Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals CAS

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers. Here we are halfway through the week already. These days are going too quick for me. Is everyone getting your shopping done? Holiday cards mailed? Decorations up? Starting to plan Christmas dinner? I guess 1 out of 4 isn’t bad for me. I’ve got half my decorations up so far and that’s it. I’m hoping to get the rest done today. I’m also focusing on getting my cards out by this weekend, see how that goes.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set, but I didn’t make a poinsettia this time. Here’s my card.

My colors are from Global Design Project Challenge # 269. Here are their colors.

My design is from CAS(E) This Sketch # 399. Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper to a Real Red card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a smaller panel of Poinsettia Place DSP to a Real Red mat using Stampin’ Seal.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Just Jade Ink. I stamped the pine bough image from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Garden Green Ink above the sentiment. I colored the pine cones in using my Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Shapes Dies. I adhered the artwork to a Real Red mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered a piece of Just Jade 1/4″ 2020-2022 In-Color Ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the matted artwork over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few of the clear Wonderful Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Just Jade Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the boughs image from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Garden Green Ink on the top of the panel and colored the pine cones in using my Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Garden Green mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Real Red card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Poinsettia Place DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals For Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Did you all have a nice Thanksgiving? How many of you ended up in a food coma after eating your dinner? We had a very nice quiet one here. Once everything was done, I started pulling some boxes out of the attic of our Christmas decorations. It’s been a tradition for years that the weekend after Thanksgiving Christmas explodes in my house. The past couple years it’s taken more that just the weekend to decorate with my work schedule. This year I have the advantage that I don’t have to undecorate and clean before decorating since we just cleaned and put all our furniture back in our house. I’ll see how much I get done between today and tomorrow.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you very much. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card that I made.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Bundle for today’s Fun Fold Card.

I started by adhering a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP to an Old Olive mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the matted DSP to the Petal Pink card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front just under the 1″ top of the card base using Tear & Tape.

On a panel of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the poinsettia image from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink. I stamped the medium poinsettia layered image from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set on the Shimmer White cardstock twice in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the poinsettia image in using my Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I then used my Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter to remove some of the color so that it had a very light color. I colored the leave in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut all the images out using my Poinsettia Dies. I snipped the leaves apart using my Paper Snips. I adhered the leaves under the flower image using Glue Dots.

I wrapped a piece of 3/8″ Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the top of the card front and tied a knot. On a strip of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the flower to the right of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Beaded Pearl embellishment to the flower center using a Glue Dot. I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I adhered a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP to an Old Olive mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment from Poinsettia Petals stamp set in the center of a panel of Shimmery White cardstock in Soft Suede Ink. I stamped the poinsettia flower from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set over the sentiment in Petal Pink Ink, stamping off once. I adhered the Shimmery White panel to the inside of the Petal Pink card base in the center of the DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the poinsettia flower from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front. I colored the flower in using my Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I masked the flower and stamped the leaves from the medium layered poinsettia from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the leave in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Double Z-Fold for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? We’re upon another weekend, is anyone making plans? I’ll be at work all weekend.

Today’s card I made Wednesday on my Facebook Live Video. If you were able to join me live or you watched the replay, thank you very much.  If you’d like to view my video either on Facebook or YouTube, the links are below. Here’s my card for today.

I started by scoring and folding the large and small card bases at 4 1/4″ & 2 1/8″. I adhered a panel of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper to the large card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered a panel of the Poinsettia Place DSP to the inside back and the inside front (you can not see it in this photo) of the large card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of the Poinsettia Place DSP to the small card base front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the small card base to the large card base using Tear & Tape.

I cut the 4 flower dies from the Poinsettia Dies from a panel of Real Red Cardstock. I brushed all the petals using my Clear Wink of Stella. I cut the large flower die from the Poinsettia Dies from a panel of Old Olive Cardstock and snipped all the leaves apart using my Paper Snips. I adhered the leaves under the flower using Glue Dots then adhered the flower to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added one of the Beaded Pearls to the center of the flower using a Glue Dot. On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhered it to the card front, just under the flower, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few branches I cut from a panel of Silver Foil using my Poinsettia Dies and adhered them under the flower using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Cling Stamp Set on the Whisper White panel and cut it out using the 2nd largest frame die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the back of the small card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the poinsettia image from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Real Red Ink on the envelope front. I masked the image and stamped the flower leaves from the medium flower image from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Old Olive Ink. I colored the image in using my Old Olive and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I adhered a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Blushing Poinsettia Petals

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends.  Happy World Card Making Day!!!  Hope you will all be busy creating today and sharing/mailing your beautiful cards.  I’m a little early today, since I have to get ready for our event.

