Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Wreath for The Card Concepts.

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week and the weekend is right around the corner.

It’s time for another inspiration challenge for The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo is Fall Fun.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Sparkle of The Season Bundle and some new Heart & Home Designer Series Paper (coming in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog) for my Clean & Layered card. I was inspired by the beautiful fall colors along with the sunflowers in the vase and the apples.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concepts and join us for our challenge #162.  How are you inspired by this photo?

I started by adhering a panel of the gorgeous new Heart & Home DSP to an Old Olive mat. I adhered the layered panel to a Cajun Craze card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sunflower image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock and colored the image in using my Bumblebee and Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Markers. I fussy cut the sunflowers using my Paper Snips. Using the Festive Finishes Dies, I cut multiple apples from a panel of Cajun Craze cardstock.

I cut the leaf wreath from a panel of Old Olive cardstock using my Seasonal Swirls Dies. I cut the swirly wreath from a panel of Early Espresso cardstock using the Painted Labels Dies. I didn’t want the solid center in the swirly wreath so I used the circle that fit the best from the Layering Circles Dies and cut it out. I layered the wreaths together the way I liked and adhered them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals where I would be putting the flowers and the apples. I made a multi loop bow from a length of Linen Thread and adhered it to the wreath. I adhered the sunflowers over the bow and the apples randomly on the wreath. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set in Cajun Craze Ink and cut it into a banner using my Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment tucking it under the flowers.

On the inside I stamped the swirly wreath from the Stampin’ Up! Sparkle of The Season Photopolymer Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink, stamping off once, on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Sparkle of The Season stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink in the center of the wreath. I randomly stamped the trio leaves image from the Sparkle of The Season stamp set in Bumblebee and Old Olive Inks and adhered a few more of the apples I had cut out from the Festive Finishes Dies. I adhered the Basic White panel to an Early Espresso mat and then to the inside of the Cajun Craze card base.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the trio leaf image from the Sparkle of The Season stamp set in Bumblebee, Cajun Craze and Old Olive Inks on the bottom of the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Heart & Home DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? By the time you are reading this I will be in the air flying to Georgia for our retreat (hopefully). I can’t wait to get there to stamp, eat and laugh with friends all weekend long.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. A couple weeks ago I told you I was going to a Sunflower Maze. I did go and it was amazing. That is where some of my inspiration for my card today came from. I’ve shared a few pictures below of our day at the maze. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Cling Stamp Set, the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by cutting my Night of Navy card base. I cut the front panel at the 2 3/4″ mark to the outside edge. I then cut on the 4 1/4″ score line up from the 2 3/4″ cut line. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to a Cinnamon Cider mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the small sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and the bouquet from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Stampin’ Up! Plentiful Plants Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cinnamon Cider Ink on the Basic White panel. I colored the images in using my Balmy Blue, Cherry Cobbler, Cinnamon Cider, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the small sunflower image out using my Sunflower Dies and the flowerpot image using my Perfect Plants Dies. I fussy cut the sunflower bouquet using my Paper Snips. I cut a few sprigs from the Sunflower Dies from a panel of Soft Succulent cardstock.

I fussy cut one of the flowerpot images from a panel of the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP using my Paper Snips. I adhered the Soft Succulent sprigs to the back of the flowerpot using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sunflower bouquet to the front of the flowerpot using Glue Dots then adhered the arrangement to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside on a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the stem image from the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set in Garden Green Ink. I cut the panel at 2 1/2″ and fussy cut around the stem using my Paper Snips. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the top of a Cinnamon Cider mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic White panel with the stem to the bottom of the Cinnamon Cider mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Plentiful Plants stamp set in Garden Green Ink on the DSP panel. I adhered the small sunflower die to the top of the stem using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the die cut flowerpot to the bottom of the stem using Stampin’ Seal.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the small sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom front of the envelope and colored it in the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. If you do CASE this card, please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under the post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Hope you were able to take some time for yourself.

Today’s card I used an older set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, using all the new 2021-2023 in-Colors. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set for today’s card.

My design is from the Just Add Ink Challenge #558.

I also played along with Inspire. Create Challenge #092.

I started by adhering a panel of the 2021-2023 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Soft Succulent card base using Stampin’ Seal. I embossed a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Macramé 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to an Evening Evergreen mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the matted panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the flower image from the Jar Of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image in using my Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Layering Circles Dies. I cut a scalloped circle from a panel of Evening Evergreen cardstock using my Layering Circles Dies and adhered the artwork to the scalloped mat using Stampin’ Seal then to the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I made a small bow using the Fresh Freesia 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon and adhered it to the artwork using a Glue Dot. I added a few 2021-2023 In-Color Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Friendship Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the 2021-2023 In-Color DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to an Evening Evergreen mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Soft Succulent card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower image from the Jar Of Flowers stamp set on the envelope front and colored it the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of the 2021-2023 In-Color DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Country Flowers

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  I hope you have something fun planned for today.

