios, first stop is Star Tours.  My husband got the fast pass for that at 8:15am, I’m not sure how I’m going to be on that one first thing in the morning.  We’ll be ending our day watching Fantasmic, one of my favorite shows.  Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Color Challenge.  Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects.  Here are the colors for this week.

Here is my card using these colors.

I started by stamping the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set 3 times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I masked the large flowers and stamped the medium flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and the small stemmed flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  To mask the large flowers, I stamped the image on a Post-It note and fussy cut them out.  I covered the stamped image with the Post-It and stamped the other images over it.

I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I then stamped the splotch image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the Flirty Flamingo flowers and Real Red Ink on the Real Red flowers. Since the Painted Poppies stamp set doesn’t come with any sentiments I had to pick one from another stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to the right of the flowers.

I took a thin strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and stamped the splotch image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink all down the strip.  I adhered the strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock to the right side of the Whisper White panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Snail.  I adhered the card front to a Flirty Flamingo card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the large flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set on the top and bottom corner of a Whisper White panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I masked the flower and stamped the medium flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set on either side of the large flower in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the splotch image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the Flirty Flamingo flowers and Real Red Ink in the Real Red flowers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Accented Blooms Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Flirty Flamingo card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large flower image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I masked the flower and stamped the medium flower image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on either side of the flower.  I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Hello

Good Wednesday morning from Disney World my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s week going?  We made it here safely and we’re out and running already.  Yesterday we had a pretty laid back day, only a little over 14,000 steps and 6 1/2 miles walked.  We’re heading over to Magic Kingdom today, so I’m sure there will be more miles covered.  My 24 year old son is so excited to go on the Buzz Light Year Space Ranger Spin (so he can beat all of us), Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.  There’s something about Disney that brings the child back out of you.

I have an adorable card for you today, at least I think it is.  I used the new Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Bundle from page 30 of the new 2020 January-June Mini Catalog with the coordinating Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  I actually CASEd the card from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Snail.  Using the Detailed Bee Dies I cut the honeycomb out of a Gold Foil Sheet.  I adhered some of the honey pieces to the card front using Glue Dots.

On a small strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped 3 large bees from the Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the bees out using the Detailed Bee Dies.  I colored the stripes on the bees in using my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I went over the wings of the bees using my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  I adhered the honeycomb to a Very Vanilla panel, which I embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the top and bottom bee to the panel using Glue Dots and the bee on the honeycomb using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a very thin strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered the sentiment to the very vanilla panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the honey pieces to the end of the strip using a Glue Dot.

I adhered a piece of 3/8″ Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon to the card front using Snail.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the bee hive from the Honey Bee stamp set in So Saffron Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the smaller bee image from the Honey Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink next to the hive.  I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set above the hive in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the stripes on the bee in using my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the bees wings.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the large bee image from the Honey Bee stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the stripes on the bees in using my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker and the wings on the bee using my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  I adhered a panel of Golden Honey Specialty DSP to the envelope flap

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Peaceful Painted Poppies

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  By the time you read this I will probably have landed in Orlando, Florida starting my vacation in Disney World.  My husband so nicely booked us on a 5am flight so that we would get a full day in our first day here.  I’m sure we will all be exhausted by tonight since we had to leave our house at 2am, so we didn’t even bother going to sleep last night.  Since I am away, I may not respond as quickly as normal to you, but I will be signing in before we leave for the parks in the morning and when we get back in the afternoon/evening.

For today’s card I have a very quick and easy card for you letting the Designer Series Paper do all the work for me.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the new Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail.

I wrapped a piece of the 3/8″ Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon around the panel and tied a bow having the Old Olive side out.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug Cling Host Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies.  I tied a small piece of the Blackberry Bliss Natures Twine through the cut out sentiment and tied it around the Old Olive bow.

I added an Old Olive Noble Peacock Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the sentiment.  I adhered the card front to an Old Olive card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Photopolymer Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the poppy image from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink 3 times on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the poppy image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the front of the envelope.  I adhered a panel of the Peaceful Poppies DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug Thinking of You Sneak Peek

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE!!  Does anyone have any fun plans for this evening?  What does everyone do?  Go out or stay in?  I’m a stay in person.  I grew up having New Year’s Eve parties at our house and inviting family and friends over.  Tonight will be the 1st time, since I’ve gotten married 31 years ago, that we are having people over.  My husband never did anything on New Years, so he never wanted to after we were married.  Now I just have to make sure I can stay awake, that’s always a challenge for me lately.

For my last card of 2019 I made you a Clean and Simple one.  I used one of my favorite sets from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog, which by the way starts in just 3 short days.  I love stamping large images that I can color with my Stampin’ Blends Markers.   Here’s my last card of the year for you.

My colors were inspired by Global Design Project Challenge #221.   Here are their colors.

I played along with Inspire. Create. Challenge # 059 for my design with today’s card.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Cherry Cobbler card front using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  I took my Stamping Sponge and lightly sponged over the card front using Early Espresso Ink to give it a little shading.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Little Lady Bug Host Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on a small panel of Whisper White Cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Early Espresso Ink below the flower.

I adhered the artwork to the embossed card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, letting it hang off the left side just a smidge and cut it even with the card front.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few of the Shaded Spruce Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork and card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the large flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off 5 times to get a real light image, on both sides of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid glue.  I added a couple more Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels on either side of the sentiment to give a little extra bling.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set once on the front of the envelope and twice on the envelope flap in Early Espresso Ink.  I colored the flowers in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping and have a Happy, Happy New Year!!!!  Stay safe tonight with whatever plans you have and I will see you in 2020!!

Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Ballad

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  I had my family over again for an after Christmas dinner.  It was much more relaxed and unplanned.   Well, 2019 is coming to an end tomorrow and I don’t know about you, but I sure am happy this year is ending.  This has not been the best year for me other than meeting up with my team members at OnStage twice, so I’m ready for 2020.  Is anyone  a  New Year’s resolution person of do you just go with the flow?  I’m coming up with some new ideas for the new year, but I stopped making resolutions since they never happen and I would just get angry with myself.  My moto is what will be, will be and I go with the flow.

For today’s card I used some items from the Annual Catalog.  Sometimes we get so caught up in the new catalogs starting that we forget about our Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to a Calypso Coral card front using Snail.  I stamped the large bird image from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the image out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I cut a mat out using the larger Stitched Nested Labels Dies from a panel of Calypso Coral cardstock  I adhered the artwork to the mat using Snail.

I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Calypso Coral card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I chose not to put a sentiment on the front of my card today.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from Free As A Bird stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the small and medium flower image and the leaf image from the Free As A Bird stamp set multiple times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the corners of the Whisper White panel.  I colored the flowers and leaves in using my Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Calypso Coral mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large bird image from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the image in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Bird Ballad DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
