Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Color Challenge and the colors screamed rustic to me.  Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here’s my card using our colors.

Here are our colors for this week.

My design was inspired by the Paper Craft Cres Challenge #358.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on the top of the Crumb Cake card front.  I embossed the  Crumb Cake card front using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped a small panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock using the Stampin’ Up Buffalo Check Cling Background Stamp in Early Espresso Ink.  I cut the panel out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I stamped the cabin image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a small Crumb Cake panel.  I cut the image out using a smaller Stitched Rectangle Die.  I adhered the artwork to the Buffalo Check stamped Cherry Cobbler panel using Snail.  I stamped the bear image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock and fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the bear to the corner of the artwork using a Glue Dot.

I adhered a strip of Early Espresso cardstock to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a piece of the 3/8″ Magnolia Lane Linen Ribbon with White Edge on the Early Espresso strip using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals, making sure to add a couple Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals under the bear to secure it.

On the inside I stamped the cabin image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel stamping off 3 times.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink over the cabin image.  I stamped the bear and deer image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the panel stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the tree image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink along the bottom front of the envelope.  I stamped the cabin and bear image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Merriest Wishes Penguin

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week already and only 2 more days and I leave for OnStage.  I’m so looking forward to meeting up with my team members for some stamping time and socializing.  I can’t wait to get my hands on the new Occasions Catalog and be able to share some new things with you.

Today’s card is one that we made at our last Stamp Camp last week.  I wanted to have a variety of cards for the ladies to make.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series paper to a Real Red Mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted panel to a Real Red card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped one of the penguin images from the Stampin’ Up!  Playful Penguins Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the image out using the oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered it to a Real Red Glimmer Paper scalloped mat which I cut out using  the Layering Ovals Dies using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the bow tie image from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Real Red Ink.  I fussy cut the bow tie using my Paper Snips and adhered it to the penguin using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Real Red Ink on a strip of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the strip into a banner using the Banner Triple Punch.  I adhered a strip of Shaded Spruce cardstock below the matted artwork using Snail and adhered the sentiment banner on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Red Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the right of the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Real Red Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.   I stamped the penguin image from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Real Red card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the penguin image from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a piece of Let It Snow Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and you know what that means, Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects. If you’ve hopped over from Mary Deatherage’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays”. We can interpret this any way that we’d like.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up So Many Stars Bundle.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a Whisper White card front to my Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a star out of the center of both pieces of cardstock using the Stitched Stars Dies.

On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merry Merlot Ink.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a Merry Merlot  mat using Snail.

I adhered the matted sentiment to the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the inside on a piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped a large star image and a small star image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink.  I cut both stars out using the Stitched Stars Dies.  I also cut out a medium and small star from Champagne Foil Sheet using the Stitched Stars Dies.  I adhered the medium foil star to the large Whisper White star using a Glue Dot, not lining up the points.  I adhered the small foil and Whisper White stars together using a Glue Dot, not lining up the points.  I adhered the small stars to the medium stars using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink.  I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of a Merry Merlot panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the stars to the center of the Merry Merlot panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large and small star images from the So Many Stars stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink on the envelope front and envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Birds of A Feather

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  I’d like to take a moment to honor and thank all our Veterans.  I for one had 2 in my family.  My dad was in World War II serving in the Army and my brother was in Vietnam serving in the Navy.  My brother got out on medical discharge, but he still served shortly.  So Thank You to all those who have served for us.   How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone do anything fun and exciting?  After a fun cold time at the zoo on Friday, I had to work both Saturday and Sunday.  It was a bit colder than I expected this weekend.  I’m not quite ready for temps in the 40’s yet.  Fall is in full bloom here.  The leaves have changed and fallen from the trees (except for my tree in the front yard which always forgets that it’s fall).  My husband got to rake the leaves all day Saturday and of course my fur baby helped.  She supervised making sure he was doing it right.

For today I have a fun card for you using the Stampin’ Up! Birds of a Feather Cling Stamp Set.  I almost forgot that this set has a Christmas bird.  Here’s my card.

My colors were inspired by the CAS Colour & Sketch Challenge #346.  I was determined to make these colors work for a Christmas card.  Here are their colors.

