Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. I hope everyone’s week has started off good. It’s cooling down here today. We actually got about 5 minutes of rain at midnight. Not enough to water lawns and flowers, but it’s a start lol.

Today I have a quick birthday card for you. I’m thinking about maybe getting started with some of my Christmas cards tomorrow. It’s just so hot I haven’t been able to think Christmas. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose Cling Stamp Set along with the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of Abigail Rose DSP to an Early Espresso card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a panel of Abigail Rose DSP using the 2nd largest Scalloped Contours Dies. I colored 1 of the flowers on the cut panel using my Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the panel to a Crumb Cake mat.

I wrapped a piece of the Natural 1/2″ Woven Ribbon around the layered panel and tied a knot. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from Cottage Rose stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. I fussy cut the sentiment using my Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Elegant Faceted Gems to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Cottage Rose Stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the small flower image from the Cottage Rose stamp set on the side of the panel in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Crumb Cake mat and then to the inside of the Early Espresso card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the small flower image from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Abigail Rose DSP to the envelope flap.