For today’s card I pulled out an older set along with a new set and I put my fussy cutting to the test.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors are from Global Design Project #253.  Here are their colors.

My design is from Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #567.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Granny Apple Green Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Whisper White card front using Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped 3 pieces of the 1/4″ Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon around and secured them in the back using Glue Dots.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the milk can image from the Stampin’ Up! Country Home Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I embossed the panel using my Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Whisper White mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On another panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sunflower image from the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Calypso Coral, Cinnamon Cider and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Since they didn’t make a Bumblebee marker, I used my Water Painters with a little Bumblebee Ink on a clear block.  I fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips.  I stamped the sunflower image again on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock making sure to get the 1 sunflower.  I colored it in using my Calypso Coral and Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends Markers and fussy cut it out using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the single sunflower to the top of the matching one using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the flower image to the top of the milk can using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Country Home stamp set on a 1/4″ scrap of Whisper White cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the sentiment into a banner using my Paper Snips and adhered it to the milk can using Stampin Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added 3 of the frosted droplets from the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Country Home stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered a strip of the Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the sunflower image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and flap.  I colored the images in using my Calypso Coral, Cinnamon Cider and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored one flower in using my Water Painters with some Bumblebee Ink.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Jar of Flowers for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  We’re upon a holiday weekend, which normally I would have a lot going on.  I do have to work Sunday and I told my boss I would come in on Saturday for a couple hours to relieve the cashiers so they could take breaks.  These past few weekends no one was able to take a break it was so busy.  Plus, if I go in on Saturday and do some of my work in the office, I won’t have to go in on Tuesday (which is my daughter’s birthday).  Luckily we are closed on Monday, the store has been closed for  60 years on Memorial Day and they are not about to start opening now.

Onto my card for today.  I mixed up some retiring items along with some new items for today’s card.  I’m really determined to use up some more of my DSP that’s retiring.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors were inspired by Sunday Stamps Challenge #231.  I thought the 1st color of the pallet was Navy, but the more I look at it I believe it’s Black. Here are their colors.

My design is from Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge #457.  Here is their sketch.

I started by cutting part of my card front off so that I had a half panel.  I took an 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ card base and scored it at 4 1/4″.  From the top center I cut down to the 3″ mark.  I then turned my card base and cut from the center at that 3″ mark to the outside of the panel leaving just the bottom portion.  I adhered a panel of Old Olive Regals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the bottom portion of the card front.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flower and jar images from the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.   I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, Poppy Parade and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the stem image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Old Olive Ink in the jar and punched it out using the Jar Punch.  I colored the stems in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers, fussy cut the flowers using my Paper Snips and adhered them to the top of the jar using Glue Dots.  I cut the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies  from a panel of Night of Navy cardstock.  I cut the largest scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies out of a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I took a 1″ strip of Whisper White cardstock and embossed it using my Lace 3D Embossing Folder.  On a thin strip of Poppy Parade cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I adhered the embossed Whisper White strip to the top of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Night of Navy stitched circle to the Whisper White scalloped circle using Snail and adhered it to the card front, hanging off the right side, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the circle straight with the side of the card front.  I adhered the jar of flowers to the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the Poppy Parade sentiment strip across the card front over lapping the embossed strip and the jar using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the card front.

On the inside I adhered a Rich Razzleberry Regals 6 X 6 DSP panel to the card base using Snail.  I stamped the sentiment from the Many Mates stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I stamped the flower image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Night of Navy Ink over the sentiment, stamping off 4 times to get a very light image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set on the envelope front.  I colored the image in using my Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, Poppy Parade and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Regals 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend.  Stay Safe!!  Happy Stamping.

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Sneak Peek

Good Sunday morning my fellow stampers.   Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  I have today off, so I’m not sure what I will be doing yet.  We’ll see how the day progresses.

I have another sneak peek for you today using part of the Stampin’ Up! Flowers For Every Season Suite coming June 3rd in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by cutting a Night of Navy card front using the Ornate Borders Dies.  I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the 5th largest Stitched Rectangle Die, I cut a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut partway through then moved the die down and flipped the paper and cut partway through again.  I stamped the spring flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the cut panel.  I colored the flowers in using my Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Night of Navy and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the leaves using my Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker.  On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the larger jar image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the reverse side of the small jar image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink.  I stamped the stem image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink inside the jar and colored them in using my Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker.  I cut the image out using my Jar Punch .  I wrapped a small piece of Petal Pink 1/4″ Metallic Edge Ribbon around the top of the jar and adhered it to the stamped image using Glue Dots.  I tied a knot using the Petal Pink 1/4″ Metallic Edge Ribbon around the wrapped ribbon.

I adhered the artwork to a panel of Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper using Snail.  I adhered the matted panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centers of the die cut flowers on the edge.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I adhered 2 strips of the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP to either side of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the image in using my Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Night of Navy and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker.  I adhered a panel of the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
