Stampin’ Up! Perfect Plaid for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  I was so excited to be asked to join in with the weekly ‘Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop’ and today is the first day for me to join in.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week was a fun Sketch Challenge.  Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects, I’m sure you will love them.  Here’s what I came up with for their sketch.

Here is the sketch I got to work from.

I started by adhering a panel of Wrapped In Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Cherry Cobbler  card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on the bottom of a Shaded Spruce cardstock panel.  I immediately sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the Shaded Spruce card front on top of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut out the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies from Whisper White cardstock, I then embossed it using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I cut out the largest scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies from a Gold Foil Sheet.  I adhered the Whisper White stitched circle to the Gold Foil scalloped circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I punched out 3 trees using my Pine Tree Punch, one in Cherry Cobbler, one in Shaded Spruce and one in Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DSP.  I adhered the Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce trees to the Whisper White circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the DSP tree on top of the other 2 using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a knot from a piece of Shaded Spruce/Gold Striped 3/8″ Ribbon and adhered it to the matted stitched circle using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the artwork to the top of the Shaded Spruce card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the plaid tree image from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Inks on the bottom of the Whisper White panel.  I punched another tree using my Pine Tree Punch from a piece of Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DSP and adhered it on top of the stamped trees using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the plaid tree image from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Inks on the bottom front of the envelope.  I adhered a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Stampin’ Up! Beauty and Joy For Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and you know what that means, Blog Hop Day!!  If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects. If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.  The theme this month is “Giving Thanks”. We can interpret this any way that we’d like.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up! Beauty & Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set to create a Thanksgiving card.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with the Inspire. Create Challenge #053.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with Just Us Girls Word Week #508.  Here is their theme.

I started by adhering a panel of Come To Gather Designer Series Paper to a Cajun Craze card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flowerpot image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Early Espresso Ink above the flowerpot stamping off once.  I stamped the leaves image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink on the tree trunk.  I cut the image out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For the banner I had to get a little creative.  I stamped the banner from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Cling Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I used my Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write Marker to color just the banner part of the stamp in.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink inside the banner.  I cut the banner out using the Christmas Cardinal Dies.  I adhered the banner to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut out some leaves using the Nature’s Roots Dies in Merry Merlot cardstock.  I adhered 3 of the leaves under the artwork using Glue Dots.  I adhered the cluster of leaves under the sentiment using Glue Dots.  I tied a small bow using the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread that comes in the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack, and adhered it to the cluster of leaves using a Glue Dot.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampn’ Up! A wish for Everything Cling Stamp Set in Cajun Craze Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Rooted In Nature Cling Stamp Set in Merry Merlot Ink, stamping off once, around the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Cajun Craze card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered another one of the die cut leaves by the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the tree image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered a panel of Come To Gather DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now be sure to hit Previous to hop back to Amy Koenders blog or hit Next to head over to Mary Deatherage’s blog. You can also click on each of the names and hop around that way. Happy Hopping!!

Stampin’ Up Birds of a Feather for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop.

If you’ve hopped over from Mary Deatherage’s blog, welcome.  If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects.   The 2nd Tuesday of each month this wonderful team puts together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some awesome projects.  This months theme is ‘Halloween’.  We can interpret this however we would like.  Those of you that know me, know that I’m not a big Halloween fan, but I have to admit I had a lot of fun with this one.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of Terracotta Tile cardstock to a Basic Black mat using Snail.  I adhered the 2 panels of  Monster Bash Designer Series Paper to Basic Black mats using Snail.  I adhered the 2 matted DSP’s to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the pirate duck image from the Stampin’ Up Birds of a Feather Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Light Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the artwork to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Birds of a Feather stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using the smallest circle from the Layering Circles Dies.  I cut a Basic Black scalloped circle out using the Layering Circles Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the scalloped circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the sentiment to the center of the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I added a couple of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels that I colored with my Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I adhered the card front to a Crushed Curry card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Wish for Everything Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I adhered 2 strips of Monster Bash DSP to the top and bottom of the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Crushed Curry card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the pirate duck from the Birds of a Feather stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the image in the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered a panel of the Monster Bash DSP to the envelope flap.

The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some gorgeous projects. This month our theme is ‘Fall Frenzy’. We can interpret this any way we would like to.  I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with.  If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects. If you’ve hopped over from Connie Troyer’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.

For today’s card I have another sneak peek for you.  I used a new bundle coming in the Holiday Catalog called Gather Together.  Here’s my card.

