Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s week going? This Friday is Valentine’s Day, is anyone doing anything fun? It’ll be a stay at home night for me. Maybe make a nice dinner, but I definitely will not be going out to dinner. I did make cute little valentines for all my cashiers and co-workers. I love giving them little treats every now and then just to let them know how much I appreciate them.
I made a really quick and easy card for you today. I used one of my favorite 2018-2020 In-Colors, Blueberry Bushel. This is one of my favorite shades of blue, it’s such a rich color. The 2018-2020 In-Colors will be retiring at the beginning of June. If there is one or all the colors that you like, don’t wait to get them. The paper and ink are the first things to sell out. Here’s my card for today.
I started by cutting a band for the card front in Blueberry Bushel cardstock using the Detailed Bands Dies. I adhered it to a Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper card front using Glue Dots. I folded the ends of the band around the back of the DSP and adhered them with Glue Dots. I just love when the Designer Series Paper does most of the work for you. This paper is so gorgeous and realistic looking.
I adhered the card front to a Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a scrap of Shimmer White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Cling Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel Ink.
I cut the sentiment out using the oval die from the Detailed Bands Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the center of the band on the card front using Snail.
On the inside I stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the top left of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the cascading leaves image from the Very Versailles stamp set on top of the script image in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink in the center of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the cascading leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on top of the script. I adhered a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
