Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Birthday For The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. How is everyone doing today? If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects today. This week we had a Color Challenge, here are the colors we got to work with.

Here’s what I came up with for these colors.

I played along with Crazy 4 Challenges #522.  Here is their sketch.

I also joined in with The Flower Challenge #41.

I started by embossing a Petal Pink card front using the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.

I adhered a strip of Whisper White cardstock along the left side of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a piece of the 1/8″ Mint Macaron Sheer Linen Ribbon around the Whisper White panel and the card front and secured it in the back with Glue Dots.  I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut 3 squares from a Whisper White panel using the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped 3 of the flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Lovely Lipstick panel.  I cut the images out using my In The Tropics Dies.  I cut 6 leaves out of a small piece of Mint Macaron cardstock using my In The Tropics Dies.  I adhered the flowers to the squares using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I adhered the leaves under the flowers using a Glue Dot.  I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the Whisper White panel and cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the bottom right of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flower image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set 3 times in Lovely Lipstick Ink.  I cut the images out using my In The Tropics Dies.  I cut 3 more leave out of the panel of Mint Macaron cardstock using my In The Tropics Dies.  I adhered the flowers to the bottom left  of the inside panel using Glue Dots.  I adhered the leaves under the flowers using a tiny dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Petal Pink mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set 3 times on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, hop around to see everyone else’s projects. You can hit the next button to hop over to Amy Koenders blog or you can just click on the names below. Happy Hopping!!

Stampin’ Up! A Good Man

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  Hope you are all moving right along through your week.

I’ve got a masculine card for you today that is very quick to make.  Here’s my card.

I played along with Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #224.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of the Country Club Designer Series Paper to a Night of Navy card base using Snail.

I cut 2 mats out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies in Garden Green cardstock and Night of Navy cardstock.  I adhered the Night of Navy to the Garden Green mat using Snail and then adhered them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up! A Good Man Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from A Good Man stamp set in Night of Navy Ink above the stamped image on an angle.  Using my Delightful Tag Topper I punched the top of the panel.  I colored the image in using my Ivory, Mint Macaron and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I took a small piece of Garden Green and a small piece of Night of Navy twine from the Country Club Twine Combo Pack and threaded it through the top of the tag.  I separated the twine to give it a frayed look.  I adhered the tag to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the image from A Good Man stamp set in Tuxedo Black memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel, stamping off 4 times.  I stamped the sentiments from A Good Man stamp set in Night of Navy Ink over the stamped image.  I adhered 2 strips of the Country Club DSP to either side if the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Garden Green mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the image from A Good Man stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the image in using my Ivory, Mint Macaron and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Country Club DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Over The Moon

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s week started off?

For today’s card I pulled out a stamp set from the Annual Catalog and used some new items too.  With all the new items from the new Mini Catalog, we sometimes forget about the awesome stamps that are in the Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card.

My card played along with the Just Add Ink Challenge #492.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with Always Fun Challenge #150.  Theirs is a Theme challenge.  Their Theme is ‘Animals’

I started by adhering a panel of Highland Heather Subtle 6X6 Designer Series Paper to the Thick Whisper White card base using Snail.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the cow image from the Stampin’ Up! Over The Moon Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Light Basic Black, Highland Heather, Light Smoky Slate, So Saffron and Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using my Layering Ovals Dies.  I cut the scallop oval from the Layering Ovals Dies that was 2X larger than my artwork from a Soft Seafoam cardstock panel.  I embossed the scalloped oval using my Stone 3D Embossing Folder.  This folder is a Sale-A-Bration item which comes with a stamp set.  I adhered the artwork to the scalloped oval using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the strip into a banner using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the sentiment to a Soft Seafoam strip, which I made a banner out of, using Snail. I adhered the sentiment across the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the ends.  On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped 2 of the flower images from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set in So Saffron Ink.  I punched the flowers out using the Small Bloom  Punch.  The stamp set and punch are 2 more items you can get with a qualifying order from Sale-A-Bration.  I adhered the flowers together using a Glue Dot and adhered them to the banner using a dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of the flower.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink under the 1st one.  I stamped another cow image from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the Whisper White panel.  I colored the cow I using my Light Basic Black and Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Highland Heather mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels to either side of the sentiment.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the cow image from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the image in using my Light Basic Black, Highland Heather, Light Smoky Slate and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a Highland Heather panel of the Subtle 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Birthday

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  It was cold here on Saturday.   When I walked to work in the morning it was only 11degrees out.  Other than the cold it was a sunny weekend, which was a nice change.

