Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  I had the day off yesterday and I was going through some items that will be retiring and I came across some things that I hardly used. One of the items was the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack.  There are so many different things in this card pack, I couldn’t believe I didn’t used it more.  So I sat and made a whole set of masculine cards for you today using all different elements from this set that are retiring.  The only thing not retiring is the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set, YAY!!  I don’t have measurements since this is a card pack.  All my cards are either 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″ or 4 1/4″ X 11″ scored and folded at 5 1/2″.   My cards can be used as Birthday, Father’s Day, Encouragement or Anniversary cards.  Here are my cards for you.

This set makes great cards and can be used for scrapbook pages too.  I cut a 4 X6 panels down to fit my card base, added a sticker that came in the card pack and I was done.

There are 4″ X 6″ panels and 3″ X 4″ panels that I mixed and matched.  I added a little twine and the card was done. That easy.

Some I left the 3″ X 4″ panels and just added an embossed layer using the new Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder (available June 3).

Some I cut down using some of my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  This one uses some of the Come Sail Away DSP also, along with stickers that come with the pack.

This card I added some of the Come Sail Away DSP which coordinates perfectly with the panels, added a sticker and done.

This one I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, I added some of the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine and  the Sail Away Trinkets.

I embossed a panel using the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder to add some extra texture to this antique looking panel along with some of the Come Sail Away DSP.  I added some Linen Thread and a Sail Away Trinket and I was done.

This card I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies along with the Come Sail Away DSP and some stickers that came with the pack.  I added a few Metallic Pearls and my card was done. The possibilities are endless with this card pack.

The Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack, Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine and Sail Away Trinkets will all be retiring from the catalog.  Once they are gone that’s it.  If this is something that you love, grab them now.  The best part is they are ALL on CLEARANCE at a discounted price.  Don’t wait!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked all the cards I made using this card pack.  This is really an awesome set and there’s much more than I showed.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! A Good Man Sailing Home

Good Tuesday Cinco De Mayo morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s week started off?  Today’s an extra special day for us demonstrators, we get to place our preorder for the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  That means that I will be ordering my catalogs and if you are one of my customers, you will be getting yours in the mail real soon.

For today’s card I made you a masculine card.  I figured you were getting tired of Mother’s Day cards, so I moved on to Father’s Day.  I don’t make nearly as many Father’s Day cards though.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by adhering a panel of the retiring Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to a Night of Navy card base using Snail.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the lighthouse image from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink.  I cut the image out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I cut a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock an 1/8″ larger that the rectangle I used for a mat and adhered it to the center of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added some Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine to the Sahara Sand using a little Snail.

I adhered the artwork to the Sahara Sand mat on top of the bakers twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the Sail Away Trinkets to the end of the bakers twine using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Good Man Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped the lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiment.  I stamped the bird image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink above the lighthouse.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Sahara Sand mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on the envelope flap.  I adhered a panel of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Thanks for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is here once again.  My team has a fun event planned for tomorrow starting at 1pm.  We will be doing Facebook live videos showcasing the Ornate Garden Suite, there will even be giveaways at the end of the event.  You will just need to leave a comment during the live videos.  I’m planning on going live at 5pm.  Our Facebook page is all set up for the event and it’s open for joining!  Click this link to go to the group and then click the “join” button and we’ll get you approved ASAP: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1833741716756137/  Looking forward to seeing you there.

For today’s card I used a suite from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog which will be ending the beginning of June.  I don’t know if these items will be carrying over, so I wanted to make sure I got to use them.  My card is actually 2 cards in one.   Here’s my card.

I played along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #267.  Here is their theme.

I started with a Crumb Cake card base which is larger than normal.  It’s 5 1/2″ X 10″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″ & 8 1/2″.

I adhered 2 panels of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to Night of Navy mats using Snail and then adhered them to the front of the card base and the small fold over piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a smaller panel of Come Sail Away DSP to a Night of Navy mat using Snail.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink on a small Whisper White panel.  I cut the sentiment out using the banner die from the Smooth Sailing Dies and adhered it to the small card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside of the small card base, I stamped the sentiment from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a small Whisper White panel.  I stamped the anchor image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink to the right of the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the small Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the small card base to the fold over panel of the large card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, only on 1″ of the back near the fold.  I wrapped a piece of the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine around the card bases and tied a bow on the left side.  I adhered the small card front to the small card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Sail Away Trinket just below the sentiment using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the compass image from the Sailing Home stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the anchor image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink overlapping the compass image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the compass image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the envelope front, stamping off once.  I stamped the anchor image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink overlapping the compass image.  I adhered a panel of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up! Enjoy Life for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is here and hopefully you have made some fun plans.  Tomorrow’s the 1st of February already so that means I have to work in the office sending out our monthly statements.

I had to make one more masculine birthday card for the month.  Today is my husband, my great nephew and my nephew’s birthday.  One masculine card wasn’t bad enough for the day, I had to make 3.  As you know I struggle with masculine cards, but the one I made Tuesday for the 9 year old and today’s were the hardest.  Today’s is for a teenager that I’m honestly not sure what he’s into.  I came up with a quick and easy card for today’s fun fold for a teenage boy.

