Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have any plans yet for the weekend? I was supposed to have off the entire weekend to do my baking, but unfortunately, they were shorthanded at the dog bakery and me being a softy said I could help. So, plans have changed a bit, I’ll be mixing my cookies today and baking what I could on Sunday. The rest will have to get baked off during the week. I thought about not baking anything this year, but that’s not going over well at all. I’ve been doing this since I was a little girl with my mom and as she got older, I just took over. I can’t break a tradition.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Kind & Sincere Cling Stamp Set (available starting January 5, 2023) along with the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose Cling Stamp Set and Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of Abigail Rose DSP to a Smoky Slate card back. I scored & folded a Pool Party card base as listed below. Adhered the card base to the center of the card back. Fussy cut one of the large flower images from the Abigail Rose DSP using Paper Snips. Color the image using Highland Heatherm Petal Pink, Pool Party, Shaded Spruce and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I embossed a Smoky Slate card front using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Pool Party mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered panel to the 1 1/2″ left side only of the card base. Adhere the large fussy cut floral image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere a panel of Abigail Rose DSP to the 1 1/2″ right side of the card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock stamp the sentiment from the Kind & Sincere stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the 2nd largest narrow rectangle die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Adhere the sentiment over the floral image using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the thin panel of Basic White cardstock, stamp the sentiment from Kind & Sincere stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the largest narrow banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere the banner sentiment to the right panel using Glue Dots. Add a few Elegant Faceted Gems to the card front.

Adhere the 2 panels of Abigail Rose DSP to the inside of the card base. Stamp the small flower image from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the bottom of the Basic White panel. Color the image using the Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhered the Basic White panel to a Smoky Slate mat then to the inside of the Pool Party card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the smaller rose image from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image using my Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Abigail Rose DSP to the envelope flap which I had colored the same as the card front image.

January – April 2023 Mini Catalog Designer Series Paper Share

I’m offering a Designer Series Paper share from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog and I’d love to have you join!!  I’m placing my share order early on January 5 and I’m going to use the expedited shipping option so I should be able to have the shares cut, bundled and back out to you during the week of January 9.

How shares work:  I order full packs of all of the Designer Series Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ x 6″ pieces (or 6″ x 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list.  I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can!  Shares give you a good working sample of all of the papers so that you can decide which ones to order in full packs!