For today I have a Clean & Simple card for you that uses very little products.  Here’s my card.

My card joined in with Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #422.  Here is their sketch.

My colors were inspired by Color Throwdown Challenge #580.  Here are their colors.

I also played along with Water Cooler Wednesday Challenge #258.  Here is their theme.

I started by adhering a panel of Highland Heather Subtle 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper to a Highland Heather mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panel to a Smoky Slate card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the fern image from the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Cling Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink 3 times without re-inking the stamp.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink on the top of the panel.  I adhered the artwork to a Highland Heather mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to the Smoky Slate card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I wrapped a piece of Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine around the card front and tied a small bow.  I added a Glue Dot under the bow to keep it in place.  I adhered the card front to a Smoky Slate card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the fern image from the Positive Thoughts stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on either side of the panel 3 times without re-inking the stamp.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Highland Heather mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Smoky Slate card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the fern image from the Positive Thoughts stamp set on the bottom of the envelope front in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I stamped it 3 times on each side with out re-inking the stamp.  I adhered a panel of Highland Heather Subtle 6″ X 6″ DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Animal Outings Under My Umbrella Baby Shower for Fun Fold Friday

Happy Valentine’s Day my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week? Is anyone doing anything special today or tonight?

A co-worker of mine asked me to make her a baby shower card for her daughter who is having her first baby.  The only thing she told me was to make it blue since they are having a boy.  So I pulled out something old and something new.  I used some of the new Designer Series Paper from the Coordination products.  Here’s what I came up with.

I joined in with Inspire. Create Challenge #062.  Here is their challenge for the week.

I started by adhering a panel of the Coordination Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper to a Soft Seafoam mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panel to a Whisper White mat using Snail and then to a Balmy Blue card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the Kangaroo image from the Stampin’ Up! Animal Outings Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink.  I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the Animal Friends Dies.  I stamped the umbrella image on a panel of Subtle 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper in Soft Suede Ink.  I stamped the umbrella handle on a scrap of Soft Seafoam cardstock in Soft Suede Ink.  I punched the umbrella and the handle out using the Umbrella Builder Punch.

I used the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut a circle from Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered the stitched circle to a scallop circle which I cut using the Layering Circle Dies in Soft Seafoam cardstock using Snail.  I adhered the kangaroo to the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the umbrella handle to the umbrella using a Glue Dot and adhered it to the kangaroos hand using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the artwork to the center of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.  On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella Photopolymer Stamp Set in Balmy Blue Ink and made it into a banner.  I adhered it to a Soft Seafoam banner mat using Snail and then to the left side of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Heart Epoxy Droplet which I colored using my Dark Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Marker.

Next I made the card base.  I scored a 4 1/4″ X 11″ panel of Balmy Blue cardstock at 1 3/8″, 2 3/4″, 8 1/4″ and 9 5/8″.  I folded the sides in and then back so that it would look like this:

It’s kind of like a Z-Fold on both sides.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Animal Outings stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the kangaroo image from the Animal Outings stamp set over the sentiment in Crumb Cake Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the umbrella and handle images from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Soft Seafoam Ink in the kangaroos hand.  I colored the umbrella in using my Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Soft Seafoam mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Balmy Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On the right side panel of the card base, I adhered a panel of Coordination Pleased As Punch DSP which I matted on a Soft Seafoam panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to the left side of the card base using Tear & Tape Adhesive.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the kangaroo image from the Animal Outings stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the umbrella image from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Soft Seafoam Ink attached to the kangaroo.  I colored the images in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory, Smoky Slate and Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Blends Makers.  I adhered a panel of the Pleased As Punch DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and you know what that means, Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. If you’ve hopped over from Mary Deatherage’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “Birthday”. We can interpret this any way that we’d like.