My card played along with the Fab Friday Challenge #169.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of the new Come To Gather Designer Series Paper (available Sept 4) to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted DSP to a Pretty Peacock card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the wheat image from the Stampin’ Up Gather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set (available Sept 4) in Pretty Peacock Ink 3 times.  I cut the image out using the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered it to a Blackberry Bliss scallop circle mat, which I had cut out using my Layering Circles Dies, using Snail and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Using the Gathered Leaves Dies (available Sept 4) I cut out 4 leaves, 1 each in Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Rich Razzleberry cardstock.  I stamped the single pumpkin image from the Gather Together stamp set on a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock in Pumpkin Pie Ink and cut it out using the Gathered Leaves Dies.  I arranged the leaves and pumpkin on the bottom of the stitched circle the way I liked them and adhered them using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Gather Together stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink and cut it out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the large leaf image from the Gather Together stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink, stamping off twice, in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Gather Together stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center of the leaf. I stamped the double pumpkin image from the Gather Together stamp set in Pumpkin Pie Ink on a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and cut them out using the Gathered Leaves Dies.  I adhered them to the bottom of the Whisper White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Pretty Peacock card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the wheat image from the Gather Together stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the front of the envelope.  I adhered a panel of the Come To Gather DSP on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Seaside Notions For Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and you know what that means, it’s time for another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some awesome projects. This month our theme is ‘CELEBRATE SUMMER’. We can interpret this any way we would like to.  I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with.  If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects. If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders , welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.

For today’s card I chose the Stampin’ Up Seaside Notions Cling Stamp Set to use.  Nothing says summer to me more than seashells and waves.  Here’s my card.

I played along with the Paper Craft Crew Challenge #342.  They had a Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I went right across the top.   Here’s their challenge.

I started by stamping the seahorse from the Seaside Notions stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of So Saffron Vellum from the Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I then fussy cut the seahorse using my Paper Snips.  I stamped the 3 different seashells from the Seaside Notions stamp set in VersaMark Ink on scraps of Petal Pink, Pool Party and Purple Posy cardstock.  I sprinkled them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set them using my Heat Tool.  I fussy cut all the shells out using my Paper Snips.  I cut the seaweed out from the Smooth Sailing Dies in Pear Pizzazz cardstock and Old Olive Vellum cardstock.  I cut the coral out in Petal Pink Vellum cardstock from the Under The Sea Dies.  I cut the sand dollar out of Whisper White cardstock using the Under The Seas Dies.  Last I cut the school of fish out from the Under The Sea Dies in Calypso Coral cardstock.

Using the 3rd largest Layering Circle Dies, I cut the circle out of the card front and the card base.  I embossed the card front using the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered all the elements to the card front using Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Fine Tip Glue Pen or Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Doing the collage part on the bottom was fun, but when it came to the school of fish on the top, I don’t know what I was thinking.  The Fine Tip Glue Pen really came in handy for them along with my craft tweezers. I added a few Clear Epoxy Droplets above the seahorse.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sand image from the Seaside Notions stamp set on the bottom of the Whisper White panel in Sahara Sand Ink stamping off once.  I took the negative piece where I cut the school of fish and used that as a stencil and sponged the fish on top of the sentiment in Calypso Coral Ink using a Sponge Dauber.  I added a couple more shells that I had embossed and fussy cut on the bottom of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the sand image from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink across the bottom front of the envelope and the bottom of the envelope flap.  I stamped the seahorse from the Seaside Notions stamp set on the side of the envelope front.  I stamped the shells from the Seaside Notions stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope and the envelope flap in Petal Pink, Pool Party and Purple Posy Inks.

Stampin’ Up New Wonders for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and that means it’s time for another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some amazing projects. This month our theme is ‘BIRTHDAY’. We can interpret this any way we would like to. If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects. If you’ve hopped over from Karen Finkle , welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.

For today’s card I used a new  Host Exclusive stamp set from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with Sunday Stamps challenge #206  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with TGIF color challenge #215  Here are their colors.

I started by adhering a panel of Granny Apple Green Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the large image from the Stampin’ Up New Wonders Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory, Granny Apple Green and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the New Wonders stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the bottom left of the artwork panel.  I adhered the artwork to a Night of Navy mat using Snail.

On a panel of Pool Party cardstock, I stamped the small leaf image from the New Wonders stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the top and bottom.  I adhered the matted artwork to the Pool Party panel using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the small leaf image from the New Wonders stamp set in Granny Apple Green in across the top and bottom of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party Mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the girl image from the New Wonders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a Granny Apple Green panel of the Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Sneak Peek for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and that means it’s time for another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some awesome projects. This month our theme is ‘MASCULINE’. We can interpret this any way we would like to. If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects. If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.