My design came from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #410.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Poppy Parade card front using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I wrapped a piece of the Silver 3/8″ Metallic Edge Ribbon around the card front and tied a bow.  I adhered the card front to a Poppy Parade card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the Christmas bird from the Birds of a Feather stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I cut the image out using the 3rd largest Layering Square Die.  I colored the image in using my Mango Melody and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I used some of the new Snowfall Accents Puff Paint on the fur part of the hat and the pompom.  I adhered the artwork to a Highland Heather scallop square cut from the 4th largest Layering Squares Dies.  I adhered the artwork to the scallop square using Snail and added a Star Designer Elements to the artwork.

I stamped the sentiment from the Birds of a Feather stamp set in Mango Melody Ink on the Whisper White panel.  I cut the sentiment out using the 4th largest Layering Squares Die.  I adhered the sentiment to a Highland Heather scallop square cut from the 5th largest Layering Squares Dies using Snail.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork on top of the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Birds of a Feather stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the Christmas bird image from the Birds of a Feather stamp set popping out on either side of the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored them in using my Mango Melody and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Highland Heather mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the bird image from the Birds of a Feather stamp set on the envelope front and colored it in the same as I did for the card.  I stamped the star image from the Birds of a Feather stamp set in Mango Melody Ink along the edges of the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week was a fun Sketch Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects.  Here’s what I came up with for the sketch.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Silver Foil Sheet card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Night of Navy cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a Silver Foil Sheet banner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the scroll stars using the Stitched Stars Dies out of Silver Glimmer Paper.  I snipped the scroll in half so that I could arrange it with the banner so that some was on top and some on the bottom.

I adhered the scroll to the card front using Glue Dots where the banner would cover.  I adhered the sentiment banner over the scroll using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the stars from the scroll, scattered around on the card front, using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped the cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Basic Gray Ink around the sentiment, stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the star cluster image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Basic Gray Ink along the bottom of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today.  If you click on the Next Blog button, you’ll go right to Amy’s page. Stampin’ Up! Happy Christmas Quick and Easy Card

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How are you all doing today?  We’re halfway through the week already and a week  into November.  I may have to start doubling up on my Christmas card making if I want to have them done on time to sent out this year.

For today I have a super quick and easy card for you.  I thought I’d do a few quick cards to get a little ahead of myself.  Here’s my card.

I let the beautiful Night Before Christmas 6X6 Designer Series Paper do most of the work for me today.  I started by adhering a panel of the Night Before Christmas DSP to an Early Espresso card front using Snail.  I adhered the card front to a Poppy Parade card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I really liked this paper and I knew just the sentiment I wanted to put with it.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas Host Cling Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using the Frosted Frames Dies.

I adhered the sentiment to the right top of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a bow using the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon and adhered it to the bottom of the sentiment using a Glue Dot.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment panel.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla Panel.  I adhered the panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I adhered a panel of the Night Before Christmas DSP to a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Cup Of Cheer

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started off?  We’re starting to have very chilly nights here and cool days.  Perfect fall weather.  I love when I have extra time to craft this time of year, unfortunately I always seem to have to work extra hours.

I have a non-traditional color Christmas card for you today.  Take a look.

My colors were inspired by Inspire. Create Challenge #055.  Here are their colors.

My design came from Mojo Monday Sketch #526.  Here is their sketch

I started by embossing a Night of Navy card front using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a Lovely Lipstick panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered 2 banners to the top of the Lovely Lipstick panel.  One in the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper using Snail.  The other banner is Blushing Bride I stamped with the poinsettia image from the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set in Blushing Bride Ink, which I adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I cut the sentiment out using my Layering Circles Dies.

Using the Cup of Cheer Dies I cut the cup out of Blushing Bride cardstock.  I cut the inner portion of the cup out of Lovely Lipstick cardstock using the Cup of Cheers Dies.  I cut the candy cane out of Whisper White and Lovely Lipstick cardstock usng the Cup of Cheer Dies.  I adhered the inner cup piece to the cup using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Lovely Lipstick candy cane to the top of the Whisper White candy cane using tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the candy cane to the back of the cup using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the cup to the sentiment circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added 3 Old Olive Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the center of the poinsettia on the cup.