For my card today I used one of my absolute favorite sets from the 2020 January-June Mini Catalog.  Here’s my card.

My card played along with Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #332.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Purple Posy card front using the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Purple Posy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the 2 pieces of  Best Dressed Designer Series Paper to a Mint Macaron mat using Snail.  I embossed a Mint Macaron banner using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the back of the Mint Macaron mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.   On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Basic Grey Ink.  I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory, Mint Macaron and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the artwork to a Mint Macaron mat using Snail.  I threaded a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine through a  2018-2020 In-Color Button and tied a bow.  I adhered a piece of Mint Macaron 1/8″ Sheer Linen Ribbon to the back of the button using a Glue Dot and then to the artwork using another Glue Dot.

I adhered the artwork to the small card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then adhered the small card front to the large card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a small strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set in Basic Grey Ink.  I sponged the edges using my Stamping Sponges and Mint Macaron Ink.  I adhered the sentiment using a Stampin’ Dimensional to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Basic Grey Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink, stamping off once, on top of the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Mint Macaron mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Purple Posy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the images from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Basic Grey Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory, Mint Macaron and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Best Dressed DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Power of Hope

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  It ended up being a beautiful weekend here. Did  anyone do anything fun?

For today’s card I used one of the Sale-A-Bration bundle that you can earn  with a $100 order.  I wasn’t sure I was gong to like it, but once I started playing with it I love it.  Here’s my card.

I played along with Fab Friday Color Challenge #182.   Here are their colors.

I also joined in with Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #421.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Coastal Cabana card front using the Stone 3D Embossing Folder.  This folder is only available with the stamp set as a bundle FREE with a qualifying order of $100 from Sale-A-Bration.  Using my Stamping Sponges I sponged Bermuda Bay Ink over the embossed panel to add some darker shading.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Coastal Cabana card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up! Power Of Hope Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the image out using the Stitched Shapes Dies.  Using the Layering Squares Dies, I cut the scallop square that fit the stitched square in Merry Merlot cardstock.  I adhered the stitched square to the Merry Merlot scalloped square using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the same panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Power of Hope stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the Layering Ovals Dies.  I stamped the lantern image from the Power of Hope stamp set in Melon Mambo Ink, stamping off 3 times, over the sentiment.  Using my Layering Ovals Dies, I cut the scallop oval that matched the sentiment oval out of Merry Merlot cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment oval to the scallop oval using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dot to the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Power of Hope stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tree image from the Power of Hope stamp set over the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamping off 4 times.  I stamped the bottom image from the Power of Hope stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored the image in using my Melon Mambo and Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Bermuda Bay mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Coastal Cabana card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the images from the Power of Hope stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored the one image in using my Melon Mambo and Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write Markers.  I stamped the lantern image from the Power of Hope stamp set across the envelope flap in Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo Ink stamping twice before reinking the stamp.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card.  Don’t forget, this Power of Hope Bundle is available as a Sale-A-Bration item FREE with a qualifying order of $100 or more.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Parisian Blossom Wedding for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is upon us, is anyone making plans?  I only have to work one day this weekend, YAY!!  I’m finally going to get to go to one of my nephews basketball games.  I’m not a basketball fan, but I do love watching the little ones play.

For today’s card I was inspired by a card one of my team members, Barbara Morrison Ross, posted on our team Facebook page yesterday.  Here’s my card.

My card played along with Sunday Stamps Challenge #223 From The Heart.  Here are their colors.