I started with my Night of Navy card base and I cut 1 1/4″ off the right front edge.  I adhered a panel of the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to the front of the card base using Snail.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy Life Photopolymer Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped the cyclist image from the Enjoy Life stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink over the sentiment.  I adhered the artwork to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Enjoy Life stamp set in Night of Navy Ink multiple times with the help of my Stamparatus.  The plate on the Stamparatus is hinged so you can stamp in a row keeping it perfectly straight.  I adhered the strip of Whisper White cardstock to the right side of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the foliage image from the Enjoy Life in Night of Navy Ink on both sides of the bottom of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the cyclist image from the Enjoy Life stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the bottom of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away to a New Adventure

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  I got all my baking done and now I just have to make up all the platters that I give out.  I like to make up all the platters at once so that I’m not pulling containers in and out since there are so many.  The final count was 25 different kinds and 1820 cookies not including the bar cookies.  I have to admit, by Saturday night I was wiped.

For today’s card, my husband asked me to make a card for a co-worker of his that is leaving for a new job.  I decided to bring out some DSP from the Annual Catalog and came up with a really quick card that he loved.  I even let him help design the card, just a little though.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to a Seaside Spray mat using Snail.  I wrapped a piece of Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine around the matted DSP twice and tie a square knot.

I cut the sentiment out of a scrap piece of Seaside Spray cardstock using the Sweet Silhouette Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the card front to a Sahara Sand card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I adhered another panel of the Come Sail Away DSP to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid glue.  I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I adhered a strip of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Come Sail Away Home Birthday Card

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  We’ve made it halfway through the week and we’re almost on the downhill to the weekend.  TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF BONUS DAYS!!! PROMOTION ENDS AT 11:50PM (MT). Don’t wait any longer to take advantage of this super deal.  For every $50 order you will earn a $5 coupon to used in August.  See details below.

For today I have a pretty quick and easy card for you after all that sponging yesterday.  Here’s my card.

I started with a Night of Navy card front and adhered 2 panels of the Come Sail Away Home Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using the Smooth Sailing Dies, I cut out the rope image from a scrap piece of Sahara Sand cardstock.

I adhered the die cut rope across the center of the card front using Snail.  I stamped the rope image from the Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink, stamping off once, on a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on top of the rope image.  I cut the sentiment out using my Layering Ovals Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the card front to a Sahara Sand card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink, stamping off once, in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink over the top of the lighthouse.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!1

Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Z-Fold Birthday Card

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Fun Fold Friday.  I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July.  Some of you may be lucky enough to have today off making this a 4 day weekend for you.

I have a masculine Z-Fold card for you today using one of my absolute favorite suites, Come Sail Away.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge.  Their challenge is ‘Any Occasion’.

I also played along with Seize The Birthday Challenge#169.  Their challenge is ‘Sunshine’.

My card also joined in with Stampin’ Up Only Challenge #226.  Their theme is ‘Birthdays’.

I started by scoring and folding my Night of Navy card base at 4 1/4″ and 2 1/8″.  I folded my card base in half and then I folded the front back.

I adhered a panel of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to the 2 1/8″ piece of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a piece of the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine around the front folded piece and tied a square knot (it seemed appropriate).

I adhered a laser cut panel from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack to a panel of Night of Navy cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork to the 2 1/8″ side using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a small strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Greetings Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the banner die from the Smooth Sailing Dies.  I edged the banner using my Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker then adhered it to the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I adhered a panel of the Come Sail Away DSP to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the larger sailboat image from the Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink stamping off 3 times.  I stamped the sentiment from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink over the sailboat.  I stamped the birds from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the top of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a little Sail Away Trinket to the bottom corner using a Glue Dot so that you could see in when the card is opened or closed.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the lighthouse and sailboat from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Z-Fold cards are one of the easiest Fun Fold card and you can do so many different things with it.  Stampin’ Up has made it very easy to order entire suites now.  I used everything that comes in the Come Sail Away Suite except for the 3D Embossing Folder.  One number now can order everything in the suite.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up A Good Man Father’s Day Card

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did you do anything funb?

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY!!!  The new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog goes live. Is anyone as excited as I am???  You can order anything and everything tomorrow.  I can’t wait.  I’m hoping to be able to hop on before I have to head into work to get my order placed.  My list is so long it may send my credit card into shock.  If anyone has a list as long as mine and you are interested in an online host club, click here for more information.  Now, if there is anything you have been wanting that is retiring, today is the last day to get it.

I have a quick Father’s Day card for you today.  I used the new Stampin’ Up A Good Man Stamp Set and paired it up with some of the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.  I absolutely love stamp sets that have that sketched look.  Here’s my card.

My card was able to join in with a few challenges.  First is the  Festive Friday challenge #0035.  Here is their challenge.

I joined in with the Stampin’ Up! Only challenge #224.  Their challenge it Masculine

I also joined in with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #223.  Here is their challenge.

