Stampin’ Up! Easter Bunny for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Here we are halfway through the week already. I hope your week is going well.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. I like to try to work with something from the photo and the colors when I’m making my card for the challenge. It took me a minute, but I was able to work with both. The inspiration photo #192 is Happy Easter.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

Stampin' Up! Easter Bunny 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Easter Bunny Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Fancy Flora 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder for my Clean and Layered card today. I was inspired by the brick of the fireplace and the bunny on top in the grass on top along with the colors of the photo.

I hope you will play along with our challenge #192 over at The Card Concepts. How are you inspired by this photo?

Stampin' Up! Easter Bunny 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by creating the background brick panel. Using my Crumb Cake Ink Pad, I covered the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder with ink. I place the panel of Basic White cardstock in the folder and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered the card front to an Evening Evergreen card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Easter Bunny 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered 2 panels of Fancy Flora DSP to Evening Evergreen mats using Stampin’ Seal. I wrapped a piece of 1/2″ Burlap Ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack around the 4 1/4″ panel and tied a bow. I adhered the panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the other layered panel on top of the 1st panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Easter Bunny 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a small panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the bunny image from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. I added some shading using Crumb Cake and colored the inside of the ears with Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Marker. I fussy cut the bunny using my Paper Snips. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the grass image from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink along the bottom of the panel. I colored the grass using my Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the top of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to an Evening Evergreen mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the bunny to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal. I added a few 2021-2023 In-Color Opal Rounds to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the bunny image from the Easter Bunny stamp set on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the grass image from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink along the bottom of the panel. I shaded the bunny using Crumb Cake, the ears using my Flirty Flamingo and the grass using my Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Whtie mat then to the inside of the Evening Evergreen card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the bunny image from the Happy Easter stamp set on the envelope front in Early Espresso Ink. I stamped the grass image in Evening Evergreen Ink along the envelope bottom. I colored the grass using Soft Succulent, shaded the bunny with Crumb Cake and ear with Flirty Flaming Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Fancy Flora DSP to the envelope flap.

MY CURRENT HOST CODE IS:    XMVFTAU4

Use this host code when placing an order with me. When you order $50 or greater you will receive a free gift from me! If your order is over $150, please do not use this code, but you’ll still get the free gift. The free gift is your choice of any 1 item valued up to $10.00 from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog or the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog!  Unfortunately, packs of cardstock are no longer an option for a free gift. Shipping has become too expensive to ship and it’s costing me as much to ship as the cardstock costs. For any orders $50 or more I will also send you my monthly class tutorials.  Click HERE or go to my Customer Rewards for more details and to see what this month’s tutorials are.

Please remember to use my current Host Code and make sure that you can see my name on the final checkout page listed as your Demonstrator when you order so that you know that you’re ordering with me, and you’ll get my rewards!

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Today is the big day for us demonstrators. We get to preview the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. Stay tuned for the retiring list that I’ll be posting soon. I’ll get it posted just as soon as I can. I’m planning on going live today at 4pm on my Facebook page, so I may be able to announce some of the colors that will be leaving and the names of the new colors.

Stampin’ Up! Color Refresh Coming Soon!!!

Stampin’ Up1 is all about creativity and sharing what we love with those we love. And that means providing a compelling selection of high-quality craft supplies in coordinating colors and designs. We’re always working to not only meet trends but set them. That means evaluating and even refreshing our current products—This year we’re refreshing our complete color collection!

Stampin’ Up! has announced that, in addition to the new 2023-2025 In Colors, we’ll be getting some new colors in the core color families (Brights, Neutrals, Regals and Subtles) with the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog! You’ll find some new friends and returning favorites among our Brights, Neutrals, Regals, and Subtles. And you won’t want to miss our new 2023–2025 In Colors. We hope you’re as excited as we are to start crafting with these fresh new colors and to share them with your fellow crafting enthusiasts.