I started by embossing a Pool Party card front using the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the Pool Party panel to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I scored and folded a Petal Pink card base at 1 1/2″, 3″, 5 1/2″ and 8″ and adhered it to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the smaller card base to the larger one using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the large cake image from the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration  Happy Birthday To You Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with my Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I carefully colored the image using my Cherry Cobbler, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers making sure not to touch the embossed areas.  The Stampin’ Blends Markers will lift the embossed area if you color over them.  I fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips. There are dies available for cutting the image out.  They are Coordination Products that you can find in my Online Store.

I adhered the 3 panels of Parisian Blossom Specialty Designer Series Paper to the card base using Snail.  I adhered the cake image to the front panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals  only putting them on 1/2 of the cake.  I added Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the flower centers on the cake.

On the middle  panel I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossom Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Blossom stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White Panel.  I stamped the small flower image from the Forever Blossom stamp set in Petal Pink Ink in the corners of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped a cluster of the small flower image from the Forever Blossom stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Parisian Blossom Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Hello Honey Bee for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Here is my card using the colors. I’ll admit, I had to think for a moment what to make.

My card played along with the ‘Just Us Girls’ Challenge #521.  Here is their theme.

I started by adhering a panel of Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper, (Free Sale-A-Bration item), to a Whisper White card front using Snail. Using my Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker, I colored a piece of the 3/8″ Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon.  Once it was dry, I wrapped it around the card front.  With a smaller piece of the colored ribbon I tied a small bow and adhered it to the top of the ribbon using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the card front to a Basic Black card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Whisper White cardstock using the largest Stitched Nested Labels Dies and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using my Detailed Bees Dies, I cut a panel of the Golden Honey Specialty DSP using the bee hive die.  I cut out 2 honey combs from a Gold Foil Sheet using the Detailed Bees Dies.  I adhered the honey combs to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered the bee hive on top of the honey comb using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few of the ‘honey’ pieces to the honey comb using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped 2 of the small bees from the Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the bees out using the Detailed Bees Dies.  I colored the stripes on the bees in using my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers and I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the bees wings.  I adhered the bees to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered the sentiment to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I cut another one of the bee hives using the Detailed Bees Dies and the Golden Honey Specialty DSP.  I adhered the bee hive to the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink above the bee hive.  I stamped 2 more bees of the small bees from the Honey Bee stamp set on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the bees out using the Detailed Bees Dies.  I colored the bees stripes in using my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker and added some Clear Wink of Stella to the bees wings..  I adhered the bees to the bee hive using Glue Dots.  I adhered the Whisper  White panel to the inside of the Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the small bee image from the Honey Bee stamp set across the bottom of the envelope front.  I colored the bees stripes using my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Golden Honey Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Poppy Moments Valentine for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Sketch Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects.
Here is the sketch we had to work from.

Here’s what I came up with for the sketch.

My colors were inspired by Global Design Project Challenge #225.  Here are their colors.

I also played along with TGIF Challenge #248.  Here is their theme.

I joined in with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #256.  Here is their theme.

I started by embossing a Whisper White card front using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using my Poppy Moments Dies, I cut a solid flower from the Real Red cardstock.  I cut the outline flower and the scallop trim from the Flirty Flamingo cardstock.  I cut the flower center from the Basic Black cardstock.  Using the Painted Labels Dies I cut the swirly circle from the Basic Black Cardstock.  I adhered the flower outline to the solid flower using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the larger flower center to the flower center using Snail and the smaller flower center using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.  I adhered the Basic Black swirly circle to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the flower on top of the swirl using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Wish For Everything Cling Stamp Set in Real Red Ink.  I adhered the Flirty Flamingo scallop trim below the sentiment using Snail.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels which I colored using my Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Photopolymer Stamp Set in Real Red Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the poppy images from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set on the top and bottom corners of the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Using the color fill stamp from the Painted Poppies stamp set, I stamped over the poppy images using Flirty Flamingo Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink inside the flowers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Flirty Flamingo mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the poppy image from the Painted Poppies stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the fill image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink, stamping off once, inside the flowers.  I stamped the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink inside the flowers.  I adhered a panel of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.