For today I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Bundle.  Here’s my card for today.

My design is from The Spot Challenge # 130.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper to a Pear Pizzazz card base using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered another panel of the Poinsettia Place DSP across the center of the card front using Stampin’ Seal.

From a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock I cut 1 each of the large, medium, small and extra small flowers from the Poinsettia Dies.  I brushed each of the flowers using my Clear Wink of Stella to give it a little shimmer.  From a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock I cut the largest flower die from the Poinsettia Dies.  I snipped all the leaves apart using my Paper Snips and sponged the edges using my Stamping Sponge and Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I adhered the flowers together using Glue Dots or tiny amounts of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Pear Pizzazz leaves behind the flower using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I zig-zagged a piece of Real Red 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon on the card front using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the flower to the center of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut 2 sprigs from the Poinsettia Dies our of a panel of Silver Foil and adhered them under the flower using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Beaded Pearl to the center of the flower using a Glue Dot.  On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I adhered the sentiment to the bottom left of the flower using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the poinsettia image from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on 2 of the corners of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blushing Bride mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Pear Pizzazz card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the poinsettia image from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  I hope you will be able to join us today for our World Card Making Event.  The link is below to join in our Facebook page.  It’s going to be a fun day of card making videos.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Is anyone doing anything this weekend?  I’m working at the dog bakery again today.  The owner asked me a couple weeks ago if I could fill in yesterday and today.  I haven’t worked there since the whole pandemic started.  Her business really took a hit and it’s still trying to work it’s way back up.

For today I made a corner fold card and made it into a Christmas card.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by scoring and folding my card base.

I scored the card base at 5 1/2″ then move it over to 4 1/4″ and made a small pencil mark.  I scored from the pencil mark to the opposite corner.

I folded the corner down to like the pictures above.

I adhered a strip of the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper to the left side of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a Whisper White panel in Balmy Blue Ink, I stamped the large poinsettia from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set twice, the medium one once and the smaller one once.  I stamped the large poinsettia a 3rd time in Old Olive Ink.  On the Balmy Blue flowers, I went around the tops of the flowers and the veins with my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I used my Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter Marker to move the color around to give it just a light tint of the blue.  I colored the Old Olive flower in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut all the images out using my Poinsettia Dies and cut one of the extra small flower.  I went over the extra small flower with my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Marker and then used my Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter Marker to just give it a hint of color.  I adhered the Balmy Blue flowers together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue just in the centers.  I cut the Old Olive flower leaves apart and adhered them to the back of the flower using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a few of the foliage pieces out from my Poinsettia Dies from a Silver Foil Sheet and Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper.  I adhered them to the back of the flower using Glue Dots.

I cut a 4″ X 4″ panel of Whisper White panel in half diagonally and embossed one of the panels using my Winter Snow Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the folded card front panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the poinsettia to the folded panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Beaded Pearl to the flower center using a Glue Dot.  On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I adhered a panel of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the other half of the 4″ X 4″ panel and adhered it to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the poinsettia from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set on the envelope front in Balmy Blue Ink.  I adhered a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Thanksgiving Wreath

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone do anything fun?  I hope you are all getting off to a great start of a new week.

For today I played with another new to me set from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by adhering a panel of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper to a Just Jade mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to a Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the Wreath Builder Dies, I cut one of the wreaths from a panel of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and one from a panel of Just Jade cardstock.  I cut 4 flowers from the same die set out of a panel of Bumblebee cardstock and 4 flower centers from the Cinnamon Cider cardstock.  I stamped the flower center image from the Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on the flower center dies.  I adhered the centers to the Bumblebee flowers using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Just Jade wreath on top of the Cinnamon Cider wreath using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the flowers on the bottom of the wreath using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots.

I made a small bow using the 1/4″ Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon and adhered it to the top of the wreath using a Glue Dot.  I stamped the sentiment from the Arrange A Wreath stamp set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered a thin strip of Just Jade cardstock using Stampin’ Seal on the bottom back of the sentiment and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Bumblebee 2020-2022 In-Color Enamel Dots to the sentiment and card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Home Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cinnamon Cider Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I adhered the extra flower I die cut above the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Just Jade mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I adhered a strip of Poinsettia Place DSP to the front of the envelope and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