On the inside I stamped the cup image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in the center of the cup in Night of Navy Ink  I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Old Olive mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the cup image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on the envelope front  I stamped a sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of the cup.  I stamped the poinsettia image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Glimmer Free Skate

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Hope you all were able to do something fun and exciting.

For today’s card I used a new set to me from the 2019 Holiday Catalog.  I couldn’t decide if I wanted it or not.  I love the set, but I had to be sure I would use it enough.  I’m really happy I decided to get it.  Here’s my card.

My sketch and colors were inspired by Colours & Sketches Challenge #345 – Double.  I didn’t have their exact colors, but they said we could use similar.  Here is their challenge.

I started by embossing a panel of Seaside Spray cardstock using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I cut the skates out using the Detailed Skates Dies and cutting Rococo Rose cardstock for the solid skate and Rose Glimmer Paper for the detailed skate.  I cut the skate blades out of a Silver Foil Sheet.

I first cut the blade off the solid skate using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the detail skate to the solid skate using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the blade to the bottom of the detailed skate using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the skates to the Seaside Spray panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Free Skate Cling Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I made a banner of the sentiment and adhered it below the skates using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a small bow made from the 1/4″ Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon using a Glue Dot.

I stamped the front of the Thick Whisper White card base using the snowflake image from the Free Skate stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink.  I adhered the card front to the front of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Pretty Peacocok Rhinestone from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Free Skate stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Free Skate stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink all around the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the skate image from the Free Skate stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Free Skate stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Halloween my fellow stampers!  It’s time for our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  This week we have a color challenge.  I can’t wait to see what everyone created with these colors.  Here is what I came up with.

Here are our colors for this week.

My card played along with the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge #175.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the snowman image from the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set.  I stamped the main part of the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, the tree and pompom on his hat I colored with my Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Write Marker and the tree trunk I colored with my Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker.  I colored the snowman’s nose, hat and scarf in using my Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the stitched circle to a scalloped circle cut from my Layering Circles Dies in Real Red Glimmer Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Shaded Spruce cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Season stamp set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Glue Dot.  I adhered a strip of Real Red Glimmer Paper under the sentiment using Snail.  I added a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Season stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Snowman Season stamp set on either side of the sentiment in Coastal Cabana Ink and once over the sentiment in Coastal Cabana Ink stamping off once.  I added 2 thin strips of the Let It Snow Specialty DSP to either side of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the snowman image from the Snowman Season stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored it in the same as I did for the artwork.  I adhered a panel of the Let It Snow Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Playful Pengiun Frost

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far.  We’re half way through already, which means the weekend is right around the corner.  In just a little over 2 weeks I will be leaving for OnStage in Hartford.  I’m so looking forward to meeting up with some of my team members and seeing the next Occasions Catalog.

Today’s card was inspired by my Upline’s weekly challenge she had for us.  I did both the color and sketch on the same card.  Here’s my card.

Here are her colors and sketch she gave to us to work from.

I used a technique I haven’t done in a while.  I used my Sponge Brayer on the Feels Like Frost Specialty 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to change the background to Mossy Meadow.  Once I had it the shade I liked, I adhered it to a Mossy Meadow card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the penguin image from the Stampin’ Up! Playful Penguins Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I stamped the scarf and hat image from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Real Red Ink on the Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the penguin image out using the oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies and I fussy cut the scarf and hat using my Paper Snips.  I adhered a piece of Silver 3/8″ Metallic Edged Ribbon on the card front using Snail and adhered the artwork over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a couple of the boughs out using the Beautiful Boughs Dies from scraps of Mossy Meadow cardstock.  I cut the swirls out using the Christmas Cardinal Dies from a scrap of Real Red Glimmer Paper.  I adhered the boughs under the artwork using Glue Dots.  I adhered the swirls over the boughs using a tiny dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels which I had colored using my Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker.

On the inside I stamped the penguin image from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the side of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiments from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the penguin image from the Playful Penguins stamp set on the envelope front and the envelope flap in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