For today’s card I have a little sneak peek for you along with a Fun Fold card.  I used the Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Stamp Set, the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack and one of the new 2019-2021 In-Colors Seaside Spray, all which will be available June 4th.  I really struggle with masculine cards, but I had so much fun with this one.  The Sailing Home Suite makes it really easy to make a masculine card.  Here’s my card.

I started with the new 2019-2021 In-Color, Seaside Spray cardstock and scored it at 2 3/4″ and 8 1/4″ to make a gate fold card.

On the 2 sides I adhered a panel of the new Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I made a little collage for the overlapping panel.  I stamped 2 of the Whisper White panels with the sailboat image and sentiment from the new Sailing Home stamp set in Night Of Navy Ink.  I adhered the anchor and banner stickers, that come in the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack, on the 2 smaller panels.  I sponged all the panels using my Stamping Sponge and Sahara Sand Ink.  I then adhered all the pieces to a panel of Night Of Navy cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue so that I had a little wiggle room.  I adhered the collaged panel to one side of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a knot using the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine and adhered it to the artwork using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up High Tide Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the water from the same set on the bottom of the panel in Seaside Spray Ink.  I stamped the lighthouse from the Sailing Home stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink and the birds from the same stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then adhered it to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the front of the envelope similar to the inside of the card adding the sailboat from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I adhered a panel of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card, this was a lot of fun to make.  The Come Sail Away Suite made it so easy.  If you like the items I used, they will be available June 4th.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! has posted their retiring lists for the 2018-19 Annual Catalog and 2019 Occasions Catalog.  Head over to my online store to pick up those retiring items now!  They’re only available while supplies last from now through June 3!

A few notes about the lists:

  • Due to high demand for retiring stamp sets, these items will have guaranteed availability until May 24; all other products are not guaranteed and are available while supplies last only.
  • Order deadline to get the retiring products:  June 3, 2019; 11:50 PM (MT)

Please note, some of the bundle items may be carrying over into the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  However, the bundle pricing will go away, so get them while you can at the discounted price!!

Stampin’ Up! Retirement List Clarification

It looks like every single stamp set from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog is being retired and that isn’t the case, the carryover sets are being transitioned to Cling Mount.

The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).

If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog!  All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.

You can download copies of the full retiring lists in PDF Form here:

  • Click here to get a copy of the full retiring list from the Occasions Catalog.
  • Click here to get a copy of the full retiring list from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog.

Stampin’ Up Wonderful Romance For Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to our monthly Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some awesome projects.  This month our theme is ‘FEMININE’.  We can interpret this any way we would like to.  If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects.  If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Wonderful Romance Bundle.  Here’s my card.

I started with a panel of Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a panel of Whisper White cardstock using just a few Glue dots where you wouldn’t see them to easily since it was the Vellum.  I then adhered it to a Petal Pink mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to a Fresh Fig mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the double matted DSP to a Petal Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the small leafy image from the Wonderful Romance stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink around the edges.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Fresh Fig Ink towards the top of the square.  I adhered the artwork to a Petal Pink mat using Snail and then to a Fresh Fig mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the large floral image from the Wonderful Romance stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Fresh Fig and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers.  I cut the image out using my Big Shot and my Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies.  Using the same die set, I cut a few leaves out of Pear Pizzazz cardstock and the small embellishment out of Fresh Fig cardstock.  I arranged the die cuts how I liked them and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots.  I added a Petal Pink Frosted Flower to the sentiment panel and a few Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the floral die cut.  I added a double Whisper White Bakers Twine bow to the floral stem using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the large floral image from the Wonderful Romance stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink, stamping it off once, in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Strong and Beautiful Stamp Set in Fresh Fig Ink over the floral image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Petal Pink mat using Snail and to a Fresh Fig mat using Multipurpose Liquid glue.  I then adhered it to the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the floral image from the Wonderful Romance stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the envelope front and colored it in the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered a piece of Floral Romance Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Painted Seasons for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to our monthly Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some gorgeous projects.  This month our theme is ‘CELEBRATE SPRING’.  We can interpret this any way we would like to.  If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects.  If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.  I’ve used the FREE with Sale-A-Bration , Painted Seasons Bundle and the Four Seasons Famelits Dies for my card today.  Here is my card for today.

