Stampin’ Up! Cow’s It Going

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s Cinco De Mayo?  Did anyone have their own little celebration?  Yesterday I got to place my preorder for the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  My credit card is in a bit of shock.  I can’t wait to start giving you some sneak peeks.  There’s some awesome new things coming.

For today’s card I played around with another retiring set that always makes me smile when I make a card with it.  Here’s my card for today.

My design is from Sunday Stamps Getting Sketchy Challenge #230.

My colors are from Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #120.  Their colors are Black and Pink.

I also played along with Paper Players Theme Challenge #489.  Here is their theme.

I started by embossing a Flirty Flamingo card front using my Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the panel to a Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped one of the cow images from the Stampin’ Up! Over The Moon Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Light Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo and Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a scalloped circle from a panel of Basic Black cardstock using my Layering Circles Dies.  I adhered the artwork to the scalloped circle using Snail and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I colored a few Frosted Epoxy Droplets using my Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Marker and adhered them to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I just love puns.  I stamped another one of the cow images from Over The Moon stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored it in using my Light Basic Black and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Flirty Flamingo mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped 2 different cow images from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, one on the envelope front and one on the envelope flap.  I colored the images in using my Light Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo and Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Over The Moon

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s week started off?

For today’s card I pulled out a stamp set from the Annual Catalog and used some new items too.  With all the new items from the new Mini Catalog, we sometimes forget about the awesome stamps that are in the Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card.

My card played along with the Just Add Ink Challenge #492.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with Always Fun Challenge #150.  Theirs is a Theme challenge.  Their Theme is ‘Animals’

I started by adhering a panel of Highland Heather Subtle 6X6 Designer Series Paper to the Thick Whisper White card base using Snail.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the cow image from the Stampin’ Up! Over The Moon Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Light Basic Black, Highland Heather, Light Smoky Slate, So Saffron and Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using my Layering Ovals Dies.  I cut the scallop oval from the Layering Ovals Dies that was 2X larger than my artwork from a Soft Seafoam cardstock panel.  I embossed the scalloped oval using my Stone 3D Embossing Folder.  This folder is a Sale-A-Bration item which comes with a stamp set.  I adhered the artwork to the scalloped oval using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the strip into a banner using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the sentiment to a Soft Seafoam strip, which I made a banner out of, using Snail. I adhered the sentiment across the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the ends.  On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped 2 of the flower images from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set in So Saffron Ink.  I punched the flowers out using the Small Bloom  Punch.  The stamp set and punch are 2 more items you can get with a qualifying order from Sale-A-Bration.  I adhered the flowers together using a Glue Dot and adhered them to the banner using a dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of the flower.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink under the 1st one.  I stamped another cow image from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the Whisper White panel.  I colored the cow I using my Light Basic Black and Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Highland Heather mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels to either side of the sentiment.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the cow image from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the image in using my Light Basic Black, Highland Heather, Light Smoky Slate and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a Highland Heather panel of the Subtle 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Over The Moon Birthday Card

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone do anything exciting?  Hope all the dads out there enjoyed the day.

For today’s card I used the adorable new Stampin’ Up Over The Moon Cling Stamp Set from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  My son’s birthday is this week.  My little preemie will be turning 24 and he’s over 6′ now.  He definitely takes after me with the height (not really).  Well, he hates puns, so that means I have to find stamp sets that have some kind of pun in them and this one fit perfectly.  Here’s my card.

My card for today also played along with a few challenges.  First off is Fab Friday challenge #165.  Here is their sketch.

Next I played along with Paper Craft Crew challenge #340.  Here is their theme.  I’ve known people that have had cows for pets.

I also played along with Color My Heart Color Dare #347.  Here are their colors.

I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped one of the cow images from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the cow in using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Using the Masking Technique, I masked the cow with a Post-It note that I had stamped and fussy cut the cow image from.  I then stamped the mountains from the Stampin’ Up Waterfront Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink.  I stamped the sand image and dirt image from the Waterfront stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink also.  I stamped the clouds from the Stampin’ Up Above The Clouds Photopolymer Stamp Set in Seaside Spray Ink above the mountain image.  I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Moon stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the card front.

I adhered the artwork to a Blueberry Bushel mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to another mat of Seaside Spray cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a strip of Burlap Ribbon to the bottom of the Thick Whisper White card base using Snail.  I adhered the double matted artwork to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped another one of the cow images from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamping off 4 times so that I got a very light image.  I stamped the clouds from the Above The Clouds stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Moon stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink.  I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthday’s Cling Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel just below the cow image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blueberry Bushel mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped one of the cow images from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the front of the envelope.  I colored the cow in the same as I did for the card.  I stamped the clouds from the Above The Clouds stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped another one of the cow images from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope flap and colored it in the same as I did for the card.

Than you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Over The Moon Sneak Peek Fun Fold Card

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s week?  Hopefully you all have a long weekend to look forward to.

For today’s card I have a sneak peek for you from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog and it’s a fun fold card.  I’ve used the soon to be available Stampin’ Up Over The Moon Cling Stamp Set.  I’ve never been a huge cow fan, but I absolutely love this set.  I think it is just the cutest set and I just love the puns.  I can’t help but smile when I look at the cow images in the set.  Here’s my card.

I’ve joined in with 3 challenges for today’s card.  1st is the Festive Friday Challenge #034.  Here is their challenge.

Next I played along with Global Design Project #190.  Here is their sketch challenge.

I’ve also joined in with Sunday Stamps Challenge #205.  Here are their colors.

I started by adhering a piece of Sahara Sand Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, which will be retiring June 3rd, to the inside and front panel of a Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped one of the cow images from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the cow in using my Light Basic Black, Real Red and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.    I stamped the sentiment from Over The Moon stamp set on a diagonal in the top left corner of the Whisper White panel in Smoky Slate Ink.  I adhered a strip of Real Red cardstock along the bottom of the Whisper White panel using Snail.  I adhered a thin strip of Basic Black cardstock along the bottom edge of the Real Red strip using Snail.  I stamped the moon image from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut it using my Paper Snips.  I applied Wink Of Stella on the moon to make it shimmer then adhered it on the bottom of the Whisper White panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Snail then to a Basic Black mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals, only on the left half of the artwork.

I adhered another piece of the Sahara Sand Neutrals 6 X 6 DSP to the inside smaller side of the Sahara Sand card base.  I stamped another one of the cow images from the Over The Moon stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink, stamping off 3 times to get a very light image, on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the cow image, in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, making sure it was under the front panel.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Wisper White Envelope.  I stamped the cow image from the Over The Moon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the front of the envelope.  I colored it in the same as I did for the card.  I also stamped the thought bubble from the Over The Moon stamp set above the cow image and colored the heart in with my Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of Sahara Sand Neutrals 6 X 6 DSP on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  The Stampin’ Up Over The Moon Stamp Set will be available on June 4th for purchase, that’s in just 11 short days.  I hope everyone has a wonderful long Holiday Weekend and you have fun with whatever plans you have.  Happy stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Retirement List Clarification

It looks like every single stamp set from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog is being retired and that isn’t the case, the carryover sets are being transitioned to Cling Mount.

The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).

If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog!  All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.
