Good Monday morning my fellow stampers. How was everyone’s weekend? It was cold here on Saturday. When I walked to work in the morning it was only 11degrees out. Other than the cold it was a sunny weekend, which was a nice change.
For today I have a Clean & Simple card for you that uses very little products. Here’s my card.
My card joined in with Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #422. Here is their sketch.
My colors were inspired by Color Throwdown Challenge #580. Here are their colors.
I also played along with Water Cooler Wednesday Challenge #258. Here is their theme.
I started by adhering a panel of Highland Heather Subtle 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper to a Highland Heather mat using Snail. I adhered the matted panel to a Smoky Slate card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the fern image from the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Cling Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink 3 times without re-inking the stamp. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink on the top of the panel. I adhered the artwork to a Highland Heather mat using Snail. I adhered the matted artwork to the Smoky Slate card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I wrapped a piece of Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine around the card front and tied a small bow. I added a Glue Dot under the bow to keep it in place. I adhered the card front to a Smoky Slate card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the fern image from the Positive Thoughts stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on either side of the panel 3 times without re-inking the stamp. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Highland Heather mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Smoky Slate card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the fern image from the Positive Thoughts stamp set on the bottom of the envelope front in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I stamped it 3 times on each side with out re-inking the stamp. I adhered a panel of Highland Heather Subtle 6″ X 6″ DSP to the envelope flap.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
