Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? I hope you were able to spend some time doing something fun. I was at the dog bakery all day yesterday. It was super busy, and we were overwhelmed with puppies. It was so much fun petting them and giving them treats. We had a lot of 4-month-old puppies in that were just too cute.
Today’s card is one that I made last Tuesday night at our team meeting. At the end of our meeting, we do a little mystery stamping and last week I got to pick the design. We always do a lot of laughing and chatting at our meetings and just have a good time. We get to see everyone virtually since we all live across the US. This is one more perk of being a demonstrator. I used the Stampin’ Up! Kindest Gnomes Cling Stamp Set along with the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I started by adhering a panel of Storybook Gnomes DSP to a Night of Navy card base. I adhered a smaller panel of Storybook Gnomes DSP to a Night of Navy mat. I adhered the layered panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of Pool Party cardstock on top of the layered panel on the card base allowing the DSP to show a little on the bottom.
On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the gnome image from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Daffodil Delight, Ivory, Night of Navy, Pool Party, Smoky Slate and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.
Next to the gnome image, I stamped the sentiments from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. I adhered the stamped panel to a Night of Navy mat. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Pool Party Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems to the card front.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the gnome image from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using my Daffodil Delight, Ivory, Night of Navy, Pool Party, Smoky Slate and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Pool Party mat then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the gnome image from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Storybook Gnome DSP to the envelope flap.