We haven’t been told what colors will be retiring, but if you have any favorites that you can’t live without, stock up now!   We do know that the current 2021-2023 In-Colors (Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent) will be retiring. You might want to stock up on the Cardstock, DSP, Reinkers, Stampin’ Blends Markers, Stampin’ Write Markers, Ribbons etc. When supplies run out, they will not be restocking them.

More details about the updates to the color list will be announced on March 29 so look for more information then.  And pick up a few of your favorite colors now to make sure that you’ll have a good supply if your favorites end up retiring with the color refresh!

Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Thank You

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. Does anyone have any plans in the works? I’ll be at work all day today, but tomorrow is our quarterly in person meeting that I’ll be attending. Don’t forget to turn you clocks ahead before you go to bed tonight. This is my favorite time of the year, when it stays light out later, I can go for walks and not worry that it’s going to get dark while I’m walking. With it staying lighter later means the temperatures will be getting warmer, which I love.

Today’s card is a quick one featuring my favorite panel of Designer Series Paper. I am not normally a neutral person, I like color. There’s something about this panel that I just love, the beautiful artwork talks to me somehow. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Happy Labels Thanks 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora Photopolymer Stamp Set and Fancy Flora 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

My design came from the Sunday Stamps Sketch Time Challenge #304.

I played along with Shopping Our Stash Challenge #491, Flowers, Flowers Everywhere.

Stampin' Up! Happy Labels Thanks 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by cutting the center of the Fancy Flora DSP card front out using the 5th largest Stitched Rectangle Die. I adhered the outside Fancy Flora card front to a Soft Succulent card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the center panel of the Fancy Flora card front to a Soft Suede mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Soft Suede cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled the sentiment with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I added a few Enamel Dot Essentials to the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Happy Labels Thanks 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the large detail flower image from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, stamped off once on scrap paper, on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the large solid flower image from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, stamped off twice on scrap paper, over the detailed image. I stamped the leaf image from the Two-tone Flora stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink around the flower. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Soft Suede mat then to the inside of the Soft Succulent card base.

Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you. I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Theme Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s theme.

Stampin' Up! Lighting The Way Thanks 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way Bundle along with the Fancy Flora 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here is this week’s theme.

Stampin' Up! Lighting The Way Thanks 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Fancy Flora DSP to a Soft Succulent card base. I stamped the branch images from the Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way Photopolymer Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen Ink on a panel of Soft Sea Foam cardstock. I cut the branches out using the Lighting The Way Dies. I adhered the branches to the card front, overhanging them a bit, using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I trimmed the excess off using my Paper Snips. Using the Lighting The Way Dies I cut 3 lightening bug bodies from a panel of Smoky Slate cardstock, 3 tails from a panel of Daffodil Delight cardstock and 3 wings from a panel of Vellum. I brushed the Vellum wings with Wink of Stella to give them a little shimmer. I adhered the lightening bug pieces together using small amounts of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. From a panel of Evening Evergreen cardstock, I cut the lantern using the Lighting The Way Dies. I cut a panel of Vellum to fit behind the lantern using my Paper Snips.

Stampin' Up! Lighting The Way Thanks 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

Using my Small Blending Brush, I added some So Saffron Ink to the panel of cut Vellum. I stamped the medium circle from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink on the Vellum. I adhered the Vellum behind the lantern using Multipurpose Liquid Glue just along the edge of the lantern. I adhered the lantern to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the lightening bugs around the lantern using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Lighting The Way Thanks 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink. I cut the sentiment apart using my Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Lighting The Way Thanks 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment and branch images from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the lighting bug image from the Lighting The Way stamp set on either side of the sentiment in Basic Gray Ink. I stamped the glowing tails in Daffodil Delight Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel on an Evening Evergreen mat then to the inside of the Soft Succulent card base.

Stampin' Up! Lighting The Way Thanks 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the branch images from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the lightening / ,bug image from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Basic Gray Ink on the envelope n067front and their glowing tails in Daffodil Delight Ink. I adhered a panel of Fancy Floral DSP to the envelope flap.