I started by adhering a panel of the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to a Balmy Blue panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the image of the man carrying the little boy from the Stampin’ Up A Good Man Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink.  I colored the image in using my Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Ivory and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Using my Triple Banner Punch I punched the bottom into a banner.  I adhered the banner to the matted DSP using Snail.  I wrapped a piece of Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine around the top and tied a knot.

I adhered the panel to the front of a Night of Navy card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a thins strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the A Good Man stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional and a Glue Dot.  I colored one of the Heart Epoxy Droplets in using my Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Marker then adhered it to the right of the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the man carrying the little boy image from A Good Man stamp set in Night of Navy Ink, stamping off 4 times, in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from A Good Man stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on top of the stamped image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Balmy Blue mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the man carrying the little boy image from the A God Man stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the envelope front.  I colored it in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a piece of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Sneak Peek for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and that means it’s time for another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of every month this amazing group of ladies put together a blog hop and you are guaranteed to see some awesome projects. This month our theme is ‘MASCULINE’. We can interpret this any way we would like to. If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s projects. If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by.

For today’s card I have a little sneak peek for you along with a Fun Fold card.  I used the Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Stamp Set, the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack and one of the new 2019-2021 In-Colors Seaside Spray, all which will be available June 4th.  I really struggle with masculine cards, but I had so much fun with this one.  The Sailing Home Suite makes it really easy to make a masculine card.  Here’s my card.

I started with the new 2019-2021 In-Color, Seaside Spray cardstock and scored it at 2 3/4″ and 8 1/4″ to make a gate fold card.

On the 2 sides I adhered a panel of the new Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I made a little collage for the overlapping panel.  I stamped 2 of the Whisper White panels with the sailboat image and sentiment from the new Sailing Home stamp set in Night Of Navy Ink.  I adhered the anchor and banner stickers, that come in the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack, on the 2 smaller panels.  I sponged all the panels using my Stamping Sponge and Sahara Sand Ink.  I then adhered all the pieces to a panel of Night Of Navy cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue so that I had a little wiggle room.  I adhered the collaged panel to one side of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a knot using the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine and adhered it to the artwork using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up High Tide Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the water from the same set on the bottom of the panel in Seaside Spray Ink.  I stamped the lighthouse from the Sailing Home stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink and the birds from the same stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then adhered it to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the front of the envelope similar to the inside of the card adding the sailboat from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I adhered a panel of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card, this was a lot of fun to make.  The Come Sail Away Suite made it so easy.  If you like the items I used, they will be available June 4th.  Happy Stamping!!

Now be sure to hit Previous to hop back to Amy Koenders blog or hit Next to head over to Terry Lynn Bright’s blog. You can also click on each of the names and hop around that way. Happy Hopping!!

Stampin’ Up! has posted their retiring lists for the 2018-19 Annual Catalog and 2019 Occasions Catalog.  Head over to my online store to pick up those retiring items now!  They’re only available while supplies last from now through June 3!

A few notes about the lists:

  • Due to high demand for retiring stamp sets, these items will have guaranteed availability until May 24; all other products are not guaranteed and are available while supplies last only.
  • Order deadline to get the retiring products:  June 3, 2019; 11:50 PM (MT)

Please note, some of the bundle items may be carrying over into the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  However, the bundle pricing will go away, so get them while you can at the discounted price!!

Stampin’ Up! Retirement List Clarification

It looks like every single stamp set from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog is being retired and that isn’t the case, the carryover sets are being transitioned to Cling Mount.

The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).

If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog!  All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.

You can download copies of the full retiring lists in PDF Form here:

  • Click here to get a copy of the full retiring list from the Occasions Catalog.
  • Click here to get a copy of the full retiring list from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog.

Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Sneak Peek

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers and Happy May Day everyone! .  We’re half way through the week and on our way to the weekend.  I can’t believe it’s May already. Before you know it, Memorial Day will be here.

For today’s card I have a little sneak peek for you from the up coming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  It’s the Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Bundle.  This was the first set that caught my eye and I just had to have it.  I’ve also made a fun fold card for you.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with the TGIF Inspiration Challenge #209 .  Here’s their challenge.

I started with a Soft Suede card base and scored it at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″.  I adhered a panel of the up coming Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to the inside.  I just love news print paper on cards.

I took a small panel of the Soft Suede cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This folder will be retiring as of June 3rd, so now’s the time to grab it if it’s something you’ve been wanting.  I stamped the anchor, lighthouse, sailboat and sentiment images from the Sailing Home stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock.  I then cut them out using the Smooth Sailing Dies.  I also cut a strip of Sahara Sand cardstock and sponged it with Soft Suede Ink using my Stamping Sponge.

I arranged the pieces the way I wanted to on the embossed panel.  I adhered them using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to the front panel of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the small inside panel I adhered a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up High Tide Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink.  I stamped the grass and birds from the same stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Sahara Sand Ink stamping off once.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I started by sponging all around the front and back of the envelope with Soft Suede Ink and my Stamping Sponge.  I stamped the lighthouse and sailboat from the Sailing Home stamp set in Soft Suede Ink.  I adhered a panel of the Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope that you liked my card.  This stamp set, dies and DSP will all be available June 4th for purchase.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up!