I love doing Fancy Fold cards, it’s one of my favorites.  Whenever I see a different fold, I keep practicing until I get it right.  I just love the challenge of different folds.  My card has a lot of pieces to it.  All the measurements are listed below.  I started with a Pool Party panel and scored it at 5 1/4″.  Putting the short side on the edge of my Stampin’ Trimmer, I lined up the long edge at the 1″ mark.  I cut from 3″ to 7 1/2″.  I then put the long edge with the 3″ side on the edge of my Stampin’ Trimmer and the 5 1/4″ score mark to the right and scored at the 3″ mark.  Keeping the cardstock the same, I scored the 1″ piece at 7 1/2″.  I hope this makes sense to you.

Here is what it will look like once you fold on the score lines.

I adhered my Wood Textures Designer Series Paper on Petal Pink mats using Snail. I adhered my Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper on the smaller Petal Pink mats using Snail.  I adhered all the matted pieces to the scored Pool Party panel where they all fit using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Pool Party card front to a Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using my Big Shot I cut the word ‘friend’ out from the Well Written Framelit Dies in the Wood Textures DSP.  It did not photograph well, but it show up much better in person.  I adhered it to the bottom front section using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock, using my Stamparatus,  I stamped the succulent flower image from the Stampin’ Up Painted Seasons Stamp Set (FREE Sale-A-Bration item) 3 times.  I stamped 2 in Pool Party Ink and 1 in Petal Pink Ink. On the Petal Pink flower I used my Sponge Dauber and lightly went around the edges with Pool Party Ink and then stamped over the 1st image.  I did the same with the Pool Party flowers except I used Petal Pink Ink.  I stamped the leaf image from the same stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink 3 times.  Using my Big Shot, I cut all the images out with my Four Seasons Framelits Dies (available for a limited time during the month of March).  I adhered 2 of the flowers and the 3 leaf images to the front section of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots.  I adhered the 3rd flower to the back section of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I wrapped a piece of Silver and Petal Pink Bakers Twine around the front section of the card front and tied a bow.  I added some Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the succulent flower from the Painted Seasons stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock stamping it off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink over the flower.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the succulent flower from the Painted Seasons stamp set on the front of the envelope once in Petal Pink Ink and twice in Pool Party Ink.  I adhered a piece of Painted Seasons DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you liked my card today.

Stampin’ Up Botanical Butterfly for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog  Hop.  If you are starting with me, welcome and be sure to hop around and see all the beautiful projects that everyone has made.  If you are hopping over from Amy Koenders blog, welcome to my blog. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies puts together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see a lot of gorgeousness.  This months theme is ‘Birthday’.  I made a fun fold card for today’s blog hop.  I saw this design on Pinterest, but can not remember who made it.  Here is my card.

There are a lot of pieces to my card and all the measurements are found below.  I started with a Highland Heather panel of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a Basic Black mat using Snail.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Humming Along Stamp Set in Highland Heather Ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.  I punched the sentiment out using the Pretty Label Punch.  I punched out 2 more of the labels from my Basic Black cardstock.

I adhered the 2 Basic Black labels using Snail behind the  sentiment so they were peeking out on the top and bottom.  I adhered a piece of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon to the card front using Snail then  I adhered the matted sentiment on top of the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Butterfly Duet Punch, I punched out some butterflies from a couple different Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (Sale-A-Bration item).  The great thing about this punch is it not only punches out the butterflies from the Butterfly Gala stamp set it also fits the butterflies on the Botanical Butterfly DSP which is a FREE item with a $50  during Sale-A-Bration.  I adhered 2 small and 1 large butterfly to the card front and 1 small butterfly to the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added one of the Butterfly Elements (another Sale-A-Bration item) behind the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I also added one of the Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the sentiment.  I adhered the card front to a Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I adhered 2 panels of the Botanical Butterfly DSP to Basic Black mats using Snail and I adhered them both to either side of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using my Big Shot I cut out 4 stitched squares from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies in the Highland Heather Gingham Gala DSP.  I adhered all 4 of them to a Basic Black mat and a Highland Heather mat both cut from my Layering Squared Framelits Dies, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a butterfly punched out from the Botanical Butterfly DSP, to each of the squares using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins to each of the squares.  I adhered a Basic Black strip of paper, which had been scored, to the inside only adhering it on the 2 end sections.  I adhered each of the squares to a section of the Basic Black strip using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Here is a top view of the inside.

After I was all finished with the inside I realized that I didn’t leave a spot to put a sentiment or write, So I added another panel to the back.

I adhered a panel of the Highland Heather Gingham Gala DSP to a Basic Black mat using Snail.  On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Forever Lovely Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I added a couple more of the butterflies punched out from the Botanical Butterfly DSP and adhered them to the Whisper White panel and cut off what over hung using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the card back using Snail and adhered it to the back of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I adhered a couple of the large butterflies from the Botanical Butterfly DSP to the front of the envelope and a panel of the same DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card.
